Nana – Meze & Wine in München

Sehr leckeres Essen, freundliches Personal Da es sehr voll war, hat es bisschen länger mit dem Service gedauert (aber vollstes Verständnis dafür!). Eher hochpreisiger für die Portionsgrößen.

Gutes Essen, unhöfliche Kellnerin, unbequeme Stühle. Insgesamt verzichtbar. Schade.

Das Team von Nana verbreitet eine gute Stimmung, man kommt schnell ins Gespräch, das Essen war schnell an der Theke (bei uns war das Lokal sehr voll, trotzdem hat man uns einen Platz ermöglicht) und sowohl die Getränke als auch die Gerichte waren geschmacklich und auch optisch sehr gut. Bei mehreren Personen würde ich eine Reservierungsanfrage empfehlen. Beim nächsten Aufenthalt in München definitiv wieder einen Besuch wert.

Lecker & frisch. Die „Daddy‘s Meatballs“ und die LimoNana kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen. Ab 19:30 gerne reservieren, es kann sehr voll werden.

Mein absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant in München. Ich kann es nur jedem empfehlen. Das Personal ist super, der Wein herrlich und das Essen ein absoluter Traum!

Update: Meine ursprüngliche Rezension (3 Sterne) wurde zwischenzeitlich nach einer Beschwerde des Inhabers entfernt und erst nach meinem Einspruch sowie dem Nachweis meines Besuchs wieder freigeschaltet. Diesen Umgang mit Kritik empfinde ich als nicht besonders vertrauensfördernd und passe meine Bewertung vor diesem Hintergrund an. Mein ursprünglicher Eindruck bleibt jedoch unverändert: Das Ambiente ist nett, der Service okay, die Qualität entspricht aus meiner Sicht jedoch nicht den aufgerufenen Preisen.

Unglaublich mittelmäßiger Hummus und Falafel

Das ist jetzt mein absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant für israelisches Essen. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und alle Dips und Hummus sind köstlich. Auch die Desserts kann ich wärmstens empfehlen.

Gutes Essen und sehr sympathischer Service aber Preis Leistung könnte besser sein und ich war nach dem Shakshuka mit Feta als Lunch nicht wirklich satt - schade. Sind eher kleine Portionen da ....

Sie servieren arabisches Essen und nennen es „israelisch“, dabei heißt es levantinische Küche. Man sollte sich nicht kulturell etwas aneignen, was einem nicht gehört!

Kleines Restaurant mit hervorragendem Essen und freundlichem Service! Reservierung dringend empfohlen. Ich war schon ein paar Mal hier – köstliche levantinische Küche mit kleinen Meze und einer guten Weinauswahl. Die Gerichte sind zwar eher klein, aber geschmacklich top. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Es fehlt ein richtiges Hauptgericht mit Fleisch oder Fisch (daher die Shakshuka). Der Service ist authentisch und persönlich. Da der Raum jedoch sehr klein ist, stehen die Tische eng beieinander. Wenn die Kuchen aus dem Kühlschrank auf der anderen Seite der Bar geholt werden, müssen Gäste von mindestens zwei Tischen aufstehen oder sich bewegen, was die Atmosphäre etwas trübt.

Die Aufmachung des kleinen Ladens ist eher schlicht, dennoch gemütlich. Reservierungen erst ab 19.30, aber sofern man nicht DEUTLICH früher da ist unbedingt zu empfehlen. Das Essen (Falafel, Hummus, Baba Ghanoush, Labaneh, Shakshuka) ist rundheraus fantastisch, der Service freundlich und redlich bemüht dem vollen Laden Herr zu werden. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Kleines und gemütliche Restaurant in der Nähe vom Ostbahnhof. Es gibt eine gute Auswahl an israelischen Essen. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und der Service auch sehr nett. B

Sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service. Wunderbares Essen in schöner Bistro-Athmosphäre. (Stühle könnten etwas bequemer sein - wir waren an einem kalten Januartag dort und es hätte etwas wärmer sein können) Kleines, sympathisches Restaurant mit authentischen israelische Gerichten. Kleine Karte, für ein schönes Esen gut ausreichend. Bei den Weinen würde ich mir eine bessere Qualität/Auswahl wünschen.

Ein supersüßes Lokal, zum „einfach Wohlfühlen“ <3 das Essen ist fantastisch lecker! Wir hatten noch nie so leckere Falafel o.O und das warme Ingwer-Physalis Getränk erst!!! Fantastische israelische Küche! Das Essen schmeckt genau so authentisch und lecker, wie wir es aus unseren Kochbüchern kennen. Besonders das Baba Ghanoush war ein Traum und das rote Shakshuka schön pikant abgeschmeckt. Das Ambiente erinnert eher an ein gemütliches Café, ist aber super einladend. Wer in Ruhe richtig gut essen will, ist hier goldrichtig.

Leckeres israelisches Essen, vor allem der Hummus mit Zaat'ar war der Hammer. Dazu ein Glas "Jonathan Red" sowie eine charmante Bedienung => perfekt!

There is no Israeli food – you'll have to eat Palestinian, Lebanese, Syrian, or Afghan food when you're here. Just so you know, this is misleading communication with customers.

Went there with a friend for dinner...its a small cozy resturant, centrally located with a nice feel to it. The service is good and owner, i think he was the owner :), is funny in a nice a way! Food is good...we both ordered pasta with mushrooms and pfefferlinge...was nice!! Only I felt it was a little pricey (thats why one star less) but honestly eating out today especially after corona has become expensive...so cant complain much!!. Overall a welcoming experience...🙂👍

Authentic, modern, and simply delicious – Middle Eastern cuisine at its finest I recently visited Nana in Haidhausen for the first time and was completely impressed. The restaurant brings the flavors of the Middle East to the table in a creative yet authentic way – you can immediately taste the attention to detail and genuine passion that goes into the cooking here. The ambiance is modern yet cozy – stylish, but no frills. Just right for a relaxed evening. The menu is concise but varied, with many exciting dishes that you won't find everywhere. I particularly enjoyed the mezze – fresh, aromatic, and perfectly seasoned. The sabich with eggplant and egg was a real highlight! The pita bread too: crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside – simply perfect. The service was warm, attentive, and very competent. I particularly liked the fact that the staff were happy to explain the origins and significance of the dishes – you can tell how much culture and history is served here. Anyone craving modern Middle Eastern cuisine – beyond clichés and of the highest quality – should definitely pay a visit to Nana. A true culinary experience in the heart of Haidhausen. Summary: A tasteful mini-vacation in the Middle East – highly recommended!

The food tasted very good. Unfortunately, the baguette served with the shakshuka was old and dry. The portions are very small, and the main course isn't particularly filling.

Pleasant ambiance, friendly, attentive staff, and a hip clientele. The food arrived in small bowls, each holding about 80ml, cold, and stripped of anything that imparted any flavor: salt, pepper, spices, garlic, fresh herbs, citrus juice or zest, sesame or olive oil. None of that, just carelessly and unimaginatively thrown together. More like baby food from Milupa than authentic Middle Eastern or Israeli cuisine. In Haifa, Tel Aviv, or Beirut, guests would leave the table in protest.

Unfortunately, it was a frustrating evening. My second order was forgotten, and ultimately, the waiter didn't come for an hour until I frantically gestured for our table. It wasn't until I was on my way home that I noticed there was one bottle of wine too many on the bill. No chance to correct it later, and I paid €40. It's a real shame, because the taste was excellent.

Tucked away in a lively Haidhausen, this restaurant is a must visit. The hummus is incredibly creamy, and the falafel has a perfect crispy exterior and soft, flavorful interior. Don't miss the shakshuka, with eggs poached in a rich tomato sauce, subtly spiced and accompanied by fresh taste. Whether you're a vegetarian or a meat-lover, there's something for everyone. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends, as this popular spot tends to fill up quickly.

Very slow service, making even simple things unnecessarily more complicated than they are.

Unfortunately a very mediocre experience. The hummus was really good and definitely the highlight of the meal. The prices on the other hand were way to high for the amount of food you get. The salads tasted of not much at all and the pita costs extra, with the hummus you get just baguette. Overall quite disappointing and definitely not worth the hype or the money. Plus the two girls, although friendly, seemed a little overwhelmed with the amount of people and there were items on the bill, which we did not order.

Be careful: rip off! If you don’t specify small or large you automatically get the large and staff does not even bother to ask if you want the small or large. Bad service this is!!

The food was a solid 10/10!! The hummus with the minced lamb was simply delicious!! The Babaganoush, the red Shashuka Feta and the Daddy's Meatball were a dream, well seasoned and beautifully presented. The dishes were all served very hot, which I personally liked. The music was a little too loud and the lights were too bright, but the carrot cake balanced this out beautifully. Authentic, delicious, absolutely recommended!

Delicious meze at reasonable prices. The pita bread as a side dish is particularly excellent. The store is very small and generally has a nice atmosphere. Very crowded in the evenings and therefore very loud for conversations. More pleasant in summer when everything is spread out on the street. Overall, highly recommended.

Very friendly, but I'm surprised that the hummus is so praised... So in Israel it tastes better at every little stand!!! Even in Turkish / Arabic shops in Munich, it tastes more like Israel than in Nana. I was really disappointed. Sorry

This place is cozy, small and has amazing food! Nice plates, great mezze. The aubergine with tomato or hummus with zaatar was amazing. We shared a few mezze together and would thoroughly recommend every of them !

Very tasty Israeli food! It was very crowded and therefore quite loud, but there was a great atmosphere. The staff was absolutely friendly and attentive and we got our food and drinks quickly. It was delicious, gladly again!

Nana in Haidhausen offers guest small dishes in a tapas- / mezze-style. While the food is very good, the quantities were small for the price. Even the spinach Shashuka that was ordered as the main course for one of the guest we were with was too small rendering the guest hungry. Each mini pita loaf is €1.30 and a small ramekin with couscous and chopped beetroot more than €5. Looking at the menu, Nana appears to be more of a bar offering beer wine and long drinks with food on the side. As mentioned the food is very good though would not recommend going to Nana if you’re hungry and are looking to fill up. Also they take reservations after 1930, anytime before it’s a game of luck if a table is free.

It's always nice at Nana, I don't know how the boss does it but the employees are always in a good mood and extremely friendly and welcoming. I really liked that the waitress came to the table several times in the evening and asked if everything was okay. The food is terrific, especially the hummus with tahina is incredibly tasty and the meze is the perfect size to share with friends. The price-performance ratio is more than appropriate for the quality of the products and the service. The Nana really enriches Haidhausen with its existence ☺️

Just had dinner at Nana - Meze & Wine, all what we took was excellent quality and served very quickly, perhaps my favourite place of Israeli cuisine in Munich. The atmosphere is cozy and full of life. The place is relative small, reservation is recommended. I will certainly be back very soon. Thank you for great food and service.

We had a wonderful and delicious evening at Nana. The two guys were fantastic and had good drink recommendations. The food itself was to die for. It was so incredibly delicious. Especially the hummus with lamb and Daddy's Meatball...we would have ordered everything again if we weren't so full. We vowed that evening that we would now eat here every time we visit Munich. Absolute recommendation for anyone who loves Israeli cuisine!

A small restaurant with seating inside and outside. Typically Israeli. Dishes were also very good (falafel and hummus). I sat down to eat with my teenage son who was moderately hungry. In Israel, we would order a plate of falafel, hummus, pitas and pickles. The price should cover everything (possibly excluding pickles). There wasn't such an option here, so we had to share a falafel plate (four balls for €9!), hummus plate for everyone (approx. €9 - fits). The pitas are not included! You have to order these separately (very untypically Israeli). I also wanted Baba Ganoush and got a small bowl for €5 (expensive). To save money, I avoided pickled or spicy foods. We enjoyed the food, the shop wasn't unfull (as it was after 2 p.m.) but unfortunately it wasn't cheap (just under €40, with drinks). On Sundays our favorite restaurant on Berg-am-Laim Str. is closed, so we had to avoid it! The food is very suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

Nice Israeli restaurant. A relatively small place, bustling with life. We ordered shakshuka, hummus, labana, falafel and Israeli salad. The portions are small with emphasis on the salad and the labana. In my opinion, a bit expensive and does not justify the price.

The Hummus was so good that we jumped right into finishing it without making any picture 😅 the hummus is so goooooood, creamy, soft, tasty. I can eat thus kind of vegetarian food again and again 😆
