Vi er en familie der søger en frokost og kommer forbi Sadhu hvor der dufter dejligt af krydret indisk mad, restauranten ser egentlig lidt kedelig ud og trænger til lige at blive shinet lidt op med maling og hist og pist. Men vi går derind og bliver taget imod af en smilende og venlig tjener (måske ejeren) Vi bestiller lidt mad og drikkevarer. Sammen med drikkevarerne for vi en lille snack på huset papadams med 3 forskellige dips til som alle smager dejligt og gør at vi ikke tænker over ventetiden på maden da vi bare sidder og hygger med snacks. Da maden bliver serveret er det i små autentiske gryder hvor det ser super indbydende ud og da vi smager maden smiler vi alle fordi at det smager så dejligt. Vores datter på 6år siger at det er noget af det bedste indiske mad hun har smagt. Tusinde tak for god mad.

We loved the hospitality of Mr. Mudit Malhotra who was great with his exceptional service! Also, being from India I did not have great expectations but i was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and the closeness with actual Indian taste! Must try: Jhinga curry, garlic Nan and papad! 👌😋

Absolute recommendation! Very friendly staff and excellent food.

We were there for lunch with two adults and two children, for four people 120 EUR - that's pretty sporty. The restaurant has a very high quality design, the food is well presented, a nice change from other Indian restaurants. The service is not attentive enough for the price level.

This is a real hidden gem. My girlfriend and I came tonight to try the place out. It was great! It’s a little hidden from the main pedestrian way in Elmshorn but was easy to find anyway. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was friendly, helpful and professional. I will absolutely come again and recommend that everybody else does too!

Wer richtig indisch essen möchte, kann dies nur im tandoori tonight. Ein absoluter Geheimtipp. Sehr freundlicher aufmerksamer Service. Relativ kleiner Gastraum, daher lieber einen Tisch reservieren. Sehr humane Preise, die etwas angehoben werden könnten, für die Qualität. Man sollte sich aber im Klaren sein, dass indischen Essen auf Grund der Gewürze eine gewisse Grundschärfe besitzt. Man hat zwar die Möglichkeit die Schärfe etwas abzumildern oder in Original indischer Schärfe zu essen, es ist aber kein Vergleich zu den anderen indischen Restaurants in der Umgebung, die geschmacklich nur currypulver in die Sauce rühren. Absolut empfehlenswert, wer mal richtig indisch essen will.

We chose Namaste after all the excellent reviews. We had reserved our table at 4 p.m. with 4 adults and 3 children. The service was always nice and polite. However, we would have liked more attention. The drinks came quickly and the food was at the table in a reasonable amount of time. The salad for 4 people had to be distributed from a shared plate. Here we would have found it nicer if everyone had “their” salad served on their plate. The food was served hot and attractively. The children were really warmly welcomed. An opportunity to change diapers was quickly organized. The fish in the aquarium were the highlight for the children. As time went on, the restaurant became more crowded. A cola we ordered was forgotten. The menu for dessert was placed on the table. We would have really liked to order, but no one came to take our order. The service staff seemed slightly busy and were busy setting up new things or seating new guests at the tables. New guests arrived at the reception and were supposed to come to our table. The employee said: “One moment please, the table is about to be free”. We actually felt a bit uncomfortable here. Now, with just under 2 hours at the table, we had probably reached our maximum stay time. When we paid we were offered mango liqueur, which we gladly accepted. Unfortunately only 2 of us 4 adults got one. Maybe we just caught the wrong day, maybe there was a lack of staff. All in all it was still a nice experience, with a few negative points. Thanks.

Virkelig lækker mad, vi var begge meget imponerede. Ude området hvor vi satte os kunne have været gjort lidt hyggeligere, men betjeningen var hurtig og høflig.

Never had such a bad Indian meal before. The food (lamb) was watery, a bit more spices would be beneficial. Except for the wait staff, everyone was very reserved. Today in Berlin we ate INDIAN. with 3 sauces and salad... automatically comes with the meal you order (lamb in cream sauce with 99 cashews) and all of this is under 15 euros and very tasty. Next time in Lübeck I'd rather go to bed hungry or drive to MC
