As a vegetarian, coming across chicken in your Paneer Massala is something I would classify as “it can happen to anyone”. However, if the other person is almost finished when my “purely” vegetarian version finally arrives, I can apologize for that too. Although I only had half of the rice left after I let my plate go back, it wasn't refilled. The service was very nice and attentive. The food was tasty, although moderately spicy instead of mild.

We were there for lunch at 2:30 p.m. The service was very attentive and friendly. The food was served very quickly and was extremely tasty. When we asked, we were given a little more rice free of charge. The location in the pedestrian zone ensures pleasant background music from street musicians on the terrace. Highly recommended.

After 3 visits, tastes noticeably changed. Service boy was so indifferent to the order. Didn't even bother to ask what spice level should be served. When request to add a bit more spice, he even wanted to blame the customer. There won't be 4th time for us Sally.

I was at Ajay with a total of six women. It was just great, everyone ordered something different, everyone was really excited. Even though the store was pretty busy, everything was well organized and we all got our food quickly. The food is extremely tasty, I can recommend it 100%.

Its fine.....i got som fried fish for at starter, its was great, the fish was still moist and tasty, i really liked the mint/koriander dipping. The indian duck was dry and the sauce a bit tasteless, i had hoped for more taste from an indian restaurant. Service was really great though.

Were there for the first time. Fish curry, lentils, 2x chicken tandoori/tikka + papadum and naan bread were ordered. Everyone was thrilled with the food in terms of taste and quantity. In addition, an extremely emphatic host and service. We'd love to come back there.

Super nice restaurant with great service. You get your food quickly and it’s fresh from the stove. I recommend the appetiser nr. 4. Really good! That said that had three levels of spice and we weren’t quite sure how spicy it was. Took level one and that was kid friendly. If you want more spice I would probably go up a level 👍🏽 They didn’t have any English menus but google translate worked fine.

The food is good but when ordering/picking up you get significantly smaller portions than when eating in a restaurant. Reason: "That's normal because it would be served differently on plates." Incomprehensible to me.

The food was delicious, any special requests were addressed immediately and the boss was friendly and competent! We were a very large group, but everything was remembered and implemented perfectly. We were all happy and will definitely be back!

Such a great, plentiful and authentic selection. There's always something for everyone: whether vegan, veggie, fish, meat &&& we're thrilled and that's why we always like to go there. Not just mainstream curry but also Indian burgers, exceptional starters and desserts. A very nice, diverse and creative selection of dishes and always with a real Indian connection - we like that!

Visited friends in Flensburg and visited this Indian guy. Nice atmosphere right in the city center. You can sit outside very nicely. Very friendly service. Very good Aperol Spritz. The food was really very tasty and reasonably priced. Had Chicken Tikka Masala and Smoked Aubergine each with naan and rice. Delicious. If we are in Flensburg again we will definitely come back here.

Ajay is an absolutely outstanding Indian restaurant. The starters and also the main courses were a poem. Everyone can decide the level of spiciness for the main dishes themselves. There are a variety of classic Indian dishes and also a large vegetarian selection. The service was very friendly and absolutely helpful. I can only recommend a visit!

The food was great! We chose Indian Burger (Pav) and Indian Duck and shared both. We also ate raita (yogurt). Everything was excellent. The friendly service employee, Haider Cheema, was particularly accommodating and gave us very good advice. We will be back definitely!

This evening we sat together and ate two curries. As always, the food tasted very tasty and authentic. Unfortunately I have to say that the waiter seemed a bit arrogant and annoyed with us. He was inattentive the whole evening and even swapped the food from the next table with ours. In addition, the music was too loud and you couldn't have a conversation.

We travelled all the way to this Resturant since a friend recommended this place we ordered Biryani and it tasted so bad, we told the waiter that we did not like it and asked for something else. He again got the same biryani with some fixing and it tasted even bad. They are not even concerned if we liked it or not. Still billed us 15 euros for the biryani which we did not even touch or like it. I would at least expect a decent service but they don’t even care. Please don’t try their biryani and the flavour is just so bad and it smells so weird. Waitress doesn’t even know the difference what a real biryani is. 😟

Nice service and very tasty food. Reasonable meat and a suitable dish is served even if you have intolerances. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and inviting. The location in the city is great and easy to reach from every direction. We can highly recommend the restaurant!

On March 14th We stood in front of the closed door at 12:45 and it wasn't opened even though lunch was offered Mon-Fri from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and no one answered the phone even though there were two employees in the kitchen It's a shame that we were left standing there because we really had an appetite for Indian food.

The lunch menu is varied, but you can already tell the difference to “normal” food. “Spicy” here is really very spicy. Nice service.

We spontaneously stopped by last Sunday after a handball game. Since we are from Berlin and like to eat Indian cuisine and have eaten/tested a few restaurants in Berlin. We haven't found an excellent meal like you have anywhere! It's a shame that you have your restaurant in Flensburg otherwise you would have us as a permanent customer. A child-friendly restaurant as there was a small child in our group.

We spontaneously decided on Ajay for dinner. And we got a nice seat even without a prior reservation. The service was very friendly. The food was great. In addition to the traditional mango curry chicken, we also tried something new to us (all chicken dishes) and were not disappointed. You could taste the freshness of the ingredients in all dishes. Especially when it comes to meat, only pure chicken breast fillet meat was used. The spices are well balanced. You could even choose between mild and spicy CurryMango. We will definitely come back and can warmly recommend this restaurant.

Service: very unprofessional, waitress had long fingernails, empty glasses were not cleared away after you ordered a new drink, the food took a long time to arrive. Food: was ok, portion size was good, taste was okay. Now to our highlight: two men “traveling through” were allowed to give a talk about their traveling life and then went from table to table to ask for change. We personally found it more than inappropriate to attack dining guests like that, you can beg on the street but not in the restaurant. Don't let the good reviews influence you too much

Seldom eaten so badly! We were there with 4 people, had two mixed starter plates and 4 main courses. The quality of the meat (chicken, fish, shrimp) was poor. Either the meat was dry or cold. Added to this is the lack of taste. The permanent offer on a blackboard promises salmon in cornflake breading and fries. This dish is not what it claims to be. There was watery cheap pollock. If salmon is offered, I expect that too. In the end we paid 144 euros for the cheapest, poor quality food that we would never buy. You can spend your money much better. The service staff was friendly and tried very hard. However, it is inappropriate to address every guest as du. This was awkward and my husband consistently responded with a “you.” The ambience is economical and apart from the paint on the walls, not much has changed in the premises from the previous tattoo studio. The guest room is separated on the way to the toilets by a curtain, which looks shabby. Once and never again!

First of all, about the staff: They are really friendly and very competent. It knows the dishes itself and can therefore make good recommendations. The decor is very nice and I think the food is really good, even though I'm not used to spiciness. However, the dishes are also available in slightly less spicy versions.
