Very very tasty food. You are greeted very warmly at the entrance. We didn't have to wait long for the food and it was so delicious that we'll be back next week.

Everything fits here. Super friendly and the food is very tasty. Good portions at very fair prices. We had ordered starter in advance, very generous but incredibly tasty and a good mix of everything - after that we were actually already full. But when it tastes so good, you'll still eat it all. You have time and it's easy to last longer here. Perfectly timed, people ask again and again whether everything is OK and whether there is anything else that can be done. Top location and definitely see you next time

The food was really delicious and reasonably priced for large portions. The manager and the waitress were very friendly and an extra portion of rice was even served and customer requests were taken into account. The restaurant is quite smart, with nice new tables and chairs.

We had a hotel stay in Flensburg and our hotel was an absolute mess. We then strolled through the city and came across this great restaurant. We were welcomed with live music. The Indian live music was an absolute highlight and mood lifter. The food was absolutely delicious. Truly extraordinary. The service was wonderful, exceptionally friendly and attentive. Absolutely recommended. We went home full and with big smiles. Deserved 5 stars ♡♡♡♡♡

The Indian restaurant was fantastic! My chicken tikka masala was perfectly seasoned, creamy and incredibly delicious. The Butter Garlic Naan was soft, buttery and had just the right amount of garlic. The chicken lollipops were particularly great – crispy and full of flavor. Friendly service and authentic food that I can absolutely recommend!

Be careful when ordering for delivery! Update: Our last order made us reconsider our review. One dish was delivered correctly, the other was missing 2 components that were ordered (see original review below). So we got 1/2 naan with paneer cheese and some vegetables?! What kind of dish is this supposed to be? You basically “have to” choose the “Masala it up” option. Mistakes like this would happen less if it was just a complete dish. By the way, the cheese and vegetables were inedible because they were prepared in a marinade that was strangely bitter this time. We tried eating it with rice and sauce from the other dish, but even that couldn't drown out the bitter taste. Unfortunately, money for the barrel. Nothing could be delivered because the store doesn't have its own drivers (order via eats). We were assured on the phone that something would be refunded for the next order. The only other option: reimbursement via uber eats (the €2 for “Masala it up”). The Garlic Naan we also ordered wasn't delivered, but we only noticed this after it was reported in the app, so we couldn't report it anymore (the app doesn't allow it - you have to complain about everything straight away). Logically, without our own driver we cannot deliver and the error was admitted on the phone and the solution mentioned above was offered - but first there was a note that rice and sauce had to be ordered separately and only then was our order looked at. From the sound of it, the problem seemed to occur quite often. Then maybe you should think about why you are still offering this dish as is instead of making it complete for €2 more. As if anyone orders it without the "upgrade"? Original review: We have eaten here several times, the food is delicious. We particularly welcome the selection of vegetarian and vegan options. In our case, spicy was really spicy. The homemade paneer from the tandoori oven is particularly recommended! One complaint about the dishes would probably be that they don't really make any sense without "Masala it up" for an extra 2 euros. Just grilled cheese with some vegetables and some bread? Pretty much everyone will probably order sauce and rice with it. The service left something to be desired. Unfortunately, we always had to wait quite a long time until our order was taken, but then the food was always on the table pretty quickly. We just weren't so keen on the fact that there was an endless back and forth with a guest who really wanted a certain wine by the bottle, then it should only be available by the glass, etc. They could have easily taken our order in between so that it ends up in the kitchen. Or the manager could have clarified it with the guest himself instead of sending the waitress back and forth as a messenger. We understood because it was a new restaurant where not all of the procedures had been implemented yet and the two waitresses seemed inexperienced and overwhelmed. But we'd love to come back :)

We have been here several times, and must admit that the quality of the food is abysmal. We also had to leave the restaurant on one of our visits as you couldn't breathe inside, everyone was sitting in the restaurant coughing.

We regularly visit Gill at Ajay with a changing line-up. We have never been even remotely disappointed. The food always tastes world-class, the service is always friendly and attentive and the ambience is simply pleasant and stylish. For us, it is definitely the best restaurant with Indian cuisine, and not just in the Flensburg area. We are treated courteously every time, every effort is made to respond to individual wishes and they are implemented with love. For us it's just like visiting friends. Best regards Vanya and Filip

We were guests in Flensburg and were looking for a delicious restaurant and came across this Indian restaurant. The welcome from the owner was very warm and friendly. The service he provided was super nice and immediately created a family-relaxed atmosphere. The food is super tasty, fresh and well seasoned. Spicy is just the right level of spiciness. If we are in Flensburg again, we will definitely come back.

For me the best restaurant in Flensburg! There are vegan and gluten-free options. Anyone suffering from celiac disease is in good hands here!

As a vegetarian, coming across chicken in your Paneer Massala is something I would classify as “it can happen to anyone”. However, if the other person is almost finished when my “purely” vegetarian version finally arrives, I can apologize for that too. Although I only had half of the rice left after I let my plate go back, it wasn't refilled. The service was very nice and attentive. The food was tasty, although moderately spicy instead of mild.

We were there for lunch at 2:30 p.m. The service was very attentive and friendly. The food was served very quickly and was extremely tasty. I was at Ajay with a total of six women. It was just great, everyone ordered something different, everyone was really excited. Even though the store was pretty busy, everything was well organized and we all got our food quickly. The food is extremely tasty, I can recommend it 100%.

Its fine.....i got som fried fish for at starter, its was great, the fish was still moist and tasty, i really liked the mint/koriander dipping. The indian duck was dry and the sauce a bit tasteless, i had hoped for more taste from an indian restaurant. Service was really great though.

Super nice restaurant with great service. You get your food quickly and it’s fresh from the stove. I recommend the appetiser nr. 4. Really good! That said that had three levels of spice and we weren’t quite sure how spicy it was. Took level one and that was kid friendly. If you want more spice I would probably go up a level 👍🏽 They didn’t have any English menus but google translate worked fine.

The food is good but when ordering/picking up you get significantly smaller portions than when eating in a restaurant. Reason: "That's normal because it would be served differently on plates." Incomprehensible to me.

The food was delicious, any special requests were addressed immediately and the boss was friendly and competent! We were a very large group, but everything was remembered and implemented perfectly. We were all happy and will definitely be back!

Such a great, plentiful and authentic selection. There's always something for everyone: whether vegan, veggie, fish, meat &&& we're thrilled and that's why we always like to go there. Not just mainstream curry but also Indian burgers, exceptional starters and desserts. A very nice, diverse and creative selection of dishes and always with a real Indian connection - we like that!

Visited friends in Flensburg and visited this Indian guy. Nice atmosphere right in the city center. You can sit outside very nicely. Very friendly service. Very good Aperol Spritz. The food was really very tasty and reasonably priced. Had Chicken Tikka Masala and Smoked Aubergine each with naan and rice. Delicious. If we are in Flensburg again we will definitely come back here.

We were and continue to be warmly welcomed. Attentive service is very important here. Drinks or other requests are always inquired about. The food is served on modern dishes and, above all, hot. Ajay is an absolutely outstanding Indian restaurant. The starters and also the main courses were a poem. Everyone can decide the level of spiciness for the main dishes themselves. There are a variety of classic Indian dishes and also a large vegetarian selection. The service was very friendly and absolutely helpful. I can only recommend a visit!

This evening we sat together and ate two curries. As always, the food tasted very tasty and authentic. Unfortunately I have to say that the waiter seemed a bit arrogant and annoyed with us. He was inattentive the whole evening and even swapped the food from the next table with ours. In addition, the music was too loud and you couldn't have a conversation.
