A very authentic restaurant with very friendly service and an owner who personally greets every table and has an eye for detail.

Definitely a good place. Delicious food, friendly service, and I was really full, even for me, who likes a lot. And I don't like rice, but the rice here was also very tasty. Parking is right in front of the door, but only for one hour until 6 p.m., which is perfect for dinner.

This was my first time ordering dinner from Namaste India for takeout. The food was ready for pickup in plenty of time when I arrived. The service was very friendly, and they even gave me some homemade mango liqueur to take home. Once we got home, we were able to enjoy the delicious Indian dishes. Everything was freshly prepared and tasted very authentic. We were very satisfied and would definitely order again, and if possible, eat in the restaurant, as the ambiance there also makes a very good impression. Thank you very much, and keep up the good work!

This was our third time at "Namaste," and we're always surprised by the dishes. The various spices and sauces are like an explosion of flavor on the tongue. This time we opted for a chicken dish and a vegetarian dish (see pictures). Papadum as a starter is also a must. The ambiance is beautifully decorated, and the service was always friendly and attentive. We'd be happy to come back.

Nice restaurant, good food and great service. The “Chef’s Recommendation” menu was very well selected and it was nice to try many different dishes. Drink recommendation was very good, as was the food recommendation. The service was also very good. Regular, non-intrusive inquiries about customer satisfaction were very pleasant. Unfortunately, the vanilla ice cream was just OK for us compared to the rest of the food. Reflecting, the restaurant and the service were very good. Accessibility would be a change we would like to see

Sehr leckeres, an den deutschen Gaumen angepasstes, Essen. Die Bedienung freundlich, der Gastraum gemütlich und sauber. Einige kleinere Kritikpunkte habe ich aber: Der Reis, der für 2 Bestellungen zusammen in einer Schüssel serviert wurde, war doch etwas knapp bemessen. Kartenzahlung zwar möglich, aber nur direkt am Tresen. Würde allerdings wieder kommen.

Had Indian food for the first time on January 26, 2025. We were both pleasantly surprised, we both really enjoyed it. There was only a small problem when we chose our food and showed the gourmet block. The slightly older gentleman made a strange comment: “You chose two expensive ones”. You don't make comments like that. Otherwise the service was very nice.

We had a very tasty meal with a very friendly staff. The ambience was also very pleasant for eating, chatting etc.

There were 4 of us and we ordered lamb, which was delicious. No more diarrhea from eating

Expensive, boring seasoning. And I find it difficult to judge that the meat was lamb, as the meat had more of the strong taste of mutton. Staff present inattentive and not very service-oriented with only 2 tables occupied. There were also communication problems due to the language barrier. For me there are no reasons to go there again! That was my first and last visit...

Food was quite okay for the price. The four of us were the only guests and had to wait almost an hour for our food. The boss was disappointed that I had to pay by card.

We chose Namaste after all the excellent reviews. We had reserved our table at 4 p.m. with 4 adults and 3 children. The service was always nice and polite. However, we would have liked more attention. The drinks came quickly and the food was at the table in a reasonable amount of time. The salad for 4 people had to be distributed from a shared plate. Here we would have found it nicer if everyone had “their” salad served on their plate. The food was served hot and attractively. The children were really warmly welcomed. An opportunity to change diapers was quickly organized. The fish in the aquarium were the highlight for the children. As time went on, the restaurant became more crowded. A cola we ordered was forgotten. The menu for dessert was placed on the table. We would have really liked to order, but no one came to take our order. The service staff seemed slightly busy and were busy setting up new things or seating new guests at the tables. New guests arrived at the reception and were supposed to come to our table. The employee said: “One moment please, the table is about to be free”. We actually felt a bit uncomfortable here. Now, with just under 2 hours at the table, we had probably reached our maximum stay time. When we paid we were offered mango liqueur, which we gladly accepted. Unfortunately only 2 of us 4 adults got one. Maybe we just caught the wrong day, maybe there was a lack of staff. All in all it was still a nice experience, with a few negative points. Thanks.

I was recently at the Namaste India Restaurant and all I can say is: an absolute delight! The food is incredibly tasty, especially if you like the typical Indian spiciness. The Butter Chicken Masala was to die for – tender chicken in a creamy, slightly spicy sauce that literally melted in your mouth. The biryani was also perfectly seasoned and wonderfully aromatic, with just the right balance of spiciness and exotic spices. I would also like to particularly highlight the mango lassi. It was the perfect refreshment after the spicy meal. Creamy, fruity and sweet – simply irresistible! The great thing about Namaste India is that it offers something for everyone. Whether you prefer authentic, spicy Indian cuisine or the milder, “German-Indian” version – everyone gets their money’s worth here. The spiciness can be adjusted if desired, so that both lovers of real Indian cuisine and those who like it a little milder will be happy. For anyone looking for an authentic Indian restaurant: Namaste India is a clear recommendation!

I can only partially understand all the positive reviews. Yes, the food was delicious and the staff was nice. But that doesn't change the fact that the business is a harmful rip-off. The menu includes one plate of rice per person. Here, if you eat with two people, you only get one portion of rice, which two people have to share, just like the salad. So you are forced to order a portion of rice at an additional cost. Never experienced anything so outrageous. The operator has cleverly arranged that you don't just get a full plate per person, but everything is served separately and you can put extra money in your pocket. And €18.90 for a main course? And €4.70 for a glass of Sprite? And to top off all the overpriced food, we both developed gastrointestinal problems. Also worth mentioning is the lack of empathy in keeping fish. Four larger fish are in an aquarium that is far too small without any aquatic plants or places to hide and one small fish is in a typical goldfish bowl, although it is known that this type of animal husbandry has a negative impact on the fish's psyche. Not recommended at all!

Super great restaurant. The food is excellent and the price-performance ratio is definitely right. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere make every meal special. There are also no long waiting times during peak times. I have also hosted celebrations there (birthdays) and have always been very satisfied. The owner always tries to accommodate special requests, which is very pleasant. We can definitely recommend this restaurant. If you love good food, this is the place for you!

We had dinner at Namaste with 6 people - everyone had a different dish. We all enjoyed the dishes very much and the portion sizes were sufficient. Everyone got their own warmer for their food so that it stayed hot for a long time. The service was very nice and attentive but not intrusive. The prices were reasonable. Because we “paid” with gourmet passes, the bill became a lot cheaper. After paying, everyone received a very tasty homemade mango schnapps on the house. We will definitely come back - I can recommend the restaurant without reservation.

It was our first time there, four of us. One menu for 3 people and one à la carte. The portions were generous and the rice was delicious. The staff was super attentive and very friendly. We sat outside around 5 p.m. Here we deducted one star because of the inconsiderate drivers and the noise: of course the operator can't do anything about howling engines and loud music from open car windows. Maybe a half-height window or simply more behavior on the part of drivers will help. We will definitely come back or order and pick up (no delivery available, I can totally understand that).
