Very tasty food and friendly staff.

Friendly service that was always available! The food was very good and the prices fair. I enjoyed my visit and would gladly recommend this Italian restaurant.

Perhaps we just caught them on a bad day. In any case, we've never had such a bad meal in Veneto. My husband and I each ordered a rump steak: mine medium, mine medium-rare. At first, the server didn't know which plate was whose. But it didn't really matter, because both steaks were almost completely overcooked with slightly burnt surfaces. The side dish offered was rosemary potatoes and vegetables. We each received one and a half small potatoes, two slices of carrot, and a limp piece of broccoli. What a shame, we've definitely had much better meals at this restaurant!

This was our first time at Ristorante Veneto. The pizzas were absolutely delicious – they really tasted like Italy. I also appreciate that you can choose between two sizes for many of the dishes. The ambiance is rather simple, but it's still cozy, and the service is friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be coming here more often.

This restaurant is located in the pedestrian zone in Geesthacht. Although it was very crowded and we hadn't made a reservation, we got a table. The service was incredibly friendly and quick. The tables are very close together, which is a shame, as it somewhat lacks privacy. The noise level was also quite high. The food was good; I had a lasagna (house specialty), which wasn't as classic as I had hoped, hence the deduction in points.

On the positive side, the service was, as always, very friendly, and the shellfish foam soup was truly delicious. Unfortunately, everything else was among the worst we've experienced in a long time. The decor is stuck in the 90s with dark faux leather chairs, uninspired, without fresh flowers or any appealing decorations. For years now, they've been serving a tomato and bell pepper cream with a few simple olives from a jar before the appetizers. Truly unworthy of an Italian restaurant! The antipasti platter consisted of a generous portion of various vegetables, but everything was drenched in an unbelievable amount of oil. This unfortunately continued with the main courses. The salsiccia pizza was only lukewarm, the crust was raw in the middle, and the topping was dripping with oil. The tagliatelle con tartufo was the absolute low point. The pasta was mushy and clearly pre-cooked and then reheated in water. The sauce was gray, pasty, oily, with a pervasive aftertaste of flavored truffle oil. Not a single fresh truffle shaving was used. Only artificial flavoring! The beef tenderloin tips were meager and dry. How an Italian restaurant can offer such a pasta dish with any decency is beyond me. There are many excellent examples in the Hamburg area where the chef should definitely apprentice. A real shame for the price!

The food was better at the previous location near the post office; unfortunately, two out of five people had stomach problems after eating there. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the food was served promptly despite the restaurant being full. The restaurant was quite dark due to dim lighting. The restrooms were very clean.

A family meal after bowling. Typical Italian (Mediterranean) flair, delicious food, and exceptional, child-friendly service. We'll all definitely be back soon. Greetings to the chef and thanks to the waitstaff!

The food was good, so I'm happy to give it a stone. The service was very friendly and polite, so I'm giving it a second star. But that's about it. I wanted to enjoy some time alone with someone else. Unfortunately, a group of about 20-25 people was just half a meter away from our table for two. I have no idea what they were celebrating there, but they were shouting so loudly the whole time that I could only communicate with my companion by shouting. And if someone left the table to smoke or go to the bathroom, when they came back, the whole group would scream for minutes. The same thing happened when the server brought the next round of drinks or food. Once I went to the restrooms on the other side of the restaurant, where several tables had also been pushed together, and there was a large party of over 20 people having a party. It was quite loud. When I asked the waitress for the bill without even complaining, she said, "Oh, it's so loud, excuse me." I simply replied, "It's not your fault, but this isn't a romantic Italian restaurant." It's more like a beer tent at Oktoberfest. The waitress didn't respond. You could say it was just a coincidence, and I, or rather, we, caught a bad time. But I don't believe that. When I wanted to reserve a "table for two," I was offered either from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. or from 7:30 p.m. until closing time. So, the operator already selects who comes in and for how long. I made a reservation for 7:30 p.m., and when we got there, this "happy group" had obviously been sitting there for a long time, and they continued to sit there screaming and shouting after we left around 9 p.m. You would have to have made a reservation, and the restaurant owner knew 100 percent who he was "granting access to." Apparently, this is the norm there, unless you come sometime on a Tuesday or Wednesday in the early afternoon. Not on a weekend evening. So, if you want to spend a quiet, romantic weekend evening at an "Italian" restaurant, you'd better find another place. And if you like the "beer tent feeling," you might be happy here. Personally, I won't be visiting the place again.

In downtown Geesthacht, the team at Veneto will serve you competently and courteously! The atmosphere is super cozy and clean! The food is absolutely fresh and perfectly suited to a discerning palate. The pizzas are the most delicious! The value for money is excellent! Highly recommended! Stop by and grab a bite! It's best to reserve a table on weekends!

Our regular Italian restaurant—we drive all the way from south Hamburg to Geesthacht for this. The chef knows what he's doing, and the service is excellent. Regular customers are greeted by name. Simply delicious. The value is also excellent. We got a nice table outside. We'll definitely be back.

I ordered two pizzas to go, one for myself and one for my child. My pizza was decent (there was a bitter aftertaste of some herbs or other spices). I ordered the child's pizza without tomato sauce, just chicken and cheese. It was severely burnt and dried out, and he couldn't eat it at all.

The prices for the food are very reasonable. The drinks, on the other hand, are quite expensive. A 0.4-liter juice spritzer costs €5.50. For a 0.2-liter juice with some mineral water, it's quite disproportionate. We had, among other dishes, pasta aglio et olio. Unfortunately, the pasta was much overcooked, and I would rather call the dish pasta parsley, since the parsley was the only flavor. A shame, especially if you don't like parsley. The service is very friendly and attentive.

We were here because of the good recessions and can confirm that it is worth it. Attentive service, good food that is also visually appealing. A reservation on Friday / weekend is recommended. You should plan a good 1.5 hours for 3 courses. We'll definitely be back.

I highly recommend this restaurant. We went for lunch on a Saturday with five people – including an 11-month-old toddler and a preschooler. The welcome was very warm. The children were catered to. The food arrived quickly and was delicious.

I spontaneously dined here with my girlfriend and were not disappointed. We both felt like eating pizza, one with burrata and one with parma di parmesan. We enjoyed it. Although the shop was relatively full, the food came very quickly and the staff was friendly. The small drawback is that we were only told when we asked that there was fish in the pesto in the greeting from the kitchen.

We ate here yesterday and were quite late. That wasn't a problem at all, we received a very friendly welcome and were allowed to choose a spot. Beforehand there was a delicious bread with dip and olives on the house. Delicious. Then we had bruschetta, also very tasty. For the pasta we could choose between a small or normal portion. I thought it was really great too. We had the salmon noodles, to die for. So incredibly delicious that I would never want to eat at another Italian restaurant again. For dessert there was mousse au chocolate, sensationally delicious and so beautifully presented. We are thrilled and are really looking forward to the next visit. Absolute recommendation.

First visit to Ristorante Veneto today. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met based on the reviews and the price level. Food: The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't value for money. Example Bruschetta: Cheap oil instead of high-quality olive oil; Tomatoes without flavor; Basalmico cream was an industrial molasses fake, but the price was almost 6 euros for two slices. Main course: Lamb fillets in red wine sauce with fried vegetables and rosemary potatoes. Meat was very good. Were fillets and not salmon. Fillets were free of tendons. Sauce was disappointing. No taste, no garlic, no red tartaric acid, no herbs. Probably convenience gravy mixed with water. Rosemary potatoes without rosemary flavor. Vegetables okay for frozen goods. I skipped dessert given the price of 8.90 euros for crème brûlée. Completely overpriced. Service good and very attentive. Ambience: in my opinion, tables that are too small, although there is enough space. There is culinary potential to go up or the price to go down.

The picture of the location is no longer current, as Veneto is now in the pedestrian zone. I'm there several times a month, whether for lunch or in the evening. The food is great and I have always been satisfied.

The ambience wasn't my thing, the food was okay. I had tagliatelle in a parmesan basket. I know that the cheese offers a crunchy addition to the pasta. The latter were too soft and the Parmesan was like rubber. But the meat was good. The mussels were surprisingly tasty. Service was friendly, pragmatic and attentive. The waiting time was very short. Of course, personal taste plays a role when it comes to interior design. I just can't get excited about the late nineties. But hey, it's Geesthacht and not Hamburg.

Unfortunately not my case at all. Unfortunately, the pizza tastes like a delivery service and is nothing special. Compared to a real Neapolitan pizza, this is worlds apart. But the bread beforehand is great. Unfortunately, since moving to the new restaurant, the service is no longer as good as it used to be. The tables are outside, in front of the restaurant, on the one hand much too small and on the other hand much too close to the other guest. You're sitting extremely close, so to speak, with friends and people. A pity.

The handmade pizza is awesome. We like to order pizza here and the hot sauce that you can get with it if you wish is also great.

For dinner I ordered a large pizza, it was served quickly and it cost €13, no complaints from me.

Was there on a Wednesday and there were no seats left at 6 p.m. So always reserve seats... at least call and ask beforehand.

The pizza always tastes great to me

We had dinner here with the family. We all enjoyed it very much. I had a Margherita pizza and thought it was delicious. The bruschetta and bread as a starter were also delicious. What I found unfortunate is that one person got his pizza much earlier than everyone else. He had already eaten them by the time the rest of us started eating. I think that's a very long time gap.

Drinks came quickly and the food was on the table after about 15-20 minutes, which is really great for the number of guests. One star deduction for the lack of a children's chair.

The food is super delicious! There are no long waiting times and the waiters are very friendly and attentive. Nothing is really expensive there and the quality of the food is really impeccable. I don't know of a better restaurant.

The food tastes very good, just like I like Italian cuisine. The staff is friendly, attentive but not intrusive. We always enjoy going there.

The store seems a bit cramped...when it's full, it's noisy just because of the narrowness. Even though the tables are small, the service is good and quick. However, the prices are ugly: a large beer costs €5.5 - that's no longer nice. For the pasta dishes, the plate is oversized... rarely paid €10.5 for such a small pasta dish. In my opinion not recommended...

Nice restaurant, delicious food, service had a lot to do but was always friendly

It was perfect like every time. Everyone in service was very nice and accommodating. Alkergias are taken into account and it tastes great every time you visit.
