Small, cozy restaurant with excellent food! Great outdoor seating in the summer. Highly recommended!

Very nice, stylish ambiance and a beautiful view of the Elbe River – especially in the sunshine. The waitress seemed slightly annoyed when we asked for a vegetarian dish. Unfortunately, she didn't prove to be very confident and wasn't very adept at offering suggestions. My (vegetarian) daughter was a bit disappointed and opted for the "baked herder's cheese" with red cabbage and croquettes... a strange combination 🙄 It's very trendy that there are more and more vegetarians. I would really like to see Sebastian include a trendy meatless dish on his menu (vegetable casserole, ratatouille, etc.). I ordered pike-perch fillet with savoy cabbage – it was simply a taste experience of the highest order. My friend ordered veal schnitzel with potatoes and cucumber salad – he also had high praise for it. At the end, the waitress explained to me that the menu was very meat-heavy... We were all full and still enjoyed our stay. Sebastian's is highly recommended for people who enjoy meat and fish. Top quality – superb cooking.

We stumbled upon it quite by chance and had a drink. It has a great view of the Elbe. The ambiance seems a bit patched together. But the best part was the service. A young man, obviously not of German origin, attended to our requests in a very charming and attentive manner. He always had a friendly word to say, without being intrusive. Truly a rarity in Berrich service in general!

The steak was perfectly cooked. The pizza ton was very tasty, but unfortunately there was too much tomato sauce and not enough tuna. It's a shame, but the crust was great! Very friendly young waitress. Really very, very attentive. Keep up the good work.

The food is delicious, the service is great, and the view is magnificent! We've eaten at Sebastian's twice already, and it's always a pleasure. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside, right by the Elbe River. The interior is beautifully and comfortably decorated. The service is courteous and attentive. If we didn't live so far away, we would definitely go there more often.

Very friendly staff, even with children, and good, solid food. The menu isn't unnecessarily overcrowded; they focus on what they do well. We had steaks and chicken. Very tasty. Not exactly inexpensive, but the price/performance ratio is okay. The ambiance is rather mediocre, but the Elbe River, the good food, and the very friendly staff make up for it.

The outdoor area offers a wonderful view of the Elbe. The menu isn't very extensive, but the prices are above average.

The entire team was incredibly attentive, professional, and at the same time so welcoming that we simply felt at home. The food was an absolute highlight – our guests are still raving about it! Great little restaurant pearl, somewhat remote from the other tourist destinations in the area, right on the banks of the Elbe near Geesthacht. Stylish indoor area, but the outdoor area is the even bigger attraction -- garden-like, between some trees, some tables covered and others uncovered, all with unobstructed views of the Elbe. The menu is short, with finely prepared meat and fish dishes (although there seemed to be a little less for vegetarians). Personal experience: everything of exquisite quality. The service is great, we are so attentive, personal and friendly. Absolute recommendation. Note: The parking lot at the restaurant itself is "manageable", but just a few meters further towards Geesthacht there is a parking lot for Elbbestauners, which should be large enough for every occasion. (As of: May 2025, in spring weather, Saturday)

The food is high quality, we don't need to talk about the ambience - it's perfect right on the Elbe :) . We'll definitely be coming back more often from now on, the pasta with the beef was 5 stars for us today

We went to Sebastian's for Christmas dinner (duck). The food was good, the service was very friendly. The ambience is good, but unfortunately very loud, so it was sometimes difficult to have a conversation at your own table. Unfortunately, three desserts worth almost €30 were added to our bill, which we had not ordered. We only noticed this when we got home when we looked at the bill. Understandably, this is also our mistake because we didn't check the invoice immediately, but the subsequent contact/inquiry was anything but pleasant (no callback, no apology or anything similar). Again, we should have checked the bill, but an apology if asked would have been appropriate. It's a shame, we probably won't come back.

Four of us were at Sebastians and had a nice dinner. The service was good and child-friendly, the selection of dishes was adapted to the season and there was a good selection. Despite a larger group at the neighboring table and a generally well-attended restaurant, the individual courses came at good intervals. So everything was well organized. Everyone enjoyed the dishes and the price was also right. Sebastian's is definitely worth a visit.

As always, a very nice evening with friends in a cozy and extremely friendly atmosphere with very good food and wine. Just always changing great daily specials.

What a great “Simmenthaler” steak. That was fun. The only negative aspect, there was a bit of a toilet smell in the guest room...

Company party with 26 people: A small restaurant with a quiet atmosphere. Tables set very stylishly. Drinks menu very varied, even in the non-alcoholic area. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and attentive throughout the evening -> all in all very, very nice! (Prices were not relevant for me in this case)

I became aware of Sebastian's at a birthday party. The food is of good quality, appropriately seasoned and varied in sufficient quantities. What I remember most impressively was the sunset over the Elbe and the excellent and more than willing staff. It's definitely worth a visit!

The food was good. The location by the water is nice. However, the friendly waitress seemed completely overwhelmed when collecting cash. The bill was between 40 and 45 €. We gave her three €20 notes and said 45. This was a problem that she tried to solve by asking us if we could round up. I'm sorry, what? To 50 or what? I actually should have answered whether she wanted to round it down to 40. Unfortunately, that didn't occur to me. So I solved the mathematical puzzle for her and told her how much money I would get back. So I would definitely watch my change here. If 60 minus 45 doesn't work, then counting money probably won't work that well either.

The food was good, as was the service. All that can be said about the ambience is “view of the Elbe”! What more could you want?

Food and ambience great. But the service leaves a lot to be desired for a restaurant like this. Friendly, however, we had to point out to the waitress that she wanted to get steak knives, but when they came it was unfortunately only lukewarm...

It's a shame, I wanted to reserve a table, the employee handed over the second call to the owner, who didn't feel able to call back before closing time, and then ultimately, in order to shorten the matter without checking, quickly negated the request. Because of the unfriendly behavior you felt like an unpleasant supplicant. Apparently you don't need it... The company was recommended to me because of the food. The food may be good, but dealing with the customer in this way ultimately does not promote the image. Another restaurateur will appreciate it.

We have been to Sebastian's several times now and my 5 stars are still set in stone. 😁 Sebastian's does everything right: High-quality ingredients, cooked in a modern and extremely tasty way. 🙏🏻 Friendly, cheerful and competent service. 😊 And a dream location on the Elbe 🌊 With a modern interior and a beautiful, large terrace. We also love the relaxed atmosphere that exists in the restaurant and on the terrace and by the employees. 😃 Recently there has also been Pinsa and Pasta, which we definitely want to test. A great location, right on the Elbe. Service was very good, unfortunately the food did not meet our expectations. Unfortunately, the beef fillet was not cooked to the desired cooking point. It was still good to eat, there was a nice apology + a free dessert. If the kitchen performs well, it's definitely 5 stars.

Reserved a table 3 weeks ago, received a reminder the day before, had to travel 25 km only to be turned away because of "closed company". When I asked the staff how that could be, they replied that they were sorry but that's how it was. Alternative would be outside!!! Impossible, never again!!!!!

We were there with 12 guests and everyone was satisfied. A small menu impresses with high-quality ingredients. Steak plate, pasta, fish, small vegetarian selection. Everyone was happy. There is a terrace with sunrise over the Elbe. The service was excellent. We'd love to come back!

Nice shop and really nice atmosphere (05/01/2024). Unfortunately completely disorganized. All waiters are responsible for all tables. After 20 minutes. Even after 5 customers waved (4 customers wanted to pay), the waitress came and wanted to take the order straight away. But we didn't have a memory card, but luckily we knew what we wanted... Luckily, I ordered the bill as soon as I received the food. So I was able to pay after another 10 minutes after we were finished. Instead of dividing the outdoor area into areas for each waiter and giving the tables numbers, the staff descends into complete chaos. It's a shame on such a beautiful day and place.

Wir waren zu 5 und hatten ein Tusch reserviert. Die Getränke kamen flott gefolgt voneinander Gruß aus der Küche : Tomatensuppe mit Meerrettich Schaum im Schnapsglas - sehr lecker Die Rippen zum Hauptgang waren ebenfalls top . Einmal mit der Gabel ins Fleisch und schon war es komplett vom Knochen gelöst. Super zart und top gewürzt. Auch die Dippers waren klasse : Heiß, knusprig und gut gewürzt, Der Nachtisch - Sebastians Churros mit selbstgemachte Franzbrötchen Creme war ebenfalls sehr gelungen. Auch oder vielleicht auch weil die Bedienung noch frisch dabei war, war sie sehr freundlich , schnell und hilfsbereit . Top. Wir kommen wieder - gerne auch im Sommer um die Sonnenterasse mir Elbblick zu genießen

We were there today for Easter brunch, so it was more of a lunchtime buffet in the afternoon. There was little choice for the price (€34.50 per person) fried potatoes, meat, fish, and soup as warm dishes, the rest were salads. It was very clear and lacked some attention to detail (some nice Easter decorations etc). Everything tasted good, but a la carte would probably have been better and cheaper.

As always, we ate very well at Sebastians and enjoyed it, even though the boss flew out for a short time... - big praise to his great crew! Kitchen and Caro were great as always THANK YOU

Ambiente ansprechend, Bedienung nett, Musikuntermalung (Jazz) schön, aber Essen: Hirsch trocken, Wildschwein säuerlich. Nicht wirklich gehobene Gastronomie - leider!

Wir haben ein schönen Abend hier verbracht. Die Speisekarte und Tagesangbote sind viel verschersprechend. Der Service ist sehr gut. Ein kleines, sehr feines Restaurant.

Sehr schön gelegenes, kleines und sehr feines Restaurant, welches aus der Recht eintönigen örtlichen Gastronomie im besonderen Maße hervor sticht. Die Auswahl saisonaler Zutaten, allesamt sehr professionell zubereitet und auf den Punkt serviert überzeugen auf ganzer Linie. Als Gast fühlt man sich herzlich willkommen und wird sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend durchs Menü begleitet. Eine moderne kleine Karte überzeugt mit einer großen Vielfalt. Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichte Nachspeisen können fast jede Vorliebe und Geschmacksrichtung erfüllen. Insgesamt sind wir sehr angenehm überrascht und möchten dies als "absoluter Geheimtipp" in Geesthacht bewerten. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Campingplatz angeschaut und dran vorbei gefahren. Essen war was besonderes. Echt lecker 😋 und reichlich. Würde ich wieder essen gehen, wenn wir in der Nähe sind. Draußen schön gesessen und Blick auf die Elbe gehabt. Echt entspannt.

Gestern bei herrlichem Wetter im "Sebastians". Reservierung hatte toll geklappt, ein Tisch mit schönem Blick über die Elbe. Sehr freundlicher Empfang der Bedienung, zuvorkommender, professioneller Service. Wir hatten die köstliche Vorspeise, das Sauerfleisch und die Hühnchenbrust. Alles sehr lecker, aber herausragend, die Bratkartoffeln. Keine Fertigware aus der Tüte, echte, leckere, krosse Kartoffeln. Kann man kaum besser machen. Danke für den tollen Abend.

Bei gutem Wetter draußen auf der Terrasse sitzen, mit Blick auf die Elbe. Angemessene Portionen. Leckere Getränke und Speisen. Freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Empfehlenswert !!!

Wir waren mit Sohn und Schwiegertochter das erste Mal hier, und waren positiv beeindruckt. Gutes Ambiente drinnen, wie draußen. Schöner Elbblick. Gutes Essen, freundliche und nette Bedienung. Das fleisch ist sehr gut, aber alles anderes wie beilagen , sosen, etc eher nicht so gut, viel zu teuer für die gesamte qualitet, aber ein großartiger blick auf die Elbe

Das Lokal liegt direkt an der Elbe, schöne Aussicht und bei gutem Wetter schön zum draußen sitzen. Kleine Karte, toll angerichtete Speisen. Wir hatten einen sehr netten und aufmerksamen jungen Kellner. Kommen gerne mal wieder.

Leider war mein Zander zweimal gestorben ein mal beim fangen und einmal in der Pfanne ich bin aufgestanden und habe es der Kellnerin leise gesagt. Sie sagte sie würde es in der Küche sagen. Es ist dann aber nichts passiert.Zu allem Überfluss wurde ich von der Kellnerin bei der Bezahlung sehr gemassregelt als ich mir die Rechnung angesehen habe. Es wäre doch meine Schuld sie hätte doch am Anfang gefragt. Da war ich aber erst bei den Beilagen und die waren gut. Wenn ein Gast unzufrieden ist, sollte man sich anders verhalten. Übrigens lag der Fisch beim abräumen noch auf dem Teller . Also, ich fühlte mich schlecht behandelt.

Sonst immer draußen mit Blick auf die Elbe gegessen, diesmal Wetterbedingt im Restaurant. Ich kann beides empfehlen. Die Karte gibt für jeden Geschmack was her und das Essen ist hier immer auf hohem Niveau.

Ein schönes kleines Lokal direkt an der Elbe. Eine übersichtliche Karte , gut gefüllte kleine Bar! Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und das Essen ein Genuss.

Wir waren mit der ganzen Familie dort und haben zum wiederholten Mal in diesem Restaurant gegessen. Der Koch probiert überraschende Kombinationen aus, wovon bisher keine enttäuscht hat. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne zurück.

Ich habe meinen Geburtstag im Februar mit 34 Gästen im "Sebastians" gefeiert. Wir sind ganz toll bewirtet worden. Schon der Begrüßungscocktail war ein Hammer. Die Tapas als Vorspeise und das Hauptgericht, Zander oder Rinderfilet mit Bratkartoffelpüree, sowie das köstliche Dessert wurde von allen Geladenen in höchsten Tönen gelobt. Ich möchte mich hier noch einmal für Gelingen dieses Abends beim Chef und seinen freundlichen Gehilfen bedanken und ich kann dieses Restaurant nur mit Nachdruck empfehlen. Hugo Poel

Zum stattlichen Preis von EUR 150 habe ich eine "ganze Gans" zur Abholung bestellt. Im Restaurant reichte man mir dann das Gänse-Paket über den Tresen, alles schien einen guten Lauf zu nehmen. Zuhause angekommen began ich mit dem Servieren, aber siehe da: die ganze Gans hatte keinerlei Brustfleisch, dieses war komplett enternt worden! Stattdessen hatte man noch zwei weitere, knochige Schenkel hineingeschmissen! Eine "ganze Gans" (so wird sie auf der Webseite beworben) mit vier Beinen und keiner Brust??? Nun, Krümmel liegt in direkter Umgebung und bekannterweise ist es ein verstrahltes Gebiet ... aber ich gehe nicht davon aus, dass die Gänse auf der Sommerterrasse des Restaurants gezüchtet wurden. Mit anderen Worten: Wer falsche Tatsachen vortäuscht, wie hier eine ganze Gans zu verkaufen, aber wissentlich eine komplett entbeinte Gans mit minderwertigerem Fleischgehalt einpackt, ohne dem Kunde die Wahl oder einen Preisnachlass zu gewähren, der sei gegrüßt von StGB 263. Einmal und nie wieder! Abstoßend, wie hier mit Kunden umgegangen wird!

Zu unserem Hochzeitstag haben wir dort Tisch bestellt, meine Frau hatte im Internet ein Bewertungen gelesen und wir waren neugierig ob dass Essen wirklich so gut schmeckt. Unsere Bewertung mit 5 Sternen ist absolut gerechtfertigt, Ambiente klasse, gemütlich mit dezenten Musik, und dass Essen 5+ , Rinderfilet zart wie Butter, meine Frau hatte Rip Eye bestellt und war genauso begeistert, Nachtisch Creme Brûlée und die restliche Getränke perfekt. Dieser Adresse muss man sich merken. Vielen Dank für tolle Abend, wir haben genossen 😂😀👍
