A very nice restaurant with delicious food and fair service. The service is also very friendly and attentive. 👍

We had a party there. The house is quite old and desperately needs renovation. The heating wasn't working in one room, and another smelled strongly of heating oil. In our room, the bathroom fan wasn't working, and the door seal was sticking out. The skylight in the hallway was broken, so the rug was wet. Water was constantly dripping onto the floor in the dining area. The food was very good, but the service seemed a bit unmotivated.

Very nice, well-kept rooms. Opening the windows facing the Elbe River brought in a wonderful, refreshing breeze (it was 36 degrees Celsius in Geesthacht), allowing for a restful sleep and very comfortable mattresses! Extremely friendly staff. A hearty breakfast and a delicious lunch. Highly recommended. We'll be back 👍🙋!

A very nice hotel with a good breakfast. The restaurant is also highly recommended; the food was delicious 😋. The location is also very good, right on the Elbe River, and we had a view of it from our room. The staff was very friendly. The only drawback was the soft mattresses.

Four of us went there to eat our fill of schnitzel. I, however, preferred the kids' menu of pasta with tomato sauce – I also got that in the "senior" version (i.e., a larger portion). 😅 The ice cream afterward was also great. Just like the service, very attentive and cheerful, with a quick joke on their lips. Thanks for the great evening 👍

Very friendly reception. Room was reserved in advance. Rooms clean and ventilated. Look freshly renovated. Toilet and shower in the bathroom are clean and modern. Cozy box spring bed. Service staff friendly and experienced. The food ordered according to the daily menu was very tasty and freshly prepared. I felt in good hands and can only recommend everything. Any time.

I had dinner there with my girlfriend yesterday and with my family a while ago. On our first visit we sat outside. When the brief rain started, we simply pulled the table under the parasol. Yesterday there were no umbrellas put up and we fled inside. There we were seated at the counter. This seemed a bit chaotic, but that was more due to the lack of staff. Nevertheless, the operation went smoothly. The food was great both times. You can't complain about that! The price is also ok for our standards. The only drawback in both cases... missing ashtrays. By the way, there is also a charging station for 2 cars in the parking lot 👍 I can't say anything about the rooms as we only stayed in the restaurant

About the hotel: once and never again! We were there for 3 nights. The breakfast was ok. You just have to eat what you are given. You have to ask for tea. Coffee and juice were available. However, the rooms were sooo dirty. The equipment is old. But that wouldn't be a problem if you cleaned regularly. However, that doesn't seem to be the case here. The dust mice that were, for example, in the container for the free mineral water in the room, as well as on the floor and on the lamps in the bathroom, must have accumulated over months. The mattresses were stained, as were the throw pillows and the bed's bedspread. The shower head in the bathroom was completely calcified. Since there is neither an opening window nor a ventilation, it was clear to us why mold had formed in the joints and on the ceiling. We were so disgusted. We had to force ourselves to take a shower. The socket at the sink was loose. The missing toilet roll holder was the least of our problems. There was no chair or table in the room to put anything down. The hotel employee to whom we described all this wanted to forward our complaint to the boss. However, there was never a response from him.

The room was extremely small but everything else was fine.

Great restaurant with regional dishes. Smelt, duck, kale. Everything very tasty at normal prices. We didn't use the hotel.

DANGER ! Already for the second time we noticed that something was wrong with the bill... there was a conscious attempt to cheat us when it came to the bill. We were supposed to pay more than we had ordered...that is, there was more on the bill than we had ordered. There's no need to mention that something like that doesn't work at all. Never again.

Was invited to a birthday party. There was delicious soup, roast goose and dessert. All very tasty. Was only in the restaurant.

We were full for the schnitzel, I've never experienced anything like it, everything was freshly prepared, no plated meals. Everything was placed individually on the table and you could help yourself. The staff very friendly and helpful. We will definitely visit the restaurant again.

Room 7, the refrigerator directly in front of the balcony door runs and runs and runs. It's a disgrace to rent out a room like this. If you want peace and quiet, you can't open the door and you'll essentially suffocate in the room without a supply of fresh air. We booked a week and are unnerved.

We had reserved a table in the restaurant and specifically mentioned that we were bringing our dog and baby with us. Unfortunately, the service staff didn't even notice us or accompany us to the table. After just a minute, a guest at another table complained that our dog was disturbing us, even though he was lying quietly under the table. We have never had such a strange experience. It certainly wouldn't have taken long for the guests to complain about our baby. The service staff also showed no interest in finding a solution. We then went to the Italian restaurant and had a great evening there! Absolutely disappointing and not recommended.

We were there on Saturday March 9, 2024 to eat our fill. Operation and service was great even though the place was old and there were only two people there to serve. The stint was plentiful and tasty and there were fried potatoes and bacon potato salad. Since we like to eat applesauce during our stint, but it wasn't available in the restaurant, we were allowed to bring our applesauce with us upon request. We don't think that's a bad thing and it was okay for us. We'll definitely be happy to come back for dinner and not just for that Stint, because the menu also offers other delicious dishes.

Stint was very tasty, we eat the smelt there every year and are thrilled every time.

The food is pretty good, I would give 4 star for food but one star for the waiter, he was so rude for a non german speaking guest. Visited the restaurant on Feb 16 and felt disappointed so much. Come back one week later with a colleague, this time I feel better because of the other waiter. The food is good by the way

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit tollem und freundlichem Personal. Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Man konnte gut sitzen. Die Bedienung war Recht schnell. Es ist eine kleine Karte, die Preise sind soweit gerechtfertigt. Komme gerne wieder.

Toll, heute Gans mit Rotkohl und vielen Beilagen in Hamwarde abgeholt. Sehr lecker, alles perfekt gegart/gekocht. Für uns mit einer großen Familie ohne Aufwand tolles Weihnachtsessen. Alle Daumen hoch und vielen Dank!!!!

Wir waren gestern Abend hier Gans essen und es war mal wieder super lecker. Preis-Leistung spitze. Der Service war sehr lieb und aufmerksam ohne dabei zu "stören". Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Abend.

Mit Blick auf die Elbe hervorragendes Essen genießen? Das ist hier sehr gut möglich! Wir kommen seit Jahren immer pünktlich zum Martinsgans essen - einfach köstlich!

Die drei Sterne gehen nur an die Köche. Denn das Essen war super lecker. Nur hatten die Kellner nicht viel übrig für ausländische Gäste, hatten Steak satt bestellt und wurden von denn Kellnern komplett ignoriert, während die Nachbartische regelrecht mit Aufmerksamkeit überschüttet wurden. Als unsere platte leer war und die Kellnerin rüber schaute sagte sie nur ach ihr habt ja noch und ging weiter. Und der Kellner fragte uns ganz frech ob er aufräumen kann. Das ich sowas im 21.Jahrhundert mit meinen Kindern noch erleben durfte ist sehr traurig.

Tolles Landhaus in dem man super leckere Speisen und Getränke bekommt zu einem angemessenen Preis.

Een restaurant waar men voor een goede prijs erg lekkere snitsel kan verkrijgen (wijn met een rietje is ook mogelijk (grapje)). Je hond is er ook welkom. En weer eens bij een erg goed Restaurant. Genoten van een geweldige maaltijd. Een biertje op zijn tijd...

Vor Jahren waren wir dort zu einer Silvesterfeier. Zimmer, Service, Ambiente und Essen hervorragend.

Man hat Schwierigkeiten in Ruhe einen Kaffee ☕️ zu trinken...Kuchen gibt's nicht..

Zu den Zimmern können wir nichts sagen da wir nur das Restaurant besucht haben. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Mit dem Essen waren wir auch sehr zufrieden. Sonntags gibt es dort ab 17.00 Uhr „Steak satt“ , wirklich sehr lecker und zu empfehlen. Dazu werden Pommes oder Bratkartoffeln angeboten, eine Sauce dazu und Salat vorweg. Preislich auch absolut im Rahmen.

Gutes Essen nettes Ambiente und freundliches Servicepersonal. Alles in allem gut.

Das Landhaus ist schön und ist nah an der Elbe. Manche Zimmer haben auch ein Fenster mit dem man die Elbe sehen konnte. Der Service war gut. In der Nähe von Landhaus gibt es viele schöne Orte. Das Zimmer was wir hatten war auch gut mit ein paar Problemen.
