Wir haben gestern dort gegessen und waren sehr positiv angetan von dem liebevollen Service und dem tollen Essen.

Für mich das beste indische Restaurant in Norderstedt. Schönes Ambiente. Die Speisen – besonders das Butter Chicken – sind sehr lecker und authentisch zubereitet. Auf Wunsch werden die Gerichte auch angenehm scharf serviert. Als netter Gruß aus der Küche gibt es vorab Papadam mit drei verschiedenen Saucen bzw. Dips, was direkt Lust auf mehr macht. Man wird persönlich vom Chef oder vom Service begrüßt und fühlt sich dadurch sofort willkommen. Der Service ist aufmerksam, freundlich und sehr bemüht, dass man sich rundum wohlfühlt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist für mich absolut in Ordnung. Besonders positiv finde ich die gemütliche und stilvolle Atmosphäre des Restaurants. Man kann hier sowohl entspannt mit der Familie essen als auch einen schönen Abend mit Freunden verbringen. Die Gerichte werden frisch zubereitet und geschmacklich merkt man die gute Qualität der Zutaten. Auch die Portionen sind ausreichend und schön angerichtet. Was mir ebenfalls gefallen hat: Trotz gut besuchtem Restaurant musste man nicht lange warten und das Personal war jederzeit freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hier merkt man, dass Gastfreundschaft wirklich gelebt wird. Ich werde definitiv wiederkommen und kann das Restaurant jedem empfehlen, der gutes indisches Essen in angenehmer Atmosphäre genießen möchte.

Wir waren heute mit unserem Sohn zum Essen hier. Das Essen war wirklich gut! Zusätzlich hat der sehr nette Chef unseren Sohn einige Spielsachen gegeben, so war er beschäftigt. Wirklich zu empfehlen!

Mefil ist zu unserem Stammrestaurant geworden. Super Service, der Chef nimmt sich immer Zeit für ein kurzes Gespräch. Das Essen ist auch super lecker. Außerdem ist das Personal auch sehr kinderfreundlich.

Das Essen hat hat uns sehr geschmeckt und die Portionsgröße war völlig ausreichend. Es gibt viele kostenlose Parkplätze.

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal gemeinsam mit unseren Kindern bei Mehfil und rundum begeistert. Das Essen ist großartig, die Inhaber sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und die Location wurde mit viel Liebe gestaltet. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Und danke für das Papadam to go :-)

Freundlichkeit wird groß geschrieben! Und das Essen schmeckt mir auch hervorragend! Vor allem die Tomatensuppe als Vorspeise ist ein Gedicht! Ich hatte bislang Butter Chicken und Chicken Jalfrezi als Hauptgericht....beides sehr lecker! Ich komme gerne wieder!

Gut: Einfachheit der Reservierung, Preise, Geschmack und Vielfalt des Essens, Parkplatzsituation (gratis ab 18Uhr) Weniger gut: der Weg zur Toilette (im Keller) ist sehr schlecht ausgeleuchtet und die Bewegungsmelder reagieren zu langsam. Auf meinem Reservierungswunsch (abseits, ruhig) wurde nicht eingegangen: zwei Bereiche waren leer und wir wurden in den einzig vollen Bereich platziert. Zum Bezahlen wurde ich gefragt, ob ich bar oder per Karte bezahlen will und als ich meinte "bar" erhielt ich nach dem bezahlen nur eine Zwischenrechnung. Fazit: ich gehe hier nicht wieder essen.

Bisher immer super leckeres Essen bekommen. Es wird auch gerne auf individuelle Wünsche eingegangen. Super finde ich persönlich, dass das Essen auf Stövchen serviert wird, so ist es bis zum Schluss schön heiß. Der Inhaber ist selber vor Ort und supernett! Hierher zu kommen ist einfach immer wieder toll !

Wir waren gestern zu zweit vor Ort. Das Essen, sowohl Vorspeise als auch Hauptgang war so lecker und der Service super freundlich! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Waren an meinem Geburtstag da, und was soll ich sagen... Das war das beste indische Essen das ich bis jetzt bekommen habe. Dazu noch die sehr freundliche Bedienung und ein ansprechendes Ambiente. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können es nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Am 31.12. Zum Abendessen reserviert, freundlicher Empfang, prompte Bedienung, Essen sehr lecker, gut gewürzt und exotisch. Qualität 1A , superfreundliche Bedienung, sehr aufmerksam. Absolut zu empfehlen!!! Preis/Leistung gut.

Wir waren zwischenzeitlich länger nicht mehr im Mehfil. Mittlerweile hat sich die Küche wieder verbessert.

Schönes Restaurant am Markt in Norderstedt. Essen hat super geschmeckt aber hätte ruhig noch etwas schärfer sein können und die Sauce war für meinen Geschmack zu dünn.

Grundlagen 100%: Kartenzahlung möglich, sauber, saubere Toiletten, Notausgänge in Ordnung. Das Essen ist fast so gut wie im Ashoka, daher 5 Sterne.

Very good Indian food, which we think is perfectly adapted to Europeans in terms of spiciness. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The ambiance is also very well-maintained, and the tables are well-spaced. The dishes are beautifully presented and taste excellent. One of our highlights when it comes to Indian food.

Fantastic! We ate at Mehlfil two days in a row because we were so impressed. From the service to the food, it was a solid 10/10. Very good restaurant in Norderstedt. Typical Indian. The starter always comes and is apparently on the house, but it's also difficult to enjoy (instructions would be appreciated...)

We had our overnight stop over in Hamburg during our Norway trip. We just checked the Google reviews and went to this restaurant. It was a great decision we made. The food was so good. Gulab Jamun was the best. My kids loved the Matka kulfi. Will definitely visit again.

The staff are super friendly, attentive, and happy to help if you're having trouble deciding with the huge selection (which is really hard!). But the absolute highlight is, of course, the food: Whether it's butter chicken or all the other amazing Indian specialties – every bite was a dream! Incredibly aromatic, perfectly seasoned, and freshly prepared. So authentic and delicious as we've rarely experienced – definitely the best Indian food we've ever eaten! 💛 We're already big fans and can say with full stomachs: We'll definitely be back – and not just once! This Indian restaurant is simply fantastic. I don't enjoy eating at any other Indian restaurant as much as I do here. We come regularly and have never had a complaint. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

We're always happy to come back. Super personal and friendly. The food is always fresh and typically Indian. We love coming here. The buffet was fantastic. The quality, service, and price were all reasonable and delicious.

We spontaneously came here for dinner on a Saturday afternoon while meeting up with friends. Because of the high temperatures, we sat on the terrace under the awning, which was nice and shady. It was bearable. The restaurant was fairly empty at the time. We were served fairly quickly, were given the beautifully designed and extensive menus, and had plenty of time to choose something delicious. We like lassi, so we ordered the mango lassi and the salty lassi. We also dared to order an appetizer, even though we knew beforehand that we might not be able to finish the main course ;-) We shared the samosa and pakora appetizers, which were very tasty with two delicious sauces. Each of the four of us chose a different main course, including the vegetarian palak paneer and the shahi paneer. We also had chicken jalfrezi and chicken tikka masala. This way, we could sample each other's dishes. All the dishes were very delicious and exactly as we requested, some mild, some a little spicier. I don't think there was anything left over, maybe a bit of rice. Afterward, we took our time and decided that dessert could (and should) fit in after all. We all ordered the superb Indian ice cream, Matka Kulfi, which was beautifully presented in small clay bowls. But after that, absolutely nothing else fit in our stomachs. ;-) Summary: We spent a wonderfully relaxing afternoon with very! delicious food at a reasonable price and really friendly service. We will be back!

We had dinner here with friends who already knew Mehfil and recommended it. Very attentive and polite service. The menu was interesting and not overly extensive. We had various lamb curries, very hearty and pleasantly spicy. Upon request, we were given a small pot of chili to spice things up. There was plenty of draught beer and a few, but select, bottled wines. Absolutely reasonable prices. A lovely, delicious evening. We'll be back. A tiny suggestion for improvement: India now has its own exciting wine culture, so Indian wines would also fit well on the menu.

Great service, very tasty, and super friendly. We were there with 12 adults and one child and got a nice outdoor table without a reservation. Even though it was quite busy, the food, including appetizers, arrived promptly and all together. The appetizer came first, followed shortly after by the main course. We're all from Cologne, and the restaurant would have no trouble keeping up with the Cologne crowd.

Really outstanding food. We felt very comfortable as a large group and ate there two evenings in a row. The service was also very courteous. If we come back north, we'd be happy to do so again!

Great curry!!! Tandori chicken and chicken Tikka were also tasty, and not too spicy. Even kids could enjoy them. All the curries that we ordered were so tasty. The staff was so polite, kind, and hospitable. The restaurant was spacy, nice ''Indian'' setting, and clean. Even we took out our food, everything was perfect. Highly recommended!

I came here by chance on a motorcycle tour and ate. I ordered the food to be a little spicier. Very friendly service. The food was great and it came very quickly. Next time I won't be here again by chance. Great Indian, great coincidence.

We came here with very high expectations as a result of the reviews. Food was really good and price/performance was perfect, but there are many other points which can be improved at some extent. Owner is very kind but I cannot say the same for the waiter. The toilets are also not clean enough.

Fantastic Indian Restaurant Experience! We recently visited this Indian restaurant and absolutely loved it. We received a very friendly welcome from the start and the service was attentive and courteous throughout the evening. As a starter we shared samosas and a delicious garlic naan. Both dishes were excellently prepared and tasted excellent. For the main course we chose Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken. The sauces were creamy, aromatic and the chicken pieces were tender and juicy. We also drank Mango Lassi, a refreshing yogurt drink with mango. The prices in this restaurant are absolutely fair. We were very satisfied with the quality of the food and the friendly service. We can only recommend this Indian restaurant and would love to come back!

Very tasty Indian cuisine, friendly staff.

For us the absolute best Inter ever. The atmosphere is great! The dishes are prepared with love in Indian style. Nobody leaves there hungry. Nice boss and relaxed service. Really great value for money. For 2 people it's always around €40 for a starter, drinks and main course until you drop. We continue to come regularly :)

The food here is always very tasty and the price/performance ratio is absolutely right. The service is very nice and attentive and this is one of the Indians where out of a group of 10 no one had any complaints afterward. My colleague from India told me that the cuisine was very good and that he liked it (although it is probably different in India itself but you probably have to travel there to have this experience) We don't live far, so we actually go there often.
