Absolutely authentic Indian cuisine. The vegan aloo gobi is truly delicious. Friendly service, filling portions, and delicious. Parking is free right in the parking lot.

Very good Indian food, which we think is perfectly adapted to Europeans in terms of spiciness. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The ambiance is also very well-maintained, and the tables are well-spaced. The dishes are beautifully presented and taste excellent. One of our highlights when it comes to Indian food.

Fantastic! We ate at Mehlfil two days in a row because we were so impressed. From the service to the food, it was a solid 10/10. We had our overnight stop over in Hamburg during our Norway trip. We just checked the Google reviews and went to this restaurant. It was a great decision we made. The food was so good. Gulab Jamun was the best. My kids loved the Matka kulfi. Will definitely visit again.

We've been to Mehfil in Norderstedt twice now – and what can we say: it was simply heavenly! 😍 As soon as you enter the restaurant, you feel completely welcome – the ambiance is warm, authentic, and cozy. The staff are super friendly, attentive, and happy to help if you're having trouble deciding with the huge selection (which is really hard!). But the absolute highlight is, of course, the food: Whether it's butter chicken or all the other amazing Indian specialties – every bite was a dream! Incredibly aromatic, perfectly seasoned, and freshly prepared. So authentic and delicious as we've rarely experienced – definitely the best Indian food we've ever eaten! 💛 We're already big fans and can say with full stomachs: We'll definitely be back – and not just once! This Indian restaurant is simply fantastic. I don't enjoy eating at any other Indian restaurant as much as I do here. We come regularly and have never had a complaint. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

We're always happy to come back. Super personal and friendly. The food is always fresh and typically Indian. We love coming here. The buffet was fantastic. The quality, service, and price were all reasonable and delicious.

We spontaneously came here for dinner on a Saturday afternoon while meeting up with friends. Because of the high temperatures, we sat on the terrace under the awning, which was nice and shady. It was bearable. The restaurant was fairly empty at the time. We were served fairly quickly, were given the beautifully designed and extensive menus, and had plenty of time to choose something delicious. We like lassi, so we ordered the mango lassi and the salty lassi. We also dared to order an appetizer, even though we knew beforehand that we might not be able to finish the main course ;-) We shared the samosa and pakora appetizers, which were very tasty with two delicious sauces. Each of the four of us chose a different main course, including the vegetarian palak paneer and the shahi paneer. We also had chicken jalfrezi and chicken tikka masala. This way, we could sample each other's dishes. All the dishes were very delicious and exactly as we requested, some mild, some a little spicier. I don't think there was anything left over, maybe a bit of rice. Afterward, we took our time and decided that dessert could (and should) fit in after all. We all ordered the superb Indian ice cream, Matka Kulfi, which was beautifully presented in small clay bowls. But after that, absolutely nothing else fit in our stomachs. ;-) Summary: We spent a wonderfully relaxing afternoon with very! delicious food at a reasonable price and really friendly service. We will be back!

We had dinner here with friends who already knew Mehfil and recommended it. Very attentive and polite service. The menu was interesting and not overly extensive. We had various lamb curries, very hearty and pleasantly spicy. Upon request, we were given a small pot of chili to spice things up. There was plenty of draught beer and a few, but select, bottled wines. Absolutely reasonable prices. A lovely, delicious evening. We'll be back. A tiny suggestion for improvement: India now has its own exciting wine culture, so Indian wines would also fit well on the menu.

Great service, very tasty, and super friendly. We were there with 12 adults and one child and got a nice outdoor table without a reservation. Even though it was quite busy, the food, including appetizers, arrived promptly and all together. The appetizer came first, followed shortly after by the main course. We're all from Cologne, and the restaurant would have no trouble keeping up with the Cologne crowd.

Really outstanding food. We felt very comfortable as a large group and ate there two evenings in a row. The service was also very courteous. If we come back north, we'd be happy to do so again!

Great curry!!! Tandori chicken and chicken Tikka were also tasty, and not too spicy. Even kids could enjoy them. All the curries that we ordered were so tasty. The staff was so polite, kind, and hospitable. The restaurant was spacy, nice ''Indian'' setting, and clean. Even we took out our food, everything was perfect. Highly recommended!

For me the best Indian restaurant in Norderstedt. Nice ambience. The food (butter chicken) was very tasty. There is also spiciness available upon request. As a greeting from the kitchen there is papadam with three sauces/dips. You are personally greeted by the boss or waitress. Attentive service. The price-performance ratio is ok for me. I will come again.

We came here with very high expectations as a result of the reviews. Food was really good and price/performance was perfect, but there are many other points which can be improved at some extent. Owner is very kind but I cannot say the same for the waiter. The toilets are also not clean enough.

Fantastic Indian Restaurant Experience! We recently visited this Indian restaurant and absolutely loved it. We received a very friendly welcome from the start and the service was attentive and courteous throughout the evening. As a starter we shared samosas and a delicious garlic naan. Both dishes were excellently prepared and tasted excellent. For the main course we chose Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken. The sauces were creamy, aromatic and the chicken pieces were tender and juicy. We also drank Mango Lassi, a refreshing yogurt drink with mango. The prices in this restaurant are absolutely fair. We were very satisfied with the quality of the food and the friendly service. We can only recommend this Indian restaurant and would love to come back!

For us the absolute best Inter ever. The atmosphere is great! The dishes are prepared with love in Indian style. Nobody leaves there hungry. Nice boss and relaxed service. Really great value for money. For 2 people it's always around €40 for a starter, drinks and main course until you drop. We continue to come regularly :)

The food here is always very tasty and the price/performance ratio is absolutely right. The service is very nice and attentive and this is one of the Indians where out of a group of 10 no one had any complaints afterward. My colleague from India told me that the cuisine was very good and that he liked it (although it is probably different in India itself but you probably have to travel there to have this experience) We don't live far, so we actually go there often. This Indian is one of the top restaurants in Norderstedt. The service is very accommodating, the food is really delicious and you are even asked beforehand if the child can have a small lolly. Also 3 children's dishes e.g. Fries with nuggets are really tasty and prepared with love. The Indian food was just right for me in terms of spiciness and I like to eat milder food. All in all great. The only mini tip: for my taste it could be a little more lit, but that's complaining on a high level ;-) we, as almost neighbors, will definitely come back.

Mehfil Restaurant offers the best Indian food around. We particularly recommend the Butter Chicken, Paneer Makhani and the Naan Bread. The employees are always very friendly and accommodating. We'd love to come back!

It was actually closed long ago when I arrived from visiting Elphi at around 10:15 p.m. The kitchen was closed and the cook was on his way home. Nevertheless, I was invited to sit down and have a drink at the table where a cheerful team of employees was sitting. A young man disappeared into the kitchen with the words “We can't send a hungry man away” and came back with a hot surprise package that I was able to take up to my hotel room in Frederikspark. I don't know what it was or whether the dish is on the menu, but it was a delicious curry dish with rice and crusty flatbread. The latter was incredibly helpful because I didn't have any cutlery 😅 In the end everything went well and on my next visit I would like to find out whether you can get this during regular opening hours.
