We loved the hospitality of Mr. Mudit Malhotra who was great with his exceptional service! Also, being from India I did not have great expectations but i was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and the closeness with actual Indian taste! Must try: Jhinga curry, garlic Nan and papad! 👌😋

Lunch here was simply amazing! From the starter to the dessert, everything tasted perfect. The selection was varied and there was something to suit every taste. The ingredients were fresh and the dishes were excellently seasoned. I was particularly impressed by the main course - it not only tasted excellent, but was also beautifully presented. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The ambience rounded off the experience. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Namaste is my new favorite restaurant. The service is very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy and has an inner courtyard. and the food is super delicious 😋. The prices are definitely justified and are even lower than in similar restaurants. So, always happy

Really good service and super tasty food. We were there with our children and everyone was very enthusiastic. Indian food the way it should taste.

The food was excellent, the service was nice, although at least one waitress or waiter was missing, so the two service staff sometimes jogged around the restaurant. This is forgivable in this day and age, but the fact that the toilet facilities are so dirty, dirty and run down is no longer acceptable. Three stars because of the good food, otherwise a maximum of one star.

Delicious food and interesting drinks.

This is one of my go to places for Indian cuisine. Ambience is really nice with great service. Background music plays classic old Bollywood songs that I really enjoy. Do try Chicken tikka, butter chicken, daal makhni and chhole bhatura. In dessert, gajar halwa (carrot pudding) does remind me of home.

We were passing through Lübeck and stopped by here spontaneously. The food was very good, the best we have had in Indian restaurants in Germany. The service was also very good and friendly. We would come back at any time.

We can fully recommend this restaurant. The food was very tasty. The service was attentive and friendly. The ambience is very nice. Even without a reservation we got a nice table. We will definitely eat in this restaurant again on our next stay in Lübeck.

We had a prawn briyani which was very good. Asked for spicy and enjoyed the briyani. We are back today to enjoy dal tadka and roti. If u r in Lübeck and miss Indian food. Don't forget to eat at Namaste India

The service staff is always very nice. The food comes quickly and has always been delicious! We sit in Namaste sometimes longer and sometimes shorter. It's always great! We have been visiting there regularly for almost 2 years.

We were here for the first time and had such a delicious meal. Really a tip and we will definitely come back! The second visit in 10/2024 wasn't so great and the food was a bit bland. The taste is still ok, but since we got to know the Indian restaurant Aroma in Zellerfeld, things are worlds apart. In addition, the food was only lukewarm and from the tandoori. It's a shame, hence one star less. There was an additional reduction in service, our table was wiped down while we were still sitting. Touching all of our drinks with a wiping cloth... that's not possible.

The food is super tasty and there is enough to choose from. The staff is friendly and gives everything.

We had dinner here this evening and it was disappointing. The waiter seemed annoyed and sometimes a bit rude. The starters were not served together. While we were still waiting for the naan bread, the pakoras got cold. The chicken in the main course was dry and almost hard. It's a shame, we were looking forward to eating there as there were lots of good reviews.

Were here for the first time today and overall we were rather disappointed. Unfortunately, the starters didn't come at the same time...the pakoras were very dough-heavy and the dips weren't really our thing either. The spicy dip in particular was so chunky that you couldn't dip it at all. Unfortunately, the mint dip was also very thick and not very minty. The chili garlic naan was very tasty but also very dry and the rice also lacked the typical fragrance. In our opinion, there is clearly room for improvement. My main course was good, my wife's (chilli chicken), but unfortunately it lacked any Indian spice. So let's go back to our regular Indian in the future.

Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen. Der Service war schnell und sehr aufmerksam. Doch die Hauptsache, die sehr wohlschmeckenden Speisen (und auch besondere Getränke) haben uns zum „Wiederholungstäter“ werden lassen - 3Tage Lübeck = 3 Tage Namaste. Danke an Euch, bleibt so, wir kommen gern wieder.

I ended up here by chance while passing through. I love Indian food and had the mixed platter. Simply delicious. The chicken was buttery soft, the lentils were super flavorful and the spinach with cheese was delicious. There was a mango liqueur to say goodbye. A perfect dinner for me

authentic Indian cuisine! Requests are taken into account, especially when it comes to the spiciness of the dishes, and warnings are given if chilli should only be used slightly. Even late at night, a small dish is still offered in a friendly manner. Very friendly service, good value for money.

I took my parents to Namaste India for lunch as we were visiting Lübeck on a day trip. We ordered Dal Tadka and Matar Paneer along with rotis and rice. It felt really good having Indian food in Germany after a very long time as all the dishes tasted so close to what we have back in India! Special mention to Mr. Mudit Malhotra for his excellent hospitality and quick service...would definitely recommend everyone wanting to try Indian cuisine...do visit this place!

Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants I've been to in Germany. Very varied, well-seasoned dishes. Portions a bit small, otherwise definitely recommended. At the end we got a liqueur on the house, thank you!

I recently visited this restaurant and had the best Veg Thali and Chole Bhature I've had in a really long time! The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic Indian flavors. Every dish in the Veg Thali was well-prepared, fresh, and perfectly spiced, and the Chole Bhature was a standout. The service was equally impressive. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a great dining experience. Delicious and authentic Indian food. Being an indian I look for real good cuisine which is so not easy to find but during our trip to Lubeck, Namaste India dinning was the best decision. After a long time, I had an amazing food and chai. Highly recommended for super tasty dishes.

Terrific! The (only) waiter literally ran from table to table, remaining very friendly. My meal, a combination of 3 vegetarian dishes with rice, bread and a (very) small dessert, was delicious and completely sufficient to fill me up. Recommended.

Very tasty food. Couldn't get enough. Nan bread, chutneys and chicken karahi. Cocktails at reasonable prices with a great look. At the end there was an Indian “eggnog” 🤣. We'll probably have to come back again.

Judging by the reviews about the toilets... it's the guests who make the place dirty. Yes, my toilet is cleaner at home too, but do you want a nice toilet or really delicious food... If the toilet is dirty, why not give a notice on the spot?

Really good Indian restaurant, I loved all the three vegetarian dishes that we ordered and shared all together. A really nice balance of spices and taste, and they can adapt the spiciness depending on your sensitivity. The tables inside in the open roof area are really quiet and full of light. The service was perfect and really kind. I would definitely come back.

When dining at Namaste we realised that it had been for too many years that we enjoyed the Indian cuisine. What a joy to visit this restaurant! Their mango lassi was a pure delight, the chicken soup sounds simple but had a nice twist due to the herbs they used, and my lamb curry couldn’t be tastier. Mango icecream as a desert completed a very nice dinner at this very good restaurant in the beautiful city of Lübeck. Namaste is worth a visit!

It was my first time really eating Indian food but it tasted very, very good. Above all, the nice “Turkish” native Keller was great, he was nice, helpful, funny and you could have a great chat with him, just give the man 1-2€ more, he deserved it. Were there on August 9, 24 (three of us)
