A very nice Indian restaurant with excellent cuisine. The place was busy – currently, only the downstairs seating is in use. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent and pleasantly mildly spiced. Alcoholic beverages are not currently available, but that doesn't detract from the overall very positive impression. We'll definitely be back!

Last December, I discovered this restaurant by chance and had to eat there again the very next day. I was only in Lübeck for two days!!! Today I chose a lamb dish, and it was just as delicious as last year. Highly recommended.

The tandoori dishes here are delicious. After visiting once, I definitely wanted to go back, and it was just as good! The service was very friendly, and the prices were perfectly reasonable.

The most delicious Indian restaurant I have ever seen!

I've rarely eaten so well. The portions were absolutely sufficient, as you could order as much rice as you wanted at no extra charge. People who have something to complain about here probably can't be pleased anyway. Regards

So far, I've only been to the restaurant. There's little space on the ground floor. There's more seating on the first floor. It's very simply decorated. However, the service is extremely attentive and friendly. The food is delicious, and you can choose the spiciness. The price for lunch is unbeatable. I paid €8.20 for Kashmiri chicken, naan bread, and dips. The mango lassi, fruity and with the right consistency, was also plentiful and reasonably priced. The outdoor area turned out great. Let's start with the positive: Opposite you can buy delicious licorice... :-) Now to the restaurant: I can hardly understand the positive reviews or I explain them by saying that many people seem to have never had a good Indian meal... There were five of us there with one child. Our dishes were not declared to be spicy and yet some of them were left watering... The portions were very small (bowl half full) and we had to reorder the rice several times. The rice had pomegranate seeds, 50% spices and parsley. That was a bit too much. We all felt very nauseous afterwards (burping, stomach ache and flatulence were also part of it). A supposedly vegan dish looked exactly like the non-vegan one and there was definitely ghee in it and to top it all off, a piece of chicken. Probably all the same Basic sauce. In addition to the poor quality, we now ask ourselves how big the lunch portions actually are? Foxgloves?? It was also way too expensive, I think... 15 € for what felt like five bites... We often go out for Indian food, but even one or two snacks were 1000 times better. My son suspects that the reviews are bought. I think it depends more on the area. Such quality would have no chance in Berlin. In my opinion, the restaurant benefits from the location and the fact that it otherwise looks pretty poor... then I'd rather have KFC... and I say that as a vegan... But then you'd better get fries and spend the money on sweets. That puts you in a better mood... I actually like giving good reviews. But I can't think of anything good here.

We often stop by spontaneously and the taste is always great, the staff is super friendly and the portion size is absolutely sufficient.

It is a very nice restaurant that integrates perfectly into an old German townhouse. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The division into different floors is great if you want to eat a little more quietly or with a crowd. Definitely worth another visit.

There is really good food here, presented on a menu in which the two ends of the spiciness scale are labeled “German-spicy” and “Indian-spicy”. The impressions aroused by this were fully fulfilled, very friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere.

A few weeks ago I had dinner at Masala Darba with my colleagues. The food was, as always, very tasty. What I have to note, however, is that card payment is only possible from €20 onwards, at least that's what the waiter told me. Since I had previously looked on the Internet and didn't see any restrictions on the website, this totally surprised me. As a result, I was "forced" to increase the amount to €20 with a tip because I didn't have any cash with me. Surely one of my colleagues could have loaned me money, but that's not the point. If it is stated that I can pay by card, then I expect that too.

I went for a stroll through the city with my wife in Lübeck and we stopped there at around 2 p.m. on Saturday. The food was fantastic, I haven't had such good Indian food in a long time (my dish: honey chili chicken). The service was also very good, we were served in a friendly and attentive manner. Unreserved recommendation!

Lunchtime, service only came after a long wait and after asking with the cards, drinks were brought and the food order didn't come because after about 40 minutes we waited and then we didn't feel like waiting for the order to be taken anymore. .. It's a shame, because the menu was very attractive and the food at the tables next to us looked very tasty... Then, according to the waitress, card payment is only possible from 20 euros, but then she made an exception for 2 drinks...

Found it by chance in a small side street on our first visit to Lübeck! It's great to sit at small tables in the relatively busy pedestrian zone! Friendly service, nice menu with a lot of selection at fair prices! We had Chicken Madras and Chicken Banglor, very tasty! The sauces for the naan were also very tasty! A clear recommendation! Together with 2 beers we came to 41€👍

We had to leave again, as after 20 minutes, we had not been given either drinks or permission to order food, but the few who had been given food seemed to enjoy it, and the food looked delicious. Unfortunately we were not allowed to taste it.

Unfortunately, yesterday we found again that the restaurant has unfortunately gone downhill. The food is still great. No matter what you order. However, there is no dessert on offer, the coffee machine has apparently been broken for months, so you can't even have a cappucino instead of dessert. The tables are set up so that if you have 3 people or more you have to look at the wall. The indirect lighting is still great and the service is really attentive.
