ABSOLUTE favorite restaurant in Eckernförde. Very very very tasty food and nice owners. I/we always enjoy coming here :-)

Delicious but 3 euros too expensive. Tikka 15 instead of 18 would be more appropriate.

A super friendly restaurant! I ate Indian food and it was really delicious. Apart from that, the salad was also super freshly prepared. The newly renovated atmosphere appears modern, fresh and very pleasant. You immediately feel at home here. The portions are more than sufficient. We guarantee that no one will go home hungry here! Particularly noteworthy is the staff. Extremely friendly, attentive and accommodating. This is exactly how you imagine perfect service. I can highly recommend Bombay Hut and will definitely come back!

We were really looking forward to our meal from the Taj Mahal, but unfortunately it wasn't impressive. We ordered chicken tikka masala, two mango lassies and vegetarian starters – veggie pakora and two samosas. The chicken tikka masala was okay, but the vegetarian starters were a disappointment. They were dripping with fat, which not only affected the taste but also caused discomfort and stomach pain. The sauces should be highlighted positively, especially a green, slightly spicy version that really tasted good. The staff deserve great praise - incredibly friendly and attentive in a way you rarely experience. Unfortunately, even the best service is not enough to compensate for the weaknesses in the kitchen. It's a shame, because as the only Indian restaurant in the area we would have liked more love and care with the food. A repeat visit is therefore out of the question for us.

The food we ordered today was also very tasty. Chicken Bhuna, a generous portion that definitely fills you up and some Garlic Naan to round off the Indian feeling with the meal. I can only recommend it if you can/want to get to grips with the variety of spices in Indian cuisine

Wir essen hier gerne dem Mittagstisch. Das team ist nett und das Essen lecker. Insbesondere den mango Lassi und Lamm Jalfrezi kann ich sehr empfehlen.

Das Lokal wird seit Sommer 24 unter dem Namen "Alucha" betrieben und liegt direkt am aufgestauten Ende der Wakenitz - im Sommer mit der Außenfläche ein Traum! Die Einrichtung ist unverändert, die Küche ist mediterran orientiert. Eine Weinkarte gibt es leider nicht; das ist sehr schade, weil es eine gute Auswahl deutscher und italienischer Weine gibt. Die Karte umfaßt 8 Tapas, Pasta, Pizza, ein Paar Hauptgerichte, Nachtische und Ge-tränke. Außer bei den "Datteln mit Schinken" findet man nirgendwo Schweinefleisch - auch nicht bei den Pizzen (z.B. Salami, Schinken). Auch sonst beschränkt sich das Fleischangebot auf 1x Kalbfleisch (Wiener Schnitzel) und 1x Rindfleisch-Streifen (mit Pasta). Unsere Maronen-Suppe war etwas süß und lag später schwer im Magen. Die Kürbis-Curry-Kokos-Suppe war eher ein dicker Brei, schmeckte aber gut. Das Wiener Schnit-zel war hauchdünn und mit 16,90 € relativ preiswert. Dafür war der kaum angemachte Salat bitter. Die Tagliatelle waren sehr weich und nicht al dente, die Garnelen unge-schält, aber immerhin entdarmt. Die Rechnung war unvollständig und fehlerhaft. Insgesamt war der Abend mit über 80 € auch nicht preiswert, obwohl der Wirt wegen unserer Kritik eine Position gestrichen hatte.

One of the Best Indian Restaurant … Beautiful ambience, very friendly staff and amazing food. The best part is that Tandoor has a large variety of Gluten free, lactose free and Vegan food options. Thank you for the tasty and warm experience.
