The food was tasty, but it felt like just sauce with half a handful of vegetables. Simply overpriced for nothing. The drink that arrived was barely carbonated. We asked the waiter about it, and all they said was that the bottle had been re-opened. They didn't want to exchange it, so we had to pay for that drink and a new one. Very poor service and not at all friendly. The atmosphere was too cramped, too loud, too dark. Oh, and the wall at the back where the lighting is right next to the bench hadn't been mopped in a long time. There was a layer of dust and cobwebs. Once, never again!

Always worth a visit. It's good value for money, and we love coming there.

So far, the delivery has worked perfectly for me. It sometimes takes a little longer, but it's always really hot and tastes perfect to me. And I really like Indian food. 🙏🏼

The flavor, freshness, and seasoning were perfectly balanced. I would also like to particularly highlight the very friendly service – our server was super welcoming, always with a smile, and really made the evening enjoyable for us. We even got two shots on the house at the end, which perfectly rounded off the lovely atmosphere. We will definitely be back! Thank you! :)

I visited the Shadu restaurant today. The food was very hot and tasty and the cocktails were very good. I tried the Espresso Martini and the Grilled Plate. They were great. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. I can recommend it. I want to come back.

Unfortunately, I have to give it one star. We ordered from Lieferando, and the stated delivery time was 45 minutes. The food ended up taking twice as long, or 1.5 hours. As a result, the food was only lukewarm at best. The naan bread had the consistency of a rubber tire and didn't taste like much, and the rice tasted musty. The highlight was that we both found hair in our food. What a shame.

My family of five was very satisfied. What can I say? There's something for every taste, and we were completely satisfied and full. We'd love to come back.

If you want Indian dishes this is the place to go definitely you'll not regret. I've been in Kiel recently (6months) already visited 4-5 times. Chicken and lamb dishes are must try. The best thing is that you can tell them to customise your dish according to your tastebuds spice level ❤️

Definitely not going back. It's a real shame what they sold me for takeout today. It tasted good, but it was basically just rice and sauce. On top of that, I waited almost 30 minutes in the store for the food, despite pre-ordering for pickup. Absolutely unacceptable.

It's a bit overrated here. The ambiance suffers from the excessively loud and inappropriate music. It sometimes feels like a bazaar. The food is average, and the portions could be larger. However, the service is very attentive.

Even though they don't have it on the menu now, the chef still made it for us which we appreciated so much! The nice waiter took care of us the whole time. The food was, of course, perfect. Very tasty food. Good quantity with a slight spiciness, but not everyone feels the same way. The restaurant was very busy in the late afternoon. Still got a table without registering. The service was a bit limited due to the large number of guests, but it was there and was served very friendly and quickly. Overall, the tables are very close together, so it's easy to conserve (or have to be tracked down?) by neighbors. We will come back because if you like Indian, this is the right place for you.

We have been ordering from sadhu for years, the food is good (for Kiel, unfortunately no comparison to Hamburg)! Unfortunately, the delivery person has repeatedly become unpleasant towards us because we gave a digital tip when placing the order and the driver supposedly didn't get it. He was pretty cheeky, demanding and aggressive (he would have told us that before!) and unfortunately that's the end of Sadhu as a food delivery person for me. If it is true that the tips (e.g. via Paypal) do not reach the employees, then please change that! I can understand that this causes frustration, but as a working mother who never needs cash except for tips when ordering food, it's just inappropriate to let me complain in the stairwell even though I tip generously!

The food was very good. The people nice, we even got Lasse on the house. Great restaurant to try out in Kiel! PS: You need to order their garlic Naan.

I ordered lamb vindaloo for pickup. The dish was extremely tasty and I have never eaten such juicy and tender lamb in my life. Unfortunately, the dishes that are ordered with the “Indian spiciness” level are unfortunately not close to the original Indian spiciness. Apart from that everything was very good.

Food is delicious and won't break your wallet, some of the staff are a bit rushed so you don't really have peace and quiet. It is better to reserve at busy times.

Here you have to eat quickly and then the bill comes straight away, mass processing... On the menu, salad is declared for every main course, there is a small plate of salad for three people, which everyone can eat together... unbelievable!!!! Toilet door broken, couldn't be locked... The food is okay...we won't come back!!!

I was here for lunch. Very good prices, very good food! I had a spicy dish that was seasoned just right. Before that there was soup and then a chai on the house. I really enjoyed it and I'll be happy to come back next time I'm in Kiel.

I had dinner there with work colleagues. Have pre-ordered the table. The service, all men, spoke little to no German. It's a shame. The food wasn't exactly very hot. Then we were asked if we wanted bread with it, although we didn't quite understand it. Even when we asked again, he couldn't explain it. Actually, the bread is always available at 100%, otherwise we had to pay 3.90 for a touch of it Flatbread that was supposed to taste like garlic but didn't. Unfortunately, we can't recommend this restaurant. It was very busy.

It's a very cool cafe with lots of nice people and good food. The best part was, it was my birthday and we ate there. At the end we got small, delicious drinks and because it was my birthday I got a very special drink with extra raspberries, melon and a small cocktail umbrella. All in all a good shop!
