The food was excellent and the atmosphere was delightful. The staff were exceedingly pleasant. I highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed my time eating paneer jalfrezi and Garlic Naan which was enough for one person. On top of that, they have amazing Mango Lassi which I I enjoyed as well.

The food was really excellent. Unfortunately, we sat a little longer before we were allowed to place our order and no one came up to us during the meal and asked if everything was OK. After eating we asked the staff twice that we would like to pay. Since we had time, this didn't bother us so much, but the service could have been better. Nevertheless, we would come back because the food was convincing.

Very nice place, food at the highest level, we ordered duck curry, lamb curry and chicken curry, we ate it so quickly that we didn’t have time to take a photo. I recommend visiting and enjoying delicious food.

We were there on a Friday evening, it wasn't busy and we didn't have to wait long. The food is tasty, but rather average. We think it's a shame that you have to take the rice and only get the naan extra, so it's a waste of rice that is served but not eaten.

We planned our friend's wedding here, and the atmosphere and preparations were very nice. The food was also authentic Indian, I would highly recommend this place for eating out with your friends/family or even for planning a group event.

The food is always really good! The only drawback is that there are few private tables, you always sit close to the person next to you... the table placement would change a bit. Unfortunately, waiting times are always very long, which is why a star is deducted.

Where do I begin? I decided to go to Sadhu's here with a friend for lunch. Our expectations weren't high as we just wanted to eat quickly and well. Nothing special. The atmosphere was very pleasant. Attention was paid to cleanliness. Since the front door is broken, we had to go through the side entrance so we could get a quick look into the kitchen. Everything there was clean and hygienic. So we sat down and each got a card straight away. The place looks very authentic, with matching Indian decorations and even fresh flowers at every seat. We were served quickly, pleasantly and friendly. A quick look at the menu made us think for a moment, as the price for my favorite dish (Chicken Korma), at €15.90, is slightly higher than what I'm used to at my "regular Indian" in Berlin. Nonetheless, we went there and ordered our food. All in all we were very satisfied up to one point. The point where that changed was when we each got our food. The food was ready very quickly. Unfortunately there was neither the usual naan bread with various sauces nor a small salad as a starter. That was very unusual for the price, after all you always get that at other Indian restaurants that are cheaper. The small pieces of chicken in my bowl seemed like they had been counted out. There were exactly 5 pieces to be exact. Approximately 1cm in diameter each. They were inedible in taste. The chicken pieces tasted kind of old, like they were from the day before and had been reheated in a microwave. The chicken was chewy and chewed like gum. I've never had anything like this in a restaurant. It was the same with my boyfriend, he also said that mine were even worse. So we ate even more rice with the sauce. We also received an extra rice bowl for free. When we were finished and asked for the bill, we were each offered a mango lasso on the house. Meanwhile we were asked if we would like to write a good review. It seemed like we had no other choice now because we were getting a free lassi. The mango lassi was served quickly and tasted really good. As we finished the lassi we were asked again if we had already written a review. We said we would do it later and would like to have the bill now. We were brought the bill. We paid and were asked again to write a review. Yes, that's what I did here. I don't want to badmouth the restaurant at all. We were there for the first time. But our food really wasn't good. I won't go there again. Even though the lassi was really tasty. I cannot recommend Sadhu.

Delicious food in a friendly atmosphere.

We had to wait a bit but that was okay. The ambience leaves a lot to be desired. The starter came relatively quickly and the portion was very good. Instead of the vegetable bag, however, we got potatoes. The food was very tasty and the price-performance ratio is good. The Nanbrot and No. 69 are highly recommended. Service is very nice. Unfortunately there are only two desserts and the one with the balls wasn't really my thing.

Delicious Pakistani mango curry with starter. Well-attended restaurant, but still managed to get a good table for three people without a reservation. The staff does not fully speak German but is service-oriented and always friendly. We will be back definitely!

Unfortunately, we were probably in the restaurant during rush hour. We had to wait a long time for service. Then ordered drinks and waited. Then ordered food and the food was there. The taste also confirmed the impression. Was OK. but no more. Sometimes not quite hot anymore, somehow loveless... Not anymore for now...

Very nice personnel! The food is authentic and tastes great. Delivered on time and responsive to the calls. If you want real Indian food than Sadhu is the right place to go!

Unfortunately there is no time to eat in a relaxed manner (Saturday evening)! Seems like far too little time was planned between reservations. Going to a restaurant is no fun when you're pressed for time (we had 45 minutes). It's a shame because the food was very tasty. I definitely won't eat there anymore.

We expected more. The duck pieces in the sauce were fatty, the skin was wobbly, not that appetizing, the chicken curry was good. Overall, a little bit of everything. What bothered me was the lack of cleanliness.

Hearty Euro-Pakistani/Indian home cooking, well seasoned and delicious. Good selection for vegans too. A bit cramped in some corners inside, but plenty of space outside. Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Prices are reasonable...only the hot cocoa is pricey!!! very overdone! (You don't have to) Otherwise it's definitely worth a repeat visit. Good for Kiel. G.S.

I want to like it. But unfortunately it didn't convince me. First I have to say, Saturday evening, the store was packed. But there was also the first problem: We had reserved, but were still allowed to stand in a long pole in the entrance hallway/staircase for 20 minutes because there were no seats available. This shouldn't actually happen. The hallway isn't exactly inviting either: dingy, dimly lit and broken kitchen equipment lying around. It's not really clear to me why the entrance would be placed like this. Or at least makes it appealing. The corridor into the guest room is also very narrow thanks to a kitchen cupboard. Inside, the guest room looks chic and modern. But also very tight. Respect for the waiters for getting through this. This means that the store gets quite loud when it's full, but you can still have a good conversation. The service wasn't rude, but you couldn't say it was friendly or welcoming either. The order was taken tersely and the food was brought to the table just like that. But he was quick, and so was the kitchen. So quickly that the appetizer came before the drinks - even though the drinks didn't have to wait long. The mango lassi is great, but the homemade iced tea won me over in terms of quantity but the taste. The map has a good size, but is very Pakistani in style. It's small enough that the quality is good, but big enough that everyone can find something. Unfortunately, the food didn't convince me. It wasn't bad, but didn't stand out from the Indian takeaway shop or food truck. The pakora tasted bland and oily, the main courses were aromatic but nothing that I can remember. Rice and a bland salad were served with it. The fact that the dishes didn't even contain a small naan irritated me. It costs extra, and not that little either. And unfortunately I really didn't like it. Dry and poor in taste. A pity. Since neither the rice nor the curry is prepared in any way, it all unfortunately seems very bland and more like a snack bar than a restaurant. If you want an Indian feeling here, you should come with a larger group and share with each other. Which, given the prices, can quickly become expensive. The dishes are individually priced within a fair range. But if you buy the typical side dishes and shared dishes, it quickly becomes really expensive. Especially since even the non-alcoholic drinks are really expensive. We would have liked to finish, but while we were still taking our last bites our food was cleared away because the next guests were waiting. The bill came to the table almost at the same time, the EC device was not at hand. There was also a delicious but at the same time fizzy mango schnapps, and after only 25 minutes we were back at the door. I had never experienced that before either. We then had to find another place for dessert. I thought that was a shame, it could be really nice and I love authentic Indian food. Unfortunately that didn't convince me. A pity.

Food on site was very tasty. Unfortunately we have had very bad experiences with the deliveries. Won't be ordering anymore. Nothing arrives in under 1.5 hours. After a phone call you are assured that the food will be there soon. The next time we call it turns out that the order hasn't arrived. After waiting two hours, we canceled the order because it should have been prepared first. Very poor communication and standard sayings when asked...

The food was good. I was missing some flavor and color in the starters. Same with dips. Apparently there are only 2 types here. That's too bad. Because I know it differently from other restaurants. The service was very nice.

We chose a Pakistani menu, we didn't really know what was coming. Beautifully prepared in many small bowls, starter soup and dessert were also included. For us, exotic and really tasty food. An experience. Very nice service. Food was served quickly. Would love to come back.

The place has an amazing vibe. The food is tasty and economical. The staff is so good and welcoming. I was offered a complimentary tea during my visit as a sign of gesture. Really loved the place. Totally recommend it.

Trafen zu zweit an einem späten Nachmittag hier ein; wenige Tische waren besetzt. Wir bestellten nach einem Tee jeweils ein Gericht. Anschließend baten wir den Kellner um die Dessertkarte; erneut wurde die Speisekarte ausgehändigt; dort war nur ein Dessert aufgeführt, das wir ablehnten und einen weiteren Tee bestellten. Der Tee wurde nicht gebracht, jedoch erschien ein weiterer Mitarbeiter, der uns aufforderte zu zahlen, da "... die 1 1/2 Stunden um seien; diese Zeit würde pro Tisch veranschlagt werden ....". Auf unseren Hinweis, dass dies vor Bestellung nicht mitgeteilt wurde und Reservierungen auf den Tischen ebenfalls nicht sichtbar seien, reichte man wortlos das Kartenlesegerät. Nach Zahlung wurde sehr unfreundlich auf den Beleg und insbesondere auf die 19 % MwSt hingewiesen und dass " ... man sie schließlich zahlen müsse ...". Wir brachen sofort auf (die Gäste am Nebentisch übrigens auch). Nie wieder!!!

Sehr zuvorkommenden Service und leckeres Essen. Haben aufs Haus insgesamt 2 Gläser Sekt und 2 shots bekommen. Wird sicherlich nicht mein letzter Besuch gewesen sein! :)

Gerne wieder! Wunderschöne Atmosphäre, sehr gemütlich durch die warmen Lichter und farbigen Wände. Wir haben hier die gemischten Pakora probiert. Die mit Zwiebeln gefüllten waren unser Favorit! Dazu gab es Mango-Lassi. Und als Nachtisch einen leckeren Chai-Tee ;) Der Service war lieb, lustig und zuvorkommend. Danke für die tolle Erfahrung und bis zum nächsten Mal! :) LG Ann

Wirklich ein tolles Restaurant. Das Essen ist einfach super lecker-total toll gewürzt, die Bedienung ist extrem freundlich und das Ambiente ist gemütlich. Danke an das Sadhu-Team für einen hammer Abend! Gerne immer wieder!

Service muss etwas genauer schauen, ob Getränke leer sind und mal nachfragen. Das Essen könnte heißer sein (es kühlt in den gebrachten schalen sehr schnell ab), aber geschmacklich sehr gut.

Essen ist gut, vermutlich nicht on Point, da ich von Indisch statt Pakistanisch ausgegangen bin. Es war ein gelungener Abend, jedoch war der Laden etwas zu voll, so wurde man teils ignoriert, saß mit noch nicht ganz fertigen anderen Gästen zusammen, etwas gedrängt und recht laut. Somit waren Gespräche kaum möglich oder sehr laut. Dass der Einlass nun über den Personaleingang erfolgt ist auch nicht sofort zu erkennen. Für Gruppen nur bedingt zu empfehlen, zu Zweit, nur wenn Lautstärke nicht stört. Wer lieber zum Inder möchte, da kenn ich 2 in Kiel, die mindestens mithalten können.

Ich kann indisches Essen kaum bewerten da ich mich nicgt wirklich auskenne. Ich hatte die Vorspeise für 2 Personen und Chickem Korma. Beides war lecker. Das Essen kam schnell und war auch gut von den Portionen her. Der Tisch für 4 Personen ist etwas eng aber ansonsten alles gut. Preislich war es auch okay.

Sadhu er et besøg værd, hvis du er på udkig efter indisk mad i Kiel. Menukortet tilbyder de klassiske indiske retter - ingen overraskelse her. Vinkortet er også OK, vi fik en hvid tysk bourgogne til meget få penge som akkompagnement til vores valgte retter med hhv. lam og kylling. Lækre naanbrød, god betjening og fine priser - alt i alt et besøg værd, hvis du er lækkersulten efter indisk mad.

An manchen Tagen läuft es ... Berg ab und rückwärts .. aber es läuft. Service eine 3 -, da man sich an der Bar lieber versteckt hat, als mal zu schauen, ob der Gast etwas möchte. Bedauerlicherweise hatte ich mehrfach eine kleine Beanstandung .. Reis für drei Personen kalt bereit gestellt, Naan müsste nachgeorsert werden, da nicht mit den anderen Speisen zum Tisch kam. Meine Speise leider kalt und ohne jegliche Schärfe, wie zuvor geordert ... Und ohne jegliche Gewürze (62). Essen beanstandet, wurde neu gebracht, jedoch nur aufgewärmt und wieder ohne Geschmack. Später bei der Rechnung bestand man auf das Gericht, es in Rechnung zu stellen, obwohl nicht, bzw drei Bisse davon hatte. Der wirklich bemühte Service Mitarbeiter teilte mir mit, ansonsten müsse er dafür aufkommen. Der Koch hatte gesagt, er habe alles richtig gemacht. . .. leider nein, bin ein halb Inder und das war nichts. Wie man mit einer Kundin Reklamation umgeht, einfach ohne Worte. Die anderen beiden Gerichte warm und sehr schmackhaft. Zuvor hatte man nur zwei Mango Lassi gebracht, obwohl drei bestellt. Und wenn man dann noch sein eigenes Gericht indisch scharf bestellt, sollte es nicht komplett mild und ohne jegliche Gewürze kommen. Wie man generell mit Kundenbeschwerden umgeht, geht wirklich gar nicht, daher nicht zu empfehlen, sorry

Deres pakora er nogenlunde, men deres kylling er virkelig ringe. Vi fik butterchicken og korma. Begge dele smagte virkelig gennemtrængende af kardemomme. Jeg kan godt lide kardemomme, men det var simpelhen så meget, at det blev uspiseligt. Herudover var kyllingen sej.
