In short, Indian super delicious!

Not recommended – bad experience Unfortunately, our visit to this Indian restaurant was a disappointment. At first it was incredibly cold in the restaurant, which made the stay extremely uncomfortable. The food took forever and the portions were small. The taste was acceptable, but the presentation left a lot to be desired - the food just didn't look appetizing. Overall, the atmosphere was so unpleasant that we just wanted to leave quickly. The language barriers were also problematic - there was hardly any German spoken, which should be a given in a restaurant in Germany. Not everyone speaks English and communication was difficult. Unfortunately the worst Indian food I've ever had. I definitely won't be coming back.

A cozy atmosphere, very friendly and cheerful staff and high quality food. It is reflected in the price. Recommended!

The food was super tasty and is absolutely recommended. Definitely worth it and you should try it when you are in HH. We were there with a larger group and I found it a bit annoying that you were called very often in advance to confirm the reservation (probably due to bad experience, which is a shame). I also found it a bit annoying that we reserved a table at 6 p.m. and the reservation only lasted until 8 p.m., which meant you couldn't eat/drink and enjoy the evening undisturbed and had to constantly look at the clock.

The food, service and ambience are just right here. For me it is the better choice compared to SVAAdish.

Food tasty but quite expensive. The service never once asked if we needed anything else. Nor was anyone asked whether it was tasty. I ordered very spicy and it was 0 spicy. The service had a guest who was constantly on the phone just making a phone call.

Most boring Indian food I've ever eaten, no choice between mild or spicy, so the food feels unseasoned German, no Indian flavor noticeable, some delivery services can do that better.

I lived in England for 10 years and if there's one thing you should know about England, we have a very large selection of Indian cuisine. No matter whether as a fine fine dining experience or as a takeout. The food cooked at Shikara blows me away every time (lamb/chicken biryani - 10/10). For the price there really isn't anything better. Go there if you're in the mood for great and authentic Indian food, you won't regret it :)

I had 4/5 rice and 1/5 curry (2 pieces of chicken) in my box. Completely overpriced at 8 euros.
