Great food, so let’s start with that. We chose the restaurant online based on the good reviews and were not disappointed. The staff was super nice and accommodating and the food didn't take long to arrive. We ordered various starters and main courses and everything was great. The portions were big enough and really not expensive. What didn't work? Everything was great except the atmosphere. They could do a little bit with it as it doesn't really make a cozy impression. But it's definitely worth eating there once.

A really delicious freshly cooked meal prepared with a lot of love. You can also combine dishes or order a different sauce. My son loves it here, very child-friendly staff. We always enjoy coming here. I can only warmly recommend it 😊💖

The restaurant impresses with fantastic food and an extremely friendly host. You feel extremely comfortable and the food is exceptionally delicious. Even the mango lassi is freshly mixed and lovingly prepared. The ambience is very bright and rather less cozy, but that doesn't detract from a nice evening. I can only recommend it and would love to come back! Yummy :)

After reading many reviews of different Indian Restaurants we decided to try Taj Mahal which was fairly close from our hotel. After walking a bit from the bus stop we found it and went inside, two tables were occupied already. We seated and got attention of the gentleman who took care of our order and ensured we are given authentic Indian flavour. Daal Tadka, Paneer Makhani came with two portions of fluffy rice and we ordered a butter naan where butter was dripping (yummy). We also ordered Nimbu Panni, Mango Lassi and Masala Lassi. All had flavour and good taste. We can recommend this place for authentic Indian Food.

Actually mostly only known from Lieferando & Co. A nice restaurant, small outdoor area, clean, well-kept and pleasant inside. You won't find any exaggerated Indian chichi, wooden elephants or plastic lamps. Extremely friendly and service-oriented staff. The food is delicious, the dips are fresh and, if desired, spicy. The Mango Lassie was also tasty. So it's worth eating on site. Aloo Tikki are very tasty. Lamb or chicken bhuna too.

Food was really delicious and more than enough in quantity. We order Chicken tikka masala, Saag Chicken and Naan with Mango lassi. Chicken was soft and tender and Naan was soft as ordered. I must also appreciate their service too. Would definitely go their again.

Nice little Indian restaurant. Was there on a Sunday evening in April, the place was empty around 6 p.m., later two more guests came. Value for money completely ok. Ate Chicken Tikka Massala, tasted pretty average. Would choose a different dish or choose a different restaurant next time.

Had my dinner here and totally enjoyed my chicken tikka with garlic naan. We also tried the biryani and fried rice. Both were delicious and nice. Highly recommended. Tried their food UberEat as well.

It is very nice restaurant close to Altona. The restaurant has a calming vibe because of its smooth music. I ordered chai and dal makhani. Both were delicious. If you visit during weekdays for lunch you might can take a thali which has vegetarian along with Non vegetarian options. The owner of the restaurant was very nice and kind.

I went for dinner and the food was amazing. I ordered the chicken tikka tandoori with Mangolassi as a drink. The chicken was cooked nicely and tender. The food was served warm and the Mangolassi was cool to the touch. I would definitely recommend eating here, especially dining in. The staff were also very friendly and nice.

We arrived quite late - just before closing time - but we were still warmly welcomed. In fact, we were the only guests due to the time, the boss served us wonderfully and we ate really deliciously. We'll be back! Also a great address if you then attend an event in the Kulturkirche.

We visited this restaurant on a Wednesday evening as a family (4 people, 1 toddler). Since it was still early, the restaurant was still empty. We received a very friendly welcome, didn't have to wait long for our food and we all really enjoyed it! Absolute recommendation from us 😊

Not so expensive, clean and hygenic place, friendly staff. However neighbourhood is not so attractive where the restaurant is.

I only ordered here, I can't comment on the food there. Delivery time was good. Unfortunately the samosas were quite dry. The makhani sauce was delicious, but the chicken in it had a strange (unpleasant) taste. Unfortunately, the Garlic Naan was also weak in taste, not particularly airy, not crispy at all and relatively chewy. It must be expressly stated that this could be due to the delivery. Well, I won't order here again, but maybe I'll give the restaurant another chance at some point.

Very good food, tasty and still inexpensive even after the VAT increase. All vegetarian dishes (and more) can be had as a lunch menu for €9.90, or a plate with three dishes, rice and bread for €10.90. I can warmly recommend it!

The food was very good, including the Bathura bread. It's not on the menu, but you can get it if you ask.

I ordered food with Uber eat at Taj Mahal Schanze ... Garlic nan was good . Chicken Tikka Tandoori portion was very good , but the chicken was undercooked . tase was average.

Food is not at all authentic Indian. I tried taj mahal vegetarian and it’s something different. I would suggest hotel owners to improve the taste of food by using actual Indian spices.
