Nous étions deux : pour l’entrée nous avons pris une soupe de dahl et l’autre personne une soupe au poulet : en fait les deux soupes étaient identiques au goût et à la couleur sauf que dans une il y avait du poulet. Nous leur avons gentiment signalé mais ils nous ont dit que c’était normal!!! Pour le plat principal curry de crevettes : en fait il n’y avait que deux crevettes et surtout des pommes de terre Le service était très lent et peu souriant Au moment de payer l’addition le vin avait un prix différent de celui indiqué sur le menu Un restaurant indien à éviter

No recommendation. We fell for the dubious reviews here. It started with a call for a reservation for 6 people. The staff on the phone doesn't speak German, only English. On site, the restaurant is empty. Atmosphere uncomfortable, unkempt. A table for 6 was not ready. Instead, when we were there, a 4-seater table with 2 extra chairs was made into a 6-seater table. Instead of putting in a table for two, we had to sit squashed at the table for four. The service only speaks English. There was only 1 map in German. The staff (?) have small children running around and bothering you. This didn't happen once, but multiple times. Preparation time was okay. The taste of the food was edible, but not really tasty. Afterwards we had to get up and take care of the bill, although one would think that if the restaurant was empty, table service wouldn't be a problem. The process took some time. That was an experience in itself. I wouldn't have thought it possible that there were shops like this in the middle of the city center.

The restaurant doesn't seem clean. The menu has been patched up several times and is sticky. The taste of the food was okay, but mediocre and unfortunately we couldn't understand the 4.6 stars on Google. Card payment was not possible and we waited some time for our order to be taken.

The food here was delicious and the owner was very nice. Near the main train station. You have to go here if you want some Indian food or if you are new to Hamburg.

Food: The curries were not that fresh. Dal makani was salty, and panner Butter Masala was very spicy. Tandoori roti and Naan tastes and looks the same. Service: Lacks experience. Atmosphere: The restaurant wasn't that clean. I would advise the restaurant to work around their issues or else people will stop going to restaurant.

Clean and modern restaurant serving pretty good Indian curries, briyanis and naans, just the perfect place for dinners. Loved the chicken masala and chicken masala , they served everything according to our taste and without spices. Very good service with courtesy and prices were in line for this part of Europe.

The food was overpriced, and portions were small. One of the servers tried to upsell me. I'm a visitor, so I don't know what prices should be, but later when I looked at a nearby Indian restaurant, prices across the board were cheaper. There's even a 1.50 difference in the price of Coke. Food came quickly and tasted okay but not the best.

Great taste. I have been to Hamburg for short trip and I ate three meals and they all had great taste . The food taste way better than the pictures and reminds of typical indian flavor. The food was not spicy and made to leave flavor in the mouth but not feel chilli. Flavors are present same as that of North indian and make you crave for more I had veg thali , cholle bhatoore , chana kulcha ..couple of lassi. In case you wondering how is the gulabjamun ...I can tell it is sweet soft fresh and at the right temperature.

By far the worst Indian we've been to. Hygiene seems to be a foreign word here. We had to clean the table ourselves. The insects in the food were the highlight. The shop should be closed.

It was perfectly fine Indian food, but that really is something that should never be said. The flavor and heat were adequate, but nothing special and there were assumptions made about how spicy we might have wanted it by the wait staff that were wrong. This made it even more...generic and dull. The service was problematic, in that it was never around and got details wrong. Ironically, it was what was ordered in German that came out wrong...also, the garlic naan was just hard and bland. I've never before been like you know what, I don't need naan

I had been to hotel based on past reviews available in Google. We have ordered the butter Naan with paneer Tikka masala and Royal punjab chicken masala. Naan were become like Papad(very hard) after 3 to 5 mins. Curry was not so tasty like Indian spices( I smell like it's completely prepared with sauce) and quantity of curry is very less.

It was very dirty, I cleaned the table myself. The white cloth was black behind. The food was of inferior taste. It's hard to understand the good reviews.

The food is really nice and tasty. 5 stars for that. I don’t find the real authentic indian taste in restaurants in Germany but this restaurant has it! The service is nice. We tried chicken tikka masala, garlic naan and aaloo parathaa. We were informed about portion sizes of each beforehand, so I really appreciate the honesty. Btw, portion sizes are good comparatively. Fast service ans friendly staff. Highly recommended!

First , the review is very deceiving here bcuz as an Indian , if you go there you expect it to be at least good food, we ordered masala papad which doesn't had a taste, the naan was major turn off as they just added ginger garlic paste on naan for garlic butter naan, unfortunately the chicken korma and paneer Tikka masala was also okay , I have had much better taste. Sorry, but you 😞 disappointed me guys , well in future try to improve the food quality.

Worst service ever I have found in Hamburg. The price in Menu is different but in bill they are charging a lot. When I asked to revise the price, they said it’s new price in our computer and new menu will arrive soon. that’s not acceptable. Food quality and quantity is not according to the usual price.

Really need and nice for a short break of German style food. Super authentic Indian food and kind service. They recommend the spicy level on your experience.

What a bad tent. If you order vegan food, you will still receive food that is not vegan after indicating 3 times. Dishes are then removed but not replaced. The mango chutney is a red sauce that they say is a mango chutney... very special. Bad service, too high price and also bad food. Never had such a bad meal at an Indian restaurant.
