If you're looking for delicious flavors and a decent portion, this is the place for you! The staff is very friendly and happy to answer any questions you may have. I recommend the mango lassi; it's fruity and mild. We had the chicken tikka masala and chicken jalfrezi from the classic Indian kitchen. The prices are reasonable, as the preparation is so lovingly done. I immediately ordered the tikka masala again to go... Takeaway orders are also available.

I ordered food on July 12. The naan was raw, not just undercooked, but actually doughy. Whoever made it clearly has no business in a kitchen. Serving that to customers shows zero attention or care. Completely unacceptable.

I do not recommend it at all. It is very, very expensive, and you have to look for the meal under a microscope to find it on the plate. I ordered meat biryani, unfortunately the rice came without meat. This is shameful. A meal that costs approximately 25 euros with 3 grams of meat. How about biryani with zucchini and green beans? Is this really an Indian restaurant or something like a joke? What about the chicken masala? May your home be ruined. You bring the food in a bowl of water. You should have taken my money and sent me a picture of the food via WhatsApp. It was much better than my bad experience with you.

Everything is top-notch, very good quality, friendly staff, and something different! I'll be honest, it could be a bit cheaper, and if you want to eat your fill, this is the wrong place, but it's still worth a visit.

I went there and had the lunch menu with various chicken curries. It was delicious, but my friend and I, who ate the same thing, both had the worst stomach aches and cramps of our lives! You can imagine the rest... We spent the whole night and the whole morning on the toilet. Thanks for the delicious food and the really uncool surprise afterwards. Sorry, but I'll never be back, which is a real shame, because it was honestly delicious :(

The food is truly delicious. No question about it. But I don't give it five stars for the following reasons: 1. We reserved a table for 6 p.m. over the phone. This was confirmed without a time limit. However, when we arrived, we were immediately informed that we would have to leave after 90 minutes. This was completely unnecessary, as the restaurant was only about half full at 7:45 p.m. 2. The dessert, with the homemade semolina balls, is far too expensive at €7.90. It's just a small scoop of vanilla ice cream with two even smaller semolina balls. This is disproportionate.

Super delicious. We had the mixed appetizer platter and the curry korma with various naan.

I feel like the Winterhude location is much better, that branch is literally 10/10 but this branch kinda smelled like cooking oil and had a lot of flies around. The staff are absolutely friendly and the service is perfect but also the food at Winterhude is a bit better, specially the meat in the appetizer was a bit dry here. The surprise drinks were pretty strong though, which is amazing, it would be great if they were offered at Winterhude as well. Overall a nice experience but we preferred the other location better.

I love this place, Gopal my server was such a great guy. I’m traveling on business and it’s a little scary not speaking the local language, and he was able to help me and the food was so good!! the Bartender also was very nice and professional, but I didn't get his name. I highly recommend this place.

The food was heavenly delicious 👌 We ordered a lamb Thali and a Tandoori wraps+Paneer Tikaa, and a Gulab jamun as dessert I was disappointed to see that there is only one gulab jamun in the serving 🥲 but the taste of all the dishes were great anyway.

Svaadish - that sounds like a promise of good Indian cuisine. And that's it: authentic, stylish and in a really great ambience, the makers of the only really good Indian in Hamburg serve what the guests like most. Solid curries, delicious papadums, and steaming pakoras. Plus a Kingfisher beer or homemade lemonade. Things can't get any better in this life, which is why this is our absolute favorite with the kids. The prices are okay considering that everything is freshly prepared and apparently only the best ingredients are used. The Indian classics, Butter Chicken and Chicken Tika Masala are particularly recommended. But the secret is the burgers with lamb - an absolute umami hit. We will come back many times.

You can get really tasty Indian food here. The food is super tasty and freshly prepared. The portions are completely sufficient. The atmosphere is modern but still cozy, you can have a good conversation. The service is also very nice and attentive. We'd love to come back.

A chance visit when I met up with an old friend. The furnishings are simply modern, given the style, I wouldn't have expected this kitchen to be there. It gets a bit noisy when tables and chairs are moved for reservations. The staff was friendly and answered questions well. I only ordered vegan dishes, which were really delicious. Both the starters and the main course. The spiciness is very mild, since I like spicy food, it could have had a bit more of a kick. So far I have only visited this location, but I was positively impressed and will dine there again.

Very, very friendly service, always with a smile. There were four of us dining, and the starters and main courses were all delicious. Fluffy naan, spicy chicken tikka, grilled paneer—all highly recommended.

The food, Ambience and the Kellner Gopal

I was at SVAAdish at lunchtime and tried out the lunch menu. I chose the Indian chicken wrap and I wasn't disappointed - the food was tasty and flavorful. The price-performance ratio was fair: €8.90 for the dish is absolutely reasonable. The service was friendly and attentive, so I felt completely at home. Overall, a clear recommendation for anyone who wants Indian food during their lunch break!

We ate here with a few colleagues. The restaurant is nicely decorated and cozy, but the restaurant smelled completely of food. We ordered, the service was nice and friendly, but unfortunately I have to say that we didn't really like the food, the only point is the appearance and the fact that the food was hot. The kitchen staff filled the salad into the bowls without gloves and did other work at the same time, so gloves would be recommended for things that you don't heat up again. Otherwise the prices are rather high. I had a dish with selected chicken breast in which there were just 5 pieces of meat when it came up. The lassie was way too sweet. When you went downstairs to the toilets it started to smell very strange and musty

One of the best tasting Indian dishes in Hamburg. Amazing hospitality and great customer service. The food is served quickly and tasty. Must try: Chicken 65 and Aloo papri chaats. A highly recommended place if you are in the area.

Food was good taste was fine. Not according to indian or Pakistani taste. However according to Germany it is fine. Samosa was very tasty but expensive. Overall food was good however bit expansive. I like the atmosphere and service was also good.

Very tasty food, the restaurant is probably a former bank by the toilets there is a powerful safe door. The service sometimes only speaks English, I have no problem with that...

We were at timeout next door Döneressem and wanted to show our few colleagues (Albanians, Russians and Ghanaians) what mango lassie tastes like and then we went to svaadish and we found it very tasty and we as Indians were also surprised because that light note of cardamom was soooooo It was delicious and it was a good end to our meeting but unfortunately we were no longer hungry for anything to eat, even though the chole Bhature and the dahi bhalle smiled at us on the menu :)

We ate at this restaurant today for my fiancée's birthday. Not only was the food excellent and the birthday was honored with music and a small birthday cake (chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream, very tasty) - the service was extremely friendly, fast, attentive and warm. My Indian fiancée and her friends were not used to the fact that "typical German" service staff could leave such a hospitable impression, but Richard taught them otherwise and they were thrilled. Dear Richard, thank you very much for your great manner and competent service. You absolutely upgraded the birthday. Dear management of these beautiful restaurants, keep this employee at all costs.

We were there spontaneously on Friday and got a table straight away. The restaurant is nicely decorated. Unfortunately, the tables are very close together and the background noise is therefore a bit loud. The food was delicious and authentic Indian cuisine. Prices are fair.

Cooking Indian food well with balanced spices is paramount for flavor and enjoyment. This restaurant hits a jackpot in all fronts . The ambience is very comfortable and spacious . The staff are amazingly service minded and know their food, restaurant and customer so well. What a refreshing delight to visit a modern Indian restaurant.

We were there with 6 people. Unfortunately it took a while until someone served us, but the food came very quickly and the service was also very nice and friendly. The food is super delicious and there is something for everyone with the Vegie or Vegan Corner. I had a veggie dish Malai Kofta. Delicious.

New review 10.10.2024- I was at the restaurant for the second time with some friends and family and this time restaurant’s service was 3rd class, food was not so good either. Even though, it was not very crowded at dinner due to weekday, the staff behaviour was very strange as they were totally inattentive. I had to go to counter to ask someone to come and take the first order. Main dishes (Chana Masala and Paneer Tikka Masala) were sweet as it could be! These are Indian cuisines and I don’t understand why they cannot maintain a little authenticity in food taste? Garlic Nan and Tandoori Breads were totally cold and when I asked about it, staff was giving all kind of senseless excuses. No staff was interested enough to take used utensils or follow up for anything else. Well overall, it was very bad and embarrassing experience because I had given very high hopes about good food and service and I found him very disappointed due to these things. Old review- I was there with family and friends from different nationalities and we all loved the food, service and vibe in the restaurant very much. Taste of food is very authentic.

If you want to have a taste of India, I recommend you visit this lovely restaurant - Svaadish, Hoheluft Hamburg. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Svaadish and I must say it was an exceptional experience! The food was incredibly delicious, each dish bursting with authentic flavors and perfectly balanced spices. The ambience was warm and inviting, making it suitable for both a casual meal and a special occasion. However, what really stood out was the excellent service. The staff were attentive, friendly and went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our meal in every way. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left we felt really welcome and well looked after.

The food was delicious, but it came suspiciously quickly and could have been seasoned more interestingly for my taste. The coriander-mint chutney barely tasted like mint and didn't taste like coriander either. The paneer was tasty and the masala was also ok, although there are Indian restaurants in Hamburg that I find better.
