I visited this restaurant today with my family. At first was a bit skeptical about the food and service but to my surprise both were outstanding. Since we speak very little German the lady who was serving us was very kind and helpful. The food was awesome and I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We were at Meteora last week. We would receive a very friendly welcome and be looked after in a friendly manner throughout. The meals were very tasty. The appetizer platters are highly recommended and the Metaxa sauce is delicious. We welcomed and ended with delicious ouzo. We'd love to come back.

For all lovers of truly authentic Greek cuisine, it is the absolute place to be. Please remember to reserve in advance as in order to maintain the quality at the highest level, only a limited number of tables are allocated per day. You will be rewarded with a culinary journey through Greece 'like a Greek mom would cook it herself'. I was here as part of a birthday party and would like to thank you again for the cozy evening in a beautiful atmosphere and the great, warm service. We'd love to come back again. I thought the food tasted very good, like before - hadn't been there for a long time. For those who are undecided like me, I can highly recommend the mixed starter plate with eggplant, feta cheese, tzatziki, etc. The side salad with the gyros was also fresh and quickly gone. I find the portion size to be quite large, so bring your appetite or pack the rest and eat it the day after, like we did ;)

★★★★★ - Simply great! We went to Anna's Tavern for the first time yesterday and absolutely loved it! A small, cozy restaurant with a great ambience and a super friendly landlady who gave us a warm welcome. The menu offers a great selection of Greek specialties. I had souvlaki and gyros, my girlfriend only had gyros - the food was incredibly tasty, the portions were just right and everything came super quickly. The tzatziki in particular was a highlight – lots of it and perfectly seasoned! The fries were crispy and golden, just as they should be. There was also a small but delicious Greek salad and an ouzo on the house. An all-round perfect evening – we’ll definitely be happy to come back! Absolute recommendation!

Although the food was overly salty, we were immediately compensated with more than edible food. Otherwise the food is very good, the service is always friendly and competent.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is reminiscent of Greece. The flavors are wonderful. We'll be back soon

The food and the service were ok, not so special as I thought and a bit expensive... The gyros and the salad were normal and without salt. I can only give 3 stars because the only thing I would like to try again was the Greek cheese bc it was delicious. I will give it another opportunity on another day because, as a cook, I know there could be some mistakes and perhaps change my review, but the first time was not something I will remember...
