Freundliches kleines Lokal mit Sehr freundlichem Personal und Ein toller Chef

Wenn man für 3 Personen Mezze bestellt und 45 Euro zahlt sollte zumindest das Fladenbrot dabei sein. Auch die Menge der verschiedene Vorspeisen war mehr als übersichtlich Aber 6 Euro für 2 Mini Fladenbrote ist unverschämt.

Ein schönes kleines Restaurant mit sehr gutem Service und noch besserem Essen. Wir sind hochzufrieden und kommen gern wieder!

Das Essen war sehr gut und ich würde wieder kommen. Der Service war auch eingangsfrei. Sowie auch für Vegetarier gibt es eine gute Auswahl an verschiedenen Speisen. Zum Nachtisch gibt es einen guten Schnaps aufs Haus, wenn man möchte. Es war ein sehr schöner und guter Aufenthalt in der Kalimera Taverna und kann es jedem weiterempfehlen.

Essen hervorragend - hatte den Grillteller. Super! Auch der Service war immer aufmerksam. Tolles Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Sofort wieder! 😊

Wir Kolleginnen treffen uns seit einigen Jahren und kommen gerne aufgrund der netten Atmosphäre und des guten Essens. Wir haben in dieser Zeit viele verschiedene - aber immer seeehr nette- Bedienungen, aber leider auch mittlerweile mehrere Preiserhöhung und Portionsverkleinerungen erlebt.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Besuch in der Kalimera Taverna! Das griechische Essen war ausgesprochen lecker und frisch zubereitet. Besonders positiv ist uns die Aufmerksamkeit des Personals aufgefallen: Für unser Kleinkind wurden sofort Stifte und ein Malblock bereitgestellt – eine kleine Geste mit großer Wirkung. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Abend in angenehmer Atmosphäre. Können wir herzlichst weiterempfehlen!

Der beste Grieche in der Umgebung. Die Mezedes sind hervorragend. Reservierung ist klar empfohlen. Ist auch mal unter der Woche komplett ausgebucht.

Ein gemütliches Restaurant mit sehr netten Personal. Man kann Drinnen oder Draußen sitzen. Große Auswahl an Speisen. Einziger Kritikpunkt, man kann nur bar bezahlen.

Das Lokal versprüht einen authentischen Tavernen-Flair. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Alle Gerichte waren super lecker und authentisch. Die Tomatenbällchen, Das Sesam-panierte Hähnchen, die Weinbergblätter-Röllchen waren für uns besonders gut. Auch das Fleisch (Schweinefleisch-Spieße und Bifteki) war sehr gut. Der griechische, trockene Weißwein war ebenfalls richtig gut.

Four of us showed up without a reservation, and the place was packed. They asked us to come back in 30 minutes and say they'd do their best to get us a table, and so we did. Very varied Greek menu, excellent value for money. Generous and carefully prepared dishes, even our kids loved them. I absolutely recommend it!

At Kalimera, you can enjoy either Greek tapas or traditional dishes. We had a mix of both. Everything tasted good and the portions were generous. The value for money is good!

We discovered this nice restaurant while attending the Old Town Festival in KF. Perhaps the staff were in a bad mood and overwhelmed due to the crowds that day. In any case, the food wasn't particularly special. Not a single piece of white bread with the grilled pepperoni, baked eggplant with a strange tomato sauce (two spoonfuls of tzatziki would have been much better), and two chicken suvlakis that had no bite and not only had a very strange mouthfeel, but tasted of absolutely nothing—my guess: convenience-style processed meat. Therefore, we wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Eight of us came here for dinner. The start was a bit bumpy; due to a communication problem with the reservation, we were expected at 11:30 a.m. instead of 5:30 p.m. - so we only managed to get a slot until 7:30 p.m. Nevertheless, it would be a very nice evening, the mezze are all really good, everything is homemade, not "out of the bucket" from the wholesale market as is often the case with Greeks. The absolute highlight were the desserts, an unexpected surprise at the end. You sit comfortably in the small dining room and the service is very friendly. The Kalimera is recommended, really something special!

Unfortunately disappointing, we ordered gyros/fries + coleslaw and meatballs/tomato rice, but gyros is not crispy, just looks warmed up or half fried..?? out, maybe it's sliced ​​meat? Fries are soft and boring. My meatballs are rubbery and neither tender nor fresh.. Salads, very very very salty, chef in love? A little piece of Greece in the middle of Kaufbeuren. The restaurant is small, quaint and exudes an authentic atmosphere - you really feel like you're on vacation. The food is delicious - especially the many different starters - and the staff is very nice.

We had a very tasty meal here. It's best to reserve a table here. We were lucky that we got a table. Of course we didn't have a reservation. The staff is very friendly, I just found the waiting time until we could order the drinks and food a little too long. Otherwise everything was great. Very nice atmosphere, the sayings and pictures on the walls are very interesting.

The tavern is light years away from other Greek-style “food restaurants” in Germany. Here you can find out what culinary art means. In every respect and definitely recommended! I would like to thank the boss for spontaneously giving me a table!

Greece in Bavaria 😀 If you want to spend a few nice hours in a tavern with really good food, this is the place for you. Unfortunately, ordering a table usually doesn't work.

Das Kalimera ist ein Volltreffer für Genießer... ich war innerhalb von nur drei Tagen gleich zwei Mal dort und es war beide Male ausgezeichnet. Der Service ist sehr nett und sehr um seine Gäste bemüht, das Essen ist sehr lecker, kam zügig, ist heiß und zu recht: ohne Reservierung keine Chance! Es gibt Plätze im Freien auf der Ludwigstrasse, es gibt einen kleinen Gastraum - das macht es drin sehr gemütlich. Man kann sehr gut bei der gemischten Vorspeisenplatte in Ruhe über Stunden schlemmen, das eine und auch das andere nachbestellen, alles probieren und wunderbar satt werden - mit und ohne Knoblauch. Dazu empfehle ich den griechischen Weißwein - sehr leicht und süffig; oder auch das griechische Bier... wenn man schon Spezialitäten von Kreta isst, warum nicht auch griechische Getränke dazu? Zum Abschluss einen Mokka - ein rundherum gelungener Abend. Es ist eine wunderbare Bereicherung für Kaufbeuren! Kaufbeuren, Du hast sehr viel Glück gehabt!

Only recommended! Very, very tasty, nice to sit, friendly waitresses, very fast service! The tzatziki and pita bread are particularly recommended! We'll be back! Tip: It's better to make a reservation, especially if the weather is bad, as there is a lot going on and if it rains, there are logically no outdoor spaces.

At first glance it looked good (as can be seen in many photos) but first of all it was just a very simple coleslaw (not even an olive or anything like that on it), the fries were extremely greasy in my opinion (the fat literally oozed out when you eat them). use the fork), the meat was OK,... You had to wait for the bill (asked 3 times) even though it was empty and then no card payment,... The only plus point was the ambience... But unfortunately you won't get enough of it...

A little Greece vacation in the Allgäu. We have eaten there several times and taken a little break from everyday stress. Excellent small restaurant with a nice ambience and good service. Never eaten such authentic Greek food outside of Greece. The mezedes are particularly worth mentioning, as they allow you to taste the entire variety of Greek (Cretan) cuisine in small portions. Everything was prepared to perfection and of excellent quality. Definitely stands out from the typical run-of-the-mill Greek next door! There are not many places, so a reservation is advantageous.

The food is great! Unfortunately, like everything in recent years, it has just become more expensive. Things like pita and tzatziki should actually be kept within limits as the production costs shouldn't be too high. Otherwise you really can't complain 😉

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. All of our little one's wishes were taken into account, even the color of the plate was pink to match her outfit. Eigentlich sollte ich hier nicht so gut bewerten, da wir sonst Probleme haben einen Platz zu bekommen. Aber dann wäre es nicht ehrlich. Platzreservierungen sind empfehlenswert.

Fast schon familiärer Flair. Das Essen war wie immer fabelhaft. Durch die Nähe der Zweier-Tische kommt man relativ schnell Kontakt zu den Gästen am Nachbar-Tisch. Ein kleiner Smalltalk hat noch niemand geschadet. Mein Eindruck hierbei - Gäste von außerhalb haben das meines Erachtens sehr genossen.

Essen wie auf Kreta. Äußerst authentische griechische Gerichte. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, machen das Essen zu einem schönen Erlebnis.

Ein gemütlicher Aufenthalt in einer kleinen aber angenehmer Umgebung. Das Essen ist wie immer fabelhaft. Man kann sich gerne Zeit nehmen um mehrere Gänge zu genießen.

Sehr kleines und auch sehr eng bestuhltes Lokal mit überschaubarer Karte. Das Essen ist authentisch griechisch und damit geschmacklich deutlich anders als das was man von einem Mainstream-Griechen kennt. Durchaus einen Besuch wert. Einziges Ärgernis ist, dass man für Umbestellungen 1,50€ bezahlen muss, wodurch versucht wird diese abzuwenden, naja, aber davon abgesehen passt es.

Klienes, sehr gutes Restaurant. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Das Essen war erste Sahne, so gut griechisch gegessen hab ich nirgendwo.

Sehr leckeres Essen mit gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das Restaurant ist nett eingerichtet und auch die Bedienungen sind sehr bemüht und man hat das Gefühl das Restaurant und das Wohl der Gäste liegen allen am Herzen. Besonders zu empfehlen ist das Bougatsa als Nachtisch. Wir kommen wieder :)

Dieses Restaurant wurde schon mehrmals besucht. Bei jedem Besuch zeigte sich das Personal sehr freundlich und hat auch die Bestellungen sehr zeitnah aufgenommen und ebenfalls genauso flott das köstliche Essen serviert. Auf der Speisekarte gibt es eine große und gute Auswahl. Es empfiehlt sich vorab einen Tisch zu reservieren, da dieses Restaurant meistens sehr gut besucht ist. Wir kommen gerne jederzeit wieder.

Wirklich das beste Restaurant in Kaufbeuren, muss man sagen. Ich war schon in Griechenland und das Essen schmeckt genau gleich. Aber nicht nur deswegen: Service und das Ambiente sind wirklich überdurchschnittlich gut. Gerade der Service - man wird sofort bedient und es wird auch immer wieder nachgefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist. Das ist nicht mehr Standard in jedem Restaurant. Ich kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen, hier kann man ein wenig Griechenland in Kaufbeuren atmen.

Leckeres Essen, toller Service, schönes Ambiente; leider wird die Menge auf den Tellern immer „kleiner“ und die Preise immer „höher“! Wenn selbst mein Sohn 11 J. noch nach dem Essen Hunger hat, spricht das für sich… Sehr gut, aber zu wenig. Das sind wir vom Kalimera anders gewohnt!
