Estiatorio Alexandros in Forchheim

Heute das erste Mal hier gegessen Gyros war sehr lecker auch restliche Fleisch gut..... Reis war mir persönlich zu Geschmacklos auch Pommes waren sehr wenige.. Das zaziki war dann wieder sehr gut 👍.... Alles im allem Fleisch gut Beilagen könnten besser sein für den hohen Preis sehr kleine Portion....

Wirklich ein freundliches Miteinander, Familienbetrieb, das Essen ist perfekt und die Preise voll im Rahmen. Schön dass es euch gibt, weiter so 🤗❤️ Klar dass wir immer wieder gerne zu euch kommen 😉

(Sommer 2025:)Leider wurde ein nicht komplett durchgegartes Stück Fleisch meiner Hähnchenbrust lediglich grummelt abtransportiert. Anstelle einer angemessenen Entschuldigung aus der Küche, hat man mir einen vernachlässigbaren Nachlass vom Essenpreis angeboten: 2 Gäste dauerhaft verloren, negative Rezession bekommen.

Von außen eher unscheinbares griechisches Restaurant welches aber mit sehr gutem Essen überzeugt. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis top. Macht weiter so!

Sehr leckeres Essen und sehr zuvorkommender Service.

Wir waren zu Mittag dort. Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker und der Wirt war sehr nett. Wenn wir in der Nähe wohnen würden, kämen wir sicher öfter.

...sehr leckeres Essen und eine immer freundliche und außergewöhnlich schnelle Bedienung...sogar mit persönlicher Begrüßung, wenn man öfters kommt...unser absoluter Favorit...wir kommen aus Bubenreuth und fahren viel lieber nach Forchheim zum Griechen, als nach Erlangen...

Das Essen dort ist sehr gut und der Service ist sehr aufmerksam. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Gyros war sehr lecker. Service war auch super. Auch die Essen an den Nachbartischen sahen sehr lecker aus.

Toll, wir sind gerne dort, es gibt nix zu beanstanden. (nur eine Anregung, Bitte ggf. , dass man ggf Knoblauch Kartoffel Scheiben als Beilage mit auf die Speisekarte setzt😋)

Absolut empfehlenswert für alle Fans der griechischen Küche. Der Service ist super und das Essen einfach großartig!

Ein gemütliches und modernes Ambiente, das Essen war vorzüglich, die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Leider fehlte mir der gesunde Salat als Vorspeise, dafür gab's zwei ungesunde Ouzos😇👍❤️

Ein Lokal, das ich guten Gewissens empfehlen kann. Leckeres griechisches Essen. Sehr freundlicher Service. Der Wirt und manchmal auch seine Frau bedienen die Gäste. Auch wenn viel los ist, wird man prompt bedient. Die Preise haben in letzter Zeit zwar angezogen, aber noch stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die relativ günstige Mittagskarte gibt es leider nicht mehr, dafür werden kleinere Gerichte angeboten. Die Portionen sind reichlich. Von außen wirkt das Gasthaus fränkisch-gediegen. Das Ambiente im Gastraum finde ich sehr stilvoll. Nicht überladen, wie in manchen anderen griechischen Lokalen. Im Sommer kann man auch draußen sitzen, wenn einen der Verkehrslärm nicht stört.

Die Gerichte schmecken wunderbar, alle Extrawünsche sind super erledigt geworden. Dankeschön)

Very good Greek restaurant. Not all fish dishes are fried, but also grilled fish and octopus. 🐙 I've been there twice now and have been extremely satisfied both times. The service is good. The owner is friendly. I'd be happy to come back.

Very tasty Greek cuisine with friendly and attentive service. Whenever we go out for Greek food, it's always Alexandros. The hospitality and the ouzo on the house are outstanding. The gyro is juicy, the calamari is tender and nothing like those squid rings with a texture like chewing gum. We're always happy to go back.

Friendly staff and very tasty food

Serbuy is cool, everything is for the clientele. She knows the language, she knows what to bring when. She's just a smart girl. I love this bar.

We ordered food to pick up. The wait was 30 minutes, which I thought was fine. The gyro was very tender, not at all greasy and still really juicy. Really, very tasty. The calamari was also very good, not at all rubbery or greasy. Souvlaki was also good. Fries were also tasty. The tzatziki was fresh and not extremely garlicky. Service when picking up was friendly. The price-performance ratio here is absolutely fine. Decent pot sizes. However, I personally think the additional tzatziki for over six euros is a bit much, but that doesn't spoil the visit or the pick-up. All in all, a nice restaurant with good quality.

Went for lunch. The owner is absolutely great and also really child-friendly. Because of him alone, you should eat here. The food was also very tasty, but for my taste it could have been a little more seasoned. But that's really a matter of taste. Everything was cooked to perfection and everyone else was thrilled with their food too. We will definitely come back.

Wanted to go to a Greek restaurant at short notice on Saturday, called and got a table in the next room. There was no one else in the room, so it was very quiet... Service and food were great, we can definitely recommend it 👍

Very good food, reasonably priced, attentive and friendly service

The rating of 4.7 is absolutely incomprehensible. What you get here as gyros is actually meat made from chopped who knows what meat, water, fat and spices. When we spoke to the owner he became very rude and argumentative. Absolutely unacceptable. This shop should be avoided simply because of the cheap and inedible gyro variant.

Had Suflaki skewer without fries, but with hard garlic bread and a small salad, had to pay extra for everything, so nothing special. For lunch, there were only 4 people in total with me, it was ok, When I was paying I was asked if I wanted an ouzo, I said yes, but didn't get one, that speaks for itself, but whatever There are better Greeks and you don't necessarily have to visit this place again.

We love Greek! We ate outside of Bamberg this time and can highly recommend this Greek restaurant. Very nice owner and fast service. The food was plentiful and very tasty (we had the rest packed) except for the olives, which were a bit too salty for me personally but that's a matter of taste. Parking directly in front of the restaurant is probably a matter of luck, but there is an underground car park around the corner.

A very nice Greek restaurant right in the town center. We ate here with 4 people. Each of us had a starter and a grill plate for the main course plus drinks. For €160 including tip, absolutely within reason. The staff is very friendly, attentive and always in a good mood to have a joke. Gladly again!!!!

Very good Greek food in a relaxed city center. Above all, the Saganaki is highly recommended because it was the best I've eaten here in the area so far! Above all, there is a lunch menu at lunchtime, which makes it even cheaper (gyros with rice and tzatziki for €11.50)

That was amazing. Visited with 6 people and no one had even a hint of criticism about the food - everyone was amazed. Staff extremely friendly and attentive. We were even asked if we would like to move to the terrace again. Class. 100% recommendation!! We will be back.

Staff was very friendly! Definitely 5 stars. Since main courses are usually too much for me, I ordered two starters. The saganaki was really good, exactly as expected. However, I also ordered a “garlic salad” with it. I couldn't imagine anything like that. However, I actually didn't expect it to be a spread! In my opinion there was very little garlic in the taste and the dish was in no way what I imagined a salad to be! In my opinion, this dish should at least be renamed. Ambience: the outside area is right on a traffic-calmed street, so it's quite nice - I can't judge the inside or the sanitary facilities.

We had a very good meal at Alexandros today. Both the starters (saganaki, tzatziki and garlic bread) as well as the Olympic plate and the Larissa plate and the rice were excellent. I'm not an ouzo lover, but even this was good because it didn't burn that much. It was our first visit, but certainly not the last. The service was first class and everyone was very friendly. We were welcomed and served very friendly. The food was excellent and the portion was more than enough. We sat outside. The restaurant is on a relatively busy street, so it only gets 4 stars for the ambience. The restaurant is highly recommended.

Very hard-working Greek hosts who do their best. The tavern from 1604 with animal framework and beer garden used to be part of the brewery of the former Forchheim brewery. The house owner and former brewer has been ensuring the authentic building atmosphere for decades...

Normally I don't write reviews of any kind. But because we were so pleasantly surprised, we would like to make our praise public again here. We ordered the grill plate with gyros, liver and chicken. With your choice of fries and rice. We've often eaten Greek food, but the meat was often on the grill for too long, so it was often dry and tasted salty. It wasn't the case here! Well seasoned, very well cooked, juicy meat and crispy fries. Also rice as a side dish. It tasted wonderful and the service was also very attentive and friendly! We felt very comfortable. Thank you very much and keep it up!

We were here again as repeat offenders and this Greek guy was able to convince us again today. We ordered two very good fish/meat combinations and were delighted with tender meat and firm calamari. Very tasty portions, fair price, great service. Gladly again!

Very good Greek food. Had gyros with Metaxxa sauce and chicken suvlaki with rice. The portions were designed so that everyone gets full. In order to be able to offer the dishes despite the increase in VAT, there is no longer a free side salad with the dishes. I personally think this is a fair and good decision.

The fish platter was of very high quality. You don't get an Ouso as a greeting and at the end. The overall ambience is very good. The waitress was also very friendly. The sanitary facility is very clean. Overall recommended...

If you are in Forchheim, you should treat yourself to a Greek “off” here. The best quality food awaits you in a really nice atmosphere. The staff is very attentive and friendly. My tip: It's worth it!!!

Great food and atmosphere. I've been here several times and I've never been disappointed. All products are always fresh and perfectly prepared and seasoned. The service was very nice, I always left completely satisfied. I will gladly visit this place when I am in this city again. I recommend it again to everyone.

Im Gegensatz zu den anderen Rezensenten habe ich einen gänzlich anderen Eindruck. Ich war zum ersten Mal da. Der Gastraum ist bedrückend eng. Die Preise auch im Vergleich - ja aktuell - zu anderen Restauraunts auch Griechischen - deutlich zu hoch. Was mich aber besonder störte, war die Qualität des Essens, obwohl ich ein rel. teures Gericht wählte, weil ich aufgrund meines Geburtstages nicht auf den Preis sehen wollte. Die Fischplatte hat quasi nach nichts geschmeckt. Ich habe keinerlei Gewürze oder auch nur Salz oder gar Knoblauch (wär ja schön) geschmeckt. Das gilt auch für das Tsatziki. Das war wirklich enttäuschend. Alles hat gleich geschmeckt. Wenn ich vergleiche mit dem Griechen in Baiersdorf, eine Trauervorstellung. Dort aber für einen Bruchteil des Preises. Mein erstes Restaurant in Forchheim und ein kompletter Reinfall. Nach den vorherigen Rezensionen habe ich deutlich mehr erwartet und selbst ein Tzatzki vom Aldi schmeckt besser. Sehr sehr schade. Ich habe wirklich gehofft, was echt Leckeres zu kriegen und um Geld gings dabei nicht aber in Anbetracht des Gesamteindruckes muß ich sagen - das war absolut nichts. Ich habe schon bei Lieferando besser gegessen für weniger Geld.

Wir waren an einem Donnerstag zum Mittagessen dort. Wir waren die ersten Gäste und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Räume sind hell und sauber. Alles wirkt, wie frisch gestrichen. Das Essen war gut. Die normale Portion Gyros mit Pommes war sehr üppig. Lustig ist, dass es einen Win auf der Karte gibt, der GENESIS heißt. Da musste ich sofort an die Band um Phil Collins denken. Er hat den Wein nicht gekeltert. Mir hat er gut geschmeckt.

Dieser Grieche hält was er verspricht! Immer nett und zuvorkommend! Sehr leckeres Essen und saubere Räume! Seit dem diesen Griechen gibt, gehen, bestellen wir nur hier! Eine 1+ M

Lokal ist sehr schön und nicht kitschig eingerichtet. Service sehr gut, aufmerksam und freundlich. Vorspeise war ein Gedicht und die Hauptspeise ebenso. Der obligatorische Ouzo vor und nach dem Essen ging aufs Haus. Einziger Kritikpunkt: es war leider etwas kalt und hat gezogen, wenn Gäste herein kamen.

Es hat uns allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Essen war gut gewürzt sehr heiß und sehr lecker. Bedienung war sehr freundlich und kam öfters an unseren Tisch um zu fragen ob alles passt. Für uns im Moment der beste Grieche im Umkreis von Forchheim. PS haben schon einige ausprobiert!!@ Dankeschön wir kommen wieder.

Für den grossen Hunger. Fleischliebhaber kommen hier auf ihre Kosten. Die Portionen sind schon sehr ordentlich, der Geschmack auch sehr gut (Fleisch), lediglich die Soße meiner Kritharaki war etwas wässrig. Tsatsiki hätte etwas mehr Knoblauch vertragen können. Es war viel los an dem Abend, aber die längeren Wartezeiten wurden durch Freundlichkeit der Bedienung wett gemacht.
