The 4.5 stars were enticing, but we were disappointed. It's nice to sit, it has to be said. Plus everyone is very nice. Unfortunately, that was it for the positive things. Calamari were tasteless, the meat was very tough, the fries tasted old and the fish was of poor quality. The fish platter cost 25 euros and even so it wasn't cheap. So all things considered, this restaurant is not recommended

The atmosphere is nice and very well located on the water. Unfortunately the food was poor - Meat quality was mediocre, gyros too fatty with poor consistency - sandy salad (for 3 people at the table) Furthermore, the waiting time for us was very long, almost 1 hour for the starter. 1.5 for the main course. After about 40 minutes, the waitress came up to us and told us that there was no more minced meat for the dish we wanted (after we noticed that the same dish had been given out to other customers who came later due to the long waiting time) The replacement dish tasted bland. Otherwise they gave the feeling of not being very welcome It's actually a shame, and the restaurant was actually recommended several times. Maybe just had a bad day

Very long waiting time (1.5 hours), salad apparently not washed, 30 minutes after ordering: "there is no more bifteki", bifteki was served at the table next to it 5 minutes later (the customers arrived 30 minutes after us).

I'm not one to complain easily. But this time it is. I've ordered gyros pita for the whole family the last three times and they're just a disgrace! Meat not very good and almost hardly available. Maybe it should now be renamed Kraut Pita! Customer for years. Unfortunately not anymore! SORRY, you slacked off.

Acropolis is where Greek cuisine is served. This also works on the bison. And yes, it is one of the most beautiful places to sit in the city.

We were regular customers at Akropolis and then received vouchers for two drinks on the next visit. When we wanted to redeem them, we were told by the unfriendly daughter that the tax advisor would not accept them. The boss, whom we then asked for, didn't show up We can't understand losing regular customers because of 7 euros. If this had been explained to us in a more friendly way, we might have accepted it. But thank God there are super delicious Greek restaurants on the outskirts of Forchheim where we can celebrate birthdays with the whole family eat at least once a week

We had dinner at the Acropolis again today and what can we say - great as always! The gyros were super crispy, the bifteki and the squid rings were a dream! The service is A1! For us this is the absolute best Greek in Forchheim ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I ate Suvlaki, two skewers and very little rice, I had to order the salad separately, the Suvlaki cost €16.00 and was probably only worth €3 for the meat and rice. Was once and never again.

Unfortunately, we have to realize that the price-performance ratio is no longer suitable for us. The mushroom sauce was bland, the meat was dry and the portion of rice…ahem. This is actually better. The portions were also smaller, the moussaka consisted of 70% béchamel sauce. In addition, the taste is no longer what it once was. Long waiting time in the restaurant…45 minutes. Ok, if there's a lot going on, that's fine. But all in all… this will no longer be our Greek. The staff are very nice and the ambience is also fine.

I've enjoyed coming to Janni's at the Acropolis for years. He and his entire service crew are always friendly and extremely attentive. I've never had a bad meal here, quite the opposite. I am constantly surprised by new dishes that are actually excellently prepared. (...in the photo there is the octopus with baby calamri), admittedly an extra sausage, but Janni also tries to accommodate special requests as far as possible. The octopus was excellently grilled and tender as butter, as was the baby calamari! Perfect!!! I can only give the Akropolis restaurant the best recommendation, which is why it gets the full number of stars!

Were here with the family and can unconditionally recommend the restaurant. The food was super tasty and the portions were more than sufficient. Both the starters and the meat and fish dishes were excellently prepared. The service was good, quick and very accommodating - here you feel comfortable and welcome as a guest.

Hello. I probably have to explain my review well. Well, I basically like the Greek one times better than the already rated Estiatorio Alexandros. I already know him from visits a few years ago. The menu is very good and balanced and offers some highlights even for those who are not particularly interested in meat. I deliberately chose a fish dish that wasn't exactly cheap and I wasn't disappointed. The pulpo (octopus) is grilled to perfection and impresses with a wonderful smoky aroma, even if it could be a bit more. The Tris starter (tzatziki/aubergine cream and taramas) is also very good, although I would have hoped for more bread than the 3 mini slices of white bread. Others do this a little more lavishly (Baiersdorf for example) The prices are medium to high, but that's okay given the quality of the food and much better than the last Greek restaurant in Fo. was. However, I have to at least. When it comes to fish dishes, I say that a starter is necessary to fill you up (I can't judge when it comes to meat dishes). A friend of mine always says that if you don't get full at a Greek restaurant, something is wrong. OK. I was full, but thanks to the starter. So let's say at least a little more bread and side dishes would be good. What wasn't good or funny, however, was the exit. Wir waren zum Weihnachtsessen dort und haben 6 verschiedene Gerichte und wir waren alle begeistert. Der Service war sehr gut und preis Leistung absolut in Ordnung.

Sehr gutes Essen, guter Service! Ich kenn's von anderen griechischen Restaurants dass im Hintergrund Musik gespielt wird und ich glaube das wäre die Kirsche auf dem Sahnehäubchen gewesen. Ansonsten tip top

Sehr schönes Ambiente. Service war Klasse. Leider war das Essen Geschmacklich nicht so gut , kann daher die ganzen Bewertungen nicht verstehen. Für uns leider das erste und letzte mal.

Heerlijk grieks gegeten, met lekkere gratis ouzo. Een heel goed bezocht restaurant, een telefonische reservering is aan te bevelen. Het eten is van goede kwaliteit en wordt heel vriendelijk geserveerd. Ik kom al meer dan 25 jaar hier en heb nog nooit een teleurstelling gehad met het eten of met de atmosfeer, die altijd gezellig en goed is.

Habe dort das beste Metaxa-Gyros überhaupt gegessen. Meine Begleiter waren mit Ihren Gerichten ebenfalls sehr zufrieden. Nette Chefin die auch selber kocht. Top !

Meiner Meinung nach das beste griechische Restaurant in Forchheim - seit Jahrzenten. Essen schmeckt sehr gut, das Ambiente ist einladend, Preise sind in Ordnung. Inhaber ist immer gut drauf, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Wir konnten bei bestem Wetter Anfang Oktober noch draußen sitzen und lecker essen 👍🏻🤗.. Ambiente war hervorragend, dazu noch eine sehr nette Bedienung und sehr gutes griechisches Essen!! Wer in der Nähe ist sollte unbedingt vorbeischauen 👍🏻👍🏻

Ein außerordentlich schönes Ambiente, warm und gemütlich eingerichtet heißt einen das Akropolis willkommen und man fühlt sich gleich wohl. Es gibt eine reichhaltige Speisekarte und alles was wir bis jetzt ausgewählt hatten war immer super lecker. Sehr zu empfehlen, auch der Außenbereich.

Auf der Suche nach etwas zu Essen nach einem harten Wettkampf, wurden wir nach mehreren Abweisungen in verschiedenen Lokalen hier fündig. Das Ambiente war toll, der Service sehr zuvorkommend und das Essen mega lecker. Danke. ❤

Eines der beiden empfehlenswerten griechischen Restaurants im Zentrum Forchheims, direkt gegenüber vom berühmten "schiefen Haus", und ganz in der Nähe der Fischkästen. Besonders schön ist der Aussenbereich, der sich entlang der Wiesent und auf der gegenüber vom Restaurant befindlichen Brücke entlang zieht.

Es war wunderschön, wir saßen draußen am Fluss und haben ihn angesehen. Das Essen war ebenfalls richtig lecker. Ich hatte überbackenen Feta. Was auch irgendwie leicht romantisch war, war das es angefangen hatte zu regnen. Aber zum Glück war dort ein riesiger Schirm, der uns geschützt hat und die freundliche Bedienung war dann plötzlich mit einem Regenponcho unterwegs.

Service und Ambiente innen wie außen sehr gut, das Essen war aber insgesamt nur durchschnittlich, insbesondere die Fleischqualität beim Gyros (normal und Metaxa) war durchwachsen, Pommes dafür sehr lecker. Preise gerade noch okay. Insgesamt mit Service und Ambiente knappe 4 Sterne.

Eigentlich wollten wir gar nicht griechisch essen gehen. Die Tische draußen am Wasser waren für uns unwiderstehlich. Bei super Wetter suchten wir uns einen kleinen Tisch auf der brücke am schiefen Haus aus. Er war einfach super. Das Personal freundlich und das Essen prima. Das Ambiente ist aussen sehr schön. gerne kommen wir wieder. Die paar Autos am Sonntag- sehr erträglich - das nächste Mal- gefüllte bifteki- ich hatte sie leider nicht, aber das nächste mal. Meine Frau und ich hatten die grosse Vorspeisenplatte für 2 Personen. richtig reichlich. Alles in allem: es war super schön und gut.

Leckeres, frisches Essen, zarte Calamari, schmackhaftes Gyros, frische Kartoffelchips, was will man mehr. Im Sommer bietet das Akropolis Sitzplätze an und über der Wiesent. An lauschigen Simmerabenden ein Traum unter Bäumen.

Ein aussergewoehnlicher Inhaber: könnte man mehr als 5 Sterne vergeben, er haette sie verdient. Das Essen ausgezeichnet, der Service sehr freundlich. Wir waren heute mit unserer 94jaehrigen Tante dort. Wir baten den Inhaber, uns ein Taxi für die Rückfahrt anzurufen. Leider gab es in Forchheim um 21.00 Uhr keine Taxe. Der Inhaber des Akropolis bot an, uns alle von einer Mitarbeiterin nach Hause zu fahren. Wunderbar und vielen vielen Dank.

Das Essen war gut, solider Grieche, nichts außergewöhnliches, Service war etwas langsam und unorganisiert. Die Getränkepreise sind frech…der Preis würde bei 0,5l passen…ist aber alles 0,3l…Bier 0,4l…

Wir stehen auf dem Wohnmobil-Stellplatz und sind nach den Bewertungen auf den Griechen Akropolis gestoßen…wir wurden nicht enttäuscht das Essen war super ,die Bedienung war sehrgut ,das Ambiente war schön /rustikal sehr zu empfehlen ,gerne wieder.

Beim Akropolis fühlt man sich auch immer sehr wohl sehr gute Griechische Küche freundlies Personal klasse

Du sitzt toll im Schatten der großen Bäume direkt an der Wiesent, die durch Forchheim fließt. Das Essen ist gut, wie auch der Service.

Spontan zum Griechen und dann hier im Akropolis einen Platz bekommen. Sehr freundlich ist die Bedienung und wir waren mit der Vorspeise Weinblätter und dicke Bohnen sehr zufrieden, schmackhaft und reichlich. Die kleinen Sardinen zum Hauptgang waren grandios, genau getroffen, super Qualität und auch der Grillteller konnte uns überzeugen. Wir haben sehr gut gegessen und angemessen bezahlt. Gerne wieder

Einfach nur zum empfehlen, nettes Personal und leckeres Essen. Nur mit denn Reservierungen haben sie Probleme. Meine Freundin hat ein Tisch reserviert die Bedienung hat erst denn Herrn geholt und hat uns dann. Zu einem Tisch geführt. Aber im ganzen ganz schön.

Sehr gut ohne Einschränkung! Charmante Damen im Service, schöner Tisch und zum Essen gibt es nur gutes zu berichten. Die Bohnen super eingelegt, Weinblätter schmackhaft, beide Fisch/ Fleisch Teller super lecker, würzig, reichhaltig, bissfest und auf den Punkt gekocht. Ein schöner Abend mit sehr guten Speisen zum fairen Preis. Sicher bald wieder!
