Annas Taverne in Dachau

Vom Geschmack wirklich sehr nah an Griechenland, auch von der Zubereitung, was in griechischen Restaurants leider gar nicht üblich ist. Einzig der Blattsalat passt natürlich nicht, den könnte man in eine abgespeckte Bauernsalatvariante umwandeln. Ansonsten wirklich gut!

Wollt ihr euch wie auf einem Kurzurlaub in Griechenland fühlen, dann geht in Annas Taverne! Grandiose, hochqualitative und v. a. sau guade griechische Küche, die wir uns auch gerne von Zeit zu Zeit nach Hause holen. Service herzlich, freundlich und einfach liebenswert!

Been there again for the first time in years and it was the right decision. Service: Super quick, attentive, friendly and approachable. Food: We basically ate our way through various starters and main courses, and every single dish was really delicious. I'm happy that Anna's Tavern is in Dachau and that they're moving to a larger location soon. MMn best Greek in the area.

Anna's tavern, always a pleasure to eat there. The meat is cooked to perfection, the fries are crispy and what can I say, the tzatziki is just perfect. It's a small, fine shop with a family atmosphere because the whole family runs the place. So I can highly recommend it.

Very much so a one man show and family business. In an unsecured place with no parking, we were worried our car would get broken into. The seating situation was very uncomfortable, the chairs were old and raggedy and had my back hurting. View was of a construction site to the right of the restaurant. Greek platter was diverse in options for vegetarians and carnivores. The octopus on mashed potatoes was so greasy, couldn’t keep eating it. Which is weird since it was supposed to be grilled, the sauce on top tasted sour. Wouldn’t recommend it but the mashed potatoes were good. Gave us free shots and orange cake, the cake itself was too sweet especially with the ice cream. Had the house white wine which was delicious and a deal. Service was slow but it was only one server and then one cook. Took 40 minutes for our food to come to the table.

Besonders gut hat uns das Gyros und Lammfilet gefallen, das unglaublich zart und perfekt gewürzt war. Der Service war freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich, was das gesamte Erlebnis noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant war gemütlich, familiär und man fühlte sich sofort willkommen. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmte – für die Qualität der Speisen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und können dieses Restaurant jedem empfehlen, der die griechische Küche liebt!

We've probably been there 15 times now and have never been disappointed. The waitresses are very friendly and make every effort to please vegetarians and vegans. That's not so easy with Greek cuisine! There is a special board with at least 20 extra dishes outside of the usual menu, which provides variety. Children are very welcome and are happy to be given special care, e.g. "without greens" 😀 The prices are of course a little higher than in the kebab shop, we always had the feeling that we were getting fresh ingredients and high-quality vegetables/meat/fish. The restaurant is quite small, so it's a bit cramped, which might bother some people. In summer there are more places because the terrace is open. Reservation is a good idea, it's always full. That says a lot! We are happy to have found Anna's tavern 😀

Wat een heerlijke ervaring. Echt Grieks eten voor een mooie prijs. Snelle bediening, vriendelijk en gastvrij. We hebben top gegeten en voelden ons echt thuis.

A little disappointed, the owner brought us all kinds of food that we just wanted to get information about. Misunderstandings can always arise but then you ask again... secondly, we certainly didn't want 4 main courses and a cold and a warm starter plate each. Plus extra rice and more fries... it was still delicious. We didn't mention it out of politeness because she tried very hard.

The food is incredibly tasty (especially the Galaktoboureko) and the service is very friendly. It's a shame we're not here more often.

Unfortunately the food (gyros) wasn't particularly good. The service was very hectic. All in all, the evening wasn't particularly typically Greek. By the way: There wasn't a single Greek among the staff! It was also very expensive! Despite poor quality 😟

It's the little Greek guy next door - small but nice! Even though I no longer live in Dachau, it is always something special to come here. Here I live pure enjoyment! Sofie is a great landlady and also has a great team at her side! Was here today with a small group, we had a very nice evening with culinary delights and a lot of fun 👍 I or we - definitely come again. Anna's Taverne remains our favorite 🤗 What I particularly like is the table with the delicacies... Shrimp with Metaxa sauce 🍤🦐

Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht und sind von dem hervorragenden, frischen Essen begeistert gewesen. Die Leidenschaft für authentisches griechisches Essen und die passende Atmosphäre ist absolut spürbar. Lovely place to dine for Greek food. Greek music, greekish atmosphere and cozy spot to be at. Well seasoned, great tasting food. Service was friendly, but didn't speak English (but came to understanding by arms and legs). Prices were very reasonable and portions aswell as drink sizes were large. Wasn't able to pay by card, so as a foreigner, make sure to bring some cash! All and all, definitely recommend this lovely place.

We had the pleasure of visiting this Greek taverna for the first time and loved it! As guests from Stuttgart, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. Sofi herself is incredibly nice and accommodating, which made our evening particularly pleasant. We were very impressed by the delicious dishes and the cozy atmosphere. We can highly recommend this tavern and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Jedes einzelne Gericht ein Gedicht, man merkt, dass alles frisch gemacht wird, wer was anders behauptet, hat, kaputte Geschmackszellen. Ein super Service! Getränke und Essen kommen sehr schnell an. Immer wieder gerne.

We didn't arrive in Dachau until around 9 p.m. on Friday evening. Since Anna's tavern is open until 11 p.m., we reserved a table for three people the day before. The welcome from the boss was very warm and the drinks were immediately brought to our table. The meal started just 5 minutes after ordering with the salad as a starter. The main courses, “grilled and fried calamari,” were prepared to perfection and highly recommended. At the end there was of course an obligatory ouzo on the house ;). As already mentioned in the previous reviews, the cozy guest room and the illuminated outdoor terrace are really inviting! A spontaneous reservation was possible. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the food was incredibly good ^^ It's been a long time since we've eaten Greek food that was so delicious and our plate was so full that we were able to roll the ouzo back to the hotel xD Oh and the strawberry Hugo was really good ^_< The price performance ratio is very good. Highly recommended ^____^ and we would love to come back ^_^

Friendly and fast service and, above all, really good food.

We celebrated our daughter Anna's communion there and were all thrilled (including real Greeks 😎). The planning in advance was uncomplicated, Sofi was completely relaxed and patient with me despite the changes and "losses" of people, and gave us great advice. The quality of the food was amazing, Sofi and her colleague were great, the garden is really beautiful with lots of trees and the children were able to jump around without anyone being bothered. We will certainly enjoy the beautiful afternoon for a longer period of time (we were there on Sunday). Thank you again for everything!! We will be back!!

It was more by chance that I came across Anna's Tavern while looking for a nice restaurant in DAH. We were very pleasantly surprised. Everything just fits here! The ambience, the warm friendliness, the service and above all the outstanding food...🤤 I've never eaten Greek food as good as I did here! We felt very comfortable and spent a lovely evening at Anna's tavern. Best Greek restaurant in Dachau! Always happy to come back

Previous reviews suggested this fantastic Greek restaurant. We (2 adults & 3 children) visited after a tour of the camp on a Sunday and each thoroughly enjoyed different and generous portioned dishes. The owner/ host has limited English (and we no German) - but with the help of a regular patron, use of gestures and much laughter- we were all more than satisfied. The restaurant is a few Kms from the camp in what looks like a blend of business park & residential area. We took a relatively expensive taxi from the camp but were able to walk back to the train station in under 15 mins. Really recommend this memorable little restaurant, very friendly host (and regular customer) and super food

Very tasty food after a spontaneous request and confirmation of a table for 2 hours. Very well attended. Cozy tavern. There were additional offers for drinks and food on a large board that was brought upright to the table. The service was super friendly, dog friendly, child-friendly, competent and fast. Not a long wait for the food.

Super friendly, great food, just perfect all around

Unfreundliche Bedienung Man hätte explizit bei der Bestellung sagen müssen dass, die Vorspeise von der Karte eine Vorspeise ist und die Hauptspeise danach serviert weden sollte. Beides kam zeitgleich auf den Tisch. Nach einem kurzen Hinweis meiner Freundin, wurde sie lautstark zurechtgewiesen und beinah aus dem Lokal geworfen. Wir sind eine Gruppe von 6 Personen gewesen und hatten leider schon unser Essen bekommen, sonst wären wir gegangen. Einmal und nie wieder.

Cozy atmosphere with friendly service I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Greek restaurant and I must say it was a pleasant experience. The service was extremely nice and attentive, which had a positive effect on the entire atmosphere. Dogs are allowed, which is definitely a plus for animal lovers. The decor contributes to a welcoming ambience and gives the restaurant a cozy atmosphere in an interesting way. Although the prices are a bit higher, I would say the quality of the food and service justify it. Overall, it's a good choice for a special occasion or a relaxing evening.

Wir (Paar mit 4-jährigem Sohn) waren auf der Durchreise und suchten ein Restaurant für den Abend. Schnell bei Tripadvisor geschaut, was sich anbietet und bei ANNAS TAVERNE gelandet. Von außen sehr unscheinbar. Mussten uns zum parken erst einmal etwas zurecht finden. Öffnet man die Tür zu Gastraum, hat man das Gefühl in einer Taverne in Griechenland zu stehen. Klein, aber ur-gemütlich. Begrüßt wurden wir von der Chefin persönlich. Man fragte uns, ob wir reserviert hätten. Hatten wir nicht. Und obwohl der Gastraum voll besetzt war (außer zwei reservierten Tischen), bot man uns einen reservierten Tisch für eine begrenzte Zeit an, da man uns nicht einfach wegschicken wollte. (Mit Kind ist man eh nicht 2 Stunden in einem Restaurant ;-) ) Wir bekamen einen schönen Tisch und wurden sehr freundlich bedient. Getränke und Essen kamen prompt. Und was soll ich sagen, wir fühlen uns zurückversetzt in unseren Griechenland Urlaub. Ehrliche und sehr frische Küche mit dem bekannten Geschmack aus dem Urlaub, Nichts eingedeutscht oder abgewandelt. Unter anderem hatten wir Fisch, welcher sehr frisch und absolut köstlich war. Selbst unser Sohn, der sonst nicht so für Fisch ist, liebte die Sardellen. Wenn ich jetzt darüber nachdenke, läuft mir das Wasser im Mund zusammen. Die Besitzer sind sehr kinderlieb und haben unseren Sohn sehr herzlich angesprochen. Fazit: Absolute Empfehlung ! Sollten wir nochmals in Dachau Zwischenstopp machen, ist ein Besuch in Annes Taverne gesetzt.

We were there again today and it was once again super tasty. I don't know where they look with their bad reviews? It's a little more expensive but what not but look at the portions. Mega. When I go to a tavern I know that It is small. We can only recommend it. Food, staff, ambience, everything is great. Thanks for the delicious food, keep it up.

Wir waren am 05.01.2024 zu dritt erstmals in diesem kleinen aber feinen Lokal. Wir hatten reserviert und jeder hat aus der relativ kleinen Karte ein anderes Hauptgericht genommen. Sehr positiv ist schon mal aufgefallen dass die Gerichte gleichzeitig und auch angemessen schnell (aber auch nicht zu schnell, so dass man tatsächlich davon ausgehen kann, dass alles frisch zubereitet wurde) kamen. Zu erwähnen ist auch noch, dass es neben der eigentlichen Speisekarte (die im Internet einzusehen ist) noch eine handgeschriebene Tageskarte auf einer großen Tafel gibt. Alle drei Essen waren sehr gut, schmackhaft und auch von der Menge her völlig adäquat. Wir waren am Ende alle völlig satt. Auch unsere drei unterschiedlichen Nachtische waren sehr lecker. Natürlich sind griechische Lokale nicht die billigsten, aber für diese Qualität der Speisen, diese echte Freundlichkeit und Zuvorkommenheit des Personals (vielleicht war es sogar die Chefin selbst?) zahlt man gerne zu dritt 105 Euro, inklusive der (nicht ganz billigen) Getränke (3x Hauptspeise, 3x Nachspeise, 3x Getränke). Wenn man denn unbedingt etwas kritisieren möchte, dann die Messer, die etwas stumpf waren. Wir haben es der Bedienung mitgeteilt und man hat das sehr freundlich aufgenommen und uns mitgeteilt, dass das in der Tat schon bekannt sei und auch in Kürze behoben werden soll/wird. Auch wenn man sich so einen Gaststättenbesuch nicht wöchentlich leisten kann, aber wir kommen sicher wieder. Entfernung zum Wohnort: Nahbereich, bis 10 km.

Das Essen hier ist wirklich überragend lecker. Man sollte rechtzeitig reservieren, um einen Platz zu bekommen, da dieser vor allem im Winter, recht begrenzt ist.

Toller und liebevoller Service. Fisch (Calamari-Tuben), Fleisch und Salate wirklich lecker zubereitet. Selten so gute griechische Küche erlbet. Absolute Empfehlung.

Schönstes Ambiente, dass ich bisher zusehen bekommen habe in griechischen Tavernen. Mit den Tischplatten fühlt man sich wie in Griechenland und dazu das exzellente Essen….. Auf jeden Fall wieder!!
