The menu changes every week and can be checked online. Lunch is a little more reasonable. I rang the bell at the entrance, handed over my coat, and although I didn't have a reservation, I was immediately shown to my seat. There was also non-alcoholic champagne. My appetizer was salmon tartare, and my main course was venison schnitzel. Everything was delicious in appearance, texture, and taste. In particular, the crunchy textures in the appetizers and desserts were new to me as I had never encountered them before in Germany. There was no unnecessary conversation, and the food came out in a timely manner.

We dined here for our wedding anniversary. The restaurant has changed over the last 3 years. The service seemed completely unprofessional - the lady didn't get the drink first. The waiter wobbled uncertainly to the guest table (just practice at home) and the friendliness of the cellar just reached a minimum. The food did not correspond to the standard of a star kitchen (starter 3 spreads with bread did not taste homemade, meat preparation had a strange taste, fries in a wire basket like in a simple bistro) I was very disappointed. We had a fantastic afternoon, from booking and email conversation to on site experience, it was very professional and done with love. Food was incredible, service to highest standard and we felt very comfortable during the whole lunch. Special requests were listened to and prepared in advance. The suggestions for non alcolholic beverages was excelent and went with the food perfectly. Thank you for making our anniversary a day to remember.

A new restaurant has arrived. The Tafelspitz from Grabenstrasse has found its new home here. Very tasty Hessian/Rhine-Hessian dishes await and pamper the palate. The ambience is simple and modern. The food was very tasty. Welcome to the new location and good luck in the new premises.

Ein wunderbarer Genuss. Wir hatten uns für 6 Gänge mit Weinbegleitung entschieden. Neben den außergewöhnlich raffinierten Speisen sticht die Freundlichkeit des Personals hervor! Die Weine waren exzellent gewählt und vom Sommelier mit Witz gredenzt. Selbst die Kleinigkeiten, das Brot und die Butter (in Entenform) zum Niederknien… Wir haben zum Glück im Hotel übernachtet, denn die Gläser waren immer gut gefüllt! Gerne wieder mal! It was quite crude, undercooked and much too filling as is the case in low quality German restaurants. A lovely, cozy restaurant with very attentive service. The gourmet menu with wine accompaniment left nothing to be desired and aroused enthusiasm for further visits.
