Sounds promising, but it doesn't hold up. The oysters and mussels were wonderful, but the rest was unfortunately disappointing. The ceviche was boring. Very small plates, but high prices. It seems uninspired and random, with no real common thread. The service was too arrogant for me. There was no recommendation or advice about the wine and the plates were carelessly placed in a very strange sequence. If the tipping expectations are not met, you as a guest will be treated condescendingly. That hasn't happened to me in a long time. I expected a lot and unfortunately I'm not sad that I can't do it again here.

Well, the restaurant will be closing soon. The two of us wanted to get another impression and have a nice evening. A terrible atmosphere for a 1 star restaurant. Wooden chairs without upholstery or padded bench simple. Wooden table varnished so that it looks relaxed and at the same time saves 1500 euros in white laundry per month. Guest room noisy and too cold in winter, heating on level 5 lukewarm. The person sitting next to you at the table should wear simple, thick sweaters and not designer clothes, which are not shown here. A blouse or something similar is not possible as it would cost too much due to the temperatures. A record player plays black vinyl with very special music, often so loud that you can't hear the person sitting next to you at the table. If the music is turned down, it is quickly turned up again... The service sometimes seems thrown together or provided by temporary employment agencies. Preferably in English and poor German. All in all, you celebrate yourself in the special way of the boss in the house until the bitter end of the establishment. In terms of food, there are only 8 course menus yes or no. Optional corresponding wines. The wines were more of a mediocre accompaniment, but matched the courses. In principle, the kitchen can do more than the restaurant offers in its own way. When it ends in mid-December, the operator will rethink its concept. Too casual and “special” for a star, too expensive for anything less. Just an attempt to make fine dining trendy in Kreuzberg. Unfortunately, the spirit of the times is changing more and more quickly. Result of the evening 500 euros for two, in a special atmosphere with very competent cuisine. Others can do that better in Berlin...we felt entertained, but unfortunately not picked up.

We tried the lunch menu. It was extremely disappointing! I understand that they want to offer a cheap lunch. But I can't understand why the quality of the food is extremely bad and no longer pay attention to the standard. Risotto cooked hard, still too runny, salt missing. Steak, fish tastes like nothing, hardly seasoned. Overall, the entire meal unfortunately had no taste. We expected something more…

Junto con un amigo, fui a cenar por primera vez ayer en el Richard muy bien amueblado. Lo primero es lo primero: el lugar es mágico y la comida es muy buena. Pero eso no podía ocultar el hecho de que los camareros nos trataron como huéspedes de segunda clase tan pronto como pedimos: A diferencia de mi acompañante, no bebo alcohol y también había optado por un surtido de deliciosas tapas, que el camarero elogió pomposamente, y en contra de un plato principal. Y de hecho, obtuve el valor de mi dinero en términos de gusto, y también estaba lleno. Sin embargo, el camarero tuvo claro en cuanto le ordenamos que nos trataría con desprecio, olvido y condescendencia. Así que no solo olvidó el vino que mi compañero había pedido, sino también mi bebida sin alcohol. También nos trajo una sola rebanada de pan, pero nos cobró el precio completo, comentó nuestro pedido "escaso" -audiblemente para mí- despectivamente a un colega y nos informó a las 7 . 05 pm que la mesa se volvería a reservar a partir de las 7 . 30 pm (Dejaré a vuestra discreción si esta información es cierta o no...) Luego nos apresuró a la cuenta y me la tendió desde el final de la mesa.

Very generous with the wine pouring led me drunk halfway into the 30 course meal lol Joke aside, great wine pairing and very fresh ingredients with simple executions.

The restaurant has one of the intriguing , edgy, modern decor I have seen with High ceilings among the restaurant really add to the overall ambience. I have concluded the les serveurs / waiters you see in a restaurant really set the dining experience and the dishes you will expect in a restaurant. The food is pretty good, and edgy. Has seasonal changes, I remembered the two colour soups and the beef steak well. Superb At this point of writing, I saw it was closed. A pity

Wir haben gehört, dass die Einrichtung am 20. Dezember 2024 ihren letzten Tag hat. Das ist sehr schade, da wir eine wirklich überzeugende Performance hinsichtlich Essen (richtiges Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis bei sehr guter Qualität), einen engagierten und dabei niemals aufdringlichen Service sowie ein sehr angenehmes Ambiente genießen konnten. Wirklich schade.

Delicious experience in a very interesting restaurant. From ringing the doorbell at the front door, to walking through corridors and past the kitchen, to arriving inside the seating area and being served delicious food, the whole experience was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Service (Jacquelin) spitze Ambiente gut Speisen exzellent. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut. Das Dinner war nicht nur köstlich und die Ware von hoher Qualität, sondern auch gut abgeschmeckt und erstklassig präsentiert. Professioneller und emphatischer Umgang mit einer kleinen Kritik. Kompliment an Service und Küche.

We decided to try Prism due to the Levantine menu and wine from the regions. We've been to plenty Michelins and for some reason for the price point it seemed a little bit overpriced for the tastings we received. With that said, each plate was delicious and well presented. We got the wine pairing. There were 3 categories and we went with the middle category. The wines were definitely the super stars. Don't get me wrong, the food was delicious but I thought the price was a little bit over which is why I gave 4 stars. I've never had veal tongue and it was welcomed surprise among other dishes. It's worth checking out for sure.
