Wir lieben das Konzept vom Etz: Brutal lokal und immer die besten Produkte von vor Ort. Super genial auch die Experimentierküche! Ein grandioses Spätsommer-menue; Aromen, Farben und Vielfalt zum Dahinsinken und auf die Knie gehen. Auch das vegetarische Menu war excellent. Unbedingt die alkoholfreie Getränkebegleitung probieren. Sehr kreativ. Perfekter Service und unfassbar spannend die offene Küche und der Paß mitten im Raum. Ein perfekter Hochzeitsabend auch mit der Erfüllung der Sonderwünsche.

Anyone visiting Nuremberg and the surrounding area should definitely try this unique restaurant in a rustic, traditional style. We were particularly impressed by the numerous amuse bouches. From the start it was a great experience and the menu fully met our high expectations. You can really feel the art of star cuisine here - sophisticated, creative and excellent in taste. We're always happy to come back!

Food started strong, but then I think the flavors tapered off. Usually water/coffee is included at such local places, unfortunately this was not the case here. Otherwise a very nice evening - deductions clearly due to the location, the toilets, the ambience and the food - the price/performance ratio isn't quite right and one of the service people wasn't very attentive, the rest was great.

Dear Rottner family, Our families have now known each other for three generations. We were able to experience many family celebrations, musical breakfasts and cozy evenings in the Rottner house. Even today, for my mother's 88th birthday, everything was great... even the little things, like the greeting from the kitchen with warm bread with a perfect crust and fine crumb, were designed with the same passion as the delicious starters and the finest main courses and were prepared as always accompanied by unobtrusive, friendly service. The sorbet variations were a final poem... Thank you for a lovely evening.

Best place to try Brazilian food in Nuremberg

The food and service at Essigbratlein is brilliant and should not be missed if visiting Nuremburg. Each dish was fresh and appealing. The hotel director at the Drei Raben where we stayed discovered we were dining at Essigbratlein and he was extremely enthusiastic telling us how the vegetables would “explode” with deliciousness and exquisite flavors. He was totally accurate! This restaurant was one of the highlights of our dining experiences on a long road trip through Austria and Germany. It would be our top pick to return and experience again. The wine pairing was also wonderful and my partner who doesn’t care for alcohol loved the non-alcoholic beverage pairing. I believe our dining experience lasted about 4 hours and we loved every minute. Vielen Dank! Bravo to the chefs and entire staff!

An absolute highlight of the local gastronomy for us in terms of cuisine and taste. The menu is very carefully put together. Some of the individual flavors are really incomparably well developed and the entire 7-course menu really makes sense. You can taste the quality of the food. Particularly worthy of appreciation is the excellent hospitality and homely/friendly atmosphere throughout the separate fine dining area. The special greetings from the kitchen and the personal presentation of the finale by the boss are also particularly noteworthy. The sommelier's recommendations and expertise are remarkable. We'll definitely be back.

Abends essen gehen, wohin als Weitgereister, klar ins Restaurant Koch und Kellner, nun, es ist Sinne berührend, es ist himmlisch, es wird mit Leidenschaft erklärt, gekocht, serviert und man spürt die Unendlichkeit der Genussmöglichkeiten. Das Valentinsmenü, mit den begleitenden Weinen, wundervolle Komposition, mehr geht einfach nicht, Danke das es Euch gibt und jederzeit wieder, ich konnte mit Euch bei meiner Begleitung -Punkten- ja wir werden wieder erscheinen, ach ja, wir warten nun auch nicht bis zum nächsten Valentinstag, es wird früher erfolgen.
