I finally made it to Minecci for a special occasion. We had the 6 course menu with wine accompaniment. We were really impressed by how beautifully the individual courses were presented and how delicious they tasted. The ravioli were some of the best we've ever eaten. The eagle fish, fried crispy on the skin, had really nice roasted aromas. Even though we only thought the dessert was good, we were very pleasantly surprised by the food overall and would have preferred to have the same portion again for many courses. We also really enjoyed the wines. There was a nice mix of Croatian, Italian and a German wine. The service was very friendly and after the meal we were shown the vaulted cellar. Price/performance was absolutely okay for this menu. Of course not for every week, but for special occasions. But we will definitely come back.

Excellent service, very friendly and courteous staff and really good food. This was our second time here on business as part of a trade fair visit and it won't be the last time.

Beautiful rustic elegance combined with fantastic flavors and superb service. We had the 4 and 5 course meal with wine pairings and were delighted! What a wonderful dining experience.

Ganz passables Essen - aber einfach überteuert, z.B. Vorspeise Melone mit absolut minimaler Quantität für 24€, ein Glas Weißwein (0,1) für 16€ und ein Glas Schaumwein für 18€. Die Michelin-Bezeichnung rechtfertigt eben absolut jeden Preis für das leicht überschaubare Esserlebnis, man bezahlt schließlich das Oeuvre - unreal. Positiv: Die freundliche Bedienung.

Travel by train from the north of Franconia several times a year to enjoy the fantastic menu. We have never been disappointed!! And, if you criticize the price/performance level, you have the opportunity to order everyday cuisine in the neighborhood, certainly cheaper, but better 😏? Were here again today, July 31, 2024: great summer menu, fine wine accompaniment...went home on the train completely satisfied.

An excellent restaurant with a nice atmosphere and a good wine list. Everything was excellent, including the very attentive and polite service. But there is a big point deduction here: if we pay a bill > EUR 1000 for 4 people in one evening and are asked for a digestif after payment, I don't expect a separate bill for the same afterwards. A not insignificant faux pas.

The food was extremely good, sometimes the portions could be a bit larger. The service was also very good. The wines are all very expensive and were good, but not worth the price. What is missing is the former Mennici, who had a very positive influence on the restaurant with his style and the whole thing had a very personal touch. I still miss this with the new boss. Still 5 stars if you want to eat very well in Nuremberg.

We found this gem of a restaurant in the city center and concluded that the food is delicious. It is a high-end restaurant, where you can spend a very pleasant time. We started the afternoon with a beer and glasses of red recommended by the place's sommelier. To start, they brought us some very good sandwiches, we ordered risotto which was spectacular, some tortelli with truffle and the rack of lamb which was delicious. For dessert we ordered the creme brûlée which was very good. The atmosphere of the place is sophisticated and elegant, if you want to take your partner or have a business dinner it is the ideal place.

We decided to celebrate our wedding at MINNECI and it was the best choice for us! The service and organization of our wedding was great and everything went great that evening. The food (5-course menu) was exquisite for all our guests, as was the wine. The boss was very flexible, accommodated us and fulfilled all of our wishes. The food is all fresh and from the region and is of very high quality. We will never forget our wedding at MINNECI and would recommend this restaurant to everyone! :) Greetings Valentina and Ingo

Mise en Place does not meet the expectations and quality of the venue. Placed near the door that obstructs the exit/entry of visitors. Staff who don't speak Italian or English at all €28 for a risotto with scampi of questionable execution and technique.

Wir waren dort zum Mittagessen und hatten reserviert, aber es wäre noch genug frei gewesen. An und für sich ist das Ambiente sehr schön, stelle es mir gerade Abends toll vor. Essen und Getränke kamen zügig und es war auch alles ganz lecker. Würde aber beim nächsten Mal besser Abends hin gehen. man hat sich mittags sehr alleine dort gefühlt :) und hatte das Bedürfnis zu flüstern :D

The prices for open wines are very opaque and sometimes exaggerated.

We still know the Minneci from the previous owner and finally wanted to test the new "Minneci". Overall, we enjoyed the evening and the winter menu. The dishes were very good. The service was generally very attentive and friendly. A service employee exuded a certain arrogance to us, which took some of the ease out of the evening. We're not so convinced about the new "Minneci".

Fine dining, Very premium atmosphere and choice of menu. Of course not cheap, but you shall be aware already when choosing. The choice and amount of food is well balanced.

It's always a very nice evening there with really sensational food and great wine, both visually and tastefully.

We had a table downstairs and we were pretty much easy going group of guests, not behaved really picky but (because of this friendly approch maybe) we had to pay 1,700 euro for a group of 7 people which is ridiculous for a restaurant in Nuremberg. We got 6 course of menu and 2 bottles of wine. Food quality was average not special (espeicfor this price). Food might be 3 stars if price would be one third what you pay. I am not feeling happy to mention it but one service person had heavy smell of sweat which disturbs you so much during the service. We have been served in the basement of restaurant which was really not a great ambience. Really not worth for the price we paid. Definitely overpriced restaurant, besides bot located in a great spot. For sure not will visit them again. You can try Michelin star upscale restaurants in other European cities at much lower prices.

We went in this evening without a reservation and were greeted with joy and a spot was arranged for us straight away! The service was absolutely brilliant and the food was simply a delight. We can definitely recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience 😋😋😋

Went there last to eat the winter 5-course menu. What follows is “mobbing at a high level” but also appropriate given the price. The service was super fast and courteous. At the beginning it was almost a bit too quick, as the food was brought to the table in such quick succession that it became hectic before you had drunk your right wine. The wine accompaniment was "okay", not bad, but could have been a little more detailed for the price. 1st course: Three kinds of carrots = cold starter with good products but a lack of sophistication. Acidity and flavor peaks were missing here. Unfortunately there was something about “raw food”. Great idea, but needs improvement. 2nd course: Egg yolk with potato espuma and spinach = spinach was perfect and went well with the truffle. The egg was very tasty but just a little too far. The potato espuma was more of a (tasty) mashed potato, which in combination with the egg unfortunately made the whole dish a bit dry. 3rd course: Ravioli with pumpkin ricotta, amaretto foam and amarettini = best course of the evening, great pasta and a nice crunch from the amarettini - nothing to complain about. 4th course: Braised beef cheek = celery puree good, but nothing special, root vegetables intense, beef cheek very tender, red wine jus very lacquer and more of a beef jus than a red wine jus. It's hard to go wrong with this dish. That's how it tasted too. Tasty, as expected, but without any trick. We would have liked more here. 5th course: Vanilla = good vanilla espuma, which could have been flamed a little more for the crunch, in a successful combination with the pineapple. All in all, we had a good meal, which you won't find of this quality at a run-of-the-mill Italian restaurant. However, the price and the menu led us to expect more. We were very slightly “disappointed” in the end. Personally, I found that the menu lacked acidity, saltiness and spiciness throughout, especially in 4 out of 5 courses, the Crunch. PS: The wine prices (at least when accompanied by wine) are at the upper end of what is acceptable - not to say slightly too expensive.

We were here on New Year's Eve 2023 and were able to enjoy the perfect New Year's Eve menu. Each wine was perfectly matched to the course. Great service, great location, simply A1 P.s just music could be more suitable for the location, e.g. soft jazz during dinner :)

My husband and I found this culinary treasure a few years ago, and now make it a tradition to come for dinner every time we are visiting family in Nuremberg. We always get the tasting menu and have yet to be disappointed. The value for the amount and quality of food you get is great. Our servers have always been attentive and have made each of our dining experiences special. This is always one of our highlights on vacation. Keep up the good work!

Recommended by Michelin, we thought we could not be totally disappointed.... Worse is the cooking, at the level of a hospital cantine. Pseudo researches in tastes which reveal disastrous. Menu is minimal: choice between meat and fish, full stop. Waiters are unexperienced. Prices are though the roof for such bad food.

A terrific meal enjoyed by all. The food was delicious. The staff was enthusiastic and attentive. The quality was gourmet. Don’t expect a red sauce experience. This was exquisite.

Gehobener Italiener mit sehr gutem Essen! Empfehlenswert sind die Menues. Das Ambiente ist eine Mischung aus rustikal und sehr gediegene. Der Service ist aufmerksam, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Einzig es könnte mehr Leidenschaft dabei sein.

Das Essen ausgezeichnet und für den Preis völlig in Ordnung. Die Preise für den Wein 🍷 allerdings völlig übertrieben. Es gibt nur eine Sorte Bier mit 0,33 und eine Sorte alkoholfreies Bier, auch nur 0,33. Das Hauptaugenmerk liegt hier bei dem Wein.. 0,1 für 15€!! Deswegen und nur deswegen komplett 3Sterne.

Leider ist der Service sehr schlecht geworden, falsche Gerichte wurden Gebracht und der Geschmack war nicht wirklich dem Preis entsprechend.

Spend your money somewhere else. 65EU for small fish and 2 glasses of win ..at least if it was tasty 🤔

Ein von außen unscheinbarer Italiener mit sehr gutem Essen und einem aufmerksamen und professionellen Service. Die Gerichte sind raffiniert, gut kombiniert und werden als Augenschmaus präsentiert.

Kapitän Iglo von Nürnberg…? Top Location, schöne Weinauswahl, bemühtes Personal alles mega und das für eine Messestadt ….! Schönes Restaurant nur leider war es nicht möglich einen Steinbutt serviert zu bekommen der nicht nur nach Fisch sondern auch wirklich nach Steinbutt schmeckt…drei mal in Pfanne gestorben, das hat dieser herrliche Fisch einfach nicht verdient….Danke für den schönen Abend

Essen war gut, Weinbegleitung fanden wir nichts besonderes. Meine Meinung nach überteuert: 240€ für zwei 4 Gänge Menü und Wein. Insgesamt in Ordnung, aber müssen wir nicht unbedingt wiederholen.

Das beste Restaurant in dem ich beslang dinniere durfte. Absolute Empfehlung, bester Service. Eine Erfahrung die man nicht vergessen wird!

Zum ersten Mal da: Essen, Service und Ambiente wirklich sehr gut. Preise für die Speisen grenzwertig, bei den Getränken leider nicht mehr angemessen: Offene Weine (0,1 !!!) extrem teuer und eine Karaffe Leitungswasser steht mit satten 5 Euro auf der Rechnung. Schade!

Italienische Küche vom Allerfeinsten

Elegantes Restaurant und doch gemütlich. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt. Ein Kellner hat unsere Mäntel in die Garderobe gebracht, ein anderer hat und uns zum Tisch begleitet. Sehr aufmerksam! Es wurde ein 6 Gänge Menü angeboten, 5 Gänge oder 4 Gänge waren auch möglich. Zusätzlich gab es eine Speisekarte. Wir haben das 5 Gänge Menü gewählt mit Weinbegleitung. Bevor das Essen serviert wurde, wurde Brot und eine schmackhafte Creme sowie ein Gruß aus der Küche gereicht.Jedes Gericht war ein Traum und der Wein immer passend. Das Personal war aufmerksam aber nicht aufdringlich. Die Speisen wurden souverän serviert und das jeweilige Gericht erklärt. Zwischen den Gänge wurde genügend Zeit gelassen. Wir konnten alles genießen ganz ohne Stress. Wir wurden sehr verwöhnt, es war ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis und ein entspannter Abend. Auch wenn die Preise gehoben sind, so sind sie gerechtfertigt.

Wir hatten hier unser Hochzeitsessen und wir möchten uns nochmals für den super tollen und wahnsinnig leckeren Abend bedanken ! Das Essen war ein Traum ! Auf die persönlichen Wünsche wurde bei der Planung voll und ganz eingegangen und wir wurden zu jeder Zeit super betreut ! Die Küche und der Weinkeller sind der Wahnsinn ! Gerne wieder !

This lovely Italian restaurant simply deserves a higher ranking than so many others in Nürnberg. Dining with Leonardo is like dining as a guest in the home of an elegant man who know a good wine and how to cook a great meal. The setting is intimate without feeling claustrophobic. The food is so well prepared and changes with the week. The wine cellar is a place I want to go see sometime as it seems endless. It’s always a joy to eat dinner here. Do yourself a favor and let Leonardo choose your meal and your wine for you and just be surprised. I’m a very big fan.
