The food is simply very well done. And tastes great. Service really nice. And since I really appreciate good food, I would like to say something at this point for people who write reviews: Mistakes happen. And if a meal is burnt, you can have it brought back again. If the food really doesn't taste good, you can give it a rating. Especially if you have read the predominantly good reviews beforehand. Which then tells the intelligent person that there must have been a little faux pas here. And the rule has not been revealed here. I find writing that you can't explain how all the good reviews come about to be premature and, to be honest, just hateful.

We were here on April 12th, 2024 to celebrate our wedding, we celebrated with about 60 people. It was beautiful and we were very happy with everything. The owner Arne Meyer spoke to us several times and always had an open ear. We were also able to adjust the schedule on site at short notice to suit the celebration. We had the best day of our lives here and hope that many more celebrations will take place here. P.S. The food was very good and there was something for everyone. We booked a buffet. Slechte bediening. Moesten overal zelf om vragen voelden ons absoluut niet welkom. Het voorgerecht was prima. Hoofdgerecht was de vis te ver waardoor hij droog was. Het dessert hebben we overgeslagen omdat na ons hoofdgerecht de borden werden weggehaald en niemand kwam vragen of we nog iets wilde. Daarna na een kwartier met een lege tafel en lege glazen om de rekening gevraagd

Eat like grandma's and that's what it looks like there too. Small and cozy. Always a must when you are in Hamburg. Delicious home cooking without any frills. That's how it should be and keep it up. There is no need to say more. Unless you book a table in advance.
