I ordered from them, to my regret the fries were wobbly, partly wet, so you have to pay attention to the correct packaging and transport, the schnitzel was also completely wet, unfortunately I threw both away. The goulash was very watery and tasteless. Unfortunately the food was hardly salty and I was really sad. Only the salad was halfway okay. It may be that the food on site scores points but delivery was really very bad.

Cute old building in HH Cranz with a terrace at the back on the Este. We were there for a delicious meal. Fresh and crispy, plus a friendly and very nice team. That only rarely happens anymore. We are looking forward to the warmer days and the garden.

We were here on April 12th, 2024 to celebrate our wedding, we celebrated with about 60 people. It was beautiful and we were very happy with everything. The owner Arne Meyer spoke to us several times and always had an open ear. We were also able to adjust the schedule on site at short notice to suit the celebration. We had the best day of our lives here and hope that many more celebrations will take place here. P.S. The food was very good and there was something for everyone. We booked a buffet. Wir hatten das Menü über "Hamburg kulinarisch" gewählt - Essen geschmacklich sehr gut und sehr schön präsentiert. Für vier Personen gibt es schöne große Tische - zu zweit würde man eher dicht beieinander sitzen und dicht zum Nachbartisch sein. Ansonsten schöne Atmosphäre - ruhige Musik und sehr gut, um sich zu unterhalten. Kleine Abzüge für die Chefin des Hauses - leider nicht besonders emphatisch und zugewandt.

Wonderful food in a cozy atmosphere! We had a great evening at Restaurant Heimat! The atmosphere is extremely cozy and inviting – you immediately feel at home. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, which made the stay even more pleasant. There were three of us there and we all chose the Käsespätzle – an excellent choice! The portions were just right, leaving you full without feeling overloaded. For dessert we had the curd cheese pancakes, which were simply heavenly - perfect in taste and consistency. An all-round great experience that we would be happy to repeat at any time. Absolute recommendation!

I was there with my husband on a Saturday morning. We went in and wanted to sit down. Didn't realize we should have reserved ahead of time. The waitress came to us with an inappropriate tone and said: You can't just walk through and sit down, you have to wait at the door. That wasn't friendly at all. We were then given two places to choose from because we didn't reserve. When we wanted to order we asked if it was possible for me to get a children's portion as I can't eat that much due to my stomach. In a cutesy tone we got the answer that this wasn't possible and that's why you have the other alternatives. The alternatives are: spaetzle and then a salad. However, that's a big portion and I can't eat it. The delicious food came very quickly. The waiting time was surprisingly short. The portion size is really huge and tastes great! The caramelized onions were particularly good! Unfortunately, from our seat we could see the waitress preparing the small salads, which come in one portion, by hand. The salad was simply taken out of small silver containers by hand and portioned into a small bowl. Which in itself isn't a problem if you wash your hands beforehand. But if you accept payments beforehand and enter orders on the PC and then do that with the message, that's not so good... The ambience is fine. Small shop but somehow very cute.. Btw: we sat there for around 25 minutes and ate. Apparently none of the reservations came during our stay and the store was just as full when we left as when we entered.
