We made a reservation a long time ago. We came for dinner. They made me sit on the table in front of the toilet, one goal per minute. However, the four tables in the front were empty. There's always someone passing by. Discomfort is at its peak. Anyway, we ordered, ordered spatzle, it was good. Portions are abnormally large. I don't know if there is a half portion option, but half a portion will be enough for a normal hungry person. Because it gets boring after a while. We left immediately because our seat was bad. It would be better if we sat a little longer, we could think about dessert or something. We would have some fun. Maybe this was not intended. As far as I can see, the same kind of treatment was given to other commentators. I think a restaurant is good and In order to be considered in the recommendable category, you need to be able to say "I would go again". Personally, I didn't think so. After all, there is a risk of being seated at those tables.

Super super recommended and really delicious! I can especially recommend the homemade Maultaschen. There are also enough vegetarian dishes, service was absolutely top and it's also a nice restaurant. It's very small there, so it's worth making a reservation!

Good Swabian cuisine is rarely found in Hamburg, so we wanted to give the snack bar a chance. The shop is very small and cozy, the food (Spätzle) was very tasty and exactly as I imagined it. But the price was very high - we paid just under 45 euros for two people with drinks. Then they're just spaetzle. The tone of the service was rough. You could say "typical Hamburger Schnack" but you didn't necessarily feel welcome.

We left the restaurant with what felt like 10 kg more. Taste: 10!!!!, Ambience: 10 Friendliness and feel-good factor: 10!!!!!!!!!!! We ate there on March 12th and the two girls were really great in every way!! You should really keep such a staff (a salary increase 😇 should be included) Food indescribably delicious!!!!!

A very cute place. Everything is a bit tight. It's written outside, Swabian snack bar. The food came quite quickly. It tasted delicious. The service was really incredibly nice.

I was there with my husband on a Saturday morning. We went in and wanted to sit down. Didn't realize we should have reserved ahead of time. The waitress came to us with an inappropriate tone and said: You can't just walk through and sit down, you have to wait at the door. That wasn't friendly at all. We were then given two places to choose from because we didn't reserve. When we wanted to order we asked if it was possible for me to get a children's portion as I can't eat that much due to my stomach. In a cutesy tone we got the answer that this wasn't possible and that's why you have the other alternatives. The alternatives are: spaetzle and then a salad. However, that's a big portion and I can't eat it. The delicious food came very quickly. The waiting time was surprisingly short. The portion size is really huge and tastes great! The caramelized onions were particularly good! Unfortunately, from our seat we could see the waitress preparing the small salads, which come in one portion, by hand. The salad was simply taken out of small silver containers by hand and portioned into a small bowl. Which in itself isn't a problem if you wash your hands beforehand. But if you accept payments beforehand and enter orders on the PC and then do that with the message, that's not so good... The ambience is fine. Small shop but somehow very cute.. Btw: we sat there for around 25 minutes and ate. Apparently none of the reservations came during our stay and the store was just as full when we left as when we entered.

Die Portionen sind absolut ausreichend und die Preise mehr als nur fair. Wer es planen kann, sollte jedoch einen Tisch reservieren. Wir hatten Glück, da wir am Nachmittag dort eingekehrt sind.

A local German restaurant. They make fresh homemade pasta. When choosing meat, be careful as they use a mixture of pork and cow. Pasta was very delicious. The portion is very large, two different flavors should be chosen and eaten. I chose red German wine as local, it had a taste close to vinegar. The blue girl serving looked very tired. I don't know if it was because of that, but he was very rude. There were three empty tables for two people. He made us sit at the last table in front of the toilet. It was like we had dinner in the ward. The environment looked very nice when we entered, but of course we couldn't see it from where we were sitting. A place to stop by and eat during the day. But don't waste your night for dinner.

Such lovely service and really delicious food!🥹🤝🏼 but a really big portion for someone thin like me😅 next time I'll take the option 'spätzle with salad 3/4' or something like that. It's a super relaxed, pleasant atmosphere and you feel very comfortable. I asked beforehand if I could take the dog with me when I made the reservation and was told it was tight but it was fine for them. Then I was assigned a special place where there was a little more space on the side so that I could put the dog there! Very accommodating and personable! I can only recommend :)

We became aware of the Zum Spätzle restaurant in Hamburg by chance. It is a true paradise for all lovers of Swabian cuisine! Here you can find traditional, homemade spaetzle that tastes simply heavenly - whether classic with cheese, hearty with bacon or in a creative version. Every portion is prepared with a lot of love and tastes like grandma's at home. The rustic, cozy atmosphere creates a pleasant feel-good atmosphere, and the service is friendly, attentive and warm. You can immediately tell that the cooking here is done with passion and high quality. We will come back on our next visit to Hamburg.

If yesterday's gentleman wasn't lying, today apparently EVERYTHING was cooked from scratch. We were there with 6 people and ate through the menu once. The dishes were all perfectly prepared, seasoned and presented...the team was apparently also replaced🤣 We were completely satisfied. Where did the gentleman actually pay 30-40 euros for a dish? Where I was there wasn't a dish over 20 euros🤔

Simple canteen food at reasonable prices. The food, however, was pretty bland. Really not recommended.

The food is very tasty, the portions are very good. I thought it was nice that you could order the Maultaschen in different varieties. The salad portion with the spaetzle was also a very good alternative for people who don't just want to eat spaetzle. The shop was always full, so you should definitely make a reservation here!

Nice shop, invites you to linger. The food is delicious, but also simple - although making spaetzle poses a certain challenge. The whole thing is definitely hearty and filling, so arrive hungry. It's not that big there, so a reservation is recommended.

Your portions are getting smaller and smaller. If you pay 18.40 euros (!!) for a portion of cabbage spaetzle with cheese and sauce, then you should at least get enough from it and not have to spread bread afterwards. And there wasn't enough sauce either. Too bad!

Uriges, kleines Lokal in einer schönen Gegend, die sich auch unabhängig vom Essen für einen Bummel lohnt. Nach einem Michel-Besuch eine schöne Alternative zum Portugiesenviertel. Essen phantastisch, frisch zubereitet und mit hochwertigen Zutaten, auf den Punkt gewürzt. Allerdings schon mächtige Portionen, bei kleinerem Hunger sollte man darauf hinweisen und wird entsprechend zu Alternativen beraten. Sehr freundlicher Service, der alles top organisiert und alle Wünsche erfüllt. Immer gern wieder.

Absolutely delicious and filling German traditional food in a cosy wee restaurant. The host was delightful and very organised and efficient. Although he was busy he was charming with excellent English. Everything we ate was wholesome and tasty. We enjoyed finishing with the local fruit schnapps too.

Now a must visit on our Hamburg trips. On the third attempt I was finally lucky that there were still Maultaschen there. These, as well as the spaetzle (with meatloaf) were very tasty.

The shop is a bit smaller and narrower, but very cozy. However, you should really avoid peak times during the lunch break. A lot of orders are also made outside the home, so there are slightly longer waiting times. The atmosphere is very cozy. The dishes and lunch menu offered are wonderful. And the portions are more than generous.

I'm totally thrilled! Really delicious spaetzle in the north. What could be better? Went there at lunchtime and felt like we were sitting in the castle next to the people at the table next to us. A bit too cozy for me personally but the food definitely makes up for it.

Work just in the corner in a office and during the week it’s always full. Tried to go this Sunday and asked for a place to sit alone and they said they are full. Clearly the guy didn’t do any effort to make me fit on a table free in the middle of other people (there were two seats) or on the balcony where there was only one person, and a free seat on her side. I will definitely try again for the food, but already knowing about the lack of sympathy. Edit: went at the same week during lunch time and the only person available was very friendly and helped us with picking the order. Good food, payment with card possible. You need to squeeze in between people to fit there as the tables are too close to each other.

It was our first time there and we were surprised at how tiny the shop is. The whole shop exudes its own flair and invites you to sit down comfortably and eat the most delicious spaetzle you can get up here in the north. My girlfriend loves cheese spaetzle and is very critical about it, but she fell in love with the food and the atmosphere from the first bite. Highly recommended! But due to the very limited number of tables, it is advisable to reserve well in advance.

Unfortunately I can't say anything good about the store. 6 years ago I was there with my family and several of us, including me, got food poisoning. Then I was there again a month ago and this time I got a gastrointestinal virus. Both very unpleasant and I'm afraid to go there again.

Unfortunately not a nice place. Reserved in advance with a note for people with walking difficulties. Unfortunately we didn't even get in. Because there was a large refrigerator in front of the entrance that we couldn't get past. When we asked why they had responded to our reservation, they only said that disabled people meant a person with a cane. Well. Very sad 😢...

Found it by chance while looking for a place to have dinner. All the greater the surprise to find such a cozy restaurant. The spaetzle was very tasty and so was the thread soup.

I've wanted to go here for years. Today it finally worked. I got super delicious food at a moderate price, rounded off with great service.

I was here a few days ago and I don't normally write Google reviews, but this experience stuck in my mind. The food itself was good and was brought to us by a nice waitress who, when asked for a recommendation, answered honestly with “unfortunately it's my first day”, but still gave us recommendations. During the course of the evening we noticed how the cook unpleasantly put down the waitress for every question. Unfortunately this really affected our experience, please consider changing staff (cook).

The non-vegan food is fantastic, so the taste is really great!! BUT the vegan cheese spaetzle was an absolute failure, with no real taste and more like porridge than solid food :( I think that's a really great shame because otherwise I always thought the restaurant was great!

A really great restaurant with very nice service and extremely good food. I know spaetzle very well from my hometown, but the variations that were available here surprised me very positively and gave me a lot of inspiration for my own cuisine. I would like to try more here!

So the food was a 10/10. We once had the cheese spaetzle with sauce and the spaetzle with sauce and cheese. Yes, they are two different dishes. If you like the typical cheese spaetzle, you should order these too. They're a bit squishy :)

I couldn't eat here. When I came on Friday at 8 p.m. they said the kitchen was closed. When I came on Sunday there was this note hanging on the door. So I think you should have a plan B before you go here.

Nice atmosphere, friendly service, fast. However, I didn't like the spaetzle, I was expecting a juicier, longer soft version. But here they seem to serve fried pieces that are about the size of a chickpea. Maybe they're fried, but I think that's excess fat.

The two of us are there again for dinner. One Maultaschen filled with beef and the lady had one Maultaschen with vegetarian filling. Simply delicious 😀
