Sweet new achievement in Ottensen! Fantastically beautiful and incredibly delicious spaetzle! Were there at lunchtime today and were served by a very nice young gentleman. Always happy and highly recommended. We'll be back

True to the motto: I grew up thanks to spaetzle with sauce 🤩 - there is very tasty Swabian food here.

Now a must visit on our Hamburg trips. On the third attempt I was finally lucky that there were still Maultaschen there. These, as well as the spaetzle (with meatloaf) were very tasty.

The shop is a bit smaller and narrower, but very cozy. However, you should really avoid peak times during the lunch break. A lot of orders are also made outside the home, so there are slightly longer waiting times. The atmosphere is very cozy. The dishes and lunch menu offered are wonderful. And the portions are more than generous.

I'm totally thrilled! Really delicious spaetzle in the north. What could be better? Went there at lunchtime and felt like we were sitting in the castle next to the people at the table next to us. A bit too cozy for me personally but the food definitely makes up for it.

The food is super delicious! Unfortunately the employees were very unfriendly. It's a small shop with limited seating and only 1 or 2 tables outside.

Work just in the corner in a office and during the week it’s always full. Tried to go this Sunday and asked for a place to sit alone and they said they are full. Clearly the guy didn’t do any effort to make me fit on a table free in the middle of other people (there were two seats) or on the balcony where there was only one person, and a free seat on her side. I will definitely try again for the food, but already knowing about the lack of sympathy. Edit: went at the same week during lunch time and the only person available was very friendly and helped us with picking the order. Good food, payment with card possible. You need to squeeze in between people to fit there as the tables are too close to each other.

Always very tasty here. I love coming here because there is something for everyone.

It was our first time there and we were surprised at how tiny the shop is. The whole shop exudes its own flair and invites you to sit down comfortably and eat the most delicious spaetzle you can get up here in the north. My girlfriend loves cheese spaetzle and is very critical about it, but she fell in love with the food and the atmosphere from the first bite. Highly recommended! But due to the very limited number of tables, it is advisable to reserve well in advance.

Unfortunately I can't say anything good about the store. 6 years ago I was there with my family and several of us, including me, got food poisoning. Then I was there again a month ago and this time I got a gastrointestinal virus. Both very unpleasant and I'm afraid to go there again.

Unfortunately not a nice place. Reserved in advance with a note for people with walking difficulties. Unfortunately we didn't even get in. Because there was a large refrigerator in front of the entrance that we couldn't get past. When we asked why they had responded to our reservation, they only said that disabled people meant a person with a cane. Well. Very sad 😢...

Found it by chance while looking for a place to have dinner. All the greater the surprise to find such a cozy restaurant. The spaetzle was very tasty and so was the thread soup.

I've wanted to go here for years. Today it finally worked. I got super delicious food at a moderate price, rounded off with great service.

I was here a few days ago and I don't normally write Google reviews, but this experience stuck in my mind. The food itself was good and was brought to us by a nice waitress who, when asked for a recommendation, answered honestly with “unfortunately it's my first day”, but still gave us recommendations. During the course of the evening we noticed how the cook unpleasantly put down the waitress for every question. Unfortunately this really affected our experience, please consider changing staff (cook).

Amazing vegan options! I highly recommend the cheese spätzle with smoked tofu!

The non-vegan food is fantastic, so the taste is really great!! BUT the vegan cheese spaetzle was an absolute failure, with no real taste and more like porridge than solid food :( I think that's a really great shame because otherwise I always thought the restaurant was great!

The meal was a symphony of the senses! The presentation, composition and sensory stimulation of the tongue was terrific. The experience in combination with courteous employees takes you to grandma's fairytale forest ;) 10/10 would do again

A really great restaurant with very nice service and extremely good food. I know spaetzle very well from my hometown, but the variations that were available here surprised me very positively and gave me a lot of inspiration for my own cuisine. I would like to try more here!

Small, well-arranged shop in an inconspicuous “alley”. We showed up spontaneously and without a reservation and were fortunately able to get a table. Service prompt and friendly; Food excellent and rich. Priced completely reasonable. Would love to come back.

Sweet little restaurant in Hamburg.

I couldn't eat here. When I came on Friday at 8 p.m. they said the kitchen was closed. When I came on Sunday there was this note hanging on the door. So I think you should have a plan B before you go here.

So the food was a 10/10. We once had the cheese spaetzle with sauce and the spaetzle with sauce and cheese. Yes, they are two different dishes. If you like the typical cheese spaetzle, you should order these too. They're a bit squishy :)

I've only ordered so far, but it was super tasty. It's a shame that the roast sauce is not vegetarian and that there is no alternative hearty sauce, but even so the cheese spaetzle was perfect. There is a wide range of vegetarian dishes and even vegan options

Nice atmosphere, friendly service, fast. However, I didn't like the spaetzle, I was expecting a juicier, longer soft version. But here they seem to serve fried pieces that are about the size of a chickpea. Maybe they're fried, but I think that's excess fat.

The two of us are there again for dinner. One Maultaschen filled with beef and the lady had one Maultaschen with vegetarian filling. Simply delicious 😀

I tried the spätzle here and was pleasantly surprised! The combination of tender spätzle with the peppery arugula and crumbly parmesan was a flavor explosion. And the spätzle with the juicy schnitzel reminded me of home cooking. The nice atmosphere and great service rounded out the positive experience. I recommend it to all spätzle lovers!

Excellente expérience, restaurant repéré dans un guide et qui vaut effectivement plus que le détour : personnel vraiment charmant, très indulgent avec notre mauvais niveau d'allemand et aux petits soins. Belles découvertes, qu'il s'agisse du plat, de la boisson à la rhubarbe ou de la pâtisserie de fin de repas. Hautement recommandable !

Small but nice card. Delicious Maultaschen and cheese spaetzle, exactly what the Swabian needs far from home. We were really looked after very kindly. Our little one didn't want anything but cucumbers, so he got some straight away. Food came quickly too.

The place is very small and the food isn’t so good for all the reviews it has. The toilet is so dirty and seems not to be cleaned for weeks.

Wat nu Hamburg! Hier serveert men de Zuid-Duitse oftewel Schwabische deeggerechten. Spätzle en Maultaschen; dat is het zo'n beetje. Maar met trost en vol vriendelijkheid. We hadden niet gereserveerd toen we ornd zessen aankwamen, maar men wilde graag inschikken en we konden toch eten. De entourage van dit kleine restaurant is niet bijzonder, maar het eten des te meer. Zoals gezegd: deegwaren met allerlei bereidingen. Ook veel vegetarische varianten en voor de kleintjes zijn bijna alle schotels in kinderportie te krijgen. Een zeer goede keuze voor een echte Duitse hap en nog goed betaalbaar voor Hamburgse begrippen.

A cuisine that, as a Swabian, I was very happy to find in Hamburg. The cheese spaetzle is excellent and the pancake soup would also be prepared like this by a Swabian grandma. It's very positive that there are many vegetarian or vegan dishes. The only thing missing is some Swabian potato salad on the salad plate.

The place is tiny and cosy. In some times you either are lucky or have a reservation. Small fairly hidden bistro that is worth visiting, you cannot really go wrong with food here.

Highly Recommended. We came spontaneously in the hope of getting a place for three. We were able to get a seat at the counter with a view of some of the tables and the street, very comfortable. Recommendation reserved, after us some had to move on hungry. Super delicious spaetzle, with cheese, gravy and pesto. Both the waitress and the cook are very nice and helpful. Updated 07/2024 Still a recommendation to make a reservation, Zum Spätzle has many friends and during our meal some had to move on hungry. It was very tasty again! We stop here on every trip to Hamburg.

Very delicious and homemade food. They treated us excellently and with a lot of good vibes. I recommend the place if you like goulash. I was surprised by the pesto dishes. Also, abundant dishes. Likewise, you must know that there is little variety of food.

A small restaurant in the Neustadt of Hamburg - a small piece of Swabia in the far north. Small menu with a focus on Maultaschen and Spätzle. Very nice service. And a nice ambience in a small space. Decent portions that fill you up. The last star comes when I can eat the Maultaschen - unfortunately they were always sold out when I visited.

The food was very tasty and the portion was large, only the meatloaf was quite dry. Service very nice and accommodating. If you're in the mood for spaetzle, it's always a good option

A very small and rustic snack bar with a great. Offer everything related to spaetzle. Great home cooking in a very small but cozy dining room from which you can look into the even smaller, partly open kitchen. Great advice, absolutely delicious and the soup in particular reminded me of grandma. Absolutely recommended and always happy again. Due to the limited number of seats, reservations might make sense. Top spot in Hamburg!!

Yummy kas spatzle with meatloaf. So happy we found a restaurant that serves a good spatzle. Btw The portion is huge (I think it’s enough for 3 ppl to share), so be mindful of that. I think it’s quite value for money €20.90

Tastes almost like grandma makes it! Super tasty swabian food with big portions, clearly made with lots of love. Almost everything in the menu is also available as vegan. Both the waitress and the cook were super friendly and nice to talk to. A little bit small, but that only adds to the swabian Wirtshaus-flair. Reservations are definitely recommended, and as the Maultaschen are hand made they sometimes might not be available.

Luckily for us to have a seat among the office lunch crowd, to try out the traditional German food Spatzle. Portion is a little huge for us but the food and taste is decent. Please go try out if you are in the area.

Unfortunately, the vegan cheese spaetzle didn't taste like much and the portion wasn't very large. Unfortunately we sat right next to the door, which was open all the time so it was very fresh. Service was good :)

Came across this cute restaurant through a recommendation 🥰 It's something different than always eating the same thing for lunch. My friend had the normal cheese spaetzle (side salad) and I had the salad cheese spaetzle (more salad than a side salad), which was perfect for me because the portion was really great and it definitely filled you up. The owner is super friendly and on the go, sweet atmosphere, unfortunately we sat a bit in the aisle, but still with enough space.
