It was a weekend, late afternoon, and there was almost nothing to eat. It wasn't until 6 p.m. Cleaning more often would also be an option. But the service was super friendly.

The food was delicious 😋, fresh, and beautifully prepared. I was very happy with the €4 water charge per person. The portions for the main course could have been a bit larger. We weren't completely full. We ordered dessert, which was also really delicious. We'd love to come back!

Heimat pleasantly surprised us. Our evening visit was a last resort, but it turned out to be a fantastic choice. The food and service were top-notch. I think the flat-rate water charge is a quirk. It's especially suitable for families. The staff are quick to accommodate special requests.

We highly recommend Heimat and will eat there again if we are in Hamburg again.

Great concept! I particularly liked the dark interior design, lovely (and I loooove those chandeliers)! The service was really good, and the menu was pleasantly clear! There was little to complain about with my meal (the paprika chicken)! I personally really liked the excellent espresso, that aroma... Thank you!

The menu combines regional ingredients with creative ideas, making each dish a small work of art—both visually and taste-wise. Particularly noteworthy is the attentive and friendly service, which makes your stay even more enjoyable. The wine selection is carefully selected and perfectly complements the dishes. Here, you can feel the attention to detail in every detail. A restaurant that you'll happily recommend and want to visit again and again.

The atmosphere was very nice. The food was good but comparatively expensive. The frittata soup lacked a bit of flavor. But the other dishes were nicely presented.

Good german food. The kids meny was not super kids friendly in my opinion. The staf was superfriendly so they made the on extra star.

food was AMAZING, i got a chicken supreme, with mashed potoes and graped, they were all amazing and the grapes really enhanced it the server was good, and even ran after us with our concert tickets i gave a atmosphere 4 stars couse you cannot see anything there, its way too dark

A little late, but I have to leave a review, because the food was amazing. The only thing that could have been better was the brightness of the dining area, because it was very dark. But everything else was so good, we really didn't mind. The waiters even ran after us with our Philharmonia tickets that we left at the table. Thank you so much!

Great! Four of us went to Heimat for a birthday dinner. The service was incredibly friendly, warm, and accommodating. The food was exceptionally delicious and special. The garnish was superb and tasteful. The portions were a good size – the "heavy eaters" among us had an appetizer and were overall quite full. There are vegan and vegetarian options. We'd love to go again! Dogs are allowed in the restaurant and are also well treated.

A very, very nice restaurant. Very polite, attentive staff with excellent advice. You simply feel at home in the restaurant. The food is first-class (5 stars). I would 1000% recommend it. And if we're ever back in Hamburg, we'll be happy to go back.

It's definitely a memorable location. The menu is limited, but that's okay. There's something for every taste, and you don't need a huge selection for good food... The restaurant is part of the neighboring 25hours Hotel. The restroom is also located there—but it's decorated in a fun way. The ambiance is beautiful and tranquil, slightly gloomy, but not too dark. The pan-fried fish was delicious 😋

Great restaurant. Small but good menu. The starter was very limited in quantity, but exceptionally good in taste. Truly outstanding. The main courses were also in the top 10% in terms of taste. The service was attentive, and the ambiance was pleasant. Only the noise level was a bit high. Perhaps it would be worthwhile to invest in some soundproofing.

Visited at lunchtime. From 12:00 to 17:00 you can only order from a narrow lunch menu. The food was excellent. The waiters were polite. The only downside is that it is stuffy inside the restaurant.

The service is quite good. They have tasting menus on the menu, where the dishes are placed in the center of the table and shared. The seasoning and quantity are just right and enough to leave satisfied. Everything tastes good. The atmosphere is calm, the bathrooms are clean, and the wine and liquor list is extensive.

What a fantastic meal we had today at the Heimat Restaurant in the 25hours Hotel HafenCity Hamburg. I come here often, and it's always exceptionally good. A big thank you to Sous Chef Alessandro and his team in the kitchen. Of course, the service was also very attentive and offered great recommendations for food and wine from the Michael Andres winery.

Excelente comida y servicio. Ok es £ 80 por cabeza con vino, pero la calidad era de primera categoría. Pollo Veloute era fantástico para el sabor al igual que Veal Entrecôte y Cordon Bleu de cerdo. Pudín era manzana verde en jugo de flor de saúco con helado de manzana. delicioso. En general muy agradable. Puede recomendar.

A slight delay before the main course (approximately 20 minutes; appetizers and bread arrived in 5-10 minutes beforehand) was met with a very friendly welcome, with a free sorbet as an intermezzo and a free coffee afterward – something we didn't expect and didn't necessarily think was necessary. Price/Performance 12/10

My husband and I opted for the set menu for €47. We each ordered a glass of wine and water. We also had an aperitif beforehand. The service was "charmingly intrusive," and I mean that in a very positive way! We felt well looked after and appreciated throughout. The kitchen was simply phenomenal—not only the presentation of the dishes, but especially the taste, exceeded our expectations! The portions were unusually large for a set menu—we felt like two rockets about to explode! It was a good thing that after dinner, we only had a few meters to the elevator and then all we could do was collapse into bed. WARNING: WE'LL BE AGAIN!!!

Großartiges Essen! Wir haben jeden Bissen genossen. Anfänglich war wir etwas verhalten wegen der hohen Preise, aber das Essen war jeden Cent wert. Selbst unsere Kinder haben ein frisches und wirklich leckeres Essen bekommen (endlich ein Restaurant mit einer guten Auswahl an Kindergerichten). Das Interieur ist ziemlich dunkel, sodass wir Schwierigkeiten hatten die Karte zu lesen, aber der charmante Kellner hat das wieder wettgemacht. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Very attentive and courteous service staff. Super delicious bread. Exciting choice of dishes. The point is deducted because coriander was used untypically in my dish, but it was not pointed out. I find that very difficult with such a polarizing ingredient. I didn't like it. But the other dishes were very tasty.

A stylish, contemporary furnished restaurant. The food was great, the service was great, the space for two people was limited and too close to other guests. I missed the Kaiserschmarrn but made up for it with the recipe card for the Kaiserschmarrn at home. All in all a great restaurant.

We arrived at 4.30pm on a Friday and then only lunch food was served, so not much to choose from. Nice, though, that it was only German food, wine and beer.

Friendly service. The ambience is black and very dark. The loud sound of indefinable music is not very pleasant. The food ordered is nicely prepared, but very clear. Or to put it another way: price-performance is wrong. A new visit is not planned.

There were six of us there on Sunday. Food excellent, service so-so, you have to ask for everything, bread, water, wine list... first a recommendation from the kitchen is made and later when you order what is not available... that was disappointing. Would have liked more friendliness and hostess for this type of restaurant.
