Wir waren das erste Mal in diesem Restaurant aber mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte Mal. Einfach spitze!

We have been coming for duck dinners in December for 5 years. There is no better one. Crispy, not fatty, red cabbage and sauce as well as croquettes are also super tasty

Pure culinary delight! Fantastic family restaurant with a very courteous and competent team. We were warmly welcomed as house guests by the family and team and felt welcome from the start. The fish dishes (salmon, zander fillet and sole) were always fresh and excellently prepared - the duck was super tender and crispy - for dessert I couldn't get enough of the crème brûlée! Many greetings from the Electoral Palatinate to the Kramer family & the team - we'll be back! 🙂 Peter & Silke

We were visiting for a long weekend for a short vacation and booked the “Elbblick” guest room, which is more like a small, fully equipped apartment. This is very comfortably furnished and the view is really beautiful. We ate there twice because we were really impressed by the food. My father-in-law said he had never eaten such good duck. Unfortunately, the choice for vegetarians is very limited as there is mainly fish and meat, but you can easily order croquettes or fries for children. The prices on the menu are not entirely unreasonable, but they are worth every euro. The Kramers really gave us a very warm welcome. Here, hospitality is still a real thing, so that you are greeted personally at the table and have a little chat. Everyone puts their heart and soul into it. This also applies to employees. All in all, we can only recommend it and who knows, maybe we'll end up heading towards Hamburg again.

Very nice inn with very good German cuisine. For me and my wife there was duck with boiled potatoes, red cabbage and roast jus. The duck was super tender and very tasty. The service was super friendly and left nothing to be desired. All in all, a very nice evening that I would recommend to everyone.

The four of us spontaneously came to this fish restaurant. However, on the advice of the competent and humorous Dutch service staff, we decided not to eat fish in favor of autumnal duck and venison veal steak - an excellent choice in every respect, everything was prepared to perfection. Apple crumble with cinnamon ice cream went very well with this as a dessert. The service looked after us unobtrusively, and the boss also asked how we were. The ambience is stylishly maritime-inspired. All in all, an unconditional recommendation. Here we make sure that you are well. At the next announced traffic jam on the A7 heading north in front of the Elbe tunnel, we will turn off and take 20 minutes of travel time.

völlig überzogene Preise!!! 2 winzige Schollen mit kaum was dran für 33€. Ein Witz! Das Preisleiatungsverhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht in so einem Landgasthof. Riesen Tamtam auf der Hompage, mit Reservierung etc. Keine Preise auf der Karte im Internet.:-( Ich würde das Lokal nicht weiterempfehlen!

The food was very tasty and fine, especially the chutneys and lemon curd with the strudel. Service very friendly and entertaining. There is still a lot of room for improvement when it comes to espresso (i.e. small, strong, black and, above all, hot). Then it would be great. For me, this is the end of a delicious meal.

We were there for coffee and cake and sat in the garden with a view of the Este. Very nice, but the waitress was probably having a bad day. We were overlooked, would have liked to order drinks, but we didn't get a farewell either. It's a shame, it spoils the overall impression.

It was a wonderful week at the Gasthaus Zur Post. “Grandma's living room” as an apartment was great, the food in the restaurant was great. The employees and the bosses were always nice, friendly and competent contacts if you had any questions. Always my pleasure.

I'll keep it short and sweet. A wonderful seafood restaurant that has been family-run since 1725! Warm welcome. Very friendly and attentive service, excellent food (it couldn't be fresher!) and a cozy atmosphere! Dogs are also welcome. More than just a recommendation, but a top address!

If you want to eat delicious fish then you have to go to the post office. The service was very good and you can sit by the water in the garden. We'll come back on our next vacation

The terrace they have for eating is completely ideal, overlooking a tributary of the Elbe. The food is super delicious, especially recommended is the fish served with mushrooms and bratkartoffekn, it is finger-licking good. In addition, the inn is very authentic and local and is totally worth it if you want to escape the tourist sites.

An inn that is the oldest restaurant in Hamburg. You eat in a quiet garden, and the food is excellent, traditional German, super good quality. It's worth it.

We came back to the Old Country after 2 years. The post office had already impressed us with its food in 2022, so we wanted to try it again and can say with confidence: it's worth it! Great staff, always there, helpful and competent. The food isn't a bit worse. Fresh and very well prepared fish. Eel, plaice or whatever the local fishermen deliver to the house. We wish the house much success and please stay as you are, a place where you feel comfortable and can enjoy yourself wonderfully.

I think 5 stars are often given too easily. But I would even like to give it more than 5 stars. The chefs conjure up simply fantastic and very tasty dishes using top ingredients. The service is friendly and always has time for a chat. We simply feel at home here and a visit is like a little short vacation to pamper yourself.

A very nice inn. Celebrated a lovely birthday here with the family. The staff is very friendly and nothing is left to be desired here. The food is very good. No matter whether fish or meat. I ate such a good steak and it was big. You can also sit outside here. Directly in Hamburg Cranz an der Este. With your own investor. The bus stop is right outside the door. Line 150 runs regularly here. From Altona via Finkenwerder to Cranz.

We stayed in grandpa's stube for a few days and thought it was a beautiful place. Well located for a visit to Hamburg - a pity that the Balkenese-Cranz ferry was not in service. we immediately felt at home. the house was also well furnished.

Unfortunately we didn't get a proper place even though there were still free places. The next reservation was in 2.5 hours but the waitress wouldn't let us sit down. The spirit of serving customers is missing.

So ein tolles Restaurant ... da stimmte wirklich alles ... meine Frau hatte Geburtstag, Tisch für 2 reserviert, gemütlich, sehr anspruchsvolle Gerichte und für diese Qualität der Speisen sind die Preise absolut gerechtfertigt, da werden wir mit Sicherheit wieder erscheinen ... auch zu unserer Hochzeit !

Jeder Fisch (auch der Aal!): leider frittiert. Das geht generell nicht, und ist angesichts der Preise ein absolutes No-Go. Schnitzel/Spargel: war ein Kinderteller. Wenn man die Portionsgröße zugrunde legt. Schade! Aber für mich: nie wieder.

It was our first time there and we were pleasantly surprised. The service is very friendly and the food tastes very good too. The atmosphere is very idyllic with the beer garden. I recommend making reservations in advance. There is a parking space next to the house. We'll definitely come back again.

Unfortunately the plaice were very small and therefore little meat. They still had to grow. The so praised cucumber salad was completely tasteless. Natural cucumber. No salt, dill, vinegar or lemon juice. Completely disappointing. If you asked the waiter about it, it would be normal. The panfish, as the third fish, had a small tail from a plaice that didn't even a forkful was. The fried potatoes and mustard sauce were very good. At these prices we expected more. It's a shame, we had set out from Stelle specifically and were expecting great things after the NDR broadcast. A pity!
