We have been to the post office several times and we have never been disappointed. In my opinion, highly recommended.

Super delicious food and really exceptional family atmosphere. You can see the bosses and philosophy, but you can also see that everyone else is passionate about it and having fun.

A beautiful building, a rustic, cozy interior with a high feel-good factor, very attentive and courteous staff - the food is a poem: freshly, deliciously prepared - I had Kramer's fish plate with 3 different fillets and fried potatoes... my companion had a stint. If you like fresh fish, you will love it there. The 125 km journey was really worth it 😊.

Such a cozy inn. We were thrilled. Like every year, we wanted to eat a stint here and had reserved a comfortable seating area for 4 people. We received a very warm welcome here, everyone was happy, in a good mood and the staff were very committed, quick and attentive. Food, we all had fish, excellent, very appetizing to the eye. It was full, which made it a little louder, but when everyone is so happy, it's easy to deal with it. We look forward to next time.

A visit to the oldest restaurant in Hamburg is highly recommended. The Kramer family has been there with delicacies for 300 years. Always freshly prepared food. Large selection and portions. If you want to treat yourself to something really good, come here.

Unfortunately our visit did not live up to our expectations. The stint was fresh, but unfortunately quite greasy. What was particularly disappointing was that the portions were counted precisely - 5 stints per round - and the first two portions were served cold or only lukewarm. Only the last portion was somewhat okay. The side dish, the fried potatoes, was also weighed, which seems quite petty given the price of 30.00 euros (without drinks). Although we were able to order more stints twice, unfortunately my father and I didn't get enough. Overall it wasn't bad, but nothing special either. We expected more for the price and unfortunately we won't be coming back. It's a shame because we were looking forward to a nice meal.

A nice inn that is family run. And you notice that. Everyone who was there was nice, attentive and friendly. The food, plaice (my wife) and I had smelt, was delicious. The preparation was still according to old traditions. There are also things that you shouldn't necessarily change. And Scholle Finkenwerder Art or Stint there is nothing you can do about it. Both dishes were very good and tasty. And rich too. During the stint there were 3x 5 pieces and also fried potatoes or another potato variant. And a cucumber salad like I remember from my childhood in the 1970s. 👌 My wife had a second plaice. And also together with a potato variant and cucumber salad. We will definitely come back.

We ate duck and it was the tastiest food I've eaten in a long time! (So ​​delicious that I'm even writing an application :P) Really, I can only recommend it. I have the feeling that other restaurants have gone way down with their food quality and that's not the case here - it tastes like grandma's back then.

It's like "coming home". In November 2024 I was on a business trip in Hamburg for 10 days and was very lucky to have found a wonderful hostel with the best care from the Kramer family. As soon as I entered the restaurant for the first time, I had the feeling that I was in very good hands. I haven't experienced such a warm, friendly and, above all, authentic welcome in a long time. Living family tradition paired with a lot of passion can be felt in every corner. The food is simply delicious - the best duck and fish I have ever tasted. The apartment "Grandma's Stube" was very comfortably furnished - nothing was missing and the idea that grandma once lived here was a very nice one. We have been coming for duck dinners in December for 5 years. There is no better one. Crispy, not fatty, red cabbage and sauce as well as croquettes are also super tasty

Pure culinary delight! Fantastic family restaurant with a very courteous and competent team. We were warmly welcomed as house guests by the family and team and felt welcome from the start. The fish dishes (salmon, zander fillet and sole) were always fresh and excellently prepared - the duck was super tender and crispy - for dessert I couldn't get enough of the crème brûlée! We were visiting for a long weekend for a short vacation and booked the “Elbblick” guest room, which is more like a small, fully equipped apartment. This is very comfortably furnished and the view is really beautiful. We ate there twice because we were really impressed by the food. My father-in-law said he had never eaten such good duck. Unfortunately, the choice for vegetarians is very limited as there is mainly fish and meat, but you can easily order croquettes or fries for children. The prices on the menu are not entirely unreasonable, but they are worth every euro. The Kramers really gave us a very warm welcome. Here, hospitality is still a real thing, so that you are greeted personally at the table and have a little chat. Everyone puts their heart and soul into it. This also applies to employees. All in all, we can only recommend it and who knows, maybe we'll end up heading towards Hamburg again.

Very nice inn with very good German cuisine. For me and my wife there was duck with boiled potatoes, red cabbage and roast jus. The duck was super tender and very tasty. The service was super friendly and left nothing to be desired. All in all, a very nice evening that I would recommend to everyone.

The four of us spontaneously came to this fish restaurant. However, on the advice of the competent and humorous Dutch service staff, we decided not to eat fish in favor of autumnal duck and venison veal steak - an excellent choice in every respect, everything was prepared to perfection. Apple crumble with cinnamon ice cream went very well with this as a dessert. The service looked after us unobtrusively, and the boss also asked how we were. The ambience is stylishly maritime-inspired. All in all, an unconditional recommendation. Here we make sure that you are well. At the next announced traffic jam on the A7 heading north in front of the Elbe tunnel, we will turn off and take 20 minutes of travel time.

völlig überzogene Preise!!! 2 winzige Schollen mit kaum was dran für 33€. Ein Witz! Das Preisleiatungsverhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht in so einem Landgasthof. Riesen Tamtam auf der Hompage, mit Reservierung etc. Keine Preise auf der Karte im Internet.:-( Ich würde das Lokal nicht weiterempfehlen!

The food was very tasty and fine, especially the chutneys and lemon curd with the strudel. Service very friendly and entertaining. There is still a lot of room for improvement when it comes to espresso (i.e. small, strong, black and, above all, hot). Then it would be great. For me, this is the end of a delicious meal.
