Jolie Restaurant + Cocktail & Weinbar in Hamburg

A beautiful, delicious and cozy and sociable evening! To put it briefly: A clear menu (you don't need more choice, it's just confusing) with a mixture of classics (e.g. Labskaus or fried fish) and interesting burgers, service that really makes you feel comfortable and then the food that everyone really enjoyed. The honey ribs were already delicious, but the curd strudel went even further. You rarely get something like this, even in the Mecca of desserts in Austria. From now on you have a fixed address when staying in Hamburg!!! Why no photos? Well, it's simple: it was all so delicious that you don't even think about taking photos! And empty plates are just not that photogenic...

Brilliant food, great cocktails and cool people. Price level for me as a country bumpkin a bit higher but reasonable.

From the reservation with Bella to the friendly manner at the reception, everything in this restaurant was perfect. The food was my personal highlight; I had a culinary highlight during my visit that I hadn't experienced in a long time. The friendliness of the staff (there are dozens of us here) makes this visit to the restaurant remind me of a family get-together with my best friend. Chapeau to the service team and the kitchen, I will recommend this restaurant as an insider tip to customers and friends.

We are literally in love with this restaurant - which at first appears inconspicuous from the outside: in the immediate vicinity of the neighborhood, it serves predominantly traditional German cuisine in a friendly, attentive and personal touch: Hamburger Pannfisch, Labskaus, Königsberger Klopse, Käsespätzle, Schnitzel, Cordon Bleu... everything served in large portions and very good quality at a reasonable price with a smile. Our “go to” tip with foreign guests!

The ambience is admittedly nice, the food is good, but not much for the prices. Cocktails small and very expensive. Now the big minus: ordered 5 large beers, every single one of which was filled well below the calibration mark. Not a little, but at most 2/3. The most blatant thing - despite my advice, there was no improvement after the second one. Ergo, all that remains is the assumption of the business model. Of course, you make a decent margin on drink prices. Never again for me, something like that doesn't work.

The Jolie is a great little restaurant that is run with love. The atmosphere is very stylish and cozy. The service was super nice and attentive. The food was delicious, especially the feta balls as a starter were to die for. We will definitely come back again.

Unfortunately, I only discovered Jolie about 2 years ago. If you're looking for a place with a relaxed atmosphere, delicious fresh food and super friendly service, this is the place for you. All of this is available at absolutely fair prices. What makes Jolie special for me is that you can go here with anyone, whether it's a girls' night out, a meal with colleagues or with the whole family, everyone feels at home here and there is something on the menu for every style of food. During the week there are specials recommended for bargain hunters, such as: E.g. cheese spaetzle or rib day. Plus cocktails for a narrow course from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. I can particularly recommend the Pornstar Martini. Thank you for being so great❤️.

Cozy location with incredibly great staff and delicious food. Unfortunately you don't really get full. We had the most expensive "three-course meal" and my husband and I still didn't get full. The main meals in particular are very small. Otherwise everything was great. The cocktails also taste very tasty. There are happy hours, otherwise they cost 15 euros.

High class prices for unfortunately only solid food with friendly service, which was a bit overwhelmed by many guests. If the prices were reasonable, the rating would certainly have been a little better, but that's what you have to measure yourself against.

First of all: reservations are strongly recommended. And now for my little declaration of love; I can't find anything, absolutely nothing (!) negative. The team is very well-coordinated and has been around for almost years. I really like the bar manager, a typical St.Pauli Schnute for me, but the “younger” service crew is also extremely attentive and so accommodating. The service is so so good - thanks to you💗I feel a lot of happiness when I eat and that's really not a lie - a lot of love seems to go into every dish. The drinks are also great, they have the world's best Pornstar Martini✨

Wir waren mit 24 Personen zum Abendessen.die gesamte Gruppe war vom Geschmack, Qualität und Präsentation der Gerichte begeistert. Die herzliche Atmosphäre, das sehr gute Essen macht das Restaurant besonders .

I was there yesterday with 2 friends and was positively surprised by this restaurant. The staff, ambience and food are a 10 out of 10. I recommend the schnitzel with fried potatoes.

We were turned away when we arrived at approx. 19 and wanted to sit and enjoy some drinks and wine. Despite endlessly empty tables (only TWO tables were in use) it was not possible as long as we didn't have to have food there. So my call is simply; find another place with more friendliness and better customer service.

Wir waren zu der Happy Hour (alle drinks für 8€) in diesem Laden, der sich Wein- und Cocktailbar nennt. Weil wir kein Essen bestellen wollten, mussten wir nach dem ersten drink wieder gehen.

Ein rundum gelungener Abend! Die Happy Hour von 18:00 - 19:00 Uhr haben wir noch mitnehmen können - Pornstar Martini schmeckt sehr gut! Das Essen war fantastisch, vom Seemannsteller (Vorspeisenvariation) über Tortellini in Salbeibutter bis hin zu Backfisch und Käsespätzle war alles großartig zubereitet und angerichtet. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und hat zu zweit den gesamten Laden aufmerksam und liebevoll betreut. Wir waren super zufrieden und sind sehr glücklich weitergezogen 🥰 immer wieder gerne, danke ihr Lieben!

Für mich eins der schönsten und nettesten Restaurants in Hamburg. Ok, preislich etwas höher angesiedelt aber jeder Cent ist es wert! Hervorragende Küche und ausgefallene Cocktails. Ich bin nun schon drei Jahre aus Hamburg weggezogen aber komme bei jedem Besuch zum Essen einmal hierher. Die Qualität ist gleichbleibend hoch!

Ein wirklich entzückendes Restaurant. Wir waren zu dritt, die beiden Vegetarier waren von der Auswahl der vegetarischen Gerichte begeistert, ich hatte die Königsberger Klopse und muss sagen, so gut haben sie mir schon lange nicht mehr geschmeckt! Wir kommen wieder!

Wir waren am Freitag im Jolie und es war hervorragend. Wir (mit Freunden) besuchen regelmäßig in Hamburg und Umgebung Restaurants, auch solche mit sogenannter Spitzenküche. Was wir im Jolie erleben durften, war jedoch tatsächlich Spitzenküche. Kurz: JEDE Speise war auf den Punkt grandios, unbeschreiblich gut. Preis/Leistung ebenfalls top. Der Service war perfekt, schnell und freundlich - tolles Wohlfühlklima. 100% Empfehlung!

Durch Zufall entdeckt. Tolle Bedienung und Ambiente. Der Panfisch mit Bratkartoffeln war sehr lecker. Die Bratkartoffeln waren besonders lecker. Das Radler vom Fass kann ich auch uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Ich würde gerne wiederkommen.

Und das auch noch in einem super gemütlichen Gatsby Ambiente, mit wirklich tollem liebevollen Service… Ich liebe diesen Laden und wurde in unzähligen Besuchen nicht ein einziges Mal enttäuscht.

Das Restaurant Jolie auf St. Pauli bietet eine traditionelle deutsche Küche mit hausgemachten Gerichten wie den besten Käsespätzle, die ich bisher gegessen habe. Außerdem werden hier super leckere Cocktails und Limonaden serviert. Das tolle Team im Restaurant Jolie sorgt dafür, dass man sich hier rundum wohl fühlt. Wenn man nach einem Ort in Hamburg sucht, der deutsche Küche, herzliche Bedienung und eine entspannte Atmosphäre bietet, ist das Restaurant Jolie definitiv die beste Wahl.

Überraschend gut und sehr sehr lecker. Authentische süddeutsche und österreichische Küche in exzellenter Qualität!! Und einem sehr charmanten Flair und gemütlicher Atmosphäre.

Wir hatten einen normalen und einen Rippchen Burger und beide waren sehr lecker. Allerdings war im Fleisch ein sehr dominantes Gewürz, was nach einigen Bissen doch sehr intensiv war. Auf Nachfrage wollte mir der Kellner keine Auskunft geben, was eigentlich gar nicht geht. Zudem haben wir 1€ pro Ketchup und Majo-Tüte bezahlt, was es somit zum teuersten Pommesdip ever gemacht hat. Der Service war freundlich.

Found this place by accident at last min on busy Friday as lots of the other good places fully booked. So glad we went. The food was excellent and the service was wonderful. The decor was very nice and the cocktails were 10/10. Only down side is the mains had chips that were way to salty. The rest of the food was perfect

Heute zum ersten Mal hier. Tolles, kleines Restaurant. Lecker Essen, liebevoll zubereitet und serviert. Zuvorkommender Service. Alles sehr sauber und gemütlich, gern kommen wir bei unserem nächsten Hamburg-besuch wieder. Vielen Dank, Barbara und Frank

Ein ganz großartiges Restaurant, mit super Location und fabelhaftem Essen. Wir hatten die Jolie Burger und Käsespätzle. Beides kann man kaum besser bewerten! Die Spätzle waren sehr saftig und mit leckerem Käse. Dazu gab es einen wirklich leckeren Beilagensalat. Haben sogar noch einen Salat nachbestellt, weil er außergewöhnlich gut war. Er besteht aus einer Mischung unterschiedlicher Salate (Gurken-, Kartoffel- und Krautsalat, jeder für sich super angemacht, darüber Blattsalat mit Sojasprossen angemacht). Der Burger war ebenfalls toll. Sie waren einfach spitze gewürzt und schmecken nicht nach dem Burger-Einheits-Geschmack. Dazu sehr knusprige Pommes, die ebenfalls toll gewürzt waren. Insgesamt kann man echt sagen, dass der Koch sehr gut mit unterschiedlichen Geschmäckern (süßlich, schärfe, säure, salzig) umgehen kann und sie bei den einzelnen Komponenten jeweils betont. Die Beilagen und Komponenten sind aber immer so gewählt, dass alles am Ende einen runden Geschmack ergibt. Wirklich Klasse und schlau gemacht! Als Getränke hatten wir selbstgemachte Limonaden (Blaubeer, Erdbeere-Basilikum und Limette-Minze). Alle Limonaden haben einen ordentlichen Geschmack nach den jeweiligen Zutaten und sind großzügig ausgeschenkt, in den perfekten Limonadengläsern. Wir waren begeistert. Außerdem hatten wir zwei Cocktails (Mojito und Himbeer-Rosmarin-Caipi), die sehr aromatisch und sehr gut gemixt waren. Mit vier Personen kamen wir insgesamt auf rund 110 €. Uns war es absolut jeden Cent wert, wir fanden die Preise genau angemessen und werden definitiv wieder kommen. Zuletzt bleibt noch, dass der Kellner extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit war. Ein rundum toller Abend. Vielen Dank dafür :)

Von aussen unscheinbar, innen gemütlich bis urig. Sehr gutes Essen. Gutbürgerliche Küche und Burger fein abgestimmt und toll präsentiert. Leckere Limonaden. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis (Drei-Gänge-Menü mit eigener Auswahl aus der Karte für 29,90 €), freundlicher Service. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Das von aussen eher unscheinbare Restaurant in St.Pauli birgt Schätze in seinem Inneren. Das Motto ist Feinbürgerliche Küche. Das sprengt alle Erwartungen, die man damit verbindet: Ein Rhabarbabercocktail wurde als Entré gereicht, hundermal besser als jeder Mojito. Das Weihnachtsmenue und das Silvestermenue( einmal mit der Firma, einmal privat) waren ausgezeichnet. Ob es die Vorspeise, Thunfisch auf Parmesanmus oder der überbackene Ziegenkäse im Crêpesäckchen war. Die selbstgemachte Steinpilzravioli oder die geschmorte Ochsenbacke mit getrüffeltem Gemüsemus oder das gebratene Dorade Filet auf Krustentierschaum übertrafen all unsere Erwartungen, nicht nur füs Auge, sondern verwöhnten unsere Gaumen. Der krönende Abschluss, ein Maracujaschaum mit Kokosgratiné und Schokomousse zerging auf der Zunge. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und ausgesprochen höflich, das Ambiente modern und mit kleinen Antiquitäten, wie einer alten Schreibmaschine z.B. individuell gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Licht angenehm gedämpft. Ich war jetzt 2 mal kurz hinterinander da und werde bestimmt gerne wiederkommen. Die Athmosphäre ist sehr angenehm.

With a hungry group of 4 we stumbled upon this restaurant and were happy with what we found. Some original northern German cuisine was available, but also some interesting other dishes. We had Pannfisch, Labskaus, a burger and honey chilli ribs. All dishes are to be recommended (you do need to to like Labskaus though. ;) ). We also enjoyed the cocktail happy hour and very friendly service.

That restaurant was recommended by my daughter who had been there before. The food was excellent, on tuesday and wednesday there is a happy hours menu which make that the bill is really downsized. I had the schweinsnitzel which was really recommended. Reservation also recommended. It's a bit outside the turists place and I would probably never had been there without somebody recommendation, which is pitty.

As we were there, we got served by Musto which is a very talented, friendly service staff. Always interested to our needs. But the schnitzel was a bit burned and the cook left before his/her time and thats why we couldn't get our dessert. But I will definetly give a second chance and maybe third... worth to visit again.

This is a smaller informal restaurant. We visited 3 persons and all had good dishes, well cooked and presented. The bar was not fully stocked and they had only one beer on draft that night, so the weiss bear was from a bottle (still good).

We decided to give this one a go as it looked very nice and we'd walked past it a few times. It is pretty expensive but we thought why not. The seating is pretty poor if you don't get a proper chair. They have sofas, which you sink right into - i'm pretty tall so it would be awful for someone short and i had to sit kind of at an angle. We both had burgers - mine the veggie and my friends, the Jolie burger. Both were a really weird texture - soft and soggy. Mine had a very weird taste - sort of like meat. The fries were very average. Just standard steak cut chips but not cooked well at all. The wine was very nice and the service was very good. Very friendly and offered us English menu's even though we didn't need them. It was ok, but definitely not worth the money. 16.50 euro for a veggie burger in a town with 50 million really great burger restaurants is really taking the mickey. I'm not sure what it's Germany traditional cuisine is like, but looking at the couple next to us who had something more traditional, i'd say i've had better at other much cheaper restaurants.

The ribs were perfect. Soft and tender falling from the bone. Ambiance felt good and service was also good. Basil cocktail was a pleasant suprise, but next time give a heads up on the prices of wine.

When I used to live in St. Pauli, we frequently visited the Jolie and were always delighted. The food is abolutely delicious and offers refreshing ideas, which have the feeling and taste of fine cuisine but the atmosphere in the restaurant as well as the casual appearance of the waiters gives it all a famliar and cosy flair, where one can simply enjoy the great food.

What a lovely place, excellent food and great service. Regular specials on so it never gets old. Highly recommended for romantic meals or small groups of friends.

Not to say all of the waiters are terrible. Just the boss. She has to be the most rude person in service that I have ever met. The food was decent but my experience definitely at most merits one star. Just to be clear I'm speaking about the female boss with short hair.

Dinner with some friends in Hamburg. I found this place online, and wanted to try a hamburger in Hamburg. Hehehe. I ended up getting the veal weinerschnitzel - and it was great! But I had a dilemma, because I saw cheese spaetzel and wanted that, too...so I got it as an appetizer for the table. It was really fantastic, and if I'm going to be honest, better than the veal. And really heavy, so absolutely adequate as a meal. But the veal was served traditionally with the berry sauce and everything. Alas, no hamburger in Hamburg eating with Hamburgers. I'll just have to go back. The menu is online, except you have to translate using Google if you don't speak German (as I do not). Lots of choice, and not everything is super expensive. Spaetzel was 13€ and I think the schnitzel was 20€.
