Restaurant Brücke in Hamburg

Wonderful! We love coming to the Brücke and enjoying the food and delicious wine!

We love going to the Brücke! Even when we're "cheating," no other restaurant in our neighborhood can compare. Everything here is just right: value for money, the food is always a delight both visually and tastefully, and the service is pleasant, warm, and approachable. Thanks go out to Gabriel, Johannes, and Natalia for the many wonderful evenings (including our civil wedding last year), as well as to Tom and Felix for the high-quality, exquisite food we always get to enjoy. We're already looking forward to the next party with you!

Full of anticipation and on a whim, I decided to try the lunch menu at the Brücke. As I walked in, a table for two had just become free. A couple came in right behind me. The waiter ignored me at first and signaled to the couple behind me to take the table. The couple signaled to the waiter that they had arrived first. He then asked me if I had a reservation. No, and neither did the couple behind me. Then he refused to give me a table, saying I was alone. What an outrage and discrimination like no other. I'll never see that place again!!!!!

The food? Exquisite. The service? Super friendly and attentive. The ambiance? Perfect and harmonious. The atmosphere? We had a wonderful evening. The restaurant is highly recommended. Many thanks to the entire team, and especially to Johannes.

The à la carte menu is always a treat for the palate and I always arrange the curd dessert in advance so that I can get it safely ;-). Over the years, I have never been disappointed and all of the visitors I have taken to the bridge have always been thrilled. All I can say is keep it up!!

I really liked the restaurant and I can really recommend it, but I have to say that the name is pretty boring and not very imaginative

We celebrated our civil wedding in Bodequita next to the Brücke Restaurant and had a really good time there: from the service, to the ambience, to the food and drinks, it was great all around. A lot of time was taken, different needs were taken into account and all in all it was a great moment on site. Highly recommended.

The decor is shocking and doesn't match the delicious food. You can do wonders with a pot of paint. The benches and tables urgently need to be disposed of. We now understand why there are no authentic photos. For us, the ambience is part of the enjoyment.

Everything originates from something. There‘s nothing free of heritage, everything is in dependence to something else. Buddhists call this principle „dependent origination“. It‘s a fundamental, physical as well as mental, law of the universe. Every change to your physical being has a cause that causes the condition you are experiencing. And any mental phenomena, whatever appears in your consciousness, has a cause as well. The law of dependent origination is also known as „emptiness“. Practically, everything is empty in itself. What‘s friendship? Going deeper into it, we‘ll quickly realize it‘s just a word, just an idea. We understand it as our relationship to another person. But what‘s that relationship? Isn‘t it simply a collection of shared experiences? Experiences in virtual and real life? Going to a museum together, talking on the phone, playing sports or visiting a restaurant, chatting over dinner? Friendship itself is entirely empty. Joint moments cause it to exist, cause us to come up with a word to describe „it“. Friendship needs to be activated, it needs to come to life. It originates in dependence to another person. And Restaurant Brücke is one place allowing these shared experiences (which are needed to bring friendship into subjective experience) to take place. Restaurant Brücke has been a place for shared dinners, a place to talk at and talk about with a friend. This is a love letter to friendship, a love letter to the causes that allow for things to originate, and most essentially, a love letter to the living process that I get to call a friend, my beloved March.

Pssst... don't tell anyone: this is one of the best, if not the best bistro for German cuisine with a French twist. The service is excellent, the ambience is such that the guest feels at home and the cuisine, well, it couldn't be better. Luckily the prices are still moderate, our absolute highlight is the lunch menu for under 20 euros.

Really great place with a little bit outdated interior but with amazing fresh food, with seasonal fresh ingredients. Great choice of wine. Service is friendly and relaxed reminds me like more Italian style. The biggest challenge was to discover what was had written in the German menu 😄

Always solid cuisine, the restaurant is also busy at lunchtime. Great wine selection. The only real drawback: juice spritzers have hardly any carbonation (may be due to the 0.5 wheat glass)

We were able to spend by far the best evening of our Hamburg weekend here! The food was simply excellent, the atmosphere was great and the staff was just super friendly! I'm looking forward to my next visit :)

You will be looked after quickly, friendly and attentively. The starter and main course were really enjoyable, but the ambience outside seemed a little dingy.

Good but bit pricey. Classic neighbourhood brasserie where the posher locals dine. Not a lot of young people. Good wine and beer selection. Book tables in advance. Service nice but hopelessly overworked.

Unfortunately I didn't have a nice experience here. Loveless tables in the outdoor area with chairs tipped over. There was no drinks menu, but I got a confused look when I asked what open white wines were available. Asparagus with lime hollandaise, schnitzel and potatoes cost €38 here. Unfortunately my schnitzel came without hollandaise. When I asked, I was told that the hollandaise was sold out. They forgot to tell me that. We had to emphasize several times how disappointed we were until we were offered a glass of wine as compensation. The food was professionally prepared for the price - but nothing more. The bill was then written by hand on a pad. We were also not asked if we wanted a copy of the invoice. Anyone who offers such prices should not dump their guests like that. For a hollandaise a cook needs 3 ingredients and 10 minutes. I'm annoyed that I paid for my meal. Unfortunately we didn't have a nice evening here for €100.

Very pleasant atmosphere! The schnitzel and mashed potatoes were extremely tasty. It was a little louder, but you could still have a good conversation. I really liked the self-written card.

The kitchen is simply great! Very very tasty, you can tell that the chef is putting a lot of effort into it! The meat is fried to perfection and everything else is prepared to match. A small, fine restaurant with old charm! The service can be a bit hectic at times.

Waren gestern wieder da - das war ein super schöner Abend! Alles mega lecker - wir hatten Probleme etwas von der Karte auszuwählen, da Alles interessant war. Dazu ein überragender Service - vielen Dank!

War zum Mittagessen dort sehr gute Qualität und man sitzt sehr nett auch draussen

Hinweis: auch hier kann man nur in Slots um 18 Uhr oder um 20 Uhr reservieren. Die Reservierung erfolgt telefonisch. Wir waren leider nicht zufrieden. Die Einrichtung ist kühl und ungemütlich. Die ältere Dame im Service war zu leger gekleidet und etwas umprofessionell. Sie gab uns zu zweit z.B. nur eine Getränkekarte. Die junge Kollegin war hingegen Top und sehr freundlich. Das Essen war mittelmäßig. Das Schnitzel hatte eine etwas feste Panade und kam mit sehr langweiligem Kartoffelpüree. Der Pulpo meiner Frau war sicher mal tiefgefroren gewesen und wurde dann viel zu stark gegrillt und fade gewürzt. Schade vielleicht hatten wir einfach pech.

Gemütliches Restaurant mit hochwertiger Küche. Anspruchsvolle Weinauswahl. Hat aber auch alles seinen Eppendorfer Preis. Gut geeignet für ein 2er Date oder kleine Geburtstagstafel.

Tolles Essen mit sympathischen Gästen und einer sehr aufmerksamen und unaufdringlichen Bedienung. Weiter so.

Wir waren an einem Samstag Abend hier zu viert. Das Lokal ist beliebt und bei dem schönen Wetter rappelvoll. Das Essen ist gut (nur meine Pommes waren dunkelbraun und somit hart) und der Service sehr freundlich und bemüht, gegen die Massen anzukommen. Das hat in unserem Fall nicht immer geklappt. Der Nachtisch von unserem Menü wurde vergessen, das kann vorkommen. Dafür hat Cheffe sich bei der Rechnung erkenntlich gezeigt. Schöne Atmosphäre, aber so laut, das wir uns kaum unterhalten konnten. Besser draußen sitzen, wenn man es ruhiger mag, oder hinter der Theke.

Selten so einen guten Aperol Spritzz getrunken und so ein fantastisches Vitello Tonnato mit gerösteten Kapern und der perfekt dosierten Thunfischsoße gegessen. Allem voran ein höchst aufmerksames Personal mit wachen Augen! Hierher komme ich gerne wieder.

Es ist nahezu perfekt. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Der Service freundlich, diskret und professionell. Das Lokal geschmackvoll und einladend.Das Preis Leistung Verhältnis sehr gut. Ich freue mich aufs nächste Mal. Einziger Kritikpunkt....im Restaurant ist es wirklich sehr laut, es gäbe Möglichkeiten dies zu ändern.

Freundlicher,etwas laaaaangsamer Service. Ruhige Lage obwohl der Isemarkt direkt gegenüber liegt. Den Abzug gab es für die schmutzigen Tischtücher und das Tuch im Brotkorb.

Tolles Essen und wunderbarer Service - der Mittagstisch ist sehr zu empfehlen!

Aus Bremer Sicht originell-schrabbelig, vom Ambiente und auch von den Betreibern her. Wirsingsuppe 11 Euro war gut gesalzen, schmeckte gut, anscheinend also auch mit frischen Anteilen zubereitet. Speisekarte handschriftlich als ein einzelner Zettel kopiert auf dem Tisch. Sowas finde ich ja grundsätzlich immer schon gut. Trotzdem ca. 8 Speiseauswahlen.

Ganz tolles Restaurant. Sehr angenehmes , professionelles und freundliches Personal. Die Karte war Corona-Bedingt etwas klein, aber das Essen war sehr lecker.

Ein überzeugendes Konzept sehr konsequent umgesetzt. Meist regionale und nachhaltig hergestellte Produkte die geschmacklich hervorragend sind. Dazu toll und zum Teil auch mutig, gekonnt zubereitet mit hervorragendem Service. Und der Digestiv zum Abschluss reiht sich ein...😉

Entweder sind die Servicekräfte überfordert oder man ist auf Gäste nicht angewiesen. Seit Tagen versuche ich dort jemanden telefonisch zu erreichen. Es geht niemand ans Telefon. Nicht mal ein Anrufbeantworter. Vorausgesetzt die 4225525 ist die korrekte Nummer. Auch wenn es abends vielleicht etwas stressig im Lokal sein sollte, wie soll man da reservieren oder absagen. Mit zehn Leuten kann ich nicht einfach mal auf blauen Dunst vorbeikommen.

Super für Lunch nach dem isemarkt! Ein oder zwei vegetarisch/vegane Alternativen mehr wären super.

Superfreundlich, perfekte Weine, perfekte Küche, bestes Publikum, was will man mehr?

Reservierung? Entspann Dich. Komm einfach vorbei - Du wirst direkt gastfreundlich & herzlich empfangen. Die Tische draussen sind in weisse Tischdecken gehüllt, mit frischen Blumen, weit auseinander gestellt. Die Kellner sind flott, kompetent mit gutem Auge und immer einem humorvollen Spruch. Alles ist sauber, gut organisiert. Die Stimmund und der Mix der Gäste sind sehr angenehm- sowohl als Date oder mit Freunden, Familie, Schwiegereltern oder allein. Besonders ist die stets wechselnde saisonale Karte: klein & handgeschrieben. Gerade kann ich sehr empfehlen: den Lammrücken mit Wurzelgemüse oder den Lachs auf Guacamole und danach das Erdbeertiramisu. Preise sind dem tollen Service, der Lage und besonderen Stimmung sowie Portionsgrösse und Qualität fair + angemessen. Wir kommen immer gern wieder!
