The price level is indeed high. Viennese schnitzels are very tasty. I have never had more tender ribs that fall off the bone so easily. The lightly candied Kaiserschmarrn is a dream. Pescatarians also find something delicious. Service is very friendly and unobtrusive. We always enjoy going there on special occasions.

Very tasty Franconian food, nice staff and a cozy atmosphere. Beer garden and parking spaces also available. Wednesday is schnitzel day.

Nice service, delicious duck with red cabbage, what more could you want. I was satisfied, as always. Just: bring cash!

The evening in the Schnabuleum was a complete success. The food was great and the staff was friendly and attentive.

Top restaurant, unfortunately closed since December

The Buoy was one of our favorite restaurants in Neuendorf for many years. It was tasty here, the service was friendly, the atmosphere was rustic, and the prices were reasonable. What we had to experience now in the off-season is absolutely outrageous: the waitress snidely tells uninitiated guests not to even look around for seats because only those who have reserved are allowed to stay anyway. Anyone who has learned from this rebuff and therefore sits at a table looks after those who leave disappointed, almost with a guilty conscience. But the kicker: you now have to shell out almost 27 euros for most fish dishes! The composition of the various dishes only differs in one thing: the type of fish. Otherwise, on all plates there are the same limp, greasy, warmed-up fried potatoes with plenty of bacon and a “salad” as a side dish, which was mainly canned. Price and performance are miles apart. We quickly agreed not to accept this unprecedented outrage a second time.

A classic German restaurant as we know it from the past - just like 20, 25 years ago. There is really hearty German food here, a great clientele and friendly service that makes the evening perfect. The chef knows his craft and the prices are simply unbeatable: Hefeweizen 3.50 euros, Eisbein 15 euros – legendary! Everything is very rustic and the ambience exudes real charm. This restaurant preserves German cultural heritage, and we are grateful that it saved our weekend. Recommended again at any time!

The whole place smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The waitress is unfriendly, incompetent, unsympathetic, has no idea about her job and is also quite cheeky and disrespectful. I suspect it was the current owner herself or someone from family/friends, because no one would voluntarily hire such a person.

Really good German cuisine, tastes great every time. There are also many gluten-free options, even the schnitzel can be prepared with gluten-free breadcrumbs in a separate area. What I like best here in the fall is always the pumpkin soup

We really enjoyed our dinner at Stadtschänke. The food was very good and surprisingly affordable for the area. We all had the Pfifferling-Specials and it was delicious. Nice staff.

The restaurant was busy on the day we made our reservation. However, the service was competent and friendly and the food was served promptly and together. We were all very enthusiastic, the restaurant really impressed with the price-performance ratio, the service and the quality of the food! We will eat here again!
