I had a lovely evening in the beer garden, enjoying a beautiful lake view while dining on authentic German food. I ordered the schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce (Champignonrahmschnitzel) and fries—it was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was peaceful, the views were stunning, and the food was excellent. I highly recommend this quiet restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy great German cuisine in a relaxing setting.

Good food, cold fresh beer, wonderful service and terrific atmosphere. This is off the beaten path a bit, but I can't believe it wasn't crowded on a Saturday evening.

grew up in this area loved the lake and restaurant , now they dont have dial up internet anymore or phone booths to make telephone calls , and they no longer have German marks its dollars , well i am still single never married , wish i could move back to the area again and marry a nice German woman .

We were there for the first time in years and were disappointed. When we were there at 4 p.m. on a Sunday afternoon and asked for coffee and cake, the waitress's response was, "Um, no, there's no cake." It was as if we were asking for a guide to rocket science. The atmosphere was nice, but that was about it. Unfortunately...

We went for a chicken dinner today. The grilled chicken was super delicious and very flavorful. Fresh from the grill and of the highest quality. The side dishes were also very tasty. Pleasant atmosphere and very friendly service. We were completely satisfied.

It's actually quite nice here: a beer garden by the lake, a good selection of dishes, and friendly service. We had a schnitzel pan and a steak: the meat was well grilled and the fries were good too. So why the poor rating? The drinks are very expensive, and extras or changing the side dishes cost a lot of money. Croquettes instead of fries cost €1, and a change to fried potatoes costs €2.50. If you add an extra portion of that to the bread, it costs €4.50. This isn't mentioned on the online menu – it says "side of your choice," and there are no drink prices listed there either. And the expensive change (fried potatoes) is also incomprehensible, since they're listed as a standard side dish with another dish. Anyone who charges so much for these extras can't credibly claim that the well-being of their guests is paramount, at least in our opinion. In our opinion, this claim wasn't met.

Such a hidden gem in Landstuhl! Found this place on google about a year ago and I’ve been back several times. The restaurant sits tucked away right near a lake and has a small Bier garten that is such a nice place to relax during the summer. In my opinion, they have the best schnitzel - whether it’s the delicious cream sauce, the crispy fries or the cute garden salads in mason jars, everything is done just right. If you’re looking for local German food then come try this place!

Went to the restaurant for the second time today because the food is really good and the service is great.

Wir waren im neuen Jahr als Paar essen. Schön dass das Restaurant auch zu Zeiten Essen anbietet was woanders nur sehr selten der Fall ist. Wir waren mit unseren Schlemmer- und Teufelspfännchen zufrieden. Allerdings der Beilagensalat wird sehr seltsam serviert und wir fanden das nicht besonders toll. Der Salat nennt sich Schüttelsalat. Wird in einem Marmeladeglas serviert dass man dann ordentlich schütteln muss um die Marinade zu verteilen. Die Marinade war sehr gut, die Menge des Schüttelsalat lässt zu wünschen übrig. Paar Blättchen Kraussalat, wenig Mais und ganz wenig geriebene Karottenschnipsel. Zu anfangs sah das Glas voll aus, aber nach dem schütteln war es etwas mehr als die Hälfte des Marmeladenglases. Für mich persönlich passt diese Art Salat zu servieren nicht zum Ambiente. Sieht aus wie Salat to-go. Sehr schön ist die Lage und man kann kostenlos parken

Great view of the lake on a perfect spring day! My only critiques are the pan schnitzels are too damn addictive, fries too hot and crispy, and the weizen too fresh! After reviewing the few 1-star reviews, I’d recommend those people keep it to the hum-drum K-town dives they’re used to.

Discovered by chance, very inconspicuous if you don't know where it is. But most importantly: I haven't eaten this well in a long time. TOP!!!! We'll be back ☺️

A very quiet and small restaurant. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. While you eat on the outdoor terrace you can watch the ducklings swimming. The food was very tasty and damn hot 🙈. A real insider tip for people who would like to enjoy the peace and quiet and good food.

Die Location ist grundsätzlich klein und schön. Personal ist leider sehr unfreundlich und das Essen auch nicht zu empfehlen. Schade, wäre mehr Potential drin, direkt am Silbersee gelegen.

Today we ate at the Zum Silbersee restaurant for the first time. The first thing you notice in the rustic, pleasant atmosphere is the really friendly service. You feel very welcome! The food (we all had schnitzel) was very tasty and fresh, the portions were very generous. Price/performance is right! We'll definitely be back!

I called to see I needed a reservation because of the German holiday. The lady on the phone was very polite. I told her it was a party of 3. My wife, daughter n myself. She said come over we have space for you. First time here, the polite lady greeted us with a big warm smile n seated us The place is very nice and cozy! A few tables were occupied. We ordered the flammkuchen n salad. The salad was a good portion. But I have to say the flammkuchen was the best I have ever tasted In Europe! I’ve live for over 30 years. Thank you for your hospitality n see you again in the future.

We wanted to briefly charge our battery from the e-bike. According to the staff, it's not possible here. Therefore points deducted - On a signposted cycle tour route, it would also be desirable to make things like e-bike battery charging possible

The food was very tasty and arrived quickly. We all enjoyed it and were full. Only the drink prices, which were slightly inflated for our taste—e.g., a 0.4 liter of Coke for €4.40, a fruit juice spritzer for €4.50, or a 0.7 liter bottle of sparkling water for €5.70—and the restroom situation, which is inconvenient for people with mobility difficulties (15 steps down to the basement), somewhat marred the overall impression. Hence, one star deduction.

Six of us went out to eat. Everyone had a great time. The waiters were friendly and attentive. I can't comment on the dining room; we sat on the terrace. It's spacious, clean, and equipped with plenty of umbrellas to protect us from the sun. The view of the lake is incredibly beautiful. We'll be back.

Here you'll find good, home-style cooking. From salad bowls to steaks, there's something for everyone on the menu. The service is super friendly and attentive. EVERYONE was very satisfied with the food. The whole experience is rounded off with a view of Lake Silbersee. When the weather's nice, the outdoor terrace is open and a great place to stop by.

We had dinner with 14 people on Saturday and everything was very tasty and tasty. Starting from quark with fried potatoes to rump steak. The iced coffee and ice cream sundaes were also great. It's great to sit outside in the summer. The food is very good and above all the price is good. Unfortunately it closes at 8 p.m. Schnitzel with fries is very good and the salad in a glass is a nice idea. Bratwurst and liver dumplings were also ok, although the dumpling was a bit too firm. All in all, I can recommend the kitchen.

We wanted to celebrate our five-year anniversary here today on the terrace of the restaurant at Silbersee, where we first met, but unfortunately, we were denied permission. We sat at a table where the previous guests had just left, so the dishes hadn't been cleared yet. The waitress asked us to move to another table because she "didn't want to clean up after us." We sat at that table anyway, as there were no other free, shady tables with a nice view of the lake. When we politely asked if it would be okay if we got up for a moment so she could clean up, we received no response, and the lady simply stomped off. It's a shame, especially since it was our fifth anniversary. But other cafés in Landstuhl provided us with excellent service and gratefully accepted our money.

If you sit outside you can look at the lake right next to it. You can easily get there on foot, by bike or by car. We've been here a few times and have never been disappointed. My recommendation 👍👍👍

We've been there more often now and have always been well looked after.😄 The food is really delicious and the service is great. There is a star deduction for the sanitary facilities because they cannot be reached with a wheelchair. The view of the lake is beautiful and it's really cozy inside. When it comes to the selection of dishes, all tastes are represented. The tarte flambée is of course the best!!! Thank you, we will definitely come back.

When you order a senior plate, you assume that it will cost a little less than the normal portion. However, if the price difference is only €1, you are really being ripped off. The staff’s justification “the effort is the same”. If I had a normal portion, I could have taken the rest with me. Well, you learn from it. My favorite German food in the area, great kids menu. They have a cream sauce for the schnitzel that is to die for, and paired with the spaetzle it is perfect! Every time we go there we have a great meal. It's a really nice atmosphere.

Like to go there to eat chicken. It's beautifully located on the Silbersee, a great place to take a break in the summer. Cyclists also like to use it. Have a simple but good kitchen.

This was a great find. We just showed up, without a reservation, and had some delicious schnitzel. Everything was wonderful.

So I was the dumb American showing up 5 minutes before close to order food. They still happily took my order and cooked up some great food for me. The restaurant is very cute, on a lake with very nice people. I will definitely go back. The road is very narrow but typical for the area, Google maps took me straight there, through some amazing farms.

Essen war nicht so das Highlight Service war ganz toll Wurden um 21.30 Uhr aufgefordert zu gehen ob wohl wir mit ca 20 leute vor Ort waren, nie mehr wieder silbersee

Wir waren zum Mittagessen dort und das Essen war echt sehr lecker zu nem guten Preis und toller Qualität. Der Service war sehr schnell und absolut freundlich, ein perfekter Mittag. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Ich hatte ein Gourmet-Pfännchen mit Spätzle und Schüttelsalat und danach einen Apfelstrudel.

Wir waren wieder zu Gast in Restaurant Am Silbersee. Das Restaurant hat den Pächter gewechselt und eine neue Speisekarte. Das Essen, wir hatten über Schnitzel, Steak, Flammkuchen und Salat und zur Nachspeise Eis, große Portionen, frisch und sehr lecker zubereitet, Dankeschön! Das Peis-Leistungsverhältnis für das Essen und die Getränke ist sehr gut. Das Team ist stets sehr freundlich und locker drauf. Sehr gerne kommen wir wieder und empfehlen das Restaurant Am Silbersee klar weiter!

Heute war Schlachtfest und die Schlachplatte war so, wie sie sein soll, Prima.

Superschöne Gelegenheit an dem kleinem See etwas abzuschalten, die Natur genießen und dabei noch lecker zu Essen. Wie schon gewohnt von seinem vorherigen Lokal ist man bei Frank und seinem freundlichen Team sehr gut aufgehoben und wird bestens bewirtet. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne!

Einfach eine tolle Lokation mit Biergarten und Blick auf den Silbersee! Das Essen ist einfach lecker) wir haben so ziemlich alles auf der Speisekarte durch 😁) und der Beilage-Salat im Schüttelglas ist ne coole Idee! Die Mädels sind alle sehr freundlich und bemüht. Hier fühlen wir uns gut aufgehoben und genießen gerne unsere Essen in gemütlicher Atmosphäre! Wir kommen immer wieder gerne!

Salat: fertig Karotten ohne Geschmack. Brot: in der mitte 6 Scheiben Käse übereinander Bedienung war duper schnell.
