Unfriendly owner! Had to wait 30 minutes to order cake! This one tasted old! Never again will you have an unfriendly tone with customers!

Food was not nice. Personel not friendly

Totally rustic Kölsch pub in the Agnesviertel with a great chef and exceptional dishes and Cologne specialties. The horse sauerbraten is the best I have ever eaten. And the Rievkooche were also super tasty, not soggy or greasy but extremely crispy. A visit is always worth it!

A lovely, rustic restaurant. It also has vegetarian options. The green sauce was delicious. The portions are large. Good value for money. Reservations are recommended.

We had our wedding celebration in the closest circle of 16 people in the Hexle. Everything was just perfect. The communication in advance was always friendly and ran smoothly. We were able to discuss everything according to our ideas with those responsible. Special requests, such as a vegan menu for three of the guests, were also made possible. It was also ideal that those traveling from further away could stay in the adjacent Hotel Gloria. The ambience (in the beautiful winter garden), service and food at the celebration were all top notch. Our guests were just as enthusiastic as we were. Also from the hotel. That's exactly what you want for a day like this. A big compliment to the entire staff. And of course you can also stop by Hexle without a special occasion and have an excellent meal!

A few weeks ago, we had dinner here. The staff turned us away, despite having a reservation. We had to sit on the side of the road. There, we had to eat cold food, poorly cooked, bone-crusted meat, and inedible vegetables. Absolutely not recommended.

Food was good, big renovation backlog. Everything was old and outdated. There is a lack of love and devotion here. Too bad!

We were invited to a golden wedding anniversary at this venue. It was very appropriate for the occasion. The service was very prompt. We were very well looked after. The food was very good and plentiful.

I have no idea why there are such bad reviews here. The service was great, we had reserved in advance. There were no long waiting times, the portions were absolutely sufficient and absolutely something to please the palate! The prices are justified at this location. And if it's too expensive for you, you should inquire in good time or simply not go. We will definitely come back.
