Great service combined with delicious food and a really nice location right on the Main. We'd love to come back!

This family-run inn is located in Sebnitz. I like the atmosphere of older inns that remain true to their long tradition and don't have to modernize everything at will. The furnishings are elegant, old and new harmonize with each other. A solid Saxon inn. I have already tried many of the dishes, they were all first class, but my favorite are the roulades which the landlady conjures up by hand (buttery soft) and of course a garlic soup is my must. The approach via the market square and the school is very steep and narrow (if you drive up, give way to those coming from above), but there is the option of taking the gentler route via the long road towards Forellenschänke. So anyone who appreciates Saxon hospitality, cosiness, a beautiful view (Balcony of Sebnitz) and good food is welcome here.

We stop here for lunch at longer intervals. This was also the case on Saturday, completely spontaneously. Parking is free of charge, either directly at the inn or on the other side of the intersection in the parking lot there. We arrived right at opening time, were greeted very friendly and were able to choose a table that was not reserved for other guests. The food and drink menus were brought promptly. In principle, we already knew what we were hungry for. And so we ordered two drinks as well as baked trout with red cabbage and potatoes and schnitzel with potatoes and fried mushrooms. We didn't have to wait long for the drinks, the food was served in a reasonable time, always with a smile on our faces. My trout was very large. I ordered the dish without melted butter. The red cabbage came in a separate small bowl. So the plate wasn't overfull. The trout was well fried, very juicy, with floured skin and therefore crispy. I was totally satisfied. My husband also had nothing to complain about. I tried the fried mushrooms and found them very tasty. In our opinion, the prices are absolutely fine. The large dining room is wonderfully rustic. A wood fire was blazing in the fireplace. Everything was clean, including the toilets. We will definitely come back and say THANK YOU.

Great service, great ambience. The taste didn't really appeal to me. I had Schäufala, but I never got a black sauce with it. The crust wasn't cut enough either. We will test it again independently if we don't come with a group. Let's see if it works better then.

The prices on the internet do not match. We were there with 5 people and the food is completely overpriced and nothing special. The overpriced schnitzel was accompanied by a salad, which you subsequently had to pay dearly for. Not recommended!

Here again in the Weinstube Kirchner, today for coffee, cake and wine. The ladies in service are so friendly, the cake is so good, the cappuccino is made with love and the wine is tasty. A wonderful wine bar with charm and style. All the best!

Very nice atmosphere right in front of the beautiful baroque palace

A great experience two evenings in a row with very tasty food in a great atmosphere with very friendly and attentive service. We'll definitely be back!

In my opinion the price-performance ratio is a disgrace. Booking a room was very difficult. It is not specified whether you book a room with a side or front sea view. As an additional request, we had stated that we would like a room with a frontal sea view and we were given a room with a side sea view on the lowest floor. In addition, the partition wall between the balconies was so large that you could hardly enjoy a view of the sea. The room itself also didn't have a minibar, which is pretty unacceptable at a price of more than €720 for 2 people and 4 nights. The breakfast was actually very good, the juices were very tasty and the rolls didn't taste stale.

Today I stopped in for coffee and cake with a hiking group: super delicious homemade crumble cake, everyone was thrilled :-) big praise to the baker!

Completely bad store. We come there to take a short walk, want to park there for 30 minutes and are then approached by an unfriendly and arrogant guy to leave the premises immediately because there is a party going on. When we pointed out that we would only be standing there for a maximum of 30 minutes, he simply said that he didn't care, it was a private parking lot and if necessary I would be towed away. We then parked. When we walked back after 30 minutes, the parking lot was of course still free and no one needed it. It's a nice restaurant from the outside and we wanted to try it out, but now we're giving it a wide berth.

A very nice rustic restaurant. The food is super tasty, real good home cooking. Service super friendly, nice and accommodating. All together a great team in a nice atmosphere.
