Traditional food, beer and sausages actually. Not bad at all. Not too many options beyond border control so at least the place offers chilled seating

The visit to the restaurant significantly improved our stay at BER Airport. The wonderful ambience was topped by the even better (Greek) staff who put a smile on your face! A must on every intercontinental flight!

Coffee is strong, eggs with bacon and potatoes are amazing, hot dog comes with too much mustard.

So the service is great! Very nice and a bit funny too. But the food. Gosh. What a joke. Unfortunately, currywurst tastes really bad. Phew. I would have just given up.

One of the best veggie burgers I have ever ordered in a restaurant! It was thick and perfectly cooked! The toppings were fresh and the burger sauce was unique and tasty! The staff worked like a well oiled machine! The service was as professional as you would expect in a 5 star restaurant! So, 5 stars it will earn from me! I will order that burger again upon my next trip to Berlin!

Ketchup is 40c. Jam for a croissant is €2. We all know that Airports are expensive, but this is exploitative.

Today we received a voucher from Ajet 058 airline and the employees Mr. Babes M. B at the Resturan are unfriendly. They say french fries aren't possible with a voucher and they think we begged, but it was already our voucher because the plane was delayed.

Had lunch here. The guy (didn't get to see his name tag) taking orders was very friendly and efficient. Coffee was just okay. Sandwich was good. No condiments came with the sandwich. The apple pie was filling and good. We enjoyed the relaxing ambience.

I am unfortunately one of the growing list of unhappy customers here - wish I had read what others mentioned and had good before going through passport control. Ordered the hotdog and it was minimal - literally a sausage and some bread. Fries are horrific, and when I asked for mayo, they have the guts to charge me for that little bit of sauce. Avoid.

Questionable signage, €5.10 for a cappuccino that is only half full. When I complained, I just shrugged my shoulders and said, "You can forgive me now." In my opinion, the needs of customers are being exploited and ripped off here. But it obviously works very often.

The best option while waiting for your flight at the CD gates. Duygu is especially very helpful and guiding. Quality products and excellent service.

Ordered expensive bread roll with marmalade - to figure out butter costs 1€ extra (!). Talked to them and they insisted I was wrong because "it didn't say that it would come with butter". Who eats their marmalade bread roll without butter? Not a majority, totally ripoff. Ordered rolls with jam, already expensive - then found out butter costs €1 extra. Staff insisted they were in the right “because it didn’t say there was butter.” The majority of customers are probably expecting butter between the jam and the bun - total rip off.

Great employees, very nice and cheerful.. You arrive there with the information - 7-8 hours flight delay - and the employee “Duygu” smiles at you straight away, so you forget about it for a moment. The store also looks very clean 👍🏾

sure, it's the airport and we therefore expect mediocre food for high prices. This is still exceptionally below average. Not at all is the food quality (taste, portion size, freshness) comparable to the food offers in Munich airport or Stuttgart, it's also more expensive. A boring burger for 16€ should at least come with a tiny portion of fries or be available as a combo menu that saves you some money compared to buying the components separately. Also, being located in the INTERNATIONAL flights terminal, some of the service staff don't know English. Seating is ok, atmosphere okay, elictricity outlets of very limited availability.

It felt so good while I was waiting for my flight. A great place where you can sit comfortably, drink your coffee and eat something.

Overpriced schnitzel with no fries or potatoes, just a lump of meat. Long service line and poor service. When I went back to complain, they were very quick to provide fries (thankfully), for an extra 5.40 euro. Highway robbery

The two ladies at the service point were super nice. One had light hair of Turkish origin and the other, I think, of Italian origin, were super nice and polite. Great girls, keep it up.

Came to this place and asked for one cup of coffee and another cup of hot water. The guy at the bar said that cup of hot water costs 4€. Excuse me, I continued, .I not mind to pay 1 or 2€ for plain hot water, but it’s over the top. The guy was not friendly at all. This place is only caffe at the entire gating area, they should be making sufficient amount of money and cup of water next to other purchase should have been no issue. Never again

Yet again I stopped here. I always order Bratkartoffeln mit Spiegelei, Speck und Zwiebeln. It's been my last thing to do before I travel back to the UK. Nikos who is at the till is organising everybody. When is he not working? I look forward to seeing him as he is always cheerful, smiling and his customer service attitude is second to none. He always had a kind thing to say to customers even if they are not at their best behaviour. Already looking forward to my Bratkartoffeln when I'm back in Berlin in the summer.

We were there for a little snack before the flight. We particularly liked the hot chocolate and the service from Almena.

That restaurant is first class. When I went to Dublin again the person who worked in that restaurant had a lot of fun.

Avoid. A self-service venue that aspires to being a restaurant (with prices to match), and -unforgivably- with rude staff: Watch out for getting the right change. Remember to bring back your empties (they do charge a deposit, in case you run off/ fly-off with a one-way glass bottle!). And make sure not to put your foot wrong/ spill or drop anything when handling trays and luggage: staff in charge does get angry easily. If you care to read the poor reviews you will also see that Laggner's team are sophists too, clearly spending more time in proofing displeased customers wrong rather than getting their service right in first place. Avoid, and try to eat in the food court prior passport control at T1: beyond that point Laggner Bräu is your only option, and as such a dissapointing tourist trap. One addition: ordering was very slow, too. A big but empty place, with inefficient staff alongside an inexplicably long queue, before one is even allowed to sit down. The icing on the cake: one supposedly re-joins that queue if inclined to ask for refund of any (one-way bottles) deposit...

Kind person and friendly. Happy to buy. When come again here, i will buy coffee again, also food.

Food is not nice. Service is good. Overall this terminal is not good. Laggner is the only good option. It would be great if there is some competition. Would probably make things better.
