Today I was at this nice place. The service was very nice, friendly and helpful. A big advantage is that you can communicate in Polish and other languages. Excellent coffee and delicious cakes. Everything fresh made on site. Large selection of salads. I recommend it wholeheartedly. Greetings to the entire team.

One of the few places at the airport where you can eat something cooked and hot. All praise for the tomato corba, which is highly recommended. Plain pretzels, with salami and cheese are not bad, but from 1 to 5 they get a score of 3, because the one with cheese has margarine (not even butter).

The toilet water is better than their water at €3.80. Furthermore, access to the toilets is cheaper (2€).

I just had the best meatballs in Berlin, honestly! A HUGE portion of absolutely acceptable potato salad with appropriate garnish and two beautifully large, handmade and freshly fried meatballs on a plate. The boss then gave us the recipe and even though some of the staff were in a bad holiday mood, all in all it was a surprisingly great experience. It's just a shame that I have to fly a lot more now just to enjoy it again... ^^

Have gotten sandwiches and other baked goods here several times and I have never been disappointed. Prices are a bit on the pricier side, which is to be expected from an airport café. The bread on my sandwich was surprisingly good, filling didn't feel sparse or stingy and the matcha desserts (I've had both a cake and a cookie) were delightfully matcha-y. Very green, good quality matcha. Surprisingly so for baked goods (which tend to use lower grade matcha). Keep up the good work! I'll definitely be back 👍🏻

Honestly, if you want a decent meal, super nice service, and a comfortable environment, then the Traiteur is really good... sure it's airport prices, but there are a lot more expensive for the amount, and it actually tastes pretty good. The scrambled eggs with bacon are delicious and everyone treats you very nicely. This is my first review, and that says something. I don't think there's anything better in the airport...

Best deal at the airport for a full English/American breakfast. Scrambled eggs cooked to order, bacon and bread with butter for less than half the cost at the sit down restaurant.

17.60€ for 2 croissants, 1 latte, 1 small cappuccino. The BER, as Berlin-Brandenburg's "complete work of art" , continues to live up to its bad reputation time and again. What remains is a provincial airport that is too expensive and confusing for passengers and airlines.

Very good pretzels on the go and will next time as well get the salami one. Good selection of small snacks and drinks.

Coffee, water, and a croissant with turkey €15. The waiter seems to be doing you a favor by serving you.

At the entire airport, the Traiteur Restaurant has the best food (especially the fries are fresh and homemade) and the best service. Always happy to come here!!!

The restaurant area in the back - one step up - is really highly recommended and probably the best place to go before departure! We received excellent service here, with humor, charm and generosity! The greeting from the kitchen in particular gave us more than good advice and also influenced the drink for our holiday! The restaurant is fully recommended and the price is absolutely reasonable for the great quality, the presentation and the service!

So rude. And they don't let you sit in the resturant if you don't buy dinner there. I bought dessert and drinks but was thrown out of the sofa area and sent out to some sh!te place to sit. Never coming back here.

Slow and overpriced. How do you justify such prices?

Unfriendly and very arrogant cashier. He didn't even greet me! Their card reader demanded a tip from me! What?? Hey, they don't serve tables, and on top of that they demand to return the tray! Of course no tip for them. Then, as I swiped my card and waited for the receipt, the cashier stood there staring at me without a thank you and without handing me the receipt! I had to repeat "Kassenbon" to him 3 times before he finally handed it to me!!! NEVER, NEVER AGAIN!

Our flight was delayed due to bad weather - luckily the friendly staff served us excellent Aperol Spritz.

The food on the tables is freshly prepared and by far better than the usual airport offerings. Tomato-coconut-ginger soup for €7! Top!

Top quality and friendly service, best food I've ever had in an airport!

Airport bar with airport prices, however this was the best one I tried on this airport. You need to read the signs at the boards as the hot dishes are not in the printed menu. The wienershnitzel is very good and really large. The pretzels fresh although cold due to them being kept in the refridgerator (should have probably ask to have it heated). Nevertheless worth the walk as we have tried the other premises and it was terrible in terms of food taste.

I am very positively surprised by the quality, size and service for an airport eatery.

Nice little bistro at Gate A1 sometimes it's the little things that make life better: breakfast affordable and tasty, good selection of jams and the butter is nice and soft and spreadable. The coffee is Italian roasted with low acidity. Good start to your vacation.

Had a bitter latte machiato (sour milk) here for €5.80 and told the staff. During the discussion I overheard that someone hadn't cleaned the coffee machines carefully. Unfortunately, I did not receive a new coffee. Now I'm sitting on the plane and the bad, bitter taste in my mouth is slowly subsiding.

Apart from the fact that a candy with an indifferent stale taste and a water cost 8.3euros, two slightly broken teeth from the shell coming from the nuts of the dessert are added to the experience. I would make a complaint here, but as you know, the Germans usually don't care about customer complaints, so google is the best way for consumers and for their protection.

It's great to see that there're decent food options in the Berlin airport, at least in terminal A. The food looks delicious and one really wants to eat it which is not always the case, especially when we talk about bread and sandwiches in Germany. I ordered a sandwich and coffee for take away. The sandwich was warm, the portion was solid and counts as whole meal, the ingredients were fresh. The coffee on the other hand was not the best but I don't want to remove points for that. The good coffee is easier to find than tasty food. For the portion size and freshness the prices are affordable, especially because it's in the airport. The dessert selection was also nice, will definitely come back. I hope this place stays in the airport and I'll eating there every time I fly from Berlin.

Surprisingly tasty for airport food! Wonderful friendly staff, great curry wurst (14.50 euro) tender chicken panko. Side potato "fries" were fabulous! No beer on tap.

I always come here when I am at the airport. They are very lovely. Once I forgot my airpods and they very nicely kept them for me for the next day when I came again to the airport. Cheers!

Overall poor quality of food for the cost (the pretzel was so bad I struggled to eat half of it). Go to the Movenpick cafe at the end of terminal A instead. I didn't see the name of the restaurant when I went by so couldn't google it - if I would have seen the 3.1 star review I'd have kept walking. Almost seems like they're hiding the name....

Beste Kaffeespezialiäten im BER Hier ist noch Tradition und Gastronomie am richtigen Fleck. Nur zu empfehlen!!!

Generally low expectations at BER‘s limited food offering, but Traiteur is seriously underwhelming with food that is not fresh, while prices are unreasonably high.
