THE MOST IMPORTANT DISH
The Shanghai restaurant is a Chinese restaurant located in the center of Nienburg. As is common in many Chinese restaurants, a buffet is offered here, but only from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., except on Sundays and public holidays. If that's too early for you, you can also choose from the à la carte menu.
If you like Chinese cuisine and want to eat your fill, Shanghai is a good choice.
Whether Chinese, Italian, or German, every cuisine offers delicious dishes. But no matter how great each cuisine may be, it has two major disadvantages: First, it doesn't last forever; at some point, everyone, whether gourmet or fast-food fan, gets hungry again. Second, it doesn't save you from death. Everyone must die – even lovers of good food.
There is only ONE dish that saves you from death and ensures that you are no longer hungry. This food comes from the LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. He Himself is this food—in a figurative sense, of course. He told his countrymen: "Whoever eats my body and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him, and I will raise him up at the last day," John 6:54. "Body" and "bread" are symbols of life—here, of the eternal life that the LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST offers to those who believe in him. And for all who believe in him, there will one day be a feast in heaven attended by all the biblical celebrities. Compared to that, the buffet in Shanghai is like a bratwurst from the chip shop around the corner. But to participate in this feast, one must receive eternal life, and that happens ONLY through faith. In the Great Commission to his disciples, Christ said: "Whoever believes and is baptized will live, but whoever does not believe will not be believed." BE DAMNED, Mark 16:9. And if that happens to you, that's it for you with a super buffet, be it Chinese or German, etc. You've completely gorged yourself. There isn't even a drop of water to drink.
On my Facebook page, I have a few posts you should definitely check out. I also recommend the video "Hell is no joke" by Rudi Joas on YouTube.
This is a Chinese restaurant as you know it from before. Really rustic and classic.
The furnishings are as you would expect, paneled ceilings, dark wooden tables, matching decorations.
The service was very friendly.
But most importantly: the food is down-to-earth "Chinese cuisine" as usual from the 2000s, we liked both dishes exceptionally well and the portions are large enough to easily fill you up. The food (16-23€ for the main course) is not extremely cheap, but totally worth the price for the quality and quantity on offer.
We'll be back.
Solid Asian food with a great price-performance ratio. Always delicious and always plenty. If you order in advance by telephone, the food is usually ready for collection in a maximum of 15 minutes.
Unfortunately the staff on the phone are very difficult to understand but the food is really great. We have never been disappointed.
Was there for the first time yesterday with my girlfriend, our little one and grandma.
Very friendly staff.
In contrast to the well-known Chinese restaurant from Lübeck, the buffet here is really at least a class better.
The buffet is quite small but the quality is unbeatable.
Really a catastrophe, I've never been served like this in my life, I was yelled at, I ate the wrong food and then we all got our food differently from 5 people. We will never eat here again
Most authentic German/Chinese snack bar. The food is conjured up by a young chef who listens to music and dances to it. I think it's really cool because a lot of people don't have fun at work. The food is excellent. They see me more often 🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶
A wide variety of food, they also create vegetarian dishes upon request. The homemade iced tea is also very tasty. The staff is polite and friendly and the environment is comfortable and attractive.
Always extremely friendly, depending on the time there is a waiting time, but there is also the option to pre-order by phone. The food is always freshly prepared, always comes hot from the kitchen and is packaged very conveniently.
I've never been disappointed in terms of taste - it's still wonderfully edible the following day (although there's usually nothing left over because it's so delicious)
