Essen war sehr lecker, frisch und mehr als ausreichend. Wir waren alleine draußen auf der Terrasse, da hat man uns wohl etwas vergessen. Ansonsten war alles gut 👍

Und: Diese nette Familie ist bestens organisiert, dass man auf sein Essen nicht lange warten muss. Wir gehen bald wieder mal hin.

Ich komme gelegentlich sehr gerne hierhin. Meistens ruhig und das gefällt mir. Die Betreiberfamilie ist nett. Das Essen kommt blitzschnell. Mir schmeckt es! Gute Lage im Carré zwischen Österreichischen Platz und Rotebühlplatz aber eben nicht direkt im Trubel. Alles in allem passt es sehr gut!

Two of us had lunch here. The food came quickly, was delicious, and a decent portion. We just took the rest with us. Since it's located in the middle of town, cars are constantly driving by. The Wang couple's restaurant is really a good Chinese restaurant worth visiting again and again! Their steamed fish is very fresh, tender and has no fishy smell, perfectly retaining the original flavor of the fish. The stir-fried tripe is crispy and chewy, and the heat is just right. The more you eat, the more addictive it becomes. The homemade tofu is soft and tasty, and you can taste the taste of home in every bite. The food was quick, one dish was tasty but the other tasted like the sauce was bad. After the complaint, the exact same dish came again, so I didn't eat anything. It also smelled strange. The food didn't seem fresh. We were disappointed and found the service to be polite, not particularly friendly and accommodating. Wouldn't recommend it.

Good Chinese food at a good price and nice operators, keep it up

Fast food restaurants can take a leaf out of the restaurant's pace; The main menu was already served to us during the starter. The food was definitely not bad, the portions were generous and filling.

Food was really not great, a lot of soy, very oily, the won ran were not edible.

Very small quantity, I am a small guy and had to order two entrees. The restaurant is nicely decorated but food quality was ok. Soup was very salty.

As a southerner who grew up eating Cantonese food, I haven’t eaten such bad Cantonese food in a long time. It’s too oily, tastes too salty, the meat is too dry, and the price is too expensive. I strongly don’t recommend it.

A little insider tip in Stuttgart! The restaurant is slightly smaller than usual Chinese restaurants, But there is a beautiful terrace in the back area. The staff is very friendly and special requests are also welcome. The food tasted very good except that it was too spicy for me, but you can have it less spicy if you wish. The prices are quite good for authentic food. I'd love to come back!

Frische Zutaten, sehr gutes Preis-Leistung Verhältnis, das thailändische gelbe und rote curry war wirklich gut! Ich hatte noch eine thailändische Suppe als Vorspeise. Die Portionen sind relativ üppig, man sollte Hunger haben. Liegt sehr zentral, gut für einen Besuch nach dem Einkauf in der city. Kleines lokal mit wenig Platz innen, hat aber noch eine Terrasse auf die man ausweichen kann.

I didn't think the food was particularly good. It's okay. There are significantly better Asians in Stuttgart. The Mapo Tofu were definitely not Mapo Tofu, but simply tofu with soy sauce. Nasi goreng was okay. The duck was a bit dry. Service was okay and the restaurant also seemed clean. I think for standard food we fried rice/noodles okay. But not really authentic Chinese.

I have to admit to others: people here have 0.0 understanding of hygiene. The cook (also waiter) has very dirty apron and long dirty nails. Sorry, that doesn't work... The food itself wasn't bad.

Ambiance seems like “want and can’t”. The leg of the chair was repaired with a hose clamp and the wall was dripping (both see pictures). Not very inviting. First impression when entering was really better... The service... well, food requests were taken and passed on and food was brought to the table to pay, I/we also had to go to the counter in cash. The food itself was very mediocre, the price of €9.50 for fried noodles with natural chicken was quite high for this quality. Unfortunately I can't understand the other reviews, my colleagues who were there with me to eat had the same opinion as me. I am now richer in experience.

If you're looking for good Chinese food at top prices, you've come to the right place. I'm a regular customer and try out the menu. Never been disappointed. The ambience is simple, but has a familiar and family flair.

You can experience a typical Chinese restaurant atmosphere here (20 years ago).😄😄😄 For us the food is a bit salty but tastes good.. Staff is normal...just...hmmm hard to say...she's doing her job...😆😆😆 Baked banana is particularly good 👍 👍 👍

Wir waren zum Musical in Stuttgart und wollten am nächsten Abend lecker chinesisch Essen gehen. Da wir uns nicht aus kannten, fragten wir Google und sortierten 2 Lokale wegen der schlechten Bewertung aus und landeten im "Sonnengarten". Freitag Abend kurz nach Öffnung, wir dachten, daran liegt es, weshalb der Laden leer ist. Es kam aber auch kein weiter Gast. Uns schlug schon beim Eintreten ein unangenehmer Zigarettenduft entgegen, war jedenfalls meine Meinung und wir hätten da schon umdrehen müssen. Wir blieben aber und ärgerten uns am Ende sehr, dass wir nicht gegangen sind. Ja, die Preise sind wirklich angenehm. Wir waren 2 Erwachsene und ein Kind. Die gebratenen Nudeln vom Kind kamen innerhalb weniger Minuten und nicht zeitgleich mit unserem Essen. Wir fragten auch extra, ob die Bezeichnung "leicht scharf" auch wirklich nur leicht scharf ist. Man bestätigte uns nochmal, man könne weniger scharf machen. Leider konnten wir es nicht auf essen, weil uns die Schärfe lehmte. Ich möchte nicht wissen, was da scharf bedeutet. Gut, das ist Ansichtssache, aber die Hygiene ließ wirklich zu wünschen übrig. Der Koch/Beikoch saß mit schmutziger Schürze am Tresen und trank sein Bier. Die andere Dame aus der Küche war zwischen den Küchenarbeiten rauchen und ging ohne Hände waschen wieder an die Arbeit. Es wird sicherlich auch anderswo so sein, aber hier war es sehr offensichtlich und wenn zum Freitag Abend um 19 Uhr keiner im Lokal ist, außer wir drei, wird das Gründe haben. Keine Empfehlung von uns!

Unfortunately I didn't like it at all and in my opinion it's not authentic either. The service is nice and prices are low, but I found the food to be German-Chinese and adapted to German tastes. There was far too much soy sauce in the dishes, so it was oversalted and my dish was no different from the dish of my companion. There were exactly the same ingredients, except for the type of meat, even though we ordered two different dishes. Gong Bao Chicken / Kung Pao Chicken was far from authentic, there weren't even peanuts in it. All in all, we weren't convinced at all. Very unfortunate.

Great and tasty food for a really good price. The best Peking soup around. We ate Szechuan and the spiciness was really perfect. The restaurant is not big but very nice and cozy with a cozy atmosphere and the service is very friendly. We'll go there again.

Very, very good and delicious food. The best sweet and sour soup I've ever had. The main course, one chicken and one duck, was also very tasty. At the end we had a delicious dessert. The reception was incredibly friendly, even though we hadn't made a reservation and the restaurant was very busy, they found a wonderful place for us. A wonderful evening. I will definitely visit my insider tip again when I stay in Stuttgart again.

We came across this restaurant by chance. The atmosphere is very cozy and offers great, authentic Chinese cuisine. The food was very tasty, the portions were generous and the prices were very fair. The owners are very accommodating and extremely hospitable, we would love to come back. Thank you!

Kleines chinesisches Familienrestaurant mit Terrasse im begrünten Hof hinter dem Haus. Auf besondere Wünsche wird bei Essenszubereitung gerne eingegangen, da immer frisch produziert wird. Insofern sicher interessant auch für alle, die nicht so auf die "chinesischen europäischen Einheitsgerichte" wie "Hühnchen süß-sauer" stehen. Einfach das Personal darauf ansprechen. Aber "Hühnchen süß-sauer" gibt's auch für alle, die es mögen. Keine Parkmöglichkeiten, da mitten in der Innenstadt. Gute Anbindung an die Stadtbahn.

Really enjoyed our meal here! We had chicken with Szechuan, curry chicken and fried noodles with shrimps. All were good. Food arrived quickly. Waitress was very nice. Attractive decor. Allowed payment by credit card. Very reasonable prices. Good size servings. Definitely recommend a visit.

Eines der wenigen Familienrestaurants in der Gegend. Ruhig und günstig. Meiner Meinung nach ist das Essen recht fettig. Bodenständig ist es mit vielen Klassikern. Seit Jahren gleich gut. Gibt es selten in Mitte. Kleiner Geheimtipp für diejenigen die nicht auf das übliche Schickimicki stehen.

Ein kleines süßes Restaurant mit versteckter Terasse . Essen ist mega. Ich bestelle nie von der Karte sondern sage einfach ich möchte was mit Gemüse und bekomme immer was leckeres gezaubert 😀 Tolles Pärchen. Sowas muss man supporten. Vor allem weil es Inhabergeführt ist .

The food could have been better. There was too much of turmeric on the Chicken Fried Rice. The noodle was too oily to the point that it was dripping oil. The other chicken curry with rice was okay.

Great authentic Chinese restaurant with an extensive menu. The steamed fish and seafood pot were very fresh and delicious. We also liked the homemade table condiment which was savoury and added a lot of flavor to our noodle dish. The service was very friendly and accommodating.

We came here very late on a Monday night. Initially we could only order take-out, but since we didn’t have a place to take it away to (we were about to drive home that night), they made an exception. That was super sweet in itself but then the food turned out to be really good as well. Hearty, delicious Thai and Kantonese food. Glad we came here!

Super essen, etwas fettig, aber war sehr lecker! Hatten gebratene Nudeln, Ente mit gelbem Thaicurry und Ente Chop soey.

Das Restaurant bietet außer "Western chinesisches Essen" auch authentisches chinesisches Essen. Leider gab es keine Speisekarte auf Englisch oder Deutsch dafür, nur auf Chinesisch. Für die chinesischen Generationen, die in anderen Ländern aufgewachsen sind und kein Chinesisch sprechen/lesen aber authentischen Chinesische Gerichte essen, ist das natürlich schwierig. Ich muss die Chefin fragen, was für authentisches chinesisches Essen, ich essen wollte, ob sie hat, usw. Es gab zwar Fotos dafür, aber einige Fotos sind unklar. Das authentische chinesische Essen ist lecker. Wir haben "roasted duck" und "hor fun" (breite Reisnudeln mit Rindfleisch) gegessen. Beide waren lecker. Nur Gemüse im Reisnudeln war nicht authentisch chinesisch - im Vergleich zu anderen chinesischen Restaurants. Nicht wie bei anderen chinesischen Restaurants (auch in meiner Heimat) bietet dieses Restaurant keinen Oolong Tee, obwohl Oolong Tee aus China und typisch chinesisch ist. Der Chef sagte, sein Tee war der beste Tee. 🤦 Ich kenne mich sehr gut mit dem Tee. Das war nur normaler Jasmin Tee! Atmosphäre war okay aber warmherzig war es nicht. Als Asiate war die Fazit: dort ist okay, aber da ich schon im anderen besseren ähnlichen Restaurant war, war ich dort nicht so begeistert.

Peking Suppe war gut. Hauptgericht war von der chinesischen Karte das Omlett mit Meeresfrüchte. Die Meeresfrüchte waren eigentlich nur die Kruste und vor allem die Beine und Scheren von Krabben die nicht gegessen werden konnten. Da war kein Fleisch dran. 70% meines Gerichtes musste ich am Teller aussortieren. Das ist wie wenn man Omlett mit Hähnchen bestellt und man bekommt anstatt Hähnchenfleisch nur die Knochen. Für 17 Euro hatte ich somit nur ein Ei und bisschen Reis zum Essen. Wenn ich etwas auf dem Teller habe möchte ich es auch essen können. Wäre ich sehr hungrig gewesen hätte ich es zurück gegeben
