Ordered by phone – picked up in 15 minutes, prices were adjusted, tasted fantastic, if you like spicy food, this is the place for you. The only downside would be that the shrimp shells weren't removed. Seaweed, mildly spicy and delicious. My recommendation: Octopus 🐙 – spicy!

I ordered spicy beef and spicy lotus root, and they were so tasty I even ordered plain noodles to go with them! As a Chinese, I consider them authentic Sichuan food, and the food was also very fresh! The portions were good and the prices were very reasonable, with lots of dining tables offering various options. The restaurant is located right next to the metro station, very convenient too, highly recommended! As a Hunanese, I particularly enjoyed the cold beef and lotus root salad I ordered. They were so delicious that I also ordered plain noodles. The noodles were delicious when added to the salad dressing! They were perfect with a Coke. The restaurant is not only popular with Chinese but also locals. It's right next to the metro station, and the dining area is spacious, perfect for a wide variety of groups. The hostess was very welcoming, freely switching between Chinese and German, and accepting Euros and Alipay. Highly recommended!

If you like Sichuan pepper, this is the place to be. Great, authentic cuisine, far removed from the usual mainstream Chinese fare. A definite recommendation for anyone looking for something unusual. The ambiance is rather simple and doesn't give away the delicious dishes hidden behind the menu.

How should I put it? I went to Stu to eat on the weekend and finally chose Sichuan Restaurant. But I was really disappointed. The two of us ordered 4 dishes. In addition to the strange-flavored chicken, the diving fish was actually sweet. I really wanted to eat Sichuan. I felt like I was in Guangdong.

Important: Sichuan food is different from the German-Chinese food you get in most Chinese restaurants in Germany. It has a stronger flavor and is spicier. The food was super delicious and authentic to the food I had eaten in Sichuan. It was a little less spicy than in Sichuan, but still spicy for most Europeans.

A clear recommendation for the authentic Chinese section of the menu! Super delicious, spicy, and not tailored to German palates – in a good way. There are also classics that you'd find in many Asian restaurants, like curries and the like, which are also quite tasty, so even less adventurous diners are sure to find something. But what's special here are the Chinese dishes – ingredients and preparation methods that you don't often find. The ambiance and service are exactly what you'd expect – certainly not fancy, but just right.

I saw some reviews saying that the food was not good, but I didn't pay much attention to it. I still wanted to give it a try. But it turned out to be not pet friendly. I don't recommend it. And on a busy weekday, there were only a few people in the store, so I knew I should avoid it.

This has been our favourite Chinese restaurant in the Stuttgart area since the last 6 years. Delicious food, so much variety (even for vegetarians) and the flavours are amazing! My favourites are the Mapo Tofu and the beans (Buschbohnen). I highly recommend it if you want to try out some authentic Chinese food. The restaurant is almost always full. So I recommend reserving a table, if possible.

The food was delicious but very spicy. If you like spicy and authentic food, you should definitely give it a try! You can see that they really didn't skimp on the chilies!

Spicy diced rabbit. Rabbit meat is really hard to come by in Germany. This restaurant cooks it well. The added lotus root also surprised me. It’s a great combination. Although it’s not very spicy, it’s enough for most people.

Places like these which serve authentic food deserve all the support they need. Food was exceptionally good and service was really good. We were a family of 4 and even without reserve, we managed to get seated within few seconds and i understand why it’s important to make reservations to visit this restaurant. Next time, will come with definite reservation

A recommended Sichuan restaurant! A must-visit restaurant when visiting Stuttgart!

This is one of the worst Chinese restaurants I have ever seen. The dishes were oily, spicy and extremely salty, and the portions were small. I ordered Kung Pao Chicken. Most of it was filled with dried chili peppers, and the meat and vegetables were almost invisible. Cucumber strips, several small strips of cucumber cost more than 7 yuan. The fish-flavored shredded pork is not authentic in color, smell or taste. The boiled fish and bean sprouts were not fresh. A bottle of mineral water that costs a few cents in a supermarket actually costs 8 euros at his house. It feels like the waiters have not received professional training and have no sense of service awareness. All in all very disappointed.

Our absolute favorite restaurant that is also popular with Asians. The dishes are super tasty and spicy. Unfortunately, with the return of interest rates, it is no longer cheap, but it is still absolutely payable and worth every cent. They are also very fast. The Mapo tofu and the eggplants in garlic sauce are particularly recommended. If you only like fried noodles, you're really missing out, but it's also available.

It makes me sad to write this review because four or five years ago this used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant in Stuttgart and now it has become very poor. I wonder if the boss and chef have changed? First of all, the price of food has increased a lot, which I can understand, but the portions have become smaller despite the price increase. I only took a picture of this dish. If I remember correctly, it was 16.5 euros. I won’t mention the portion. The side dish was celery but no carrots. Is this the fish-flavored shredded pork that a Sichuan restaurant should make? If it were just this point, I wouldn't leave a negative review at all. What I couldn't accept the most was that the bullfrog I ordered was completely undercooked! ! ! It's still freezing inside! ! ! After mentioning it to the waiter, she just reheated it for us without even saying sorry. Although the bullfrog seemed to be cooked after reheating, the fishy smell of the frozen product was still very obvious, making it completely inedible. What's even more exaggerated is that even though I only ate some side dishes and a small amount of bullfrog, I immediately developed symptoms of food poisoning, including stomach pain and diarrhea that night, which lasted until the next day. Since I had only eaten here before my symptoms started that day, it was easy to pinpoint the culprit as the bowl of undercooked and stale bullfrog. As a person who has always been proud of his strong intestines and has never had diarrhea in India, this is the first time I have suffered from food poisoning when eating out, which shows how stale the ingredients are. I advise everyone to cherish life and avoid this store.

Overall the price-performance is good. The rice, vegetables and sauce were tasty and flavorful. However, the meat was a bit limited and you mostly only tasted the breading. This could also have been crispier.

Restaurant where I always go when I'm in Stuttgart. Never failed. I am very happy that I found good and authentic Chinese restaurant. The store is very clean, I like it. As soon as you open the menu, you know where it ends up. So no fake Chinese or anything like that, you can eat real Chinese dishes here. The looks are okay, but the taste is just amazing. I had 2 portions of rice (came like 4 portions😂), tree mushrooms with coriander and chili (9.5/10) excellent, I wanted to cry when I ate them because it is just so delicious😭. I also had pork belly (8.5/10) which was also quite tasty and spicy, but too oily because it was fried twice. I also had Mapo Tofu (8/10) which was okay, I have eaten better Mapo Tofu. But still it was tasty and large portion. Overall, all 3 dishes that I ate impressed me. I'm more than happy when I paid (all together with 2 juice spritzers), it only cost €34.90 and I then shared it with a friend, so it's nothing🤩 I'd love to come back when I'm in Stuttgart again. Sichuan - probably the most aromatic cuisine in China. Fans of sophisticated spiciness will get their money's worth here. But spiciness is not the only thing that makes the papillae dance: while other national cuisines, such as those of the Arab world, are dominated by sheer spiciness that quickly overpowers everything, the balanced flavors of Sichuan cuisine impress with umami, fruitiness and freshness and depth. The dishes piled high with chili peppers don't initially give the impression that they are. But every plate contains a new, unique bouquet of taste explosions that are second to none. Whether pepper chicken, mapo tofu or frog soup: no two dishes are the same or anything you've tasted before. The unmistakable effect of Sichuan pepper alone, which makes the mouth numb without numbing it, is worth ordering the corresponding dishes. This restaurant is a MUST for every foodie.

The food was absolutely delicious, unfortunately the restaurant has more of a fast food restaurant feel. That evening my idea was to have a cozy and well-groomed meal. I don't think we'll visit this place again.

The food is super tasty, well seasoned and probably the best Sichuan restaurant in Stuttgart. It's best to order a few dishes and share them at the table. Cucumber salad is a must. The food comes very quickly and the service is quick. Gladly again and again.

It's a blessing to live across the street and be able to access the delicious food at any time. However, we always only order for pickup because the interior of the store is really run down and uninviting.

Totally authentic cuisine. There is something for every taste. Also for guests who don't like it that spicy. Another plus is the train stop right in front of the door.

It's rubbish, the price is on the high side, even if you charge rice per person, the attitude is very bad as if you haven't consumed enough, your own device can't accept mobile phone virtual cards, and you blame other people's cards for problems, it really affects your mood.

A restaurant that finally has authentic Chinese Sichuan food and is also very affordable. But I also recommend eating traditional Chinese, i.e. ordering at least 1 more dish than people and sharing everything, as one dish might be a bit monotonous (especially the vegetables). It doesn't have any special facilities, but anyone who has been to China knows that's typical there too, so I wouldn't deduct anything for it. It was very busy on Friday so it was better to book a table in advance.

They charge us 7€ for two plastic cups filled with tap water and billed for two mineral water bottles. Ask for a bill, check it carefully! After they reply; they don't have tap water.. how they clean dishes..so ridiculous. Shame on you scamming tourist! Check this receipt to prove it.

To flee! The appearance of the dishes is not appetizing, it does not look fresh and it is not tasty. It looks like it was reheated in the microwave. The ingredients are not quality at all. The dishes are disappointing and the value for money is outrageous. What's more: the service leaves something to be desired!

I recommend that people who come to Stuttgart come here if they want to eat Chinese food. The taste is very authentic and each dish is about 10 euros. The pickled fish is more expensive at 17 euros.

Compared to all of the Chinese restaurants also with authentic Asian food, this was the worst authentic chinese food I had. We ordered Mapo Tofu, which tasted very bland, the water spinach tasted alright and the the dry pot ribs were very oily and the meat didn't taste fresh and had a weird taste to them

There are no desserts, little amount of chicken in a plate of chicken curry and rice.

Highly recommend the pickled fish! The most authentic pickled fish I have eaten in all my years in Europe! The meat is delicious and chewy, the sauerkraut is crispy, and the vermicelli is smooth. It’s just a bit far away from us, so we have to drive for a long time every time to come here to eat.

There were four of us who ordered a variation based on recommendations from the nice waitress. By far the best Chinese in Stuttgart, if not BaWu. Service was also very courteous and the speed of the kitchen was impressive. Feel free to order the 'untypical' dishes. 5/5

We had lunch at Sichuan China Restaurant today and I brought my Chinese colleague to find out if the food was authentic or not. He really liked it and so did I - they have spicy and non-spicy dishes and the Chinese staff was very friendly. Waiting time for the food wasn't long and you can even pay with Alipay! I will be back!

I celebrated my husband’s birthday on the weekend and ordered a meal for 30 people. The lady boss must have cooked for us more than 30 people. There was a lot left after eating, and everyone said it was delicious! Thank you very much boss lady☺️

Today I ordered noodle soup with beef in Sichuan Stuttgart and my meal had squid octopus which wouldn't be a problem but since I'm allergic to it that's not ok at all. Thank God I was at home and was able to take care of myself straight away but something like that shouldn't happen, I was there very often Pick up food there and eat there too but I'll never go there again

I have been here many times and I still like to come here every time I come to Tübingen. My friends love it too. The location is good, in the first district. It is more convenient to take public transportation, but it is more troublesome to find a parking space by yourself if you drive. The beautiful boss provides good service, speaks softly, and always smiles. Serving speed is okay. Because there are often many people in the store, and there are also people who need to take out food, it is understandable to be slow sometimes. After all, the boss does not want everyone to wait and be unable to change the channel. The restaurant environment is also okay, it is Xiaojiabiyu type. Clean and hygienic.
