I haven’t eaten here in more than a year, and I thought there would be many new dishes, but it turned out to be the same as the ones from more than a year ago. How can I put it, it felt like it lacked a bit of freshness.
Then the food was served very slowly tonight. . . There were three dishes for two people. The second dish took 46 minutes and the last dish took 1 hour and 11 minutes to be served. The people next door who came later than us had several dishes.
When I asked the waiter to order the food, the first feedback I got was not an apology, but "I don't dare to rush the chef, you have to wait." But what does the chef’s mood have to do with me? Why should I consider the chef’s mood when cooking? It’s not the first day the restaurant opens. Isn’t it common sense that there will be many people on Saturdays? I can understand, I can wait, and within half an hour is called waiting, but 71 minutes is really too much; not expressing apology is really too much.
The last dish, which I had been waiting for for so long, was so salty that it felt like the chef was being pushed into the dish and was in a bad mood to retaliate against me. I lost my appetite at the end of the meal and just packed it away. It was not a pleasant dining experience anyway.
But the taro chicken is delicious, recommended
Update 12/9/24
The food was completely fine, we were very satisfied. However, it was so cold there that we had to keep our jackets on the whole time. Even both waitresses wore thick quilted vests.
UPDATE: Went there on Sunday, April 7th, with a larger group to celebrate a birthday (although they were told this on the phone, it wasn't addressed or even congratulated). Instead, even though we weren't there yet, we were urged to order. Unfortunately, the lady who serves the most hardly understands anything (German) and there were always mix-ups, very unpleasant. We would also have liked to have dessert, but since it took 5 attempts until we got the right menu, i.e. the ice cream menu, and even though we had said 4 times that we would order dessert when everyone had finished eating, it came said “lady” again and again and wanted to take the order. Guys, that's not possible, we were all really annoyed and upset, we had imagined our birthday to be different and more comfortable. We then paid and went to the ice cream parlor a few houses away and ate ice cream and drank coffee in peace and quiet. "That would have been your money" if the service had understood us and not been so pushy, it's a real shame!!! Unfortunately, the portions have also become significantly smaller and in return the prices have risen significantly.....
Older review from us:
It would be nice if someone came to the table every now and then and asked if anything was missing. Unfortunately today we had to keep looking and running so that we could get more drinks, or the sticks we wanted, or more sauce, or even if the rice was empty. Otherwise we were very satisfied with the food.
Very tasty and high quality Chinese food! The homemade chili oil, which you can buy to take away for €15, is also great! Thank you for the lovely evenings!
Man konnte also nicht alles probieren.
Food: Most of them are very good, especially the sweet and sour pork, dry pot pig intestines, fried black fungus and Chinese yam, and Sichuan grilled fish are very authentic and taste very good. The chef is from Nanchong, Sichuan, and the spiciness is just right, with a hint of spiciness, but not overwhelming the fragrance;
Service: The stir-fried Shanghai greens were a bit salty at first, and after giving feedback to the staff, they immediately refried a plate for us. The service attitude was very good, and the chef also came out to apologize to us, full of sincerity;
Atmosphere: There are many Germans, and the overall decoration is simple and practical, suitable for daily gatherings with three or five friends, drinking beer, and feeling the fireworks in a simple life
Highly recommended, in the restaurant or to take away. If you like Asian you won't be disappointed. The sushi is also super tasty, very good selection and quality... And the best crunchy rolls. We'll be back :)
We were there today because of the feedback and were very disappointed. We had to wait a long time for the drinks. Apart from the soup, the food was only lukewarm and the meat in sauce was always the same. Sushi was great😋 but we won't go there again.
Food was okay, the portions are very large, but I was the first customer when the store opened and waited more than 20 minutes for my takeaway food. Min. 5 minutes after me, a customer came who definitely ordered her food there first, but got it before me, also to take away. I found that kind of strange, especially since I ordered the same thing twice, so no longer preparation time. The cleanliness and ambience take some getting used to. Unfortunately, friendliness was zero, even though I was accommodated because I only ordered food for €25, but card payments are only possible for orders over €30.
Very friendly service staff, very attentive and quick. There is also a table for me as a solo traveler. The drink came immediately and the soup didn't take long to arrive (No. 10, pleasantly spicy). I found it particularly pleasant that they actually waited until I had eaten the soup and then the main course was served. (N2 exceptional and very tasty). You rarely find that.
Great value for money.
Food is good!
But unfortunately the opening times are not correct!
We were there on Friday at 6 p.m. and it was closed! Called at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday and no one answered the phone.
