MIU MIU in Baden-Baden

I've ordered there many times and 70% of the time it's always very tasty. But today I was taught otherwise. I ordered food an hour before the restaurant closed and the food arrived 30 minutes later than stated. I had fried rice with baked chicken. The entire dish tasted like old fat and the chicken was already soggy. Unfortunately it was my last order there.

Delivery was 40 minutes late. When asked, the only response was “It’s almost there.”

I ordered food online and the delivery time was given as 40 minutes. The confirmation email said it would take 2 minutes longer. So far so good. After 60 minutes I called and asked how my order was going. I was told it was busy but the driver was already on his way. I initially believed that because the travel time according to maps is 13 minutes. After another 25 minutes I called again as the food still hadn't arrived. Again I was told it was busy but the driver left 5 minutes ago. After a total of 90 minutes instead of the specified 42 minutes, the food finally arrived. The food itself was good, but the service was absolutely lacking. This is the second time now that I was lied to when I first asked and was told that the food was already on the way. Either there are problems with online ordering, with orders occasionally going missing, or the operation is simply poorly organized. A delivery time more than twice as long as stated is unacceptable.

August 4, 2024: I can fully recommend Yam Yam. Food was fresh and tasty, vegetables were tasty and crunchy. I can recommend the bean sprout salad. The food came quickly and the owners are friendly. We sat outside, it's not nice there at the moment due to the construction site, so the ambience only gets 3*

Outside 2 tables...we had some doubts about whether we should eat here. But the food was excellent. Tasty fresh quality! Both the chicken with vegetables and rice and the beef with Kung pao sauce were delicious. We thought the drinks were quite expensive at €3.90 per glass.

The food is delicious, the service is friendly... ok, the ambience could still be improved a bit... but we'll be back... thumbs up 👍

It's great that the vegetables don't come from a can.🕺 The quality of the food is very good. Only the “standard” side dishes are a bit sparse in terms of quantity. 😉 Reordering only possible with additional costs😏

Always deliciously prepared and delivered quickly. We went there because of a mistake and got the portion fresh again. Very nice family.

Update: The restaurant tried to delete the review via Google and a lawyer. The food itself has really improved in recent years. But what bothers me most is the rudeness of the store. We ordered online on the YAM YAM website and paid via PayPal. After 1.5 hours we started to wonder where the order was. When I asked over the phone they said the food was already on the way. When no one was there after another 15 minutes, we called again. Then it turns out the food was forgotten and we were simply lied to. So I went there myself. Since the food was still not ready, I wanted my money back. To make matters worse, I had to discuss it for 10 minutes. Never again people...

I received a message via Google telling me to delete my negative review, otherwise I would get a letter from the lawyer. I don't want the stress so I've deleted my recession now. The content of the last review was something about crawling animals and soup, I'll leave the rest to your imagination. I will not upload pictures of this beautiful sight again. Since I was accused in the wonderful letter that my review was wrong and unlawful because I did not specify any “touch points”, here is my Lieferando order number FJ4JKY from September 16, 2023 at 4:34 p.m. I hope the owner can do something with this, because something personal like name, email, address and telephone number have no place in a recession (actually not even my order number). A “Sorry, something like that shouldn’t have happened. We get goods from overseas, something like this can happen, but of course it should never reach the customer... "Blah blah" would have been nice and absolutely sufficient for me, but apparently it's easier and more lucrative to hire a lawyer to urge the deletion of negative reviews 😐 Do you need to know whether you are ordering here (or writing a negative review without “touch points”).

Bad experiences recently. First the wrong food was delivered (which I already started eating because I wasn't paying attention), then the food I ordered came and I was given both, but the incorrectly delivered dish was still charged on the bill. Special requests are not really taken into account and the food tastes bland and not really good. Not recommended. Edit: The restaurant operator tries to have negative reviews deleted and threatens legal action via email, which is also a way of dealing with legitimate criticism...

I took something there twice, now I know why I didn't get something there more often!!!!! VERY VERY VERY disgusting, unseasoned, bland food!!!!!!!! It tasted like burnt oil and nothing. So if you want to eat there, PLEASE NOT!!!!!! I'm pissed!!!! That they sell something like that and present it as good!!!!!!!

I have the feeling that all Asians in and around Baden Baden offer the same food. It does not taste good. Too few spices and it felt like the same sauce everywhere. Shrimp and meat dry. Only the price is juicy. I've been ordering from there for 10 years now and it's getting worse every year. Before that it was at least in the good average range with acceptable prices. For the last two years there has been no incentive at all to get food there. You shouldn't eat the sushi there either. Addendum: After my review received two thumbs up, I received an email from Google that I had allegedly violated guidelines and that the company now wanted to take legal action against me. Another reason not to order anything there anymore.

Food was lukewarm. Spring rolls had hardly any filling.....unfortunately it was significantly reduced compared to previous years.

We stopped for lunch, ordered Peking soup, it was a bit sour and salty. Rice with beef, the gravy is also salty. We didn't get any pleasure. The waiter stood over his head while we decided on the choice of food, it was not convenient. Prices are high. There is sushi on the menu, but not in stock.

When I saw that Yam Yam was delivering to me in Bühl OT, I was thrilled! The service was good: delivery arrived on time at the stated time. Unfortunately that's about it for the positive... I had Tom Yam Gai and Duck Chop Suey. The soup was neither spicy nor flavorful. Unfortunately, the duck and the sauce were bland. The rice was overcooked and didn't taste good at all. The portion was very large, but unfortunately that was it. I added more seasoning - I've NEVER had to do that with Thai food. A pity.

Very small quantity, doesn't taste good, poor quality, poor value for money, poor facility and view. The dish “Fried Chicken Breast with Noodles” consists almost entirely of “Onion with Leek and Noodles”. The employees are rude, insulting, disrespectful, inaccommodating, incompetent.

Actually tasty, but it's wearing off more and more.

Big dishes and the food comes very fast! Not a gourme but Would recommend you to come if youre looking for a big tasty and good quality meal 😊

Nach langer Zeit war ich wieder vom chinesischen Essen begeistert. Es hat wirklich super geschmeckt! Ich wünsche diesem Restaurant weiter viel Erfolg und komme wieder nochmals!

Essen ist sehr lecker. Kann man weiterempfehlen. Wir holen aber nur unser Essen dort ab. Das Restaurant, man mag es als solches aber nicht bezeichnen. Ist eher ein Imbiss. Läd nicht wirklich zum gemütlichen Verweilen ein.

Sehr gut, schnell und freundliches Personal

Das Essen und die Preise sehr gut und fair. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Aber der Gestank des Fettes aus der Küche, ist echt belastend. Ansonsten kann ich es weiterempfehlen.

Nach 45 Minuten geliefert . Salat mit Hühnchen bestellt, leider wurde die Soße vergessen.. nochmal angerufen kam dann 45 Minuten später, das Hühnchen ist natürlich nun kalt. Schade hätte mir da mehr Kulanz gewünscht(neues Essen), es wurde nur die Soße gebracht fertig.

Das Essen ist lecker aber das mit der Lieferung das klappt nicht so gut ich warte seit 2 Stunde auf mein Essen obwohl ich 1 1/2 Stunden vorher bestellt habe auf eine genaue Zeit …und auf anrufe wird nur mit ja ist unterwegs oder ja in 20 min ist es da geantwortet … per email erhaltet ich keine genaue Startort Angabe wo genau der Lieferant ist oder etc … jetzt schaff ich das Essen auch nicht mehr zu essen weil ich weg muss … wenn ihr an der Lieferung arbeitet dann gebe ich gerne 5 Sterne so aber nicht

We had lunch just after reaching here while waiting for our Airbnb (which was available at 3pm). We ordered chowmein with chicken it was ok so we repeated the order but it was no good. When we asked to pay online he told he takes only cash but we had seen the card payment machines but he said now they don't operate. He knew very few words of English. He was a Chinese and his cook too the only two people present there. The restaurant was empty so communication was very difficult. In the end he agreed to accept payment through an app. We downloaded that app through our data but he very reluctantly agreed to let us charge our phone for 5 minutes as battery was very low since we had just landed. While transferring money we wanted to look at the bill as it was still kept on our table and we had come inside for charging , he hurried us and asked to do it quickly as enough time of his has been wasted , and told us a higher figure. Naturally we believed, but while collecting our luggage from the outside table I picked up the receipt . Later while going through our expenses I discovered that we were cheated. So stay away if you don't have cash and have other choice.

Wir haben spontan Lust bekommen auf asiatisches Essen, aber leider hatten wir nicht viel Zeit. Bei der telefonischen Bestellung wurde uns zugesagt, dass es nur 10 Minuten dauert. Und tatsächlich-trotz eines vollen Lokals war unsere Bestellung nach 10 Minuten fertig. Und das Beste daran: alle Speisen haben hervorragend geschmeckt und die Portionen waren mehr als ausreichend. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Das Essen war lecker, die Portion war auch gut. Habe leider das falsche Gericht bekommen, hatte die 95 bestellt, bekommen habe ich aber die 90. In dem Fall nicht ganz so schlimm gewesen, aber trotzdem ärgerlich. Ansonsten war alles sehr frisch und der Zubereitungsort sah sehr sauber aus.

Bestellt mehrere Gerichte. Im ganzen war nicht so schlecht. Lieferung war ganz schnell und noch am Samstag Abend! "Alles Gute" mit Garnelen aber war nur ein Garnelen. Süß sauer Soße hat nach Schimmel geschmeckt und gerochen! Könnte man gar nicht genieße und essen! Ich werde nie wieder dort bestellen!
