Colala in Baden-Baden

Ich komme seit Jahren in das Lokal Colala bin immer sehr zufrieden.Essen immer frisch und lecker ob Mittags oder Abends.Heute Abend komme ich auch mit Freunden.Herzlichst P.Willershausen

Went there again after a long time, but it had deteriorated a lot and we were disappointed. There is less choice when it comes to eating at lunchtime and sometimes the food is completely dried out. It had probably been sitting for a long time because the noodles were really dry and hard. The prices displayed on the website are no longer correct either. And the staff isn't exactly friendly or attentive either. When you pay, you simply type an amount into your cell phone and hold it in front of your nose. The waiter takes the money, turns around and simply leaves. He doesn't even say goodbye, I've never experienced anything like that.

I had dinner with my family, five people, and finding space was no problem. But what was noticeable was that the food, which you put together raw yourself and then get fried, took quite a long time in some places. It was Sunday afternoon and therefore very busy. The food, whether prepared or prepared, was all very good. Everyone was very satisfied.

Highly recommended. We will definitely eat there again

We used to love going here after the shopping center opened. The fresh sushi was particularly special. Unfortunately, this hasn't been the case for a long time and since the Corona pandemic, you're no longer allowed to put together your own plate and the selection has become significantly smaller. Very unfortunate. The quality of what is still available is still quite good.

Good food but very bad staff and hygiene!!!!!

We were there again after a long time and I was very surprised at how good it was. For the price it's just great. My wife had various fish (shrimp, mussels...) fried. We'll be back.

Good buffet restaurant for the price. We like to eat here before going to the cinema because it's delicious and uncomplicated. The food seems fresh and the selection is very good. There is a Mongolian grill where the food is freshly prepared, sushi, fried foods, salads, main courses, soups, desserts... Something for everyone.

The fresh food is great, but the finished ones can be left behind. The fruit is fresh, unfortunately the chocolate fountain was out. Water came down from the ceiling.

The lunch buffet wasn't great in terms of taste. Unfortunately, the food was only lukewarm and often already dried out. Some of the sushi didn't look particularly fresh either. We won't eat there again, there are better restaurants.

I actually just walked past the restaurant and was shocked at the aquarium next to the front door. The fish have to spend their existence in a cloudy broth, struggling for oxygen on the surface... and if that wasn't bad enough, in the aquarium, in addition to the goldfish (cold water fish), there were several koi that are far too big for the aquarium . That was really terrible to see...😡🤬 For that reason alone I would never enter this restaurant! There is nothing wrong with setting up an aquarium there, but please ensure that the animals are well and it looks like something nice... I hope this will be tackled and the koi will find a species-appropriate home...

I saved over “Too good to go” food here. For €6.5 it could have been more, but I took the leftovers with me.

Gutes Buffet und genug Auswahl.Preis auch ok und freundlich. Dessertauswahl nicht berauschend,vor allem das Eis,schmeckt in keinster Weise und viel zu flüssig.

We were only asked about drinking. I guess you assume that you only want the all you can eat buffet. However, the price is reasonable. You have a lot of choice. However, I find the bottle of water at €6.20 extremely expensive!

We can't even count how many times we've eaten here. It's sad that no reviews have been given yet. The selection of food is phenomenal. Totally delicious in taste. Ambience...it was always rebuilt or changed and each time it was improved and improved. Really unbeatable in terms of friendliness. Even if you forget to make a reservation and then need a table, everything will be tried to make a meal possible. We will continue to eat here because it just fits.

In short: The rice had a stone in it that broke my tooth. There was not even an apology involved, the owners asked me to pay, and overall, they were the rudest people I’ve met. I had the worst dining experience of my life at this restaurant. I broke my tooth from a stone in the rice and very calmly let the owners know, making sure that no other customer hears it. One of the owners (an Asian lady) asked another customer if he spoke English. He says no. She literally laughed, saying that I broke my tooth. (I still don’t understand what was funny about this.) I did not even receive an apology, and here is verbatim what I heard back (and she was still laughing): - “The food is normal, everyone is eating it.” - “You just had meat and vegetables. How can there be a stone in this?” (I show the remaining pieces of rice on the plate) - “If it is from the stone, where is it?” (I think I swallowed it) - “Maybe there is a problem with your tooth.” - “If the rice caused this, you should have thought about it before eating it.” At this point, 2 very kind German ladies are helping me communicate, and they also seemed to be in disbelief as to how poorly the situation was being handled. After a while, one of the German ladies told one of the owners (an Asian lady) (without me requesting) that I should at least not pay for the food. She goes: “No! She will pay for it! She almost finished the whole plate. She has to call the police if she’s not paying.” I tell her to call the police if that’s what she wants and that I will not pay for anything, since as a lawyer I know that it is my right to even ask for my dental expenses to be covered, which I won’t bother doing. The other very rude owner, an Asian man literally “shoo”ed me by exaggerated arm movements, I guess because the argument was catching other customers' attention. The lady says, "You should at least pay for the water.” I said I won’t, then they somehow agreed. I left. Aside from the stone, the food tasted mediocre. It was not hot, and there was too much sauce involved. But my experience here showed me that if you have the slightest problem here, you will be gaslit in the rudest way possible.

We eat here often and really enjoy it. The sushi buffet, ready-made dishes buffet as well as the grill buffet for fresh preparation has something to offer for everyone and is very rich - everything is always refilled when it runs out. The ambience is nice and the service is perfect. There are also enough free parking spaces in the shopping center parking deck at lunchtime on Saturdays (when all shops are still open). Thank you!🌹

I always enjoy going to Colala. The buffet during the week (Mon to Thu) is recommended for a good price; on Friday evenings and weekends it is expanded with fresh cuisine and more selection. Sometimes there is unfortunately little staff there (1 or only 2 operators) and you have to be a little patient...otherwise it is also possible to go with a small child, you feel comfortable there.

It's a very pleasant place, the food is very good, a large selection is always refilled when something runs out. Can only recommend. We definitely haven't been there for the last time either.

Food was great, lots of choice and fair prices

We had lunch in this restaurant, we liked everything. The food was delicious, the staff was polite. The buffet is well filled.

The selection is very large, from soup to sushi, all kinds of pre-prepared dishes with rice or noodles, as well as a salad bar, dessert variations and even fresh products that are specially prepared. The only drawback is that the plates, soup bowls and cutlery are sometimes poorly washed... But there are always enough parts to swap.

We visited Colala last weekend for a large evening buffet. The restaurant has a really nice and attractive interior. In any case, we felt completely comfortable. The staff are friendly, courteous and attentive. The buffet itself is simply amazing for the price. Everyone gets their money's worth here and is guaranteed to find something delicious to eat. Conclusion: We were very, very positively surprised and will soon be visiting Colala again with the entire family.

هو مطعم أسيوي ، يوجد به بوفيه مفتوح طوال الإسبوع ، مناسب للعائلات ، هناك فترة إغلاق مؤقتة بين الساعة ال4 وال5 ، هناك تشكيلة متنوعة من المأكولات البحرية واللحوم والخضرة والحلويات والفواكه ، المشروبات ليست من ضمن البوفيه.

Sehr große Auswahl an leckeren Gerichten. Auch a-la-minute-Gebratenes zum Selbstzusammenstellen. Schneller, freundlicher Service, alles sehr gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder 🌷 Huhu, eigentlich wollten wir den 🌟 Christkindl-Markt 🌟 in Baden-Baden besuchen, aber es nieselte dauerhaft, was zuträglich für weitere Erkältungen sein kann 😔. Also schnell Plan B aus der Tasche gezogen, umdisponiert & schon gab's Mittagsbuffet. Sehr umfangreiches Angebot, für jeden etwas dabei 😋

Sehr leckeres Essen. Eine große Auswahl beim All you can eat Buffet. Preis-Leistung passt auf jeden Fall.

Es gibt alles und davon viel. Seit kurzem etwas umgebaut. Die Qualität der Speisen ist gefühlt etwas weniger gut als vorher. Besonders am Fleisch ist das festgestellt worden.

Mittags ist es ein reduziertes Buffet! Preis Leistung passt gut!

Essen ist immer lecker, große Buffetauswahl, Service ist in Ordnung. Leider 2 Sterne Abzug da man hier keine Rechnung bekommt, der Preis wird einem lediglich am Smartphone Taschenrechner ausgerechnet und auf den Tisch gelegt. Man sieht also auf dem Handy vom Kellner seine Taschenrechner App: 12,90+2,90+1.80= 17,60 € und das ist die Rechnung. Man sieht also weder welche Getränke man hatte oder welche anderen Sachen. Es wird nichts gebont, auch keine MwSt usw. wird hier ausgewiesen, nichts zu sehen. Ich hätte gerne gesehen ob alle Getränke richtig berechnet wurden und wieviel das jeweilige Getränk gekostet hat. Denke mal dass die 17,60 € direkt Netto in die eigene Tasche gewandert sind. Da freut sich das Finanzamt 😅

Gut wie immer das Buffet hatt eine ausreichende Auswahl für jeden da findet man auf jeden Fall was zum essen. 👍👍👍👍👍 Die Inneneinrichtung hat sich geändert wie auch die Buffet stationen sind anders aufgestellt 👍👍👍👍👍

Einziges Manco wurde leider nicht nachgefüllt,woran es lag ,keine Ahnung. Essen war frisch und gut.

Super Service, da lohnt es sich 75 km hinzufahren für das Buffet

Da es wohl nur noch Buffet als Essen gibt , kann man nichts falsch machen . Pro Person ist es ein wenig teurer geworden. Aber wenn man Sushi isst , ist der Preis nicht zu hoch . Es gibt ja auch noch eine gute Auswahl an anderen Gerichten . Meine Dessert Empfehlung: Gebackene Banane mit Schokosoße und Vanilleeis.

+ Sehr angenehm im Restaurant, tolle Atmosphäre, das Essen ist sehr lecker, die Preise völlig in Ordnung. - Wenn sogar nicht nur die Angestellte Sportschuhe, sondern auch die Chefin Sportklamotten trägt, kann da was nicht stimmen, da vergeht einem sein Appetit, wenn man so bedient wird. Turnhose und Sportschuhe haben in einem anständigen Restaurant nichts zu suchen, ziehen sie sich bitte eine vernünftige Kleidung an. Sie sind hier nicht in einem Fitnessclub.

Günstiges Mittagsbüffet. Abends gibt es für ein paar Euro mehr grosses Büffet mit Schokobrunnem, Sushi Auswahl ist grösser, frisches Fleisch und Fisch zum Grillen lassen sowie natürlich das warme Buffet zum selber bedienen. Atmosphäre hmm eigentlich schön aber durch die Grösse des Restaurants verliert sich das Ambiente. Jedoch immer sauber und aufgeräumt. Sehr lieber Chef und freundliches Personal seit Jahren.

Vorab haben wir telefonisch einen Tisch für zwei Personen reserviert. Aktuell verfügt das Restaurant über keine HP, da diese "überarbeitet" wird. Essen soweit geschmackvoll - Buffet für jeden etwas dabei - die Aufbauten des Buffets sind nicht ganz stimmig, aufgrund der räumlichen Gegebenheiten, sodass man teilweise die Eis-Truhe für den Nachtisch, mit samt des Suppentopfes an einem Platz hat und man erst einmal herumschauen muss, um die Punkte abzulaufen. Saucen für den mongolischen Grill, was man auf den Teller dazustellt, findet man nicht beim aufgebauten Buffet, sondern, direkt am Grill selbst. Während des gesamten Aufenthaltes, ist uns beiden aufgefallen, dass das Personal ohne jegliche Gesichtsregung war, sodass man als Gast den Eindruck bekommen hat, dass man nicht ganz erwünscht ist. Das Personal sollte zukünftig freundlicher sein und einen entsprechenden Gesichtsausdruck auflegen, da dies auch Zeichen eines Respektes gegenüber dem Gast darstellt.
