The food was awesome! I had the tuna lovers and I loved it! The service was nice. The place was pretty crowded. The place is a little too small. Overall really good sushi and nice workers! One of the best sushi experiences in Pforzheim.
Fair prices for good food. Special lunch specials are recommended and service is very quick. We were also surprised by the teas: large selection and very interesting varieties and combinations.
This is simply incredible, the best sushi I have eaten in Germany, the sushi chef is the oldest master of his craft, thank you for your work sensei, but there is one BUT, there is simply no NFS payment, or rather there is one, but they don’t work, they took my passport and told me to go to the bank withdraw money! This was very disappointing, I would have given it 5 stars...
Super tasty sushi. Here you can get real sushi with the right ratio of fish and rice. There is also Toro tuna, highly recommended. We'd love to come back!
It was first class again today! Ordered both from the production line and separately and the wine with it!
Cologne doesn't work without Saygo. It is the only sushi restaurant that I know in Cologne and the surrounding area where you can serve yourself at the conveyor belt as well as eat individually a'la kart. And everything is always fresh, even when there is less going on.
We had the 4x Sushi 2.0 and the Shrimp Popcorn Bowl. The sushi tasted good, so everything was really OK and also delicious flavor combinations. But when it comes to sushi, I like to keep it simple 😃 It was more of a deconstructed bowl based on sushi. If I interpret it as such, I thought it was really good. But I wouldn't recommend it as a "sushi meal" because you can't really taste any of the actual makis anymore because of all the toppings. As I said, the overall taste was still really tasty, but not like sushi but more like a bowl.
The shrimp popcorn bowl was delicious. But I think the bowls at Ahoi are better because they contain more different ingredients and therefore have several different textures and tastes.
What I found unfortunate is that the store was almost empty, there were only two other people there besides us. The staff therefore really didn't have much to do. But it was still a bit dingy at times. So there was dried sauce stuck to the Sriracha bottles, the tables weren't completely clean, etc. I always think "if you don't have anything to do, you can at least clean up".
Maybe it's also because the shop was supposed to close 2 weeks after our visit and by then a "don't give a damn" attitude might have set in, but I still thought it was a bit of a shame. Even if the principle is system catering, I don't want to have a McDonalds feeling when I go into a Henssler store.
Not to end the whole thing on a negative note: It was really tasty, the lunch menu was great, there were new flavor combinations and an experience. I would generally come back, just not to Bremen, because both branches are currently closing.
