Eines der besten Restaurants in Dortmund! Gerade wenn man Wert auf richtig gutes Essen, eine schöne Atmosphäre und freundlichen Service legt. Der Laden ist super schön eingerichtet modern, gemütlich und mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Dazu kommt ein sehr freundlicher Service, bei dem man sich direkt wohlfühlt. Absolut empfehlenswert!!!!!!

Auch die Auswahl ist toll und es gibt leckere vegane Optionen, was für uns natürlich besonders schön ist 🌱 Alles ist sauber, das Essen kommt frisch und geschmacklich einfach richtig gut. Wir kommen definitiv immer wieder gerne und können die Kimbabbox absolut empfehlen! 🫶

Selten einen so aufmerksamen Service erlebt. Die Ramen waren für die Kinder leider etwas zu scharf, für mich hätte die Rice Bowl etwas mehr schärfe vertragen, aber die Chili Sosse bekommt man mit anderen Sossen auf den Tisch gestellt. Nichtsdestotrotz waren wir alle sehr zufrieden und hatten einen schönen Abend. Vielen Dank.

Also....wir haben uns sehr gefreut und empfehlen dieses Lokal sehr gern. Als Freunde der koreanischen Küche sehr empfehlenswert. Sehr lecker und der Service ausgezeichnet, mir ausführlichen Infos zu den Speisen....nicht besser machbar. Wir werden sehr gern wieder kommen. 1000 Dank

Unfassbar unterirdisch schlecht. Das Sushi war wegen der Avocado ungenießbar und die Ramensuppe war zu scharf und nur voller Nudeln. Kein Plan wie man hier essen gehen kann !

Das Essen war nicht schlecht, hat uns aber leider nicht umgehauen. Gerade die ‚leicht scharfe‘ Ramen war leider nicht leicht, sondern richtig scharf, sodass sie für mich kaum essbar war. Der Kimchi war richtig lecker, der ist sehr zu empfehlen! Auch das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente hat uns leider nicht so gut fallen, da es recht ungemütlich war.

Ein sehr modern eingerichtetes und durch Fotos auch sehr authentisches koreanisches Restaurant. Die Karte ist mehr als ausreichend, das Essen schmeckt fantastisch! Es hat zwar ein wenig gedauert, bis unser Hauptgang kam, aber dafür ist alles frisch und handgemacht. Die Bedienung ist zuvorkommend und super freundlich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Das Restaurant hat eine total schöne und entspannte Atmosphäre. Es gibt auch eine kleine "Kuschelecke" die sehr gemütlich ist! Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Essen war ausgezeichnet! :)

Das erste Mal war ich vor 13 Jahren dort, am 23.01.2013 mit einer Freundin die zu der Zeit dort wohnte und war damals schon total begeistert wie frisch und lecker es dort schmeckt! Es war so ein Geschmackserlebnis…. Wooowww Damals war es wirklich ein kleiner Insider, der Laden hatte 2-4 Tische, wirklich winzig und die Sushi wurde frisch vom Besitzer vor der Nase zubereitet, ein echtes kleines sehr freundliches Familien Unternehmen, leider ist es bei uns nicht ums eck, aber immer wenn wir in Dortmund sind, ist es mit einem Besuch bei euch verbunden, konnte sogar meinen Mann von Sushi überzeugen, tolle Auswahl, tolle Leute, einfach immer ein Besuch wert! Absolutely delicious! Amazing sushi and really tasty bibimbap!

The Korean food was delicious and authentic. The bimbap with minced meat and kimichi was very tasty! My dog ​​was allowed in, and the staff were delighted with her. Thank you for a lovely evening!

We had a really lovely evening there! 🥰 The sushi was incredibly delicious and fresh, the staff were super friendly, and everything was very clean. The price-performance ratio is absolutely perfect! It's just a shame that the tables are so close together – the people at the next table kept staring at us, which was a little uncomfortable 😅 But otherwise, everything was really great, we'll definitely be back!

At Len, the service is super friendly, accommodating to all requests, flexible, and extremely welcoming. The ambiance is absolutely stylish and cozy. But most importantly: the food is extraordinary and absolutely outstanding. The freshest salmon I've ever eaten. The bimbimbab are incredibly delicious. The starter is very, very tasty, and the nigiri and maki are exceptionally delicious. We'll definitely be back, as the value for money is more than just right.

This restaurant is very small, but the food is fantastic! The staff provide very friendly and attentive service, and you feel welcome. The prices are reasonable, and parking spaces and parking meters are located along the street. The restaurant mainly has tables for two people and only two tables for smaller groups (with a maximum of six people, it gets very tight). I therefore recommend groups of no more than five people. I tried the following dishes and can recommend them: bibimbap, miso soup, mandu, and sushi. It's definitely worth a visit, as the menu features many delicious dishes that are carefully and skillfully prepared.

We discovered this little “shop” by chance. Small, but very nice, you have to say. Warm service and really great food. Whether ramen or sushi... simply delicious.

Starter came with the main course. For me, ramen was similar to yumyum. No comparison to nukibox. The only thing they have in common is that they are both cold.

We went to Len Restaurant and had a great experience. We ordered both vegan and non-vegan bibimbap and ramen – and all of the dishes were delicious! The ingredients were fresh, the flavors perfectly balanced, and the dishes were tastefully prepared. We would particularly like to emphasize the excellent service. The staff was very friendly, attentive and made us feel welcome. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Korean cuisine (e.g. homemade teriyaki sauce)!

Because my daughter really wanted it and I wanted to try out the trend, we ordered two Vegan Korean Ramen to pick up. And I think it was the biggest crap I've ever eaten in a long time. Broth with lots of noodles, very little spinach, little mushrooms and tofu. It tasted cheap and was definitely very cheap to make. With a selling price of twelve euros for this boring soup, which I find incomprehensible, the operator should make a decent margin.

I tried a new dish – spicy ramen + extra egg. For me it wasn't spicy and it tasted really good. The service was friendly and the food came quickly. I was very satisfied and can only recommend it!

Great ambience. Lots of wood and an incredibly well-balanced light invite you to linger. The staff is friendly. The food was delicious, but a more authentic, high-quality menu would have fit the concept even better. The LEN doesn't have to hide in its price range, it just wasn't what we had hoped for. A missed opportunity, as more authentic cuisine with more exaggerated attention to detail would have fit perfectly into the concept. Then also at correspondingly higher prices. Still a good price-performance ratio at the moment. Vegetarians welcome, parking difficult.

A wonderful little restaurant. The ambience is pleasant and tasteful. The service is attentive and very friendly. The food is simply great. I had Midae Udon Gogi. I can't remember the last time I had such delicious Korean food. If I come to Dortmund, I will definitely come here again.

We were there for the first time last night and were very positively surprised. We haven't had such delicious, fresh sushi in a long time. It was completely delicious! A little icing on the cake for the future: if they still offered dessert.

It was very, very tasty! We ordered main courses and several small dishes as a group and everything tasted very good. The service was also great too! A small negative point: it is very loud. But we would still like to come back!

We had dinner there last night. Since we were there spontaneously, we didn't have a reservation. The staff was so friendly and nice that they made sure we got a free table. The ambience was beautiful and totally Asian style. I felt like I was sitting in Korea eating my food. It is small but very nicely decorated. I especially liked the beautiful Asian pictures. The food was incredibly delicious. We ordered the tempura curry and mandu twice. Everything was very tasty! I can only warmly recommend it. The food is very fresh and high quality. We would love to come back if we are in Dortmund.

A must in Dortmund since moving. The new opening times were 1:30 p.m. The sushi and service are outstanding and the curry and udon are perfect for a cold or rainy day.

After the new move the store looks even better! A little smaller, but still cozy and harmonious. The food is also very tasty and well priced. Of the drinks, I can recommend the Yuzu lemonade. There's an extra plus for the cute waiter with the tattoos ;)

The atmosphere at LEN is quite pleasant and the furnishings are very stylish. The service is friendly. I actually hoped for a lot more from the food: the sushi and the kimchi salad tasted good, the Maultaschen (MANDU) were unexpectedly crispy and not as soft as I originally know them, which was probably due to the way they were prepared (fried). There is a vegan curry (VEGAN KOJA CURRY RICE) that tastes more like a curry sauce with few vegetables than a real, full-bodied curry. The portion was sufficient - so appropriate for the price (two people could have eaten one portion including starters). Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't convince me with the food on offer.

April 2021: Maybe the best sushi I've ever eaten. Everything is prepared very attractively, even for people away from home. Very tasty and tasty. All that's missing is delivery to our hometown. There are still 5 stars. Update February 2024: Seating options have now been added in a modern, but still pleasant atmosphere. The staff is great. In terms of quality and taste, the offering is unsurpassed. The prices are justified for this. Be sure to reserve in good time. 5 stars are minimum! Repeat is certain!

New venue of the KimBaBBox is modern and puristic in design. A nicely decorated eatery invites to casual korean dining. Sushi rolls are tasty. Chicken Curry bowl really nice. Tea comes in simple designed pots and cups. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Definitely one of the better restaurants in Kreuzviertel.

Das Essen verdammt gut, der Service auch sehr gut , freundliches Personal, das einzige was mich stört ist wie es da drin aussieht , is verbesserungswürdig.

Bestes Sushi im Raum Dortmund, allerdings sind die Öffnungszeiten abenteuerlich und wir wurden auch schon freitags das ein oder andere Mal mit unserer Bestellung abgewiesen, da zu viel zu tun war. (Was eben die Frage aufwirft, ob man evtl den Laden länger öffnet oder zB am Samstag). Kartenzahlung ist ebenfalls nicht möglich was bei den Preisen nicht ganz nachvollziehbar ist. Aber wie schon gesagt, das Sushi ist perfekt! Deswegen bestellen wir auch weiterhin dort :)

Meiner Meinung nach mit das beste Sushi in Do! Vorort gibt es sehr wenige Sitzplätze. Wir bestellen meist zum Abholen. Es gibt immer kostenlosen Kimschi dazu! Die Nudelsuppe ist auch super lecker.

Hier gibts mit das beste Sushi der Stadt, bekommt nur leider nicht so viel Aufmerksamkeit wie die großen Ketten :( Sehr zu empfehlen, vor allem alles mit Tunfisch-Creme ist extrem lecker!

Eigentlich bin ich großer Kimbabox Fan, war aber von unserem letzten Besuch hier sehr enttäuscht. Bei der Reservierung wurde schon gesagt, dass es aktuell keine Getränke gebe. Das hätte uns schon stutzig machen sollen. Am Ende saß man am Tisch neben der andauernd zu knallenden Tür während ein lieferdienst nach dem anderen seine Bestellungen abgeholt hat. Besser bestellen und zuhause essen - vor Ort lohnt sich dies leider gar nicht mehr! Nichtsdestotrotz ist das Essen sehr lecker.

Das Sushi ist immer frisch und sehr lecker. =) Bei Vorbestellung muss man auch nicht lange warten. Einen extra Dank, dass meine Bestellung heute von der jungen Dame zu Tür gebracht worden ist, da ich mit Kinderwagen unterwegs war und konnte nicht so gut wegen Stufe rein! 🥰

Tasty, small, cozy and nostalgic... these would be the terms I'd use to describe KimBaBBox! Especially nostalgic because of the salmon nigiri I had with a side of wasabi, that actually reminded me of my 20th birthday trying them out (and eating with chopsticks!) for the very first time in my life. I'd definitely visit them again in Dortmund.

Kimbab im Namen, aber kein Kimbab im Angebot. Generell keine koreanische Küche. Nicht irre führen lassen! Als Koreaner schmerzt das, allen Anderen egal: Ist ja eh alles das Gleiche... Wenigstens schmeckt der Sushi.

Wir waren heute das erste Mal hier und haben uns ein wenig durch die Karte probiert. Alles war hübsch angerichtet und hat sehr lecker und frisch geschmeckt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und es gab auch keine langen Wartezeiten. Die Futo Maki Rollen habe ich heute zum ersten Mal gegessen und sie haben mich sehr positiv überrascht. Durch den Salat hatte man eine nicht scharfe "palate cleanser" Alternative zum Salat. Die Suppe war eine super Option für meinen Freund, der kein großer Sushifan ist. Sie war angenehm würzig. Alles in allem eine super Erfahrung. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen. ^^

Hervorragendes Sushi in wirklich tollem gemütlichen Ambiente. Die Menüs und die Platten sind schön angerichtet. Das Team ist super freundlich und kümmert sich sehr gut. Ich werde das nächste Mal in Dortmund wieder hier her kommen. Eine echte Empfehlung, bzw Geheimtipp. Von außen würde man das nicht erwarten.

Excellent miso soup, really good sushi, very reasonably priced

Ich habe aufgrund von vielen begeisterten Empfehlungen bestellt. Die Lieferung über Cabdo kam super pünktlich (ich habe mit 3 Stunden Vorlaufzeit bestellt). Von der Qualität des Sushis war ich eher enttäuscht. Die Futo-Rolls sind allesamt auseinander gefallen, weil sie so schlecht/locker gerollt waren. Auch die anderen Rolls waren z.T. eher lieblos geschnitten. Verhältnis Reis-Füllung hat nicht gepasst, sodass man zwischen den Sorten keinen großen Unterschied gescheckt hat. Die Misosuppe war ok, schaffe ich so aber auch selbst zuzubereiten, für das Sushi gilt das ebenso. Die Zutaten waren frisch. Die Verpackung war gut und es gab drei gratis Salate. Insgesamt war ich eher enttäuscht, ich weiß nicht, ob der Meister gestern krank war, wenn ich die Bewertungen hier so lese.
