I can't understand the good reviews at all. When I think of Asian fusion, I imagine experimental Asian cuisine. The curry I had was mediocre at best, but it's not something I'd go to a restaurant for. The most unpleasant thing was that we weren't told until the end of the visit that payment was cash only. Offering only cash in 2025 is unrealistic. My friend had to go to the nearby Rewe supermarket and buy something to withdraw cash.

Ami is an excellent restaurant for sushi and other Asian dishes. I deliberately say "Asian" because the cuisine here is inspired by several Asian countries – not just Japan. The service was fast, attentive, and very friendly – ​​we felt completely at home. The three of us ordered kimchi, wakame, summer rolls, and edamame as appetizers, along with a generous selection of sushi for the main course and mochi ice cream and sesame balls for dessert. With a drink each, our bill came to around €140. The price is rather high, but reasonable for what we had. We were satisfied and had a lovely evening.

The shrimp had no taste, and €18 for that is a joke! You can get much better food at the Asian restaurant by the train station for a third of the price!
