November 18, 2025 We are regulars here and always enjoy coming back. Many of my clients have also developed a taste for it and enjoy the buffet. The service is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food is always fresh and delicious. The value for money is unbeatable, and for those looking for cheaper options these days, there's ready-made mush in every supermarket. For the price, you simply can't recreate this variety at home. It's truly value, quality, and appreciation. Update March 30, 2023 We still enjoy visiting Shanghai City quite often. The food, including the buffet, is fantastic and fresh. So far, all the food has not only been hot and readily available at the buffet, but the buffet staff has also been quick to replenish the selection. All in all, I really enjoy coming here, and the owners are not only attentive and friendly but also very lovely people. Absolutely recommended! ❣️❣️❣️ Realistically speaking, if we're being honest, you really can't complain about being able to eat as much as you want at the lunch buffet, including the salad bar, for just €9.90. And anyone who expects duck for that price in a small town is beyond help. The price/performance ratio is fantastic!!!! Yes, I'm back again 🤷 because I can't help myself. The food is still delicious. ✨✨✨ And now, I'm not being allowed in because I'm healthy... It's a good thing I often went out into the streets to make sure the restaurants were allowed to open. How have we even managed to survive until now... with all these truly dangerous diseases? I love Chinese/Asian food... I'd love to have a personal chef, the one from Shanghai City, no less ;) No, of course not!!! It's about the whole atmosphere, the friendly owners, the service. I've lived in Bad Oldesloe for 11 years and am a frequent guest here, as is my husband. That shows how good the food is. The lunch buffet is unbeatable for the price: €6.90 for adults and €3.90 for children. There are two raw vegetable salads, stir-fried vegetables, e.g., broccoli, mung beans, fried rice, fried noodles, rice, beef with carrots (absolutely delicious), chicken with green beans, and more. Pork dishes, baked fish, baked chicken, tofu, fried bananas, and fruit salad are all available. The evening buffet, from Friday to Sunday, also features delicious salmon and duck. The price: €11.90 – excellent value for money! The owners are very friendly and attentive, and they often have a little time to exchange a few kind words. After 11 years, you can see how quickly time flies, especially with children. We'll be back again this week to enjoy the delicious buffet. P.S. All the other dishes are also delicious and highly recommended. I don't think there's anything on the menu we haven't tried.

That was my first and last time here. The squid tasted like it still had the ink in it. A boy with glasses was doing an Asian TikTok dance at the next table while we ate. It was unbearable. Another guy with a McDonald's-style center part was crying because someone had put salt in his food with the salt shaker. I'll only come back if they lower their prices again and start kicking people out.

The buffet was rather small, and the quality of the food was standard for a Chinese restaurant. However, it was quickly refilled and clean. The ambiance was also rather average. The stairs leading up to the restaurant could use some renovation.

It's a shame we're closed for the holidays, I'll be back again!

Here, all the dishes are prepared with care. Unlike some other run-of-the-mill all-you-can-eat buffets, the focus here is on quality over quantity. The service was very friendly and prompt, and they were also very kind to my 4-year-old child. The prices are very reasonable. If I'm back in Bad Oldesloe, I'll come back here.

The all-you-can-eat buffet offers good value for money. 😎 Staff are a bit overwhelmed by the high volume of guests. Staff are very friendly despite the stress. Very nice ice cream selection at the dessert buffet.

Wir waren mit 11 Personen zu Gast. Buffet pro Person 18,00 €. 17.30 Uhr waren wir da und 18.00 Uhr sollte das Buffet eröffnen. Bis dahin füllte sich das Restaurant. Ab 18.00 Uhr war das Buffet nur mäßig mit Speisen gefüllt. Es gab von allen Gerichten immer nur etappenweise etwas. Man konnte also nicht alles probieren. Was aber auch nicht nötig ist denn jedes Essen mit Soße hat gleich geschmeckt (Hähnchen, Schwein und Rind) man hatte das Gefühl daß alles Fertiggerichte aus dem Großmarkt serviert wurden. Fazit, nie wieder.

We were really excited. A manageable buffet that still had a good selection. The food was always fresh and of extremely good quality. Parents and children were very satisfied. Furthermore, the very good price-performance ratio should be mentioned. A cozy atmosphere and friendly and attentive staff make it easier for us to decide whether to come back again.

We were there during the week and chose the buffet option. The selection was very satisfactory for us. The price-performance ratio is absolutely appropriate. And the service is very friendly. Since the restaurant on the 1st floor is accessible via stairs, it is therefore not barrier-free. Parking spaces are available nearby.

Standard Chinese man, but well made. Of course you won't find any culinary delights. You can do it well. Avoid the calamari.

We had the lunch buffet for €10.50 The soup was top. Most of the other dishes were made with chicken. Which was fine with us personally. If you expect duck for the price, you will be disappointed. Dessert (ice cream) is only available for an additional charge of €1. Overall, the food is not bad in taste. The restaurant is on the 1st floor and is quite small for a Chinese restaurant. The service is good friendly.

We visited the lunch buffet around 2 p.m.; When we asked, we were told that it was already too late for the sushi that had been announced and that, despite the buffet being open until 3 p.m., it was no longer worth trying. I think the costs are just too high here. It's a shame, it would be nice to know something like that in advance. Uncomfortable chairs, very narrow tables, the buffet has very little choice, very long waiting times when the buffet needs to be refilled. So I've had much better Chinese buffet food...

Very tasty food. We helped ourselves to the buffet. The ambience is really a bit sparse and partly in need of renovation. If that doesn't bother you, you can eat lekker here. The prices are also reasonable.

There were two of us and we were allowed to choose a table. The food was top class, we chose the evening buffet because everything was very fresh. After the dishes were empty, they were refilled in a short time. It's a small evening buffet, but that's what it's about Very, very tasty. All the dishes at the buffet were not overly seasoned, but rather spicy. All in all, a highly recommended restaurant. In terms of price, we can only recommend this whole service.

The furnishings in the restaurant itself are kept simple and the decoration is not exaggerated. The staff, I think the boss herself, is nice, friendly and attentive. The lunch buffet is very extensive. Many different freshly prepared, tasty dishes are offered. The sauces are well labeled so everyone can find their favorite. Missing food is quickly replenished. It would be nice if the plates were preheated. The sanitary facilities are not the most modern, but they are clean and tidy.

Wir waren dort zum Mittagsbuffet für 9,90€. Das Essen war schmackhaft und gut temperiert. Leider gibt es wenig frisches Gemüse, daher 4 von 5 Sternen. Eis kostet 1€ extra, Honig gibt es leider nicht zu den gebackenen Bananen, schade. Das Ambiente.... Renovierungsbedürftig trifft es am besten. Aber es ist alles sauber.

Eine sehr durchschnittliche Lokation. Schlicht und "altbacken" Das Buffet ist selbstverständlich frisch -schmeckt aber irgendwie Alles gleich. Ein Teller-Gericht ist günstiger und so reichhaltig, dass sich das Buffet nur für "gute Esser" lohnt. Etwas befremdlich (hygienetechnisch) ist, dass das Sushi (roher Fisch) in derselben Kühlung ist wie das Dessert (Dosenobst und aufgetaute Mini-Windbeutel) und der Salat.. (es kann also auch Mal eine ölige Olive ins Obst oder Fisch in die Windbeutel fallen)

Habe meinen Papa ausgeführt und auf die google Bewertungen verlassen. Das Ambiente ist sehr bescheiden. Eher eine Kantine, gebastelten Dekostoff, Lampen mit alufolie am Buffet. Alles furchtbar billig und Schrott. Die Stühle waren solide, aber auf den Tischen Papierdecke. Essen war nicht sehr abwechslungsreich. Kam aber immer frisch nachgeliefert. Speisen fantasielos, und schlecht präsentiert. Ich habe sushi probiert, aber das sollte in dieser Form nicht angeboten werden..sehr schlecht, fade, Reis nicht klebrig. Als Nachtisch gab es eis und Windbeutel. Eis wässrig Windbeutel warm!!!!! Ich glaube die wissen nicht wie man Windbeutel präsentiert, oder die waren vom Vortag, beides NO GO DA GEH ICH NIE WIEDER HIN. Service gab es nicht, schlechgelaunte Frauen liefen hin und her aber keine hat gefragt ob es schmeckt und sonst keine Kommunikation

Leider ist dies Restaurant im ersten Stock. Es gibt kein Fahrstuhl. Sonst ein gutes Restaurant mit vielen Gerichten für jeden Geschmack.

In der Umgebung auf jeden Fall das günstigste Buffet Abends (und am Wochenende). Besonders wichtig für mich: Kartenzahlung (EC) ist möglich! Das Essen ist gut und die Auswahl ist Standard. Einen Besuch ist es Wert.

Wir haben mit 11 Leuten Buffet gegessen. Ja, es war zwischendurch fast alles leer, aber es wurde auch immer noch nachgereicht. Es musste keiner verhungern und beim Buffetessen lässt man sich in der Regel auch etwas Zeit. Der Preis war meiner Meinung nach preiswert, wenn man bedenkt, dass wir auch noch Getränke zusätzlich hatten.

Einfaches chinesisches Restaurant mit zumindest guter Preis-Leistung beim Mittagsbuffet....

Das Essen und der Service waren wirklich super. Aber scheinbar ist die Abluftanlage der Küche nicht in Ordnung, unsere Kleidung roch nach dem Besuch extrem nach Küche!! Während wir im Restaurant waren haben wir das nicht wahrgenommen, hier muss dringend etwas unternommen werden!

Beste Essen … die Suppe ein Traum… kleines Restaurant, aber das was aufgetischt wird ist wirklich sehr gut 👍 macht weiter so 🙏

...immer gleichbleibende Qualität. Lecker, einfach und klassisch. Das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis ist super. Besonders das Mittagsbuffett bietet für alle etwas. Das Ambiente ist schon recht in die Jahre gekommen. Sowohl Mobiliar als auch Deko haben sich in den letzten Jahren nicht verändert. Das Personal bzw die Inhaber sind sehr nett und kinderfreundlich . Man fühlt sich gleich wohl.

Ich war spontan in diesem Restaurant und war sehr überrascht von der Qualität und dem Geschmack des Essens. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und das Lokal offenbar frisch renoviert. Die Preise sind recht günstig. Ich kann das Lokal nur weiterempfehlen und werde bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Bad Oldesloe wieder dort hingehen.

Das Restaurant liegt im Zentrum von Bad Oldesloe, im ersten Geschoss (kein Fahrstuhl) eines Altbaus. Die Einrichtung ist eher veraltet, aber bis auf das Aquarium am Eingang ist alles sauber. Die Speisekarte bietet eine recht große Auswahl, zudem gibt es ein Buffet. Wir wählten das Abendbuffet. Leider war die Auswahl eher gering, die Speisen sehr glutamathaltig und dennoch vom Geschmack recht fade. Die Fleischgerichte waren leider alle recht trocken. Das Sushi kurz vor ungenießbar und hatte mit Sushi nichts zu tun. Das Eis zum Dessert war kristallines Billigeis. Die Bedienung war nett und auch recht schnell. Getränke sind alle Standard, der Tee ist jedoch nicht zu empfehlen. Alles in allem keinen zweiten Besuch wert.

Dieses Restaurant ist mir von Freunden empfohlen worden. Beim ersten Blick, wirkt es nicht sehr edel, aber der Eindruck täuscht. Die Bedienung ist äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend und die Speisen hervorragend! Ich habe dort sowohl a la carte, als auch das Buffet gewählt. Das Abendbuffet ist sehr frisch, reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Es gibt Rind-, Schwein-, Hähnchen-, Ente-, Fisch und vegetarische Gerichte zur Auswahl. Die Beilagen sind ebenfalls sehr frisch und lecker. Der Sushi-Fan wird auch hier auf seine Kosten kommen. Salat und Nachspeisen, sowie verschiedene Eiscreme-Sorten runden das Buffet ab. Ich habe schon einige asiatische Buffets getestet, aber dieses hier ist wirklich Spitzenklasse! Auch die a la Carte Speisen stehen dem in nichts nach. Wenn ich mit meiner Familie chinesisch Essen gehen möchte, nehmen wir hierfür den weiten Weg von fast 70km auf uns, denn dieses Restaurant kocht Spitzenklasse !!! Als Anregung wäre vielleicht eine etwas besser angepasste Innenausstattung (statt der griechischen Deckenlampen vielleicht asiatische) und vielleicht die Möglichkeit der Kartenzahlung. Mehr gibt es nicht zu verbessern.

Min kæreste og jeg besøgte restauranten i forbindelse med vores spaophold på byens lokale spa- og wellnesshotel. Restauranten levede op til vores forventninger. Lækker kinesisk buffet med dertilhørende isbuffet. Alle de forventede retter var i buffeten og det smagte lækkert. Personalet var venlige og talte engelsk. Eneste man skal være opmærksom på er, at restauranten ikke tager kreditkort.
