Ginseng in Leipzig

We went there spontaneously, just to eat. We were very impressed; it was delicious. Great selection and excellent service. Next time we'll have Peking duck, but you have to order a few days in advance. It costs €55, but it's worth it.

We've been coming to Gynseng for dinner for at least four years, and I have to say the quality of the food and the restaurant itself has improved significantly! Today we had the giant spring roll, and it was delicious! You can tell it was made fresh; the ingredients inside were very flavorful and fresh (not the stuffing you find in frozen spring rolls). We had the Luc Lac (with beef), which wasn't bad at all—a very generous portion. Then we had the Gong-Po Hähnchen, a little spicy, but the chicken was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. My new favorite dish today is definitely the Ente Saté. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the Glasnudeln were the perfect accompaniment. Highly recommended! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The bathrooms are very clean. This is the perfect restaurant for a nice dinner with family or friends.

I'm very often here but as disgusting as this time, a Peking soup was brown today not reddish like usual, hardly tasted of Peking soup and the duck meat was almost only fat in the batter, either the trainees can't cook or want to get rid of regular customers, the full price for such food is outrageous

Really disappointing today. been coming here for years. Always super fresh. Today didn't work at all. Today only 5 Christmas dishes for around 20 EURO each, the rest of the menu was too tied up because it wasn't available. Unfortunately it wasn't announced anywhere beforehand. Unfortunately, the chicken was drowned in sauce so that the breading was just a soft mass. The vegetables were overcooked and lacked flavor Rice not enough for 3 people. Apparently the regular chef was on vacation. Too bad.

As always, very tasty food, friendly and nice, even if the young waitress was very hectic and forgetful...

Great food at a good price/performance ratio. It's a shame for the Ginseng team that it's so difficult to get there. Everything is too built with roadblocks. Nevertheless, the journey there is absolutely worth it. So if you want to support a great restaurant, please make the effort.

The starter (wonton & summer roll) was inedible. We had to give both back. We then canceled the main course. Unfortunately the atmosphere is not that nice.

The food is simply always great. Special requests are taken into account. The duck is crispy on the outside and pink on the inside! Crazy.We also work in the catering industry and can only praise the food. Best dim sum! Great, friendly and warm service. For me the best Asian in Leipzig. We've been coming for years! Keep it up!

Gastronomy is fine. Service is friendly. Price is okay too. Parking is limited as there is no separate parking space for the restaurant. But the tram in front of the door.

Unfortunately, poor parking options. Communication is not possible with all service employees. Warning about the 'Peking Duck'. If your local bar, which serves you a bockwurst when you're really hungry, suddenly offers coq au vin, you should be careful. A Vietnamese lacks a feeling for the 'Peking duck'. The asking price is far from reality. The relationship doesn't fit at all.

Es gibt nichts wirklich großes zu meckern, aber eben auch nicht viel was man loben könnte. Das Essen ist in Ordnung, aber eben auch nicht wirklich gut. Schmeckt irgendwie als hätte ich es zu Hause gemacht. Ohne dieses Gewisse extra wofür man ja unter anderem in ein Restaurant geht. Für Service gilt das Gleiche: Irgendwie in Ordnung aber nicht besonders gut. Beim Ambiente muss ich allerdings noch einen Stern mehr geben denn das Restaurant hat die schönste Buddha Figur die ich je gesehen habe, die hat mir ein Lächeln ins Gesicht gezaubert.

Ausgezeichnetes Essen! Das Dim Sun ist sehr gut, die Ente in Sate ist ausgezeichnet, der Reis ist top, die Süß -Sauer-Sauce ist sehr gut und nicht einfach nur süß. Wirklich sehr sehr gut und dazu noch ein top Service. Das Restaurant sieht zudem gut aus. Wir waren zu viert und sind sehr zufrieden. Auch die Preise sind echt in Ordnung zur jetzigen Zeit.

Seit Jahren sehr gutes Essen, stets freundliche Bedienung, familiäre Atmosphäre.

Eine schöne Terasse, leider scheint deren Müll um die Ecke zu stehe, dem Geruch nach zu urteilen. Sobald das Essen kam , waren wir umringt von unzähligen Ausflügen, deshalb kommt ein weiterer Besuch für uns nicht in Frage. Das Müllproblem sollte erst mal behoben werden.

Das Essen war einfach gut. Ich habe ein Dreigang-Menü gehabt. Preislich und geschmacklich einfach unschlagbar. Montags bis Freitags spezielle Karte zum Mittagessen.

sehr freundliche Gastgeber aber Essensqualität durchschnittlich und vor allem Menge ungenügend … und das obwohl ich vorher fragte welches Gericht ausreichen groß ist, daraufhin bestellten wir KEINE Mittagsmenüs weil diese noch kleiner sind … dann wäre es wohl auf Kinderportionen hinausgelaufen … ich habe noch nie eine so süße Currysauce gegessen … sehr schade für 17,50 pro Essensportion

Es gibt eine vielfältige ( auch vietnamesische) Küche zu annehmbaren Preisen. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Es war etwas kühl im Lokal, es empfiehlt sich, sich im Winter etwas wärmer anzuziehen. Aber das Essen war megalecker, die Bedienung sehr schnell, freundlich und humorvoll. Wir kommen gerne wieder her.

Wir haben das Restaurant das erste Mal besucht. Es gab eine gute Auswahl an Speisen und es war geschmacklich auch sehr gut und die Portionen mehr als ausreichend. Auf Sonderwünsche sind sie direkt eingegangen. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam und freundlich und das Restaurant auch nicht so vollgestopft. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder :-)

El mejor pato de la zona también es uno de los únicos lugares que hacen y preparan los patos ellos mismos, más personal muy amable y precios justos.

Kontinuität ist auch ein gutes Markenzeichen. Wir waren wieder mit dem Essen und der Bedienung zufrieden. Haben wir erneut in der Gegend etwas zu erledigen werden wir wieder hier essen.

Ein kleines, aber feines asiatisches Restaurant mit umfangreicher Speisekarte und sehr freundlicher Bedienung. Die Preise liegen vollkommen im Rahmen. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet und ist sehr schmackhaft. Das Ambiente ist einfach, aber nicht spartanisch, die Atmosphäre freundlich und entspant. Für ein angenehmes Abendessen sehr zu empfehlen.
