Lamies in Leipzig

Lamies has become abysmally bad since the change of management. I'm going somewhere else now. Don't be fooled by the good reviews.

The quality here has been drastically reduced... It was once one of the best pizzas. I strongly advise against pizzas here!

Good quick pizza to eat out at the table or to take way.

The owner has changed. I ordered the Pizza Amore, but instead of seitan, they put beef on the pizza. The pizza cost €6; I paid €10 and only got €3 back. They're trying to figure out what they can do. The pizza isn't as good as it used to be. The dough is too thick and there's too much cheese, making it too greasy.

It used to be a very good place! But what I was served today was simply terrible!!!

Lamies was always the first place in Connewitz for something delicious to eat. The pizzas were excellent, and so was the cheeseburger. Seemingly, everything has changed since then; neither the pizzas nor the "drunken cheeseburgers" are particularly good. Everything seems far too clean for Connewitz, as all the stickers on the counter have been removed. Lamies used to be the best pizza place, but that's over, and that's probably our last visit.

The owners changed hands about a month ago, and since then, we've noticed a lack of love here. The shop is doing well, but the food isn't nearly as good. This is heartbreaking, especially since the stickers on the counter are also missing. We'll be going somewhere else for kebabs from now on.

We've been there several times after concerts. Giant pizza (40 cm in diameter) with Italian-style dough – absolutely delicious for €8. Absolutely recommend it!

Best vegan kebab! I come here regularly and love the vegan seitan kebab. Great selection of sauces, and the fries are amazing too! The owner is super nice! 100% recommended!

One of the best kebabs I've ever eaten, and I don't even want to mention the value for money. €6 for a kebab with cheese, which I almost couldn't finish, even though I normally eat kebabs without any problems. And the owner is also a very warm and accommodating person. I'd be happy to go back!

Super tasty and fair prices. For me, the best kebab in Connewitz. The pizza prices are also fair. Addendum: Card payments accepted starting from the first euro. Still perfect!

During my weekend stay in Leipzig as a Berliner, I wanted to try out the local kebab culture. Unfortunately, the visit to the kebab shop in question turned out to be a big disappointment. Here is a detailed description of my experience: Taste and quality of the kebab: The kebab did not meet my expectations in any way. The meat was partially burnt, leaving an unpleasant, bitter taste. In some places it was even raw, which not only spoiled the enjoyment but was also a health risk. The lettuce and red cabbage, which were supposed to provide freshness and crunch, felt like rubber between my teeth. This consistency suggests that the ingredients were either not fresh or poorly prepared. Price-performance ratio: The prices are relatively cheap in comparison. A kebab there only costs 5 euros, which at first glance seems to be a good deal. Unfortunately, the quality of the food suffers due to this low price, which negates the supposed advantage. Ambience and condition of the store: The condition of the kebab shop was also disappointing. The shop looked run down and not particularly attractive. A clean and inviting ambience contributes significantly to the overall experience, and there was a clear need for improvement here. Conclusion: Overall, I cannot recommend the kebab shop in Leipzig. The low price cannot make up for the significant deficiencies in quality and ambience. As a Berliner who is used to the variety and quality of kebab shops in the capital, this experience was particularly disappointing. If you are looking for a good kebab in Leipzig, you should look for alternatives.

The guy that works here is a legend. He stayed open late to serve the people. And what he served was delicious.

There is really great food here. Vegan, vegetarian - something for everyone. Price performance is great and there are lots of sauces. Highly Recommended :)

The shop is inconspicuous from the outside and takes some getting used to inside. Nevertheless, for a very good price you get delicious and, above all, large portions, which sometimes take a little long to prepare, but are a huge recommendation simply because of their price-performance ratio. Special recommendations are the cheeseburger or double burger with potato wedges, which can be added to the burger for an additional charge of just €1. The service is very friendly so you always feel welcome here. Well deserved 5 🌟

varied vegan dishes, good value for money

Doner kebab was very sparsely topped (salad was omitted upon request because there was no salad request for take-away kebab) - asked whether salad could be taken away separately if such a thinly topped kebab still costs the full price - was rudely rejected. Thanks for nothing (very little...) Better to dine somewhere else

Cheeseburger mit Pommes sehr lecker-Pommes schön knusprig braun, kenne ich so nicht von kleinen Imbissen, der Burger war gut.

Dönerladen mit großer Auswahl, riesigen Pizzen und veganen Gerichten zu absolut fairen Preisen und mit einem sehr sympathischen Betreiber Schön ist der Laden nicht aber das machen die anderen Punkte absolut wett

Unfreundlicher Typ macht mir einen Döner, der zu 90 Prozent aus Salat besteht. Ich werde die Hoffnung nicht aufgeben, dass Menschen die in der Gastronomie arbeiten irgendwann verstehen, dass Freundlichkeit essenziell ist! Hier komm ich zumindest nicht nochmal her.

Gute Pizza zu vernünftigen Preisen

Das Essen ist frisch und lecker. Die Bedienung ist freundlich. Im Angebot ist für jeden was dabei (egal ob vegan oder carnivor) und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut. Der Laden hat sich in den letzten neun Jahren immer mal verändert, aber das Essen war immer gleichbleibend gut.

Leckere Döner Falafel oder Pizzen! Frisch und jeder Wunsch wird erfüllt. Immer frische Zutaten und man sieht die Zubereitung, auch alle Soßen sind lecker! Achtung kann süchtig machen! 😀

Mega große Pizza und echt lecker

Leckerer Döner Und Dürüm. Ich war in letzter Zeit häufiger da und freue mich in meiner Gegend doch einen anständigen Dönerladen zu haben. Die anderen Gerichte sehen auch immer lecker aus. Manchmal sollte man ein paar Minuten mehr einplanen.

Ich esse hier sehr, sehr gerne. Die vegane Auswahl ist toll und die Pizza ist riesig. Ich habe noch nirgends so einen guten Seitan gegessen wie hier.

Sieht nicht besonders einladend aus. Essen ist aber lecker.

Friendly staff and top notch pizza

Fantastische Pizzen zum niedrigen Preis, wahlweise sogar vegan. Burger sind in Ordnung. Vegetarische und vegane Döner/Dürums sind gut (Halloumi, Falafel, Seitan). Mitarbeiter immer freundlich, kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.
