Yes, the prices have increased and that's not so nice, but that's the case everywhere. I think the fries are even better since the change. You can also sit comfortably. every day is friesday😍

Fries weren't cooked through and the curry sauce just tasted sweet. There was no real mayo either, just a vegan hipster version without access to the list of ingredients (which isn't even available on the internet) I'd rather make my currywurst myself next time...

Frittenwerk is always my preferred stop for fast food. The price is a bit high, but you'll definitely get full. As a rule, you don't have to wait long for your food and it tastes good too. Unfortunately, I'm disappointed that the Chilli Cheese Fries were removed from the vegan range just in time for Veganury... I'm also mourning the Bolo Fries, which unfortunately have been missing for a while. I hope that new vegan creations won't be too long in coming. :)

I love it here. I like the atmosphere, it looks very cozy and you can always find a place. The prices are absolutely reasonable. From 3.90 you can easily get full. The menu is absolutely fine and offers enough choice. The fries are usually nice and crispy and warm. What I find absolutely fantastic is the selection of vegetarian but especially vegan options. We are here regularly. I can recommend it to anyone who doesn't like mcces and the like and wants to be full for longer.

Despite the main station, it's easy to live here as far as the atmosphere is concerned. The fries weren't anything special, as I initially expected. The staff, well, I had to complain about my order twice because the wrong fries and topping were served twice. Unfortunately, the staff doesn't know their own products and it was only when a colleague came out of the kitchen that the staff realized what I had ordered. No smile, no sorry, more annoyed why you don't eat what you're given. It's a shame that the impact doesn't match the quality and the staff.

Very, very nice. 2 employees are particularly nice, no matter what time of day you are there. I also love the smell of garlic. Some of the best the train station has to offer, alongside Ludwig Café and Vitalia Reformhaus.

Very pleasant and tasty. The non-meat products are also highly recommended. Also very nice that these don't cost extra. Whenever I travel by train, I like to come half an hour early and eat here!

The service, equipment and design of the restaurant were great. I had the currywurst with fries, but I wasn't impressed with the food. The fries were pretty tasteless and the further you got to the bottom of the bowl, the more soggy the fries were from all the ketchup and mayo. That's why the last few fries were no longer edible for me. This could be avoided by serving the dips separately from the fries - also configurable via an option during the ordering process to make everyone happy.

UPDATE: 11/27/2024 I've now given Frittenwerk a second chance and I have to honestly say it has developed so well since then that the food tastes really good, especially the currywurst and I'm more than thrilled with how much the quality has improved with the lady at the checkout was super friendly and I will come more often now! ---Old review--- Food was really good because it was vegan, it tasted very bland, it was pretty unseasoned and there were larger pieces in the avocado cream which made you lose your appetite. I really don't understand the hype, it was like a middle class restaurant really only has 2 stars for more it wasn't enough

The food is really very good and the ambience is really very cozy and they also saved on plants. There are plants everywhere and there are moss paintings made of real moss hanging on the walls, so in general it's a very successful fast food and a better alternative to McDonald's (you need to know)

Modern and chic atmosphere but the food is subpar (I realize it's a matter of taste) and very expensive. The fries are soggy and have no taste. Tried once and not worth the money. EDIT: I didn't finish it because it really didn't taste good at all.

Had currywurst with fries. Fries totally soft and not cooked through. Unfortunately, currywurst doesn't taste good either. It tasted more like a vegan sausage.

This was our second time at Frittenwerk. After Berlin now Leipzig and it was very good again the fries were very tasty with currywurst also very tasty I can't say anything about the service except for the solution word I had no contact with the employees. The ambience is very appealing with the wood and the vertical moss. Now about the star deduction when entering it at the terminal, I had to enter how much tip I wanted to give even though I hadn't had any contact with the people yet and didn't know the service. That's a bit outrageous and the fact that the no button is also red, which is psychological I don't think it's good to cause a conflict of conscience. A glass with tips written on it would be better for me. Since everyone works at minimum wage these days, as does my wife (she doesn't get tips), tips are only given for good service and definitely not all in advance. Otherwise 5 stars. Still recommended.

I am always amazed. The selection is very large and there are not just run-of-the-mill red/white fries. Every variation I have tried so far has been simply delicious and varied. You can also choose different fries. There are also good alternatives for vegans and vegetarians. Ordering is usually done very quickly via a terminal where you can search at your leisure and order yourself. If that's technically too much for you, you can also order at the checkout. The location is very cool. I like the music and the ambience.

The food itself was good, but the price-performance ratio didn't work at all. I wasn't really hungry and that didn't change after eating. Portion size far too small!!! The topping is great, there should have been more fries for the price!

The unpretentiousness of all the “eaters” here is frightening and even disgusting. Food was tasteless to the point of yuck. If I hadn't treated myself to 4 euros or a 0.33 drink, nothing would have happened. Thank you also for the generous tip suggestions for self-order, people rarely like to give 0%. Shameless yuck shed.

I really like the frit work itself. My first visit was a real revelation when it came to fries and poutine. Unfortunately, my follow-up visit didn't do much good. either a portion that is far too small or like today: almost cold fries. I returned it and got a new portion of pink persia without any problems. but instead of the garlic fries I ordered, I now had normal ones. It wasn't a problem and the fries were now warm. I ate it so I wouldn't have to return it again. But if I have a complaint as a service, I would pay particular attention to ensuring that the food comes out 100% correctly the second time. I'm not particularly interested in visiting again soon.

Very, very tasty and beautifully decorated! In addition, the orders are called out with names from popular culture (Gandalf, Hagrid, Captain America, etc) instead of the classic numbers. It's funny, entertaining and original. My only suggestion for improvement would be perhaps two serving sizes on offer. The normal size is very, very large and it would be great if there was a separate size for small appetites or children. Otherwise great!

Unfortunately I can't give zero for the non-existent service. Ordering and payment is carried out in one terminal in a very modern way!' Now you would think that they are dealing with the essentials!' Unfortunately my fries were gray and limp. The currywurst was boring and so was the tomato sauce. Why is there such a loveless offer????!

Brilliant concept! Had the Tijuana Street fries with guac & co., could be swapped for sweet potato fries. Delicious toppings & different sauces, love the pink hummus! Vegan options are easily possible!

My husband and I have been customers for years and it has always been delicious and our little son also enjoyed eating it. Only today it is very FATTY, TOTALLY salty and fries are very FATTY and flabby like spaghetti. The drink we had with it was really great. Afterwards we'll vomit EVIL🤢 I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO YOU The service worker cleaned windows with detergent in addition to preparing the food.

Regardless of whether it was delivered or picked up yourself, every other time a full portion or an extra ingredient for which you paid 1-3 euros is missing. Once everything is there, it's very tasty, but you have to count each portion and open the lid to check whether everything is as you ordered it. Just today we lost around €8 again because we naively assumed that we wouldn't be left with a whole portion of fries and didn't count immediately.

My partner and I decided to test the Frittenwerk because we really enjoy eating fries. We had high expectations because of the name and the price. The ambience and service were definitely convincing for us at first. However, the taste of the food was subterranean. It was soggy and the quality of the fries is better at every snack bar, at least in terms of taste. Unfortunately, over half of it ended up in the trash because it could no longer be eaten. We don't eat there anymore. It's all more of a personal feeling.

I went in and expected crispy crunchy yummy fries, yet was disappointed. I love fries so I might have been overenthusiastic. Fries were quite tasteless unless they were drowned in the sauce of salad for (I also didn't like the coleslaw salad and pickled onions - why can't we have crunchy onions?). I ate it because I was hungry, so it was alright but nowhere close to the expectation once has when entering. The system of calling out to pick up order is super chaotic (maybe calling out the dish by its name would help or just simply giving out numbers to the customers ?) Ambiente looks nice (especially considering it being at train station) at the first glance but those chairs are not comfy at all and the overall impression when sitting down is kind of mixed (run down tables and scratched walls) I guess it wasn't the right fit for me.

I wanted to order the Tijuana Street Fries (as usual) only this time in cash, so I wanted to order that way. After ignoring it for 5 minutes, he (older man, already gray hair, relatively tall, slim) came over and said I should use the order terminal because he didn't have time. Unfortunately that didn't work because I only had cash with me. After I said that, he said he needed time and would be there in about 15 minutes. Waiting 15 minutes to place a normal order at the checkout?! The chip factory was even emptier than usual. Nobody was in line ahead of me or there wasn't even one. Don't understand the problem. I left again and left my money somewhere else :)

Food was good! However, if I order the salad “to eat here”, I shouldn’t put a plastic lid on it without asking! Absolutely unnecessary garbage. The lid was used for less than 20 seconds on the way from the counter to the table and then ends up in the trash. Please train your employees in environmental awareness! 2024: Was there again today, salad “to eat here”. I asked to leave the plastic lid off. You then simply put it under the salad. The plastic lid was not in use and went straight into the trash, despite a request and explanation when ordering! You have no respect for the environment!

The fries were quite dry and a bit lacking in taste. The rest of the side dishes were ok. But the churos were delicious. I find the pick-up names funny, even if the calls are difficult to understand. The ambience is pleasant, but you apparently also pay for that. I might go again for the churos.

Was there for the first time today and I was really shocked. For €9.50 (!) you can get perfectly normal fries and a sauce of your choice on top. The fact that all the fries got soggy afterwards didn't seem to have been noticed in the product design. I also ordered radishes for 90 cents. I got 1 radish, sliced ​​very thinly and placed it on top of the fries and sauce. When designing the product, it didn't seem to be noticed that the radishes become warm and no longer taste good at all. Maybe I chose the wrong sauce? No! My 3 colleagues each had a different sauce and the fries were all soggy. The whole thing is eaten with a 3-point wooden fork without a shovel. Good for popping fries. But did the product designers try to eat something sauce-like with it? It's virtually impossible. The funny thing about fries is that they have that special crunch. If you pour sauce over it, it's just greasy potato sticks. So it wasn't just that it was a very expensive fries dish. It was also a very bad french fries dish. I really wonder how this can hold up at the main station. The best part was the reasonably good jalapenos.

Great chip shop, which I can highly recommend. The veggie curry sausage is really good and actually tasted better to us than the real thing.

I ordered from the company in question via a delivery service at 7:30 p.m. Planned arrival according to the app: 9:00 p.m. The order was slightly larger and our location was a distance away, so that was completely fine and expected. At around 9 p.m. we got the message that the food would be coming at 10 p.m. Shortly before 10 p.m. the order is canceled. If it's not during opening hours, you shouldn't take orders, but at least cancel them earlier. So I will never order from this location again with my family.

Delicious poutine at Leipzig Central Station. Even though the Frittenwerk is in the middle of the train station, they did a pretty good job of making the ambience nice and cozy. You order by machine and pay by card, get your "order name", which is called up as soon as the order is ready. We had a Poutine Quebec with garlic fries and one portion was really enough, even for two people. I thought the fries weren't quite cooked through, but otherwise they tasted good, lots of garlic!

Very tasty Food - eating Poutine with my bestie sorta has become almost a "Tradition" already now when we meet in the City. The atmosphere is really nice with all the wooden planks - sorta feels a bit like a Log Cabin there and it adds to the enjoyment of the food. What doesn't is the sometimes pretty loud music, which makes it also hard to hear the name of the Code-Word printed on the Receipt from the order. - Which brings me to a suggestion: you already have a Monitor installed over the counter, where you hand out the meals. So, why not use it to show the currently ready meal-orders's Code-Words instead of having to scream them into the room/area (another reason why the loud music is sorta detrimental, too, btw.)? I'm sure your screen behind the counter already shows these Order-Code-Words, so it shouldn't be hard to set-up the IT in a way, that you can just tap them on the screen when they're ready and they're going up to the Monitor above the Hand-out-Counter!? Much easier for your employees, too - since they don't need to compete with the Music Volume either ;-P

The food was excellent. With French fries with toppings, with the selection. And the prices are nothing to complain about. The location in the train station is not the nicest, but acceptable. Long waiting times are to be expected. The service was fine. Not bad but not particularly good either. Despite this, I would recommend it, especially for the food.

The food has always been OK, the staff have always been very friendly and the atmosphere has been very good. Unfortunately, everything here has now been switched to cashless.
