No thanks, the bratwurst was expensive and not cooked through, still half raw. Never again.

I was very disappointed, since everyone raves about Frittenwerk! I tried it for the first time – I won't be going back. The fries were soggy (far from crispy), and I had to search high and low for the topping ingredients. I initially thought they'd forgotten something. Perhaps a tip: just put the topping next to the fries. The fries will stay crispy, and you can cut the topping ingredients into slightly larger pieces! Visually, it looked good.

Every fries lover should eat here at least once. There's so much choice, it's hard to decide. It's so delicious and plentiful, no one will go hungry.

Be careful with the gluten-free dishes, as the preparation is often not very clean and there are numerous opportunities for cross-contamination with gluten-containing ingredients. I don't always tolerate the food. The food tasted great and the service was fast.

Well organized, short wait times, helpful, friendly staff. The price is perfectly reasonable. Beautifully integrated into the massive historic station building.

The fries were ice-cold, the chicken almost frozen solid inside. The sauce was watery. That was probably my last time eating at Frittenwerk Leipzig. The food was an outrage, and I won't be putting myself through that again. Three-quarters of the meal ended up in the trash. Since I was in a hurry to catch my train, there wasn't time to complain on the spot. What a shame. I'll probably be disgusted by the food there for the rest of the day.

It was our first time at Frittenwerk. You wouldn't believe it, but it's true. The atmosphere was cozy, especially considering it's located in a train station. They also paid attention to cleanliness, which was great! The fries were sensational! Garlic fries with salad and chicken balls. The price was reasonable too. We were really surprised. Keep up the good work!

The fries were ready very quickly and were really delicious. The place itself was clean and had a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend it, especially since its location near the main train station makes it easy to reach many other places.

We finally managed to eat at a chip shop! 🤩 What can I say? I want to go back! 🤩 Ordering food on the screen, selecting the extras you want, and ordering. So easy. It wasn't busy that day, so the food was prepared really quickly. The fries, the sauce, the whole dish—a real treat! 🤩👍 We'll definitely be back! 🤗

It's quite tasty for a snack. The vegan currywurst is delicious, but unfortunately not in my top three, though it's decent. The selection of vegan sauces is really good and offers a lot of variety. The house fries didn't seem very fresh to me (at lunchtime, on a weekday); they looked like they'd been sitting out for a while. As for the atmosphere, it's basically a passageway where you sit. There are some spots where it can get quite drafty and rather uncomfortable.

The cashier with the long brown hair provided excellent service and was very helpful. She has a wonderful presence, and the man in the Santa hat was super friendly. I'd gladly shop there again. I highly recommend it.

The food was very tasty. The selection was quite large. We ordered at the terminal. Everything was prepared quickly. We ate in; it was clean, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Only the prices were quite high.

I always love coming here. The staff are consistently very friendly, attentive, and patient. They help you choose, offer helpful advice, and make sure you find exactly what you're looking for. The food is also always excellent and a real treat!

The food was good. The portion was decent too. It's been worse before. Unfortunately, it was a bit pricey. I'm deducting one star because the two young women waiting tables were working so slowly and chatting so much during my lunch break, when I had little time, that I had to wait 15 minutes even though only two people ahead of me had ordered.

Up until now, things have been okay, but my last order of vegan (!) Istanbul fries (which were packed in the "regular" version) was such a disappointment when I checked the menu again – if it's displayed on the screen, you should at least be able to read it properly. Considering I had to throw the whole thing away, a) almost €15 is definitely too expensive, and b) it's just a waste of food. If I order from there again, do I have to monitor every move the staff makes as a customer, or what?? Customer service is also useless (whether contacted by phone or in the store – they said the cash register receipt from the previous evening had already been deposited, so there was nothing they could do except prepare it again, which I didn't need at 10:30 am). And the store manager is completely unreachable, no matter what time of day you ask in the store or call the contact number on the business card. My email, in which I described the problem, provided photos, and requested a refund, has also gone unanswered. If I order from there again, I'll be told I have to monitor every move the employees make, or what? Very disappointing and, above all, annoying!

They serve fried potatoes with sauce, and there are also options with chicken and meat, like the classic version. They make them clean and delicious. They only fry potatoes and fry meat items in a different oil. This way, it's safer. Churros are an option for dessert, but they could be fried a bit better. It's a nice place.

I ordered from Lieferando for pickup. They accepted the order and deducted the money from my account. I arrived and didn't receive any food. They charged me €20. Thanks for nothing.

Their food is the best but my god…. They really need to speed up their service rhythm. I ordered desserts 3 simple desserts as “to go”. And as I’m writing this review. It’s still not here. They are really good when it comes to the quality of their food but service is wayyy slow. This isn’t alright and It needs to improve! I hope they take this the right way. :)

I haven't eaten such bad fast food in a long time. All the dishes were completely overseasoned (spicy) but not salty. The fries were dripping with oil and tasted anything but like potatoes. I got goosebumps while eating them, and let's not even talk about the price. They didn't accept the mall voucher either, even though it was listed. When the food is bad, the ambiance with the dirty tables and floor is also unappealing.

If I were to die, I'd go to Frittenwerk heaven, hallelujah ✨ The employees are always so sweet and help with every little thing. A cool nickname idea to counteract the boring numbers on the order form :3 I eat there so often (Vegan Currywurst Special, incredibly cool invention) that all I'm honestly missing is a stamp card, and then you'd have me with every meal. I also absolutely adore the interior design, super cozy and beautifully green, with lighting, simply sweet! I love you, you're my second family ❤️

Yesterday I visited Frittenwerk for the first time. It was dinner time, so it was quite busy. I can understand that things don't always run smoothly when the place is very busy. Nevertheless, the entire visit was rather "meh" for me and my companion. Since the front ordering terminals were occupied, I stood directly under a fan at the entrance that was set way too high, so I decided to place my order at the cash register. If I hadn't explicitly mentioned that I didn't want garlic sauce, who knows what I would have been served. The service behind the counter also seemed a bit disorganized and uncoordinated. I then had my chili cheese fries (which were all really good), a Coke that was unfortunately uncooled and simply too warm given the outside temperature of over 30 degrees Celsius, and an extra vegan currywurst. This currywurst, unfortunately, was a complete no-no. As it turned out, my companion's (also vegan) currywurst was at least a bit overcooked on the ends, but otherwise, both sausages weren't really edible in terms of consistency. I can only speculate as to the reason. My companion's "Currywurst with Fries" meal was also missing mayonnaise; I have no idea if that's normal or an oversight. Even though this review contains more negative than positive aspects, I would still like to point out that there are only people working behind the counter, and it was very hot and busy that day. Therefore, I won't avoid the Frittenwerk in the future, and ultimately, everyone should make their own experiences.

I love Frittenwerk and always order the same thing: vegan currywurst on garlic fries. So, I know what it tastes like... I didn't smell or taste any garlic. It's okay, mistakes happen! So I went and mentioned it, after all, I ordered it with garlic and paid more accordingly. The boss (or manager or something) told me you could tell it had garlic on it (from a piece of parsley that's always on it as a topping) and you wouldn't smell the garlic in currywurst anyway (anyone who's been here knows you can definitely smell it). I still insisted on getting it properly. Then he said they'd have to throw it away and made me feel guilty (for his mistake). Thanks! Besides, this Frittenwerk doesn't place much emphasis on hygiene. The woman in front of me ordered something to-go, but it didn't fit in the box (it wouldn't close), so she used her fingers—without gloves or anything like that—to move the tomatoes to the right place. I personally don't think it's that nice, but if you like it, come here 🤣 I'll still go to Frittenwerk, just not this one. The manager, with his good humor toward customers, is also a great role model for the other employees—not! Better go to McCes or something.

Today was my first time at Frittenwerk Leipzig. Ordering at the self-service terminal is quick and offers a wide selection, including vegan alternatives and snacks. Unfortunately, my fries were soggy, and the advertised freshness wasn't noticeable. The sauce also didn't really make them any crispier. Please refrain from pointing out, as in other reviews, that I should have specified "extra crispy" as a preference when ordering. You can't expect me to know this as a new customer. Apart from that, contacting them is difficult, as the order is placed at the terminal, and the store is constantly busy... My Istanbul topping with doner meat, salad, and sauces was, at least, very balanced and delicious. Of course, the terminals didn't offer any service, but they still ask for a tip at the end of the payment. The wait time of 25 minutes was definitely too long. Price/performance: satisfactory

The fries were simply cold! This could have been much, much better. The price/performance ratio is absolutely not right.

In moderately busy conditions, we had to wait almost 30 minutes for two portions of fries. Even though there were three employees, orders only came out every few minutes. But the fries were mediocre for a pretty penny. I'll never get a quick bite to eat here again...

A very chic shop with a great selection and very fast service. The side dishes are all excellent, and you can put together your own. However, and this is why it only gives it two stars: the fries themselves are absolutely terrible. They're wobbly, without any seasoning, and are truly some of the worst fries I've ever eaten. I can't understand how a chain like this, which advertises the star in its name, can deliver such a poor performance.

I visited Frittenwerk for the first time today. Ordering at the kiosk was quick and easy. The selection of dishes and sauces is solid, and there are also a few good options for vegans. Unfortunately, the fries were a complete disappointment. They were mushy, soft, and barely fried – not crispy at all, more like they'd just come out of the oven and been in for too short a time. The toppings were really good, but I came for good fries, not the toppings. For me, it was my first and last visit.

There's no service since it's self-service. The atmosphere is just awful (but okay), and the food was really bad. The food looked delicious – garlic fries with shawarma topping, which was supposed to be chicken like a shawarma dish with salsa, avocado, chili sauce, and lemon mayonnaise. It sounded good. But: The fries were completely soggy. The meat was just regular seasoned chicken breast fillet, and cold to boot. The salsa consisted of tomato and cucumber and didn't seem fresh. The avocado was completely missing. There was far too much sauce on it. The Fanta from the gas bottle was great. All for €14. Really sad, never again at Frittenwerk. I remember it differently from a few years ago.

I went out to eat with my mother, and it was good. The fries were so well seasoned and served with tomatoes and onions. The service was nice.

We arrived half an hour before closing time and were served, but it took almost 20 minutes for the food to be ready. We'd barely been eating for five minutes when, at 9 p.m. sharp, the lights were turned off and we were told to leave because they were closed. This is completely disrespectful to their customers. Of course, they can close whenever they want, but if closing on time is so important to them, they should simply stop taking orders after 8:30 p.m. or earlier. It makes no sense to let someone in and then immediately kick them out. I won't be back.

The interior and decor are truly stunning. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent, the portions were plentiful, and the food was beautifully presented.

I can't understand how anyone can rave about these fries – lukewarm, soggy, and underseasoned. 'Istanbul-style' means fries with bland, low-quality kebab meat and cucumber and tomato chunks that have been sitting for a very long time in a dressing that tastes like the smell of cleaning water. Life will be better if I never go here again.

My expectation was that a shop specializing in fries would serve good fries. The reality: sticky, soggy fries that almost make you feel sorry for them, because they're so sadly hanging in the cardboard. I couldn't finish them. It's a real shame.

I'm not really a fast-food person. But the prospect of poutine really appealed to me; I last had it in Quebec. I enjoyed it. You can't give it 5 stars for service and ambiance. I'll be back, although not in Leipzig.

Everything here is made of wood with plants and moss. The fries are really delicious (but also quite expensive), especially the sweet potato ones. However, I can't recommend the shop. The bowl is made of cardboard and the fork is wooden. Everything just gets thrown in the trash. I thought we'd declared war on the throwaway mentality... whether it's recycled or made into toast... sorry, that's not possible.

Good selection and quite tasty, but how can it be that the guacamole contains half a whole avocado? Plus, there's way too much dip. It feels like it's more dip than fries!

I ordered Montreal Style Poutine Fries to dine-in. They contained besides fries also poutine, mushrooms, radishes and mozzarella. Basically the taste was really good, I only could complain about the unmelted mozzarella cheese in the fries. But I would order exactly the same dish again! This french fries concept seems to be popular as you could see lots of other guests ordering in here.

The food varies in quality. Last time the fries weren't cooked through, but otherwise they were delicious. Ordering for pickup doesn't work properly: I ordered online for pickup "as soon as possible" and it arrived after 20 minutes - but the order was only scheduled for 20 minutes later.

I'm probably too old for this shit. My fries were cold. My wife's fries took another 10 minutes. The advertising slogans are probably the concept. But what good is an unsinkable ship run by an unsuspecting crew? I also don't understand that you can only get a wooden fork if you come in front place eats his fries. My family and I went to eat lunch together and the food was pretty good. Additionally, it would be better to have a menu at the table so that you don't have to go out to choose a menu each time. There were times when a knife was needed to cut churros, etc., and it would be better if hand sanitizer was provided.

The preparation of fries is a successful composition of fries, vegetables, meat and sauces and the different possible combinations meet every taste. The ambience is very appealing in “industrial design”. The music was a little too loud for me personally. I came home full and satisfied👍

I was thrilled by the Frittenwerk in Leipzig Central Station! The furnishings are modern and cozy at the same time and create a great atmosphere. The highlight of my visit was the 'Montreal Style' dish with homemade fries. The fries were perfectly crispy and the topping was an absolute taste explosion. The staff was also extremely friendly and attentive. Everything is just right here. Clear recommendation!

I'm there often, service was great, food always first class but unfortunately the packaging seems to be shrinking 😅

Analogous to my review in Dresden: a great chain in itself, but I don't think it's okay that Frittenwerk doesn't provide a calorie table and cheekily tells paying customers on the website that they should just guess. In system catering, calorie information is actually standard. Here you probably want to hide behind the legal voluntary nature because you are afraid that customers will go somewhere else given the number of calories (the competition often has 1500+ calories per poutine). Result: 4.5 stars for the food, -1.5 for the lack of transparency and the comments on the website

I'm currently sitting here with my girlfriend. Since our train was canceled, we decided to grab a bite to eat here. The fries are very well seasoned and the consistency is also great. In addition, there is a very large portion. The sauces are also very tasty and portioned just as large. The price-performance ratio is perfect. The atmosphere is very nice and modern. The seating is comfortable and there is more than enough space. It is also very, very clean and the staff is just as friendly. So anyone who likes fries is recommended to pay a visit to the shop :)
