We were visiting family near here and had a very tasty kebab plate with super fresh salad, spicy meat and excellent sauces. Very nice staff. Location on the street isn't quite perfect, but some greenery on the footpath still provides a bit of protection. We'd love to come back.
It's not intoxicating. The location is good and hence the high prices. The taste is just good. The service is also not that great. We wouldn't eat there again because it was clearly far too expensive for what was on offer.
We always take kebabs here, so I can't say much about the atmosphere. The kebabs, falafel rolls, Turkish pizza and chips are always very good and the portions are sufficient. There is a lot of choice and the food is ready quickly. The people are always very friendly and the price is right too.
Since I travel a lot because of my job, I eat in many different places. BUT such a delicious kebab plate with fresh, crunchy salad, fresh fried fries where you can taste the fresh oil and the chicken meat is juicy but still pleasantly crispy. Just a really tasty awesome plate. The portion was very generous, just like the sight.
PS: I then took a kebab to go with me 😜 😀
Food is great and delivery is always quick, even when picking up, everyone is super nice and friendly! The only thing to complain about is the more than unfriendly driver during delivery…
Delicious! We were on the way home from vacation and were looking for a quick lunch near the highway. You can sit inside and outside. There are parking spaces right next to it or on the side of the road (there is also enough space for a motorhome, for example).
The friendliest staff and amazing quality—hands down the best Döner in town! ✨ This shop has been around for nearly 20 years, and it shows in the cozy booths with a charming old-school American 80s vibe. The way they take orders is super cute, and the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming—it feels like everyone there could easily become friends.
We ended up here during a train delay in Elsterwerda and later found out our train was canceled 🥹. The owner not only chatted with us but also offered to drive us to another station, Senftenberg, so we could make it back to Berlin on time. Truly above and beyond—this place is a gem!
Delicious kebabs at Dönerland: Food is always good.
Formerly closer to the stadium, now on Stockumer Straße, this restaurant serves one of the best kebabs in the city. Both veal and chicken are grilled on skewers here and cooked to perfection.
The skewers are always fresh, as are the salads and sauces, many of which are homemade. If you like spicy food, feel free to ask for two spoonfuls of the hot sauce, but please don't say you weren't warned. On many days, it burns like fire, but despite its heat, it tastes delicious.
In addition to kebabs, you'll find almost everything your heart desires in a kebab shop. On many days, they also serve fresh, home-cooked Turkish food, which is highly recommended.
In summer, you can sit in the small beer garden; the view isn't exactly amazing, but at least you can sit outside.
Conclusion: Döner in Dönerland is always a good choice because it is one of the best kebabs in Dortmund.
